This was the best guest house I’ve ever stayed at! Fantastic host with great local recommendations, large comfortable rooms, and the view from the common room and pool area was breathtaking!

Stunning views of the harbor. Beautiful property. Incredible host as well. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Antigua.

A really lovely B&B. Warm welcome. Fabulous views. Accommodation very comfortable. Nice pool. Delicious breakfast. Own transport definitely needed as it is very remote (up a steep hill!) with no shops or restaurants in walking distance. Great base for exploring Antigua.

Great Stay!

Arca Villa was WONDERFUL - the views and the pool deck were such that I never wanted to leave, even to venture into town. Bathroom was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. People who are sensitive to early morning noise may prefer the west side of the villa (I am pretty sure my room was the only one to hear anything)

The property was amazing the fresh made breakfast every morning was superb the owner was so helpful and had a lot of local knowledge and she made everyone welcome and got all the guests it eat breakfast together so if you where travelling a lone you felt part of something so my husband and I really recommend this and it was so good we’re going back very soon

Great location for visiting English Harbour. Good value and Alberta is very knowledgeable about the area. Had a wonderful 4 day stay:) . We would stay again.

The whole ambiance from the personal greeting of the owner/hostess Alberta to the views and decor make you feel like you have escaped to an island paradise more aligned with the South Pacific but is only 8-10minutes from English Harbor.

The best Antiguan stay

Most wonderful place! The rooms and accommodation are gorgeous and Alberta is incredible and makes this the perfect place to stay. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful time and stay. The place is lovely. The room was a great size for us. The bed was comfortable. Alberta was so friendly and helpful and always available. She cooks an incredible breakfast! You can’t beat the view! The pool area is just amazing! The villa is up in the hills and about a 7-8 min drive to town for meals so I would recommend renting a car if staying here. The walk would be difficult as it is all up steep hills. We had a car and everything was convenient to visit the island and beautiful beaches! Thank you Alberta for making our visit to Antigua so memorable!

Me and my partner have spent 12 lovely days in Arca Villa. The property is extremely clean, comfortable and cosy with an incredible view and a swimming pool. A very good breakfast is served on the terrace with a wide selection of fruits, handmade cakes and savoury options (eggs & bacon,...). Alberta (the owner) is a lovely person. She has been on the island for several years and she will be able to advise on where to go and what to do. The villa is conveniently located in the best part of the island and it is close to amazing beaches and restaurants. Highly recommended to have a car. We highly recommend Arca Villa!

Amazing Place!

Innkeeper/owner Alberta was awesome. Place is awesome with the views and amenities. We had high expectations from the pictures -- it was even better than expected! Hard to get here and around without a car though. Careful driving as roads are steep and not great conditions. Alberta has great recommendations and knowledge of the island having been here for over 21 years.

AMAZING!

Wow - what an incredible place. We've been lucky enough to travel frequently and this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. The pictures don't do it justice, the property itself is gorgeous and the view is fantastic over the hills. We loved waking up and sitting on the terrace with the sun rise, then taking a dip in the pool! Alberta was the most gracious and accommodating host, so helpful and happy to chat through things to do/places to eat locally and answer any questions we had. The breakfast was absolutely delicious too...we were very sad to leave! Thank you Alberta - we'll be back.

Alberta makes the environment very relaxed and tranquil and makes you feel at home. Loved our stay here and would definitely return. Cant forget her delicious breakfasts!

Great value and location

We loved our stay here. Sadly we only booked one night, but we wish we stayed longer. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The common areas including the patio and pool had gorgeous views of the harbor. Our host was lovely and breakfast was delicious. You can tell she really cares for the villa and guest experience. I would highly recommend for your stay in Antigua!

A fantastic B&B! I didn't realise when I booked how close the house actually is English Harbour but every morning you get to have a delicious breakfast with the most breathtaking views. Having breakfast with the other guests was such a highlight as you can share tips and reviews with each other. The house itself is gorgeous (and massive) with a sophisticated Caribbean vibe, and the room is a good size as well. Alberta, the owner, is so lovely and wonderful and full of brilliant tips to help you make the most of your trip. I'd recommend this place to solos/couples looking for a calm sanctuary, with easy access to the nightlife in Shirley Heights and English Harbour.

The Service was at another level, super/awesome breakfast. the views, clean facility. Safe.

Very welcoming host, fabulous room and property with superb views across Falmouth harbour and the yachts. Easy parking. Lovely indoor lounge area, outdoor balcony area and pool area for sitting and relaxing. Book swap available and a fridge in the kitchen specifically for guest use. Breakfast was just fabulous. We can find no faults or negative points. We would definitely go back to this little gem. Thank you Alberta.

Great place!! Beautiful with beautiful view. Outstanding attitude and service. Outstanding breakfast. I have been travelling through Antigua two to four times a year for the last 20 years and this is the best spot I have stayed in.

A beautiful home in a wonderful setting. Stunning vistas of the mountains and Falmouth harbour below. Easy drive to dozens of restaurants in historic English Harbour district, ranging from good to excellent. Alberta was a warm and welcoming host, and we enjoyed lovely breakfasts prepared by her on the terrace. Loved our stay and have already booked here for a week when we return to Antigua next year!

Casual and quiet. Perched above the bay, so great views and great breezes. The decor is a combo of south asia and the caribbean. The result is a lovely stay from a great hostess. Excellent breakfast.

Amazing gem on Antigua!

Amazing place in a great location, spent 7 nights there and had the most wonderful experience. Alberta the owner lives on site and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Lovely breakfast, breathtaking views, glorious amenities and brilliant location. There are gorgeous beaches and restaurants nearby, car hire recommended. Arca Villa has been designed by Alberta thoughtfully and tastefully, you will have the use of the large lounge and long balcony when you stay here. Would thoroughly recommend staying here when in Antigua;

Small, quaint, quiet, with an amazing harbor view. Alberta, the proprietor was very friendly and available and personally prepared an outstanding breakfast each morning. We highly recommend this property.

The property has a lovely view over Falmouth Harbour. Alberta is a great host, she will share her local knowledge of nearby beaches, restaurants etc. The bed was comfortable and the air con adequate. Breakfast offers fruit, yogurt, cereals, bacon and scrambled eggs and breads/toast. The property is on a steep hill, there are steps down from the car park to the property, steps from the rooms to the breakfast and balcony area and more steps down to the pool making the property unsuitable for guests with any mobility problems. It is difficult to find the property, especially after dark as there are no signs to direct you to it, and it is accessed by a steep hill with many potholes in the road (very common in Antigua). A map app will assist in finding the property.

Amazing

Alberta is an amazing host! My boyfriend was rowing over the Atlantic Ocean and arrived in Antigua and Alberta made us an amazing Foccacia!! She gave us tips and recommandations for things to do and where to eat. The place has an amazing location on the top of the hill with an incredible view. The only thing was maybe that it was no restaurants within walking-distance and we werent able to cook in the kitchen, which we of course understand, so we had to take taxi to find something to eat. The common space areas was really cosy and we really felt like home!! Would definitely recommend everyone going to Antigua to stay here!

The property is perfectly situated in the hills above English Harbour. The views are stunning. Alberta is a gracious and kind host who is extremely knowledgeable about the island. This is a great place to stay in Antigua.

Our host Alberta at Arca Villa and B&B was absolutely lovely and the accommodation simply fabulous. We were so relaxed, we slept in more than an hour past our first breakfast! But Alberta was so gracious and forgiving and never made us feel badly for even a moment! Arca Villa is perched on Sugar Loaf Hill with 5 star views of Falmouth Harbour and Nelsons Dockyard. Every single one of Alberta's restaurant, drinks and beach recommendations were spot on. Her breakfast is incredible, the pool awesome - we can't say enough positive things about Arca Villa and Alberta. Be aware. we had a little trouble finding it - so print off a google map in advance of leaving home. If you find the house with the sugar mill in the yard, look to your right and go up a very steep driveway.

Villa with a view

Alberta made us so welcome at her beautiful home. Stunning view from the balcony and swimming pool, plus an attractive bedroom with four poster bed, made it the perfect place to stay.

Most Pleasant Surprise

We (2 married couples in late 50's) had 3 days here in March and wished we had booked for a little longer. A little tricky to find in the hills but once there the accommodation was excellent and because it is built into the side of a steep hill, the balcony terrace provides fantastic views across Falmouth harbour. A stylish place which just made you feel instantly relaxed. The lady owner was charming and very accommodating, she simply gave us the run of the house, and although it is only B&B, she gave us use of a large fridge and was quite relaxed about us using the kitchen to prepare drinks and snacks. The pool area was also nicely presented within a lower level terrace with comfortable lounge seats and good shelter from the sun. A 3 minute drive to the harbour and beach. Couldn't fault it

This was by far the best b&b I had in my life. Excellent quality of what was offered, great company of fellow travelers and a perfect host.

Two Words: Wonderful Vacation!

We had a really wonderful vacation @ Arca Villa! We were lucky to experience a relaxed carribean island, comfortable accomodation in a beautiful house with remarkable views, and most important - our lovely host Alberta :) She welcomed us like old friends, prepared a delicious breakfast in the morning and took her time to give us all kinds of advice on where to go and how to organize our day and evening on the island. Dear Alberta, yout help is highly appreciated!! Hope to visit this land of sun and fun soon again :)
