Great motel. Great coffee options of usage. Only thing for me was I found the bed too hard.

Great place to stay. Very handy for all the things I needed to do in that area.

Misleading room pictures

Misleading and inaccurate photos. Poorly maintained 3-bedroom apartment and packed with excessive old furniture.

CHC Stay

We did have a good stay , and the motel was well placed for easy access and central to where we were visiting

After a review the lady has done something for room, make it fresh then when we checked in, while we check out we were happy that she had done something to made better 😀

Good overall

Standard motel services. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Disappointing that I wasn't able to arrange a late check-out on arrival. Would try to do this in advance if there is a next time.

Very handy location

Excellent host lovely clean rooms

when me and my partner got there, we were told to be in room four and given the key for room four. before that we were told not to book through expedia with a very annoyed tone and to book directly next time (there will not be a next time) but if there was such a problem booking through expedia it wouldn't be an option we went into our room and it was very clearly not ours because there were two bedrooms and additional beds in the livingroom but this was the key we were given and we didn't want to bother anyone so we set our things down and went out when we were done with our activities, my partner got a text that they moved our stuff to another room and the way the text was worded made it out like we were stupid for not knowing this wasn't our room but we had places to be and if this was the room they were going to give us, that was going to be fine with us we asked for the key to our new room when we got back, got it and then some of our things were missing which meant they were still in the room, but there were now people in there so we had to wait until the morning to get our stuff we asked for our stuff again in the morning and we were told to go up there and ask for it back?? so we did only to see these new people were using my items and had drank our drinks and put them in the bin we got 20$ back for the drinks but i cant believe our stuff was lost and used like that and then me and my partner were forced to fix it ourselves when none of this was our fault

Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Great

The apartment’s location and size were great. However, it was falsely advertised. We booked based on the photos provided on the website and expected a modern kitchen and ensuite bathroom. In reality, the 3-bedroom apartment we stayed had an outdated kitchen that looked nothing like the photos. There was no ensuite bathroom yet it was specifically stated it was. The managers admitted that the photos were taken of a totally different facility and falsely advertised as what we were booking. It is disappointing that what was advertised was not the reality. On check-out we were offered one night free as a compensation which we accepted. I would be very sceptical to book anything through the booking website in the future. Some frustrating details: handles in the kitchen were greasy, tea towels looked worn out, light didn’t work, the dishwasher had a dirty fork and other disgusting stuff at the bottom of it. The toilet seat was broken off, supplied towels had an unpleasant odour. The tea and coffee (promoted as supplied) were never refilled during our 5 nights stay.

We were greeted warmly on arrival, despite feeling bad that we arrived fairly late at 9:45pm, I was assured that it was no problem. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped... just perfect for our brief stay in Christchurch. I loved the extra touch of having a Dolce Gusto coffee machine in our room! What a treat! I will definitely stay here again.

It's a nice tidy property. You will have a great stay. We walked to Riccarton Mall from here - 20mins.

Great for the price. Could do with new towels as ours were old and looked unclean

Good value for money and low stress. Location worked well for an early flight.

The room configuration was weird. There was a queen bed in the kitchen and two single beds in the bedroom. The bedroom door wouldn't close because the bed was in the way. The towels were dirty after they were 'replaced'.

Don’t miss Christchurch!

Our hosts at Comfort Inn were very friendly & offered good advice on how to get around & what to see. The Inn was within walking distance of food & shopping. The area around “the church” was walkable with lots to see & do. Recommend staying here.

We got a nice quiet corner and it was great for the kids. The hosts were wonderful.

Pleasant

Upon checking in, the lady was very informative and friendly. Everything was seamless. Since my mother has mobility issues we had asked to be placed in a room on the bottom floor and the lady kindly gave us a free upgrade. Many thanks for your hospitality! Excellent room conditions too. Highly recommend :)

Quiet Motel

A good value at a convenient location

The room was a good size with a nice kitchenette. Very clean and everything in good condition. The rooms was quiet despite the fact that we were right off a busy road. The hotel is close to a large mall and there are many places to eat close by.

Friendly and handy

We had a very comfortable stay after along drive. The owner directed us to a nearby takeaway and checked that we got there and back again. A very clean and friendly oasis!

Nice apartment

stayed with another couple, plenty of room, former apartment/house for previous owner. Requires a little updating... but otherwise clean and fresh

Friendly staff who provided a car seat when we realized we'd left ours behind. They had upgraded our room and moved all the minibar items up high and out of sight because they knew we had our kids with us. We were not disturbed by staff at any time, and their cleaners did a great job. An an enjoyable week.

Very nice hotel with friendly a management team

The hotel is very comfortable and cozy and the management team is outstanding! Although we arrived past midnight our rooms were waiting for us with coffee, tea, milk and cookies

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had plenty of knowledge about the whole of New Zealand, from places to go and check-out/explore/experience for the day, to other places with great accommodation around the country. The room was spacious, neat, tidy and very clean. The unlimited use of free wifi was definitely appreciated. Most places in NZ will only give you 100Mb for your stay, or charge you upwards of $10 for just 10 minutes use. So this was a bonus. It's close to plenty of shops and is in a beautiful part of the city. It is easy access by car, and you will be able to park your car securely on the premises. I was there during the 5.7 earthquake and the building held up really well. Nothing was damaged. It's a safe place to stay.

Pleasant property but with road noise

All in all a nice property with all the facilities we required but would recommend asking for a room away from the street. There was a lot of road noise which disturbed sleep unfortunately. Other than that, a good stay.

The Clyde

Staff was pleasant. Neighborhood short walk to Uni but not much else to offer. Linens and bedding worn and dis colored.

Fantastic place to stay. Close to everything. Would highly recommend staying there again.

Convenient location

Friendly staff at check-in. The room was old and a bit dim, but it didn't really matter. Internet was fast and unlimited. Very convenient location - Riccarton has everything and access to city centre/airport is very good.

Good basic motel, clean and tidy

This motel is spacious, clean and tidy. The beds are a little firm for my taste. Sky TV, kitchenette with basic equipment. Most rooms are well back from the road and have double glazing, so generally quiet, although Riccarton road is very busy and seems to attract alot of police sirens at night. A group of shops nearby, including takeaway and dairy. Owners/managers helpful if needed.

Comfortable stay

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. Comfortable and clean. There was a nice breakfast special for a very good price served in the room.

the room cleaners did not clean the room. have to ask them to change sheets. first nite the bedsheets were used. dont think will stay there again

Comfortable motel

It was an overnight stay on a business trip to Christchurch. The people who run the motel are really nice and helpful and the bed was comfortable. Otherwise it was a good basic motel. I was a bit disappointed that even though I had booked well ahead I got the room right by the main road. It was conveniently located for me and is on a bus route from the airport. I would be happy to stay there again on a business trip.

Business trip for one

Motel, was in the right place, though it can be hard to spot it from Riccarton Road if the traffic is moving fast. I got room 18, which is the nearest to the street. It is double glazed to reduce the sound of traffic. For a business trip,I would have liked to be futher away from the street.

Very nice well-equipped and comfortable motel room

An all round positive stay! First choice to stay if we are back in Christchurch.

Excellent place to stay

Very big room and clean, friendly host. Our flght arrived very late, when I sent an email to check if I could check in late, I received a prompt reply with clear description how to find my room. They also told me the time when my rental company would pick up me. Very good service. Whole family is so happy to stay there!
