Surprisingly quiet, considering the great location! Staff was very friendly and helpful
Nice big room. Good bed. Quiet. Loved the location; a vibrant neighborhood with good places to eat, shop, close to downtown, Monastiraki Square with Metro station, Short drive to Syntagma Square for access to bus for airport as an alternative to subway. No breakfast; tea coffee machine available with snacks for pay. I would use it again. Aris Metaxakis
Great time!

This hotel was really great. Its location has it walkable to the Acropolis and the heart of Athens. The 24 hour desk was very helpful, and the men working the desk were extremely polite and always pleasant. They have a fridge with the cheapest beverages you will find in Athens. The room was clean and big for the size. It may feel like a “boutique” hotel from the front door, but inside the rooms and halls it is spacious. The only thing I’ll point out is that the hotel is at the edge of the walking part of the neighborhood, so I recommend if you stay here, stick to the Main Street and look south.
Good location, it was a good option for 24 hour layover in Athens
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Convenient location to town centre and staff were very friendly/helpful. Thank you
Hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. Hotel has been nicely but simply renovated, and is very clean. The location is convenient but a little sketchy, especially at night. Don’t go further down the hill or you’ll end up in a bad area; up the hill toward Athinas street is fine.
Great hotel! walked from the nearest train station. A/C works, bed is comfy, rooms easily accessible by elevators, great staff! excellent stay for sure
Simple room comfortable bed very helpful and resourceful staff
The AC didn’t work well and the room was hot.
Great place once you walk in the front door. Air conditioning isn’t great. Everything else was. Clean, basic place. Good price. Area is a little sketchy, but really only at night. Half a block off a Main Street, but not the cleanest street to be on. I’d stay there again.
Great place to stay if you want to see all the usual sites in Athens. Staff were excellent, very easy to deal with. Room was recently renovated and spacious for Europe.
Pricewise it's ok to live a night or two. Location is good but the hardware of the room is below average. I guess that's why this is rated as 2-star hotel.
Staff was nice, efficient check in and check out. Room maids were friendly and did a good job. Rooms however was on the noisy side. Sound from the hallways and elevator comes right underneath the door and awoke me in the night. Could hear other guests coughing loudly through the walls. Hotel is in a seemingly sketchy area. Lots of graffiti on the street building walls, located in an area with a lot of middle eastern and chinese businesses, and other very local small businesses. But when walking around in the daytime or early to mid evenings, I did not feel unsafe. The area is actyally vibrant with these businesses, with foot traffic. Lots of cheaper, various dining places and shops within 1 to 5 min walk. No restaurant in the hotel, no sundry store. But there is a refrigerator in the lobby where you can buy water, sodas, and beer at reasonable prices. So for price, it was okay for the value I suppose.
Great Hotel near the center, very nice and helpful stuff. I can recommend this property!
Great spot for a short stay in Athens. Room was well appointed. Daily cleaning. Good location within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do. Staff were very friendly and really helpful.
The room had everything I needed and was close to everything.
Everything was great except the room walls been so thin. I could hear everything going on outside. Besides that, the staff was great and my room was equally comfortable too.
The location and the hotel itself are great. My only complaint is that they don't serve breakfast.
Basic, not great
Hotel was basic, ok inside. Area is noisy, dirty and feels unsafe. Windows don't offer any noise exclusion
I found it perfect for my stay in Athens as a fit, single older woman traveling alone who likes to do a lot of walking. Nothing fancy, but neither am I! The Psiri hotel was a safe, clean, quiet, very affordable centrally located hotel, perfect for exploring Athens. 24/7 front desk, coffee, water and snacks available for purchase in the lobby. I had Plenty of hot water and a comfortable bed with no outside noise. It’s Near the metro, most attractions, and the hop-on-hop-off bus stop. Props to Nikos, front desk guy extraordinaire. He was kind, funny, and extremely helpful in answering my questions and arranging a tour to Delphi for me.
Great hotel for our first night in Athens. Lots to do around the hotel and staff was super friendly.
Rose and George,2 night stay
Clean, very good shower. Excellent location for Athens centre. Good value for money.
deceptive appearances
To be honest we were worried when we saw the run-down area surrounding this hotel. However we persevered and were glad we did - interior was great and the staff super friendly
The room was CLEAN and the staff friendly and helpful.
Great stay great service friendly people
This hotel is the definition of Greek hospitality - every staff member we had the pleasure of interacting with was extremely friendly and helpful - the room was excellent and very clean. We also appreciated the quiet ambiance for a good nights sleep
Overall was ok. The main issue for low ratings was the night staff male that was on during the nights. He was rude and just unprofessional in my opinion. All other interactions with the other staff was all great which is a shame
Dry noisy place and no shampoo cattle and inside
Athens Psiri was a great find. The hotel was clean, safe, and had everything we needed. What a great value!
Good property, clean and conveniently located. Good attitude of the staff, but the A/C in the room was not very powerful.
Very nice and clean The only complaint I have is the mattress was extremely hard and we were in the room next to the street which became very noisy in the morning
Exceptionally clean! The bed was comfortable and the linens and towels were nice. Great location, easy walk from the metro. Many restaurants in the are.
Highly recommend
Very affordable price. Good location and convenient. Room is simple but very clean. The staff were very nice and pleasant. To me, I’ll give it 9.5 out of 10
Good location, clean room and good space
Clean, convenient hotel. Centrally licated near transport options and dining.
Excellent location. Walking distance to most anything. Staff was excellent and helpful. Clean and efficient.
This is a good option if you’re traveling with multiple people on a small budget. The staff at the facility are wonderful. The place is clean. You can walk to nearby restaurants and squares in 4-in, so it’s convenient.
it was last minute booking, great service.
location near to the center
Great, newly refurbished rooms close to sights
Clean and newly refurbished room, with a great shower. Staff are friendly and helpful and someone is on the desk 24/7 which was great for late arrival and early departures. Hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Monastiraki square, great restaurants, shops and a supermarket. It is also within walking distance (20-25 minutes) from the Acropolis. I stayed here a full week and would stay again.
Pretty good. Staff was helpful in arranging taxi. Location is pretty central.
Great location close to First. No staff available after 12pm each day.
great value for money central Athens base
Reasonably priced central Athens no-nonsense hotel. Very clean and comfortable, reception staff friendly and helpful.
The room was very very small! You can listen all night people coming and going. The hotel is very old!!! But the person who is working in the reception is very professional and helps a lot!!! It was very clean, near the center!!! For one night maybe it is ok
Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Enjoyed our stay!
Nice place for the money
Nice place and location for a city break and was very good value for money and easy to find
Hotel was clean, serviced and restocked everyday. Elevator, well located. Very friendly and helpful staff 24 hours.
Very clean. Very Modern compact room. Great stairs and very modern elevator.. no view and far from a 5 star hotel but perfectly great for the price. I am visiting for the sites not the beauty of the hotel. I sleep there:).
