Army hotel thw best of the best location, beautiful hotel, luxury hotels, the room very nice , employee super friendly, we met all leaders they are very friendly. Price are incredible compared with another hotel price are a haft. 1010 recommendations other guests. We love this location, this location thw heart of Hanoi capital, 4 minutes to Hoan Kiếm lake , 4 minutes to West lake , 1 minutes to old street of Hanoi… we will come back stay here for our vacation

Perfect location to get around and lots to see

The aesthetic of The Army Hotel is very classy. Was quite pleased with the room and the staff!

Nice clean hotel 1KM from Old Town

Older hotel outside of Old Town, which meant larger rooms, nice gym and large breakfast area. Hotel is older but was very clean. The only issue we had was the shower water pressure which was very poor, almost unusable. Our friends had the same issue in their room as well so it was not confined to just our room. Overall, nice hotel and nice stay, just hope they can resolve the water pressure issue for the guests.

Didn’t know they had airport shuttle bus Was told we couldn’t lay down on sofa but other guest where Picked on for some reason won’t be back

The pool was not available during my stay which was the whole purpose of me booking the hotel.

Smart hotel with great staff on Reception

The hotel was very smart and clean and the Reception staff were really really excellent. However the restaurant staff were not so good - we had one evening meal there and they were more interested in chatting and larking around or talking loudly on their radios than looking after the customers. The bar staff were downright rude one evening when we wanted a drink at 9.50pm. They said they closed at 10 then switched off the lights and left!! The reason was that they are government employees and cannot work over their allocated time. This was thankfully and respectfully explained to us by the lovely chap on the reception desk who went out of his way to look after us and get us a juice from the restaurant instead. The rooms were lovely and we had a free upgrade too. The breakfast was great especially the porridge and coffee. The pool and gym were top class although the water was quite cold. I had some great swims with it all to myself.

No comments, just okay for couple days stays or overnight not recommend for longer staying.

I got sick from the breakfast. And then when I went to leave they forgot to call the car I had prepaid for to the airport. Ended up leaving 15 minutes late in a taxi.

Location is right in the middle between old town and representative side so I walked alot. Very good service all around the hotel. Never had the pool service person coming with a towel towards me! Breakfast was ok but could be presented nicer. The only minor complaint/suggestion I have is to find a way to keep the noise of the water pump down - it does not help to keep the door open...

Great place - room cleanliness is the only issue

This place is great, we stayed an extra four nights! The pool is fabulous and the staff lovely. We had a problem with the WiFi and toilet hose and they sorted it immediately, no fuss. The breakfast is also very nice, with lots of choice. The cleaning of the rooms could be better. There's was a clump of hair in our room on day one and on day two it had been massaged into the carpet. The other bits of dirt on the floor never even moved. On the penultimate day they said they'd made the room up but they'd just done the beds and water in the room. That being said, we'd stay again because it was so relaxing overall. We wouldn't try the bar again though, we went once, ordered drinks after twenty minutes of waiting and then got ignored when someone new came over and placed an order. We never saw the drinks! Four days later we did get approached and asked if we wanted anything though...

I liked everything about hotel other than the fact that they took all of the weights out of the fitness center the second day I was there.

Impressive hotel with lovely swimming pool

Only 10 minute walk to old Hanoi hotel is located near government buildings. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of foods ; streaky bacon fruits ; danish ; eggs cooked to order freshly squeezed fruit juices ; toast cereals and Asian dishes. Great large swimming pool with overhang if it rains - no shade between 12 noon to 2 pm if sun is out . Pool is quiet with occasional non hotel guests paying to use . Pool towels are provided. Spa closed / not in use

Well appointed rooms

Well appointed hotel and room and extremely clean. Excellent breakfast.

Pros: nice property, big rooms, breakfast ok1 Cons: never spoke to us/got the cold shoulder (probably due to them not speaking English)

Does the job

Positives - location, pool and room size Negative- no hot water in room and then some confusion as to whether they were going to fix it delayed our dinner by an hour. It was fixed in the end. Could do with a deep clean and there are very few plug sockets.

Frindly hotel, good service, close to Old Quartet...only difficulty poor knowledge of english language

Nice hotel in the good neighborhood

Big hotel with swimming pool near the quiet area. Walking distance to explore president palace, botanic garden & Hochimin museum. A little bit far from the airport express bus station & Hoan Kiem lake. You can enjoy afternoon relaxation in the swimming pool. Most of the staffs were nice & friendly except one of the female front desk clerk. Needs more efforts for room cleaning. They didn’t change bed sheets during whole 4 day stay.

A great way to finish a holiday

The army hotel was my final hotel for my stay in Vietnam and it was a Well presented and Elegant hotel. The rooms are comfortable and cosy but the only downside is the poor Conditions of various items in the room. I had to personally clean all the scum off the shower head so it could freely flow with water and not spray in various directions whilst trying to shower which was a initial inconvenience for my girlfriend. The mould which covered 40% of the walls near the shower was also quite disgusting, But the other 60% of the room was very nice.

Great stay, good location & cheap as chips!

Large hotel which based right next to the Army barracks (lots of army in the hotel lobby during the day having meetings and socialising which is interesting to observe). Great location as very very cheap cab ride to District 1 which is where all of the restaurants and nightlife is. WARNING - If you don’t like hard beds do not stay here - beds are firm (my friend described it to be like sleeping on rocks). The rooms however are large, spacious and have an excellent bathroom with complimentary shampoos etc which are replenished every day. Large selection for breakfast - omelettes and eggs to order, rice, noodle soups, breads, pastry’s, fruit and even fried snakes head! The price that you pay is so good at this hotel I would definitely come back!!!! The only 2 negatives were the Room Service (very little choice and the 1st two options we requested were unavailable), and also the hotel restaurant wasn’t great, food we had here in the evening upon arrival was not good! - lots of better places in the area within a 10 mins stroll. Also had a good pool which only the westerners appeared to use. Front desk staff helpful. They arranged private transfers for us both ways. Return airport run was $20 whilst pick up $30 due to waiting costs for driver etc. Return can can be called for $15 but most of the local cabs are very small so if you have a lot of luggage you won’t fit. I will definitely return to the hotel and highly recommend it!

End of Holiday

Good value 4 star hotel about 20 minutes walk from the centre of the old quarter Rooms are large and spacious as is the bathroom and shower There is a decent gym and nice swimming pool but it is icy cold, during my stay at the end of March I usually had the pool to my self. The public areas of the hotel are very comfortable and relaxing. The spa that is advertised does not exist although it appears some of the staff are unaware of this. I would request a top floor room if possible as the views from the lower floors are limited. Parts of the hotel need a little updating in its decor Any body who wants a very good hotel with good amenities at a reasonable cost compared with others of a similar standard in Hanoi should certainly consider the Army Hotel.

Nice hotel

Army hotel is a nice hotel in hanoi.Ecomy price and clean .The location is good and not far from downtown.

Bed is bad, room is old but breakfast is fantastic

The room was not as good as I would have expected for a 4-star hotel. The design was old and the bed was too hard for me that every morning when I woke up I felt pain in my back and neck and I needed to go to massage for 3 days in a row to relieve the pain. The breakfast however is a pleasant surprise. Many choices of food and it was spacious. I like the rice noodle section the most. Very tasty! It reflects the local taste of "Pho". That's how they call it. I would not return to this hotel as I think at this price I would have expected a more comfortable room but location wise it is fine. Within walking distance (10-30 mins) to almost all major attractions

Worth a Go

Very comfortable hotel, staff very helpful. Pool area quite nice with a big pool and good seating. Breakfast was good but not great. Location within walking distance of most of Hanoi's attractions (Mausoleum, military history, citadel, fine arts, & Temple of Literature). Also near places selling Ha Bia or fresh beer - at US $ .20 ( 5000 d) for a large mug it's the best reason for going to Hanoi. Price wise seemed a good deal.

Good modern hotel, shame about the staff

Great new hotel but the staff/service lets them down. So many minor things that would turn this place around...slow replying to email for airport transfer, doorman that doesn't assist on arrival, cold and clinical check in, rude staff at times.

Central location. Vert nice pool (but still cold in early March). Rooms on the 4th floor could be noizy in the afternoon (club on the 3rd floor). Staff was very helpful.

Great stay. Away from all the chaos but still within walking distance of it all.

Quiet location with going out options

Breakfast was a big reason for the high rating. Good variety of food and good morning drinks. Appreciated custom omelettes.

The Army Hotel is GREAT, but it's the Army Hotel.

My 2nd stay. Had a business meeting scheduled on short notice. Booked online at about 2pm, checked in at 4pm the same day. Receptionist was well aware of my reservation when I showed her the confirmation on my iPhone screen. She, and all the staff are super nice and polite. Room was very spacious, spotlessly clean. Bed very comfortable. Food was good and reasonably priced. Restaurant was nearly empty. It had an interesting table arrangement. In addition to the regular set up of tables for two and four, it had six long tables of 12, 6 chairs on a side. I suppose there are Army groups, or other delegations, that come sometimes. After an adequate buffet breakfast, (included in the price), off to the airport, only 40 min away. The receptionist arranged taxi for me. I will definitely stay at the new Army Hotel again. The restaurant could use improvement

Poor service

They promised taxi from Airport but taxi didn't come. Because of my mistake with hotel reservation, they didn't help me at all. I had to start looking hotel somewhere. Time was 5 a.m. my luck there was hotel quite near which helped me.

호안끼엠 관광하실 분들에겐 추천 합니다. 올드쿼터 안의 호텔들은 좁고 열악하고 비위생적인 경우가 대부분입니다. 근데 여긴 깨끗하고, 조용하고, 안전함이 느껴지는 곳이에요. 직원들 응대도 깔끔하고, 시설도 준수합니다. 호안끼엠이랑 서호 둘다 걸어서 갈만해서 무조건 추천.. 한국인의 위생 기준을 맞춰준 유이한 호텔중 한곳 입니다. 추천!

ツインルームを探してこちらを予約しました。 バスローブやスリッパ、アメニティもありました。 延泊を依頼した時のフロントの方の対応がとても良かったです。 旧市街まで15分程度歩きます。 朝食は毎日少しずつ変わっており、楽しめました。

当初の2泊から、飛行機の遅延により1泊追加しました。レイトチェックインを希望したところ、とても親切にご対応いただきました。 朝食も種類が豊富で、連泊でも少しずつ内容が異なっていたので楽しめました。 旧市街までは徒歩15分くらいで、アクセスがとても良いとまではいきませんが、歩いてる行ける範囲で良かったです。 バスローブやアメニティも完備されていました。

숙소 위치는 서호 근처라, 자주 가는 호안끼엠 지역이랑 1.4키로 정도 떨어짐. 방 크기도 엄청 커서 만족스럽고 조식도 최고. 1층 바에서 즐기는 맥주, 칵테일도 좋은데, 숙소 내 비치된 물값은 받습니다. 외부에서 챙겨가요

ハノイ滞在では、アーミーホテルに泊まりたい。

今回、初めてのベトナム旅行でハノイを訪れました。当初旧市街にホテルをとっておりましたが、ホテルがある通りが昼夜を問わず異常にうるさく、夜も全く眠れませんでした。もう無理ということで、こちらのホテルに移動してまいりました。室内は大変広々としており、落ち着いた雰囲気で掃除も綺麗にしてあります。ホテル内は大変静かで窓から見えるプールに癒されました。十分なお湯でバスタブにゆっくり浸かることもできました。毎朝、無料の朝食が大変美味しく楽しみでした。サラダ、フォー、クロワッサンなど大変美味しかったです。フォーの麺はいい意味で少しざらっとしており、なんだか特別な触感がありました。ハノイの有名店のフォーよりこちらのフォーが美味しいのではないかと感じました。フロントのスタッフさん達は、いい意味でさっぱりされておりますが、質問したことは毎回すぐに調べてくれたりきちんと対応してくれます。次回ハノイへ滞在する際はまた利用させていただきます。ありがとうございました。

Hotellet var död och många delar av hotellet var avstängd. Det saknades elementära service utrustning t.ex. is hinkar och dylik . ingen rumsservice på nätterna.

이 호텔은 군인 호텔이라서 군인이 치안을 감당하고 있어요 치란은 안심되요

수영장이 갖춰진 저렴하고 넓은 숙소

수영장이 있어서 그런지 중심에서 조금 떨어졌지만 조식과 룸 컨디션은 좋았습니다 주변에 가까운 마트나 편의점이 없어 조금 불편했지만 조용하고 쾌적한 환경이 좋았습니다

가격대비 만족, 다만 조식은 먹을만해요

Bra hotel

Veldig fint hotel, bra frokost og veldig bra service! Basseng og gym er også bra. Jeg fikk et veldig fint rom i 8.etg, men utrolig dårlig lydisolert. Så hørte alt fra gaten utenfor meget godt! Er vel bedre med rom og vindu mot baksiden og bassenget tenker jeg. Ca 10 min å gå til old quarter der man går ut på kveldene

주변엔 딱히 볼꺼리는 없지만 가격대비 숙소는 좋았습니다.오래된듯한 문때문인지 문 닫으실때 꼭 확인해주세요 확인 안햇다가 문이 덜 닫혀서 옆방 애기가 문열고 들어와서 엄청 놀란 기억이 나네요.

滞在中、とにかく不愉快でした。 まず朝食、room service、poolでの料理、全部不味い。 アメニティの補充がなかったり、眉間にしわを寄せて対応するならまだ、でもしてくれなかったり、荷物を勝手に移動していたり。 room makeも、シーツなど、一度も変えてくれていなくて、きれいにセットし直しただけ。 フロントでタクシーを呼んでくれても、来るタクシーに乗るまで見送らないし、質の悪いタクシーが来るので安心できない。 でも楽しく過ごしたかったので、黙っていました。 ですが、チェックアウト時、タオルがひとつ足りないと、お金を請求されました。 そのタオルは一度も使っていません。 でも信じてもらえず、空港に間に合わないからと言ったら、じゃあこの金額を払ってください。と言われました。いったら安いし面倒くさいので、支払いました。 でも、金額の問題ではなくて、泥棒扱いされることが、最悪でした。 いままで海外に行ってこんな嫌な思いをしたのは初めてです。

아미 호텔의 장점은 구시가지를 경험하기 위해 좋은 위치에 있고 수영장도 야간까지 이용 가능하다. 조식도 괜찮다. 많은 종류는 아니지만 굿. 쌀국수 맛있다. 주변 로컬식당도 좋다

그냥 문안한 호텔 이였습니다. 조식이 조금 뭔가 부족하다 싶은 거 빼고는 만족했습니다. 호텔 부대시설이 조금 부족했습니다.

수영장이 예쁘고 놀기 좋아요 룸 컨디션도 괜찮지만, 방 청소를 너무 이른 시간에 하고 전체적으로 직원들이 불친절합니다 그리고 조식이 너무 별로에요
