Lovely new fit out for the rooms . However the room was rather all night, we assume the door wasn’t sealed properly ? Good air con for the heat in Hamilton pillows were very thick .

A very comfortable stay in a unit that had not long ago been completely refurbished. Nice and quiet for a larger complex. Would certainy stay there again.

Ashwood Manor Motor Lodge

It was a good location on a budget. The place was small, but clean. We shared a bathroom with other guests, so it’s not the place for everyone if they aren’t into sharing showers and toilets.

Great motel and very central. Lots of space and good parking

The staff were super friendly. The place was absolutely clean and so quite after so stressful day. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Clean enough, but basic. New furniture in room still had assembly stickers on it. No free to air tv, or Sky - only pay to stream, which I guess is ok if you can remember your PW. Should be told this. Close to cafes restaurants which is a plus.

The staff was nice and helpful but the facility is an older facility that has been somewhat upgraded but is still a motel.

Smoking on stairs by next door people. Very unpleasant smell

Everything was very good for the reasonable price. My only gripe is personal in that I found the pillows too hard-personal preference.

Easy to check in, and the room was lovely

The shower in the downstairs units is quite small but otherwise it was very nice. Beds are very comfortable - I slept well.

Spacious room

The place was clean and well presented. We did have a bath mat which was odd, but apart from that we can't fault our stay. It have everything we needed.

The room is very clean, the room is recently renovated and all the furnitures and equipment s are almoust new and in working condition definitely we come back to stay there

We stayed here for one night, booking the day before we travelled. Check was simple and I was greeted by a friendly staff member. Our room was very clean and modern, with great air-conditioning. Easy accessed from the ground floor. Would recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in Hamilton.

Loved the spa bath!

We like everything about this stay. We had a nice sleep in clean beds.

Lovely staff. Comfortable beds & good tiny kitchen. Tiny shower & huge spa bath? Would be better to have roomy shower with perhaps foot step for access to feet for your older customer. Sadly the grounds were very unkept & so detracted from the accommodation. However, the Motor Lodge is very central to entertainment, restaurants, cafes.

Fantastic location

Found out the upstairs rooms had spa bath's when being used very noisy Parking is very challenging due to the place being located on the side of the Hill. Bed's are rock solid. Sore after a few nights stay.

Reception was friendly and efficient. Room was clean and modern. Easy walk handy to town.

This place was relatively clean but no TV only U Tube. Service was OK but. Convenient to facilities that I needed but wouldn't stay again as for price not value for money.

looks like it is now emergency housing for winz bathroom wasn't cleaned properly toilet had a strange smell coming from it. no info in room about fire plan or exits and info about motel eg: room service, local numbers. will not b returning to this motel

Unfortunately nosiest place I’ve ever stayed at.Other guests arrived after 11pm making lots of noise and rubbish truck arrived outside our window around 6am to empty all bins.We also were beside a very busy intersection with sirens and traffic noise most of night.Room was adequate and reasonably clean.Would not stay here again as I value my sleep too much!

Stayed a couple of nights & was quite disappointed with the experience. Couple of things, parking was shocking, barely anything. Hardly any off street parking also. Bed was broken on one side so not good. I also think it is being used for emergency housing so was a little apprehensive around the place, didn’t feel comfortable & wasn’t pleasant.

Friendly and helpful staff. Great rooms, big space and very clean. Highly recommended!

The jets in spa did not work their where marks on the towels and on the bed

It was awesome to meet the manager, Deepak. Very lovely gentleman who was very friendly and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable about Hamilton and recommended some good things to do in the city. He made us feel very welcome and ensured that our stay was great. Thank you so much!

Handy stay in Hamilton

Handy to CBD. Spa bath didn't work until 7am in the morning. Spacious accommodation.

The room condition was not what we expected for what we paid. There were a lot of stains in the carpet. The TV remote didn’t work, the bed and sofas were clearly old. There were many noisy neighbors and the police was onsite getting people out. A lot of inappropriate language was use by people staying in other rooms. The staff was nice, he tried to be helpful, however we were shocked about the place, we felt we were mislead from what we saw on Expedia.

Property was clean to a moderate standard, there was someone's hair still stuck to the shower. Stairs going to upper units were very slippery tiles. Location was good, handy to where we needed to be. The second bed in our unit was a fold-out, pop up type bed although comfort-wise it was OK.

Lots of people loitering in car park on arrival, person at reception was rude. Overpriced when clearly motel is full of emergency housing tenants, extremely loud music woke the whole motel up at 6am, no attempt by management to stop it.

Service was fabulous. The welcome was warm and children well catered for. The rooms were clean and the price very affordable with good quality rooms.

It was a nice tidy room and the bed was compfy but there was some water damage and wallpaper lifting in a couple spots in the room

We really were impressed by how well equipped our room was, in particular the bathroom and kitchen area. We didn’t like the road to the hotel - missed it the first couple of times as it was a sharp, quick turn after the junction.

Great Location

This motel is in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants. Close to Hamilton Gardens. Room has obviously recently been redecorated.Management very helpful. Only negative was the mattress was a little soft for our liking.

Great stay

We had a lovely stay. The spa bath was fun

I have stayed a number of times. But the place has gone downhill. The cleanliness of bathroom was poor with mould in shower. Light switches broken. Light in bedroom/lounge was buzzing and flicking on and off. Very unsafe. They had working for families people living there as well as gang members who tried to intimidate. Very disappointed will not be back.

Bath had been overflowed before leaving floring lifting,toilet bowl was loose carpets badly stained, light bulbs blown in bathroom,very hot no aircon so had to go and buy a fan just to sleep noisey people obviously a winz motel

Owners are very nice. Rooms are very clean and modern, with many facilities for cooking etc.

Lovely stay

Very pleasantly surpised. The room was huge. The spa bath was incredible! Very polite and helpful staff. You can even prebook a breakfast to be delivered to your room, which was a lovely treat

Extremely disappointed with the state and the colour if the towels. Although the towels felt clean the colour of what should have been white was a grey colour with numerous stains on them. Fortunately there was paper hand towels and had to use these. The pillow slips weren't any better. There was smelly rubbish outside doors on arrival which was moved on request. There is obviously a lot of families using these motels as home stays until alternative housing is sourced. Very noisy at times. Definitely nothing like the pictures in the advertisement. Only thing in its advantage is the proximity to the lake and CBD. Definitely won't be recommending to anyone

I experienced a terrible stay. Room below us were having domestics all night, Staff at reception were terrible esp the lady. She forgot she had to give back my bond and was angry i woke her up early as i had an early morning check out. Terrible

Apalling customer service

Spa bath didn't work. Was told difference paid for a spa bath unit wouldn't be refunded as they knew there was a problem with that unit and could have fixed it. At 9 o'clock at night when we discovered it we did not want hotel staff in our room. Whole experience ruined. Will never stay again

Dreadful customer service

Chose this motel as it had rooms with a spa bath and paid extra for this. The spa bath didnt work, when relaying this to reception in the morning and reqesting a refund of the extra money I had paid for this added extra I was told yes there is a problem with that room and if I had phoned them they would have fixed it. You would wonder why they did not tell me they knew of this problem when I checked it. Very disappointing and I won't be staying here again. Definitely don't recommend.

Really nice had everything we needed and more staff were great and very accommodating

Have stayed here before the lady wasn't as friendly as the one we have encountered in the past also the people staying on the premises put up by winz were smoking pot and very loud not as pleasant as our last stay.

Amazing Spa bath and Shower

Amazing spa bath. Comfortable beds. Strange smell couldn't tell if it was from bathroom or kitchenette. Overall had a comfortable stay and would return.
