This is a quiet and convenient location in Assisi. The staff was not particularly friendly and the room needed some attention. It list parking as an amenity, but it is not on site. It is a 15 minute walk straight uphill to one of the city parking structures. Had I expected that it would have been fine but since I arrived in the evening after a long day the extra 45 minutes to empty the car, park it in the lot and and return to my room wasn't great.

This hotel was one of the nicest we had in Italy. The room was spacious, very clean and updated. The location was in the midst of the lovely shops and a short walk to the main sites. We wanted to stay longer. The breakfast was very nice!

Centrally located - Close to Monastery!

No elevator. Difficult to get to by car. No hotel pick up or drop off.

I loved the location. It was convenient to dining, shopping and most importantly to the St, Frances .

Room was large which was nice. No elevator. Stairs needed a sweeper on the rug and a duster on the rest of the stairs. bathroom large Breakfast was horrible. Powdered eggs and everything else was cold. Room right on the street and crowd noise was terrible. No air this time of year. So with open window. Very noisy.

Great place to stay!

Amazing location. You really cannot beat it. Short walk to the main town square (Comune) yet far enough away to get quiet for sleeping. Staff was very nice. Great little breakfast area each morning with Cappuccino. Large room, huge bathroom. Zero hesitation recommending this hotel

The hotel is well located and very near Basilica d S Chiara and the main square. Giorgia from the front desk was very helpful, assisting us in booking our car service and train tickets with great efficiency.

Very clean, spacious room. Close to all the Bascilicas, shops, dining. Great breakfast.

Assisium`s staff is welcoming, helpful, friendly, and efficient - perhaps they are the strongest point of this 3 star rather small hotel, somehow posing as a 4 star, which it is not... The hotel has no elevator, so keep your luggage light - specially as 7 of its 14 rooms are on level 3, requiring to climb 52 to 56 flights of stairs, anytime that you wish to use your room. The photos published by Assisium are a great example of good photographic hype - but the hotel is very far from what their photos lead you to expect. The structure of the hotel is itself quite limiting, so there is no way it will ever compare to the 4 star hotels available at Assisi. My room, one of the 7 rooms at level 3, was extremely small, to the point of not being comfortable.

A beautiful place to visit & a lovely property to stay at. The breakfast was so good and the bed was very comfortable. A safe place to visit as a solo traveller, recommend this hotel to stay at.

Great place in the best location.

Property was clean and close to most places but the bathroom had a smell that seemed to come from piping in shower and toilet area had a smell

Wonderful Hotel in Assisi

Wonderful hotel in Assisi. A perfect location just inside the main city gate with easy walking access to the key sites in the city. The rooms were modern and spacious. A great stay.

Nice to drive up and drop off luggage. Parking is a bit of a hike up the hill, but the walk back is beautiful. Very conveniently located.

What a disappointment.. Expecting an upscale boutique spa property and unfortunately it fell well short. Our room was in an annex building, not far but not at the hotel. Not including the external stairs, our room was nearly 50 steps to the top with no elevator. The room was fine but the thermostat read 27C when we arrived. Because it’s too early in the season for AC we opened the window which initially worked until throngs of young people partied in the piazza we overlooked until well after 5AM plus there is a bright light in the piazza that shone straight into our room which unfortunately only had sheers so we couldn’t filter the light out. The noise was so bad we were forced to shut the window. Between the light, the noise, the heat and a very uncomfortable bed, we got little to no sleep. The next day we spoke to the front desk about what appeared to be blood or similar on our towel rack and requested to be moved. The bathroom was no cleaner the next day and the desk clerk either couldn't or wouldn’t move us. Breakfast was very poor compared to other hotels. Aside from the location, this hotel fell well short of expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness and particularly customer service. Even at check out, we were not asked how our stay was or whether we needed a taxi or assistance with our luggage. We were never provided with any information regarding the Spa or any other hotel amenities. Visit Assisi but perhaps choose a different property.

This property has great location in front of the Bacilica of Santa Chiara(Clara).

Great place to stay!

We loved everything about this hotel! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable, and the had the best breakfast of our whole trip.

Great location. Very quaint hotel with great service.

We were placed in an annex building 100m away. We were on the 3rd floor with no elevator. AC did not work nor did WiFi. Manager said he would fix it but it still didn’t work. AC finally cooled the room at 2am on our last night. Room was very nice. Check in was great. Breakfast was great.

The is very clean and very nice. Also it is located in the center of the town therefore everything is easy to reach by walk

Beautiful and clean

Great location next to the "New Church" and just around the corner from St. Claire Basilica with everything in the old city of Assisi accessible by a short walk. Discounted parking included a short walk away with luggage drop off and pick up available very close to the apartment. Note in the Assisi Suites there are stairs up to the units with no elevator available, although on check-in the hotel staff helped to carry our bags up to our room. An excellent breakfast in the charming restaurant next to the main hotel office with made-to-order cappuccino and expresso was included with our stay. The room was spacious and very clean with a large bathroom and amazing shower.

Location is good and central from all direction. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is nice, comfortable and clean.

Claustrophobic

My room is in a separate building, the room is big and newly renovated but only one small window open to an alley, feel claustrophobic. Also there is no smoke detector in the room. No toilet paper holder in bathroom.

This was absolutely a beautiful hotel. Fabulous beds, shower and breakfast in the morning. Exceeded expectations!

Beautiful boutique hotel - everything looks very newly remodeled. We loved the quiet and calm of Assisi and this hotel was in the perfect location.

Nice property, amicable staff, some rooms not well designed with steep stairs to the bathrooms. Good location. Parking in the outskirts of the historic center but relatively easy to park.

Poor room layout, no privacy in shower.

Poor room layout (Room 308) shower in bedroom with clear doors so no privacy and 3 tiled steps out - very dangerous! Toilet & sink in separate room at other end of bedroom. Who thought this was a good idea?? 5 flights of stairs - no lift.

THE HOST CARLO WAS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND KIND. BEAUTIFUL HOTEL AND TOWN.

Rooms need a comfortable chair to sit especially since there are no public spaces to sit. Otherwise a very historic building with adequate amenities in the rooo.

The room was clean and the breakfast was excellent. It's located within walking distance of most major attractions.

Clean. Good wifi. Lots of water pressure. You do need to walk from the check in office to the room depending. Best breakfast in our euro trip so far. Do NOT bring roller luggage to Europe. Invest in a good carry on size backpack. If you have to bring a big luggage bag rent yourself a taxi or uber and have them drive you to the end of the train station or front door to your hotel room or air bnb. Bring good stair walking shoes or hiking shoes. We have walked 45km in like 4 days with lots of elevation

O quarto era bastante amplo e confortável e bem localizado, dentro da cidade murada

L' hotel gode di una posizione ideale in centro storico ad Assisi, nei pressi della Basilica di Santa Chiara. Abbiamo trascorso la prima notte in una camera al terzo piano della struttura, con l'inconveniente di un cattivo odore di fogna, proveniente dal bagno. Dopo le mie rimostranze, ci hanno trasferito il giorno dopo in una camera ben più confortevole e grande, ubicata a breve distanza nella dépendance dell'hotel. Nulla da dire sul personale, estremamente gentile e disponibile. Un ringraziamento particolare va a Giorgia. Un plauso anche al ristorante dell'hotel, presso cui abbiamo consumato un'ottima cena.

Hotelli oli moderni ja siisti, myös aamupala suhkot monipuolinen. Huoneemme oli kuitenkin noin 100m päässä toisessa rakennuksessa, jossa ei ollut hissiä, joten ainakin painavien matkalaukkujen kanssa hieman hankala matka.
