Decent room - only one night

Cannot recommend this place enough. The location is great (easy to get to and there’s an amazing coffee shop across the street), the rooms are so clean and cozy, and the owners are so kind and accommodating. We were coming from the mainland and were checking in later than office hours. I had messaged them days prior and they had been more than willing to work with us to ensure a smooth check in. They even called us an hour or so before we were slotted to arrive to make sure we knew how to find our keys!

Interacted with 3 staff members all of whom went above and beyond for friendliness and service.

Called up to book a room for my wife as she was caught in the extreme weather and having to stay in the car. They checked the room and got it cleaned early and got her checked in and out of the weather so quickly. They were excellent to her and our pup she was staying with. So friendly and helpful have stayed there before will stay again.

Amazing family management . They always go above and beyond . They want your stay to be an excellent experience. The beds are the beyond Comfortable and cleanliness is Exceptional. Very much appreciated with a nice Lighting at night when you need a brisk walk with or without your pet🌻😃

The entire experience was really good!! Nice friendly staff that made you feel very welcome. The room was very clean and quiet. It was very affordable, compared to many in the area. Right beside a "Rickie's all Day Grill", which is very convenient. Would definitely recommend this spot and would for sure stay here again!!!

The bed and pillows were comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. Would have enjoyed a cup of coffee:)

Amazing Staff.

One of the cleanest and friendliest owners and all staff are amazing. They make you feel at home .The beds So amazingly comfortable. The staff always have went above and beyond any other places I’ve stayed with a pet. I can’t say enough about this motel . The housekeeping young fellow is awesome!

Very clean, affordable

I don’t feel like any corners were cut, for the reasonable price. The functionality along with cleanliness of the building is well done. I enjoyed my two days stay there. Thank you to the people that worked there.

Super kind staff!

Very nice upgraded motel. The highway may sound loud from the parking lot, but the upgraded windows keep the sound out at night. It's also single floor, meaning no noise from rooms above.

Wonderful place to stay. Friendly, clean, comfortable, can't say enough about Arbutus Grove, highly recommend.

It was very good - met all our requirements

Nice landscaping and connected to Smittys for food take out or delivery. Cozy and clean. Like the soap/shampoo dispensers. On a busy road but sleeping wasn’t a problem. Did hear neighbors at 6:30am. Turned off AC. Too cold. Friendly staff. Did have to ask for towels.

The property is owned by a friendly couple, room is cleaner than many 4 or even 5 stars hotel. The air-conditioning is very quiet and I couldn’t hear any noise overnight, Ricky’s is right next door and they do room service so which is a great option since there’s not a lot restaurants around. We would definitely stay there again if we go to Parksville again.

The Rosebud could not have been better.

This motel is great value for money. The managers were very friendly, helpful and took care of our every need. This is not a fancy resort hotel but a simple bed to lay your head when on the road. Quiet and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was perfect. We would be happy to stay here again!

This was an unexpected gem of a motel. Nice room, clean and comfortable. It was bright and spacious. Great coffee shop across the street. Ricky,s restaurant delivers to your room.

Great, but would like it even more if we could walk to more of Parksville.

Super CLEAN overall with a well designed bathroom with thoughtful extras. Comfortable bed and the best ever pillows! Unique concrete block walls for soundproofing between rooms! Only concern is:..... that as 'light sensitive' sleepers,...in summer....we desperately needed blackout pull drapes. Otherwise,, thanks for a wonderful stay. We will come back.

Exactly as expected.

We did a quick 1-night stay while on a family vacation. It's what you'd expect from a small motel - beds, tv, tub bathroom, mini fridge/freezer, restaurant nearby. It was clean and had everything we needed for a rest. Downside is it didn't have any real eating area in the room so tough if you bring food in (though there were picnic tables on the lawn) . The bathroom was also quite cramped for us and kind of a DIY reno situation. All in all, not super for families, but after spending the night before camping, this was a welcome oasis.

The price was extremely fair and the owners were terrific. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

This is our third time staying here and we have always had excellent service. Staff always friendly and helpful. Rooms quiet and clean with comfy beds. Coffee and restaurant a stones throw away too. We'll be back.
