When I got there, there was no water for two hours in my room. It was hot water. The bathroom was dirty. The water is smelling like a gutter. I was not happy. I will ask that very

Could not sleep all night because of the bar directly under the hotel blasting music until 5:30am. The noise was deafening, staff were rude and felt like we got catfished with the photos provided online. Expensive price for what you get at this place.

A really good Hotel and a good price

It’s the second time I stay at Ashlee Hub, and this time I stay 2 month. Everything is working and the staff is very kind. The cleaning of the room is very good👍 A. Valin Jakobsen 😎 I will book again.

Convenient location

Need the hotel to have better bathrooms to make sure water doesn’t run out of the bathtub on the floor and also the first hotel to not have any hand towels. When asked was told they don’t give hand towels.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired.Available 6.30am to 10.30am everything was cold by 8.am.Pool also substandard tiles missing broken ladder and also not the cleanest

Found bugs in my room. Every thing about hotel needs upkeep, Breakfast was sad first morning toaster broke no one clearing tables, run out of breakfast items, cold eggs, coffee burnt ran out of plates glasses and silverware.Next morning no toaster sum what better but needs improvement

Very nice and clean

Great place to stay, right at Otop Market. Room was very clean and presentable. Even though it was very noisy outside, the double glazed balcony doors block most of it. The only thing I’d add is that the breakfast add on is not worth it. The choices were very limited and you’d get better value from the myriad of offerings in the street.

This property is advertised as 4 star. 2 star at best. The roof top bar and restaurant are not in operation and the pool area consists of a few broken sun lounges. Very run down and service was average. It was very disappointing but the location was good if you like night life. The music from the bars across the street keep you awake until 4.30am.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at the Ashlee. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

It’s the third time I’ve stayed at the Ashlee and for the price it’s ideal but it is now in need of updating and the lift must Be the slowest in Thailand. If you don’t spend a great deal of time in hotels rooms I would book this place all day and the staff are all great and friendly and it’s in a great location for everything

Peter at the reception was a great help. Very enthusiastic and helping even during the night time. Overall was a good stay, but the smell at the lobby and the staircase was uninviting.

Don't stay at Ashlee Hub Patong

We have been to patong 6 times and always stay at the same hotel. Thought we would try the Ashlee hub but will not go back again. The staff were OK but only got 1 roll of toilet paper per day for 2 people so we asked for more and had to hide it in the safe. There was no conditioner supplied a tiny tube of shower gel a small hand soap the towels were stained. The tea coffee was never topped up had to ask for more. After cleaning room the bench was never wiped I had to do it and the floor not cleaned. We were there for 11 days. It took us 4 days to realise you had to ask at reception for pool towels(should be in your room). Went to go for swim at rooftop pool no staff there at all there was no drinking eating or smoking at pool so everyday we went and swam at the hotel we normally stay at where the staff supplied us with towels(no charge) and were very accomating friendly and went out of there way for us will go back to normal hotel next yr.

Overall good experience, the staff is friendly. The food at the hotel is pretty good.

rooms need a good renovation and a serious update, the menu has not changed from like 8 years ago, however need towels in the pool area, and the pool is quite good I got to say, also bacon not ham,

We found that the hotel was good value for money and far enough away from the hustle but close enough to enjoy the shopping and eating as needed.

Dirty rats

It was an absolute disaster, your hotel staff are a lot more than they seem, they really like to help people with their money; I mean relieve people of their money, I mean rob them of their money, I am so very thankful the rats they left me my passport

Disgusting

We have stayed here many times it seems they have changed hands because the moment we walked in there it was filthy we called them back in too clean the toilet that was disgusting as soon as we checked in so it should have been a new clean room.. there was black hair through the bathroom the walls are filthy and the shower is a disgrace nothing is clean I would never stay here again the prices have gone way up with newer beds that are like sleeping on a table and the new rate for late check out is hourly which is about $20aus an hour or pay another night which was around $70aus just for a couple of hours use breakfast is now an additional 300 baht per person per day I would highly recommend you stay away from this hotel it was absolutely filthy

DO NOT STAY HEREEE!!!!!

First day of check in we walked in & got everything settled at the front desk. Then we proceeded to the elevator only to realize that there is only 1 elevator & it can only fit 4 people comfortable. So we made our way to the room which was at the end of the hallway, little sketch.. The room looked nice at first but we realized there was a small blood stain on the sheet & dirty towels. We called the front desk & they took a good 20 mins to change it. We also left the balcony door open for a little & a BUNCH of moquitoes flew into the room which is partially our fault but still it added fuel to the fire. Then our friend took at shower in the room nextdoor & the water leaked EVERWHERE all over the ground.. AND the water pressure sucked so we ended up switching rooms & it still had the same problem. The floor that we are on now has many broken lights one being right by our room which makes it sketchy. 3rd night here & now there is ABSOLUTELY NO WATER coming from the sink & VERY LITTLE water pressure from the shower with NO HOT WATER. WE CANNOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF HERE TOMORROW!! i mean cheap is cheap but really this is RIDICULOUS!!! I could go on & on but I will just leave it to this.

Hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of bars and shopping right at your door. Wi-Fi in room was not always strong but the foyer was better. Breakfast was OK but lacked the finer points, eggs were precooked and kept a little warm, danish pastries were poor, and could do with better than coco pops. Towels were changed daily but looked dirty, they were not. Room was large and spacious looked great and had a brilliant balcony.

Very disappointed

After staying in this hotel in 2011 and finding It excellent this time the complete opersite the room was cleaned to a very low standard bed sheets only changed about 5 times in 3 weeks the balcony was never cleaned once the shower constantly sprayed water all over floor never enough toilet paper mould and orange stains in bathroom only one lift which is small and slow the Wi-fi was a nightmare the one positive the staff extremely helpful and very nice we never ate in restaurant so cannot say anything about

It was pretty good

The bellhop was very nice and helpful and the front desk was pretty attentive. They only have one elevator and it was kind of slow. The keycard technology was on point. The bathroom is pretty large but not a fan of the bath/shower water system it was a trick to figure out and the water pressure was not the best. The couch was very comfortable and the view was great from the 7th floor. The rooftop bar and pool set the place off, though. Very nice bartender who made a GREAT Long Island. All in all it was a good stay. Clean too.

A great hotel

I do stay at this hotel nearly every year. It's close enough to everything. Beach is a 5 minuted walk down the street. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, shop nearby. Or to just sit and watch the world go by. The roof top pool is great. The rooms are big. What more do you want. It's about a 10 minute walk to Bangla Road and Jungcelon Mall.

Review

All staff at Ashlee Hub are lovely, most helpful and issues dealt with quickly. Good location, attention to detail for the laundering of towels & bed throws, these items were stained (not nice when towels are white & bed throws have stains on them, dust on lamp covers..... Hot food was cold at breakfast, due to tea lights not monitored & replaced frequently, leading to food going cold in the bay marie, could potentially lead food poisoning. These things pointed out can be addressed very easily. We enjoyed our stay overall - Thank you 😊

good hotel close to where i wanted to go

yes i enjoyed myself this time in patong as it was a fun trip with my friends . we went out to many bars and cafes around patong and always ended up in our favorite drinking holes.

This hotel is in the middle of everything. Close to hundreds of bars, restaurants , tattoo shos and shopping. About 1/2 mike form the beach. This is our 2nd time here. Same hotel.

Fantastic Hotel in the chaos of patong

Great hotel, friendly staff very willing to help. If you know Patong you waony find a quiet place. But in your room no sound from outside and very comfy. Only issue was lack of mini bar but does have fridge so just buy your own. Thanks again and I’ll be back soon

Location too top bars is excellent

When arriving the staff did not seem interested in serving us. I have stayed there several times but after this last stay I won't stay there again. There seemed to be a adour smell in my room.

Grate hotel if you want to visit the bars in otop.

I had a grate time at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and very nice. The hotel is very clean and the room service is good. The food is at very reasonable prices for a hotel. I was on the 7th floor so I didn't hear any noise from the bars. The only thing I believe that needs changing is the opening hours of the pool. It is 7am to 7pm I think it needs to be open later at night. And less chemicals in the pool would be nice.

Close to the beach and OTop Plaza

Nice but older hotel in a good location. The foyer and restaurant areas are a lot newer than the rest of the hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful. Room was spacious with a balcony. Mattress was firm but very comfortable. Aircon was great! It can be quite noisy from OTop plaza bars & Hard Rock close by, but it does tell you that when booking - nothing earplugs don't fix!! Some maintenance needed in the bathroom as leaking water from shower and under bathroom sink. Shower curtain needs a really good clean. Towels need to be checked as not always very clean looking. Breakfast was included in our deal and the food was nice, but the buffet breakfast catered a lot more for the chinese clientele which is a shame. I would recommend this hotel as it is a great location with reasonable price.

Average to good hotel . Had a number of problems with wifi . Many of the staff unable to understand English . Rooms are a good size but a little noisy but understandable given the location .

Clean and spacious hotel. Directly opposite Hard Rock Cafe. I like rock music so the loud rock music did not bother my sleep at all. The band will usually play till 3ish am. 7-eleven conveniently located next to the hotel as well.

blood on bed sheets

Absolutely disgusting. first night I discover blood on my bed sheets. when the sheets are replaced I see the UNDERLAY with a massive blood stain. How can the housekeeping staff put such disgusting sheets on a customers bed??? Clearly a plumber was not involved with installation of drains....since when does a drain get installed at the highest point?? this means water will not fall away, pool on the tiles, eat away at the grout...ugly water stains everywhere.

Huge rooms, big comfy beds, large bath tub :)

A bit more expensive than I usually go for, I paid around £40 a night here. I wanted a room with a bath for a couple of nights. This room didn't disappoint. In the UK, you'd easily pay £150 a night for a similar room & facilities. Little bit of music at night as it's right next to Hard Rock Cafe & the OTOB bars, but didn't bother me at all. Easy walking distance to everything you could need xxx

Noisy. Poor cleaning.

Noisy until late. Poor housekeeping, toilet not cleaned for 5 days, even after several requests. Poor understanding of English. Tried to put us in one room instead of the two that were booked and paid for. Room themselves were spacious and comfortable. Poor selection of television stations.

Large hotel room!! 10 minute walk from Beach!

Great location, 10 minutes from beach, but near Hard Rock Cafe so it was noisy as they have a live band until 11pm!

Friendly and easy

The hotel is conveniently located to many local shops, pharmacies, eateries and within walking distance to Jungceylon. Staff are very polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and large with balconies and had a good view of the locality. I would definitely stay again.

Can nOT sleep until 2 AM BECAUSE OF MUSIC FROM Cafe They dont know English. Conversation can be very hard. Furniture is old . Smell in the room is not nice.

Stay away

Felt totally deceived once we saw our room after seeing decent reviews online. The room was junk, dingy, shower curtain moldy, sheets with old stains, extremely loud music from Hard Rock. Do not stay here.

Great location, great price but a little too loud

Overall, it was a great location. It's at the end/edge of all the action so you are not in the thick of it but close/walkable to center of it all. There are bunch of shops, eateries, travel desks and bars right in front of the hotel so you don't have to go far at all. It's about a 5 minute walk to Patong Beach and 10 minutes to Bangla Road. We really liked the location but there are a bunch of Aussie bars right in front of the hotel that plays loud music plus the Hard Rock Cafe is across the beach and their music is blasting. Luckily we brought our earplugs but it didn't cut out all the sound. If you are looking for a quiet area, be warned. The hotel exterior and the lobby is updated and modern but the room was bit outdated. However, the room was large and the bed was comfortable. The a/c was good and the wifi was strong. The rooftop pool was nice and so was the gym. We did the breakfast buffet for 200 baht and it had an omelet station, fruits, pastries, salad bar and some Thai dishes. The staff was nice and the check in/out was quick. Overall, we had a great time and if it wasn't for the noise, we would definitely stay here again. If you are looking to party and don't mind the noise, go for it but if you like nice and quiet, stay away.

Terrible hotel with moulds smell

Moulds smell for the room, few lights are spoiled, shower tub and refrigerator are leaking of water. Floor are dusty and I stayed in second floor which are near to Hard Rock Cafe, very noisy in mid night but is good if you are the person like to enjoy the noisy environment.

Our 2nd Time Staying at Ashlee

Located just bside the Otop Shopping and about 10-15mins walk to Jungceylon and Bangla Road makes this hotel a great place to stay in.

The lift was damndamndamn slow... The hotel has only one lift to serve all the guests, very inconvenient. The pillows in the hotel room was smelly.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel

Hotel is a little old. When I asked the front staff to reserve a taxi for me she gave me a higher price the second time I asked her. She lowered the price for me when I told her that it wasn't the same price she gave. You have to bargain everywhere in Thailand, but at least I thought I don't need to do that at my hotel but I m wrong. The taxi price the hotel offer was higher than the taxi on the street. You can definitely find better place with the same price in Phuket.

We had a great stay! The staff was very friendly, helpful and accomodating. The food at the Mix Bistro restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious!

Service, quality, rooms need improvement

Couldn't find my reservation, preferences, or any information submitted. I arranged a late check-in (around 3:30 am) and didn't get into the room until close to 4:30 am. Front desk clerk just shrugged and told me he couldn't find anything, and seemed like he was going to leave it at that and let me leave without checking in to my prepaid room. After continuous persisting, he finally found my reservation and gave me a room - not the non-smoking, King size bed I requested - even though I was checking out only 7 hours later.

Next toard Rock but if you close curtains then noise is low. Room needs a deep cleaning.housekeeping and room service staff were excellent. Front desk staff were dry and impersonal.

Very conveniently located hotel

We enjoyed our stay at Centra Ashlee-however the noise from hard rock and the bars around doesn't make for a sound nights sleep. When we asked to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel they were very helpful and we changed rooms immediately. We can't wait to come visit again :)

Great close to everything

I just love Thailand this hotel was very comfortable and the staff was awesome. Very close to a lot of things.

Located south Patong so not too close from Bangla's madness. Nice hotel though with design issues (tap hard to turn on, mirror not facing the sink!). Stay was unpleasantly disturbed by drunk/junkies neighbours but the Hotel Manager dealt with that to relative satisfaction.

Good location in Patong

Good value, decent room, nice location

Hotel was in a great location and within walking distance to main attractions like Bangla road and Patong beach. Great for party goers, Only thing is, if you are looking to rest up or have kids i wouldn't recommend it as the hard rock cafe next door gets very loud until about 2am everyday with live music outside. Overall great hotel and would stay there again.

anytime you book online is always a bit scary.. until you get there.. in this case, it was great. 2 blocks from the beach, seafood restaurants a block a way. the HArd Rock Café hotel across the street.. the rooftop pool was a mazing

Stiff beds, loud area, busy, close to beach

- wifi is always in and out (have to keep signing back in every little while) - bed is like sleeping on a hard board with a comforter on top - very loud music at night so if you stay here, get placed on quiet side - 3 min walk from beach - massage, restaurants, souvenir shops all in area - nice rooftop pool - shower is low flow - A/C get to freezing level so good for those hot days in Phuket

on the whole hotel good.reception staff very friendly. the rooftop bar pool area ordinary half the time no one thereto serve you they kept disappearing not good enough. usually it was in happy hour so maybe it was intentional

Excellent

The lobby is a bit lacking, but everything else makes up for it. Friendly staff, terrific location, and the rooftop pool/bar is amazing,especially for sunsets. The private balconies are very nice. Live music can be heard outside very clearly from local bars.

It was disappointing

The hotel was massive with only 1lift for 9 floors. The hotel room door won't lock properly during the entire stay. Room service for toilet paper was attended after 45mintues.Toiletries were replaced during cleaning up. The water pressure for shower was bad. There was a major problem with their doors, during my stay I saw a lot of guests complain about the same issue. This was a major let down for me, I did not feel safe sleeping in the room with the door unlocked. The sensor system was so messed up. Anyone could open the door from outside. The location was really good buy dissatisfied with the overall experience.

Room was a bit dirty especially the bathroom and smelled terrible!!! Hotel was beyond hot! No air conditioning in the lobby, restaurant or elevator!

Cheap and in patong, but wouldn't stay again

The hotel itself was ok, except the lobby stank like poo. And in Phuket, walking down the street, you get a few solid wafts of open drainage and serious bowel pyrotechnics, but this was in the hotel lobby. The place itself was ok for the price, but being across from the Hard Rock Cafe (or the bars right next door on the other side) meant there was noise that penetrated your room in every sense of the word until 2am

The room had a good size and location. When I entered the lobby, it had no central airconditioning and had a stale smell in the air. I travel widely snd usually staying in 2-4 hotels and this is my first 3 star hotel that did not provide body lotion toiletry for guests. It's a small hospitality gesture, that's good to adopt. I felt that the shower curtain needed to retire as it had soap scums on the bottom edges. All the front desk staff was attentive except for one lady who probably got up on the wrong side of the bed. I recieved a haughty response when asked for a business centre or a common computer to print my boarding pass. Her response took me by surprised as it was not your typical friendly Thai hospitality. She did not offer any alternative to my situation. Unlike her colleagues (given the same scenario) they offered alternatives and was able to resolved my issue. Considering all the above, my overall stay was pleasant.

Over all stay ok,need some improvements

The hotel staff are quite friendly and polite,we received a warm welcome by the counter staff immediately dropped off from our taxi.Shops just a few steps away from the hotel,Patong beach can be reached in 10 min.The breakfast is delicious,but we discovered that on the third day of our stay,they didn't provide croissants and goreng pisang(fried bananas with flour)which my girlfriend like most,and on the fourth day no goreng pisang,croissant provided but the small round bread with raisin didn't come out,our opinion is they shouldn't cut off that stuff totally if less visitors,we don't mine if the amount is less.One more thing we like to bring out is,there is a sliding window in between bathroom and bed room,sometimes the bad smell can come out from the bath room,you know!
