We had an excellent one night stay at the Arrowtown House boutique hotel. The room was lovely and the welcome gifts of a cheese platter and half bottle of wine were much appreciated, as was the homemade cake in the afternoon. Breakfast was high quality and well presented consisting of a cold buffet, toast, and a warm freshly baked cheese and ham brioche. Service was friendly. Location ideal being in a quiet street but very near to the centre. Very happy with the choice of accommodation in Arrowtown.

It was a lovely property, we were able to check in early. There was a bottle of very nice local wine and a cheese plate awaiting us that was a fab surprise and lovely. There were also delicious cookies in the afternoon and a bowl of fruit out for all the guests. The room was lovely and the bathroom was huge. The breakfast the next day was great and really enjoyed it. I would totally stay here again and recommend it.

Great little hotel

Great little hotel. Fast wifi, washer and dryer, tasty pastries or cookies every day. A short walk downhill to a few restaurants and shops.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the wonderful service in the morning. The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed and a sitting area the we appreciated. It was very convenient having a washer and dryer in our washroom. The bottle of wine and cheese plate that were in our room when we arrived were a pleasant treat. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when in Arrowtown. Thank you.

This hotel was quite possibly one of the best I have ever stayed in, the little extras and attention to detail were fantastic, genuinely could not fault it, only wish we could have stayed longer.

Our tree tree-top view apartment had everything we needed for our short stay. breakfast by the fireplace too—delicious: salmon, meats and cheeses and homemade muffins by Sadie! A delightful and comfortable spot to enjoy all that arrowtown has to offer.

Very welcoming yet private. Lots of space in our room for laying out our suitcases and sorting our things. Beautiful garden and surrounds. Freshly baked muffins left in the lobby for afternoon tea and a lovely hot breakfast. Just like the old school bnbs but with privacy. We loved it and would highly recommend!

Our best stay in New Zealand yet. Excellent amenities and excellent service. Wish we had more time here.

Perfect!

A wonderful host, delicious breakfast, spacious room with comfy chairs overlooking the garden. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large.. shower and bath and included a laundry. The outside terrace had seating beside a garden full of daffodils, tulips, blossom trees. Very quiet and private. Attention to detail was superb. Spotlessly clean. The best!

Everything is very good

My husband and I spent our final night in New Zealand here and it was the perfect end to our holiday. The check in was seamless and we were the only ones booked in for the night. Our room was already warm and ready for us when we arrived and we also were greeted with a cheese plate and wine! It was a really short walk to the Arrowtown main street where we had a lovely dinner and we had a lovely breakfast the next morning.

My wife and I loved our stay here. Excellent location - a few minutes walk to Arrowtown restaurants, shop and the Chinese settlement. The room was nice, clean and comfortable - and a terrific breakfast to boot. Thanks for the hospitality. Highly recommended.

We loved the lovely bathroom, especially the exotic bath. Bed very comfortable and nice furnishings. The little extras like wine, cheeses, afternoon tea treats made it special and breakfasts were bespoke. Victoria made our 52nd Wedding Anniversary very special. She is a wonderful hostess and has a special charisma. Sadie was also lovely and both women interacted with us and made us feel very relaxed. They even ordered some snow for us!! Hopefully we will not be too old and decrepit to return to this special little hotel again in the future.

Wow, super impressed with this gem of a place, so many little extras made us feel very special for our 3 day stay, walking distance to pubs and restaurants, a very romantic setting.

Property itself is very elegant. Breakfast was excellent, homemade jams, fresh cooked eggs. Warm and friendly services at breakfast. Room comes with washer and dryer, nice shower. A free bottle of wine and some fruits, cheese plater. The only thing we felt disappointed was that we booked a premium room through Expedia, but when we got there, the room we were given on their check-in letter (no staff at reception) was a double (smaller) room, we found out that after we brought our stuff in the room which was upstairs. We did send a message through Expedia to the hotel manager and telling the hotel that they gave us a wrong room. We never heard anything back from hotel.

Lovely Spot close to Arrowtown

Arrowtown House was a wonderful place to be near Arrowtown. Quaint and clean property, lovely room, very short walk to town. We really enjoyed appreciated all of the little touches throughout our stay. It was definitely worth the money and then some. Wish we would’ve stayed here another night instead of in Queenstown.

when I say i give this stay 10/10 despite the room not being ready when we arrived, you can tell how good it is . Every attention to detail from the pristine rooms, welcome cheese plate and wine , to the afternoon cakes and the lovely breakfasts . The staff are friendly and helpful . Just a big wow . We’ve stayed in 12 hotels so far this trip and this is without a doubt the best so far. Every detail has been thought of . Loved it . Well done

A wonderful stay in a very convenient location. Very nice room, good breakfast and delicious afternoon cakes for tea time.

The attention to detail was fantastic, a washer and dryer in the room, beautiful room and cheese and wines on arrival . The breakfast was simply great with cereals, etc and then the host who was charming asked what I would like for a cooked breakfast after the cereals . The poached eggs were cooked to perfection . I will say again at some point .

Highly recommend Arrowtown House. Breakfast was fantastic and we loved the afternoon tea pastries. Our room was clean and we were greeted with wine and cheese. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was an easy walk to Arrowtown’s little downtown. Thank goodness for us that we happened upon this gem. We loved it!

Beautifully appointed rooms with all the creature comforts one could wish for. There are thoughtful little touches like welcome chocolates, wine and a cheese platter in the rooms, not to mention cookies in the waiting areas. Service was warm and cheerful, and the breakfast spread was delicious. It's one of those places that made us want to return to stay longer!

Absolutely stunning accommodation and we received the royal treatment- extremely comfortable with a surprise cheese platter and wine on arrival - attention to detail is magnificent- Sadie is wonderful and very helpful and knowledgeable- faultless stay beyond a 10/10 and we even extended our stay further - so close to ski field and Queenstown too - a privilege for us

Lovely property but at the top end of price

The whole room was excellent, breakfast was excellent. Only 1 rubbish bin in bathroom, could have done with another in room.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the hotel itself was very cute and decorated beautifully. I love that we had a washer and dryer too and they provided us with laundry detergent and general toiletries. The breakfast was so nice and the afternoon cakes were amazing, such a beautiful touch. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. This team are true hospitality professionals and know exactly how to make their guest feel happy On top of that the location is perfect, a short walk to the local shops, restaurants and pubs of arrowtown and has lovely views Thank you so much for such qn enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back

Worth every 5 star!

Just the most wonderful place to stay! Had such a lovely stay we’re changing an upcoming holiday to be able to stay here again with overseas visitors. Rooms are gorgeous, breakfast was amazing and Victoria was the most superb host! You cannot find better in Arrowtown!

This a a beautiful property run by a gracious and friendly owner. Very short walk (3 min)to town, shops dining,etc. and the river walk. The breakfast is amazing. The best place we have stayed in New Zealand. Arrowtown is a great place with lots of activities close by and ,of course, Queenstown is just a 20 min drive.

O is for Awesome at Arrowtown House Boutique Hotel

We stayed here 3 nights and had a lovely room with outdoor sun loungers, table & chairs for dining or reading, in a private garden area. This well appointed property is very close to Arrowtown main street so an easy walk to restaurants & bars. We had the breakfast provided by our hosts, which was delicious & varied from day to day. We were welcomed and the treated like royalty by our fabulous hosts Cathy & Jason. Absolutely everything we could have wanted or wished for was made available to us. There were always lovely treats & fresh fruit left in the lobby, a library of books/videos & games, back packs filled with picnic gear, umbrellas etc.for the guests to use and enjoy.

Could not fault location, room is impeccable, great breakfast & friendly welcoming owners.

Beautiful lodges in a wonderful location

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Cathy could not have been welcoming. Breakfast was the amazing and brought to the room every morning. Arrowtown is a beautiful base to stay in and explore the area.

The private garden with sitting area and the spacious room were 5 stars. The added bonus of a washer and dryer in your room is an A++

Wonderful place to stay.

Convenient to the main part of Arrowtown. Unique property. Friendly, helpful owners. Thoroughly enjoyed the 2 nights there! There was a washer and dryer in the room--not a common amenity at most places.

great stay and so close to the main street but also very quiet.

We loved staying here. The room was extremely spacious and comfortable, and the private veranda and garden was lovely. The extra touches - homemade baking, wine glasses of various sizes, juices and soft drink in the fridge - were a great touch. Cathy is a most gracious host and the breakfasts are delicious, especially the homemade muesli. Really useful to have a washer/dryer in the room... in fact pretty much everything and anything you need is here.

Wonderful hosts. Great breakfasts. Room and bed very comfortable and quiet at night. Washer and dryer an outstanding appointment. Really convenient to walk downtown Arrowtown for dinner and drinks. Fill up the car a stone throw from the door. We will stay again!

Perfection!

We loved Arrowtown and really really loved Arrowtown House!!! What a perfect location and what a lovely hotel. Inviting and accommodating. Yummy breakfast brought to your room. So happy we chose to stay outside of the hustle and bustle of Queenstown. This is the place to stay!! Thank you for hosting us!

Wonderful Stay

Jason and Kathy made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable, and exceeded expectations with helpful advice. Our room was spacious with all the amenities we could have asked for. Location just a short walking distance from the middle of Arrowtown was fantastic!

Short stay in Arrowtown.

We had a couple days after arriving from N. America to spend in the Queenstown area before meeting up with friends. Arrowtown and the Arrowtown House Boutique Hotel was a perfect choice. The room was well-appointed with in-room tea, coffee and snacks, and the daily breakfast was fresh and healthy, with fantastic coffee. We had a ground floor suite with a lovely private garden patio. Kathie and Jason were fantastic hosts, very helpful and accommodating, arranging for our bike hire, storing the bikes in the garage etc. Highly recommend!

Quiet retreat in Arrowtown

Lived up to expectations. Very comfortable, well thought out. And the breakfasts were fantastic! If you're into gourmet,this is the place for you.

A fabulous stay, and a warm welcome!

We arrived for a 3 night stay in Arrowtown. We were welcomed by Jeanette who showed us a local map of the area and kindly explained what was where, she then took us to our room. Wow! The room was beautiful, and I would say the photos on TA don't give it enough justice. We were very impressed, absolutely everything you could need is there. The furnishings are quality, a super king size comfortable bed, kettle with a variety of tea and coffee making facilities, with a mini fridge and best of all some out of this world delicious home baked cookies - OMG! Plenty of light sockets, room fan and out door seating which can be accessed from the room balcony overlooking a lovely established garden. Jeanette and Steve have thought of everything to provide their guests with all the comforts, not forgetting free unrestricted wifi. In the foyer there are picnic back pack bags in case the mood takes, umbrellas, DVDs, magazines and board games. Complimentary fresh fruit, and home baked muffins, even a pair of binoculars in the room and pen, paper and envelopes should you need them. There was even a bedside torch just in case! The room has a small mini bar, and microwave with cutlery and utensils. Best of all there is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, discreetly located in a cupboard, along with an iron and ironing board. Perfect for us in every way.

We really wish we had found this Hotel sooner. We often need accommodation for working in Queenstown and we have discovered that this Hotel in Arrowtown provides the best solution. Top marks in every aspect. Cleanliness, comfort, excellently appointed, wonderful food, friendly hosts with flexibility and great attention to detail. Arrowtown itself is a complete contrast to the brash hustle and bustle of Queenstown and provides a welcome respite after working. We will definitely be back to Arrowtown Hotel.

Great location, easy walk to some great eateries. We usually stay in Queenstown but enjoyed this as a change.

Great boutique hotel a short walk from town centre

The welcome and helpfulness of the hosts, Steve and Jeanette, was excellent. The room was extremely spacious and well furnished, including with our own private outdoor area. A delightful hotel and definitely somewhere we'll be returning to.

Very good place to stay

We stayed for five nights and really enjoyed our stay. Hotel very good and breakfast varied and as generous as one could wish for. Fruit and cakes were always available for us to help ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who ensured we were given everything we needed whatever the weather.

Small hotel near to Arrowtown

Great stay in the Arrowtown boutique hotel. Our room, located in a seperate building from the main hotel area, was a great size and was extremely comfortable. The balcony was an added bonus (though there was no view but just having the windows open added to the ambiance.

Wonderful

We loved our stay at the Boutiqui Hotel. Just a beautiful place to stay very luxurious with its king bed, full size bathroom, gardens and even a washer & dryer in the suite. Walking distance into Arrow Town only took 5 mins and 20 min drive to Queenstown.

Best place in Arrowtown

Comfortable large room, feels like home. Lovely and helpful hosts.

Exceeded all expectations

Lovely place, run by lovely people. All the little extras make this accommodation really something special. The tastefully decorated room, so quiet we were not aware of other guests. Books, games, movies, picnic packs, umbrellas, laundry: everything you might need to keep yourself amused and suitably turned out. Stand out breakfasts, where you hear your freshly squeezed juice literally being freshly squeezed in the adjacent kitchen. A top romantic place to stay, and Arrowtown is a really special little town too.

Paradise and Perfection

Jeanette and Steve are the consummate hosts. They understand quality service and go above and beyond the expected. Breakfasts were a delight to behold each morning and meant lunch was never needed. Outstanding food presentation and taste meant the morning menu board had the taste buds salivating. The rooms were spacious the washer and dryer a wonderful bonus as were the bath salts and bombs after a chilly day on the slopes. The DVD CD Books Games and Magazine collections were a delight on a rainy day as were the umbrellas. Will be returning when the opportunity presents - everything you expect for a boutique hotel and then some 
