Old Quarter hotel

Nice hotel in the Old Quarter. The staff is very nice and has breakfast too.

It’s Okay for an overnight short period of time to get some rest and go. It’s in good location convenience for everything. The room is very small just enough for a queen bed place tightly to one side wall, no walking space for get out the bed.

Reception staff excellent

Very nice hotel, with convenient location to many attractions. Walking distance to just about everything. Staff is very polite and helpful. I Definitely would come back.

We stayed 3 nights during our trip. The hotel is in a good location. Just a short walk to the places you want to be. The staff treated us like old friends. We appreciated all their advice, recommendations and assistance. The rooms are spacious and clean. We loved the fact that the large family room had separate beds! The breakfast room was cozy and food was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Good stay

Great location. Nicely priced and very comfortable.

Very good location, near good food, and places of interest - Train Street, Temple, and the place to board the bus to Sapa. Hotel service was great, we stayed for 2 days, left for Sapa, deposited our luggage; and returned to the same hotel on the 5th night. They remembered our needs and also helped us to put our luggage to the assigned room. They also help to arrange to and fro minivan service from airport to hotel. Highly recommended.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been well taken care of by the staff. Rooms are comfortable, location great and the breakfast starts your day off right.

Great Location and Great Service

Hotel is strategically located near the lake and Old Quarter with lots of great restos and coffee shops. Hotel staff are really nice and very polite. They are very eager to help you on everything.. from your itinerary to hotel services. Highly recommended!

Really nice

If you drive the car to the hotel it'll a little bit of challenge for car parking. Be careful with some people help you to park the car in front of the hotel even they are not hotel staff and they will illegally charge money for the car parking.

Great overall

The hotel staff was excellent. They all spoke English and helped me with a problem with a tour. The breakfast was also very good, good buffet selection, including one entree included. Good location as well, near the north end of the lake, in the old quarter.

Bedrooms are simple but clean, which is what we were hoping for given the price. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was amazing! They cook you up what you request from the menu and make you fresh juices. A lot of thought and care goes into it. We received excellent service, a special thank you to the breakfast staff on the morning of 14/11/22! :)

Family friendly hanoi

The Aquarius hotel was quiet which is rare in the centre of hanoi. Our room was large and clean and the service was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble

We only stayed here for one night to catch the train the day after, so I think the room worked for us, however the room didn't have a window which they didn't mention on the website either. The rest was ok, there is elevator in the building, and the staff are helpful.

Good size room, view, custom breakfast, polite and friendly staff, and reasonably priced. Would stay here again.

Clean & Friendly

Exceptional stay. Traveling with two friends (three of us total). It was nice to have 3 beds. We stayed at this hotel after having stayed elsewhere in Hanoi and it was much cleaner, brighter, and more spacious. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Nice location. For the price, this was a great find.

Excelent service, we arrived early and staff was very attentive and welcoming, stored out luggage until check in time and gave us recommendations on what to do. Staff always asks about our day and remembered our itinerary. Highly recommend this hotel

The location was great - lots of eateries around, shopping and walking distance to the Hoan Kiem Lake. I like the natural light that comes into the room from the windows & looked out into the greenery of trees. The cleaning ladies do good works in keeping the place clean. All the staff were very friendly, specially the 2 ladies (sorry forgotten to get your names) at the reception were very helpful. Thanks for preparing breakfast for our early flight out.

Not a restful night

I’m surprised the ratings for this hotel are as high as they are! The only window in our room looked into the hallway. The blinds weren’t at all sufficient in blocking out the hallway light, so it was difficult to sleep. The walls were extremely thin, so we spent much of the night listening to our neighbors talking. There was also some kind of hammering or construction late into the evening and first thing in the morning. Some of the wall power outlets didn’t work, and neither did our phone. We’re happy we only had one night at this hotel!

Clean room

Wonderfully friendly and welcoming staff are what really make this hotel special. It is situated right in the. Entre of the old quarter near Hoan Kiev Lake.

Nice, clean and comfortable triple room. Relatively quiet compare with other hotel we stayed in old quater. We only stayed one night here. Everything was good except. The smoke alarm keep making noise due to low battery (?) At 4th floor. Corridor light too bright to our liking. No ventilation in bathroom too. The front desk workerwas excellent, geniunely willing to help but next time if you wish to pack breakfast for hotel guest who choose to leave earlier,, kindly keep it in disposable lunch box, looks presentable and nice. Please don't mixed the banana, eggs and bread all in one plastic bag. Many thanks to all and when my wife is happy, I am happy too.

The staff was great. But the room was very noicy and didnt had a window. The picture on de website gives a diffrent view on the real situation. Also was there a window next to the stairs inside the building. We litteraly saw people walking on the stairs so it didnt gave us privacy.

Think carefully

I just stayed for 1 night and then fly back home but it was terrible because of the noise surrounding the hotel. The noise from construction is 24/24 !! It made me Crazy. I couldn’t sleep all night. Think carefully before booking, if you can stand with crazy noise then it’s fine. Overall, the hotel is clean, convenient location but that noise from construction destroyed everything. Imagining that crazy sounds at night till 2AM, stop a few hours then start at 6AM .... really CRAZY and UNACCEPTABLE!

We LOVE the hotel staff. They are very friendly and want to make sure you have a good experience. They allowed us to wait in the lobby for our flight two days after we checked out for a Ha Long Bay Cruise. We were thankful! The neighboring building was under constructions so sadly those sounds did impact our sleep. They went from about 7am to 5pm. Other than that, the breakfast was good and the room was clean.

Friendly Staff

The staff are amazing. Everyone is so friendly. The hotel is clean. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is very good. They will help with everything including setting up Tours and airport pick up and drop off ( extra charge). We were able to leave our luggages there while we shopped around after checkout.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel and had one of the greatest hospitality. Very friendly staff who constantly recommends nearby attractions ,food and accommodates any other request. Breakfast was good and overall the room was clean and pleasant. On my 2nd stay my room was upgraded to deluxe for free . Will definitely come back to this hotel on my next trip to Hanoi.

We had a great stay here, the room was very clean and you could tell they put in the extra effort to make you feel welcome. It was located close to everything we needed so we could just walk. The staff were so friendly and helped us with anything they could.

The staff is really friendly. Here are a few points to help others make the right decision 1. Breakfast is great for the price. It's small but really good 2. All staff is really friendly 3. Aircons are really old so you might need fans if you aren't so fond of heat 4. The surrounding area has loads of shopping and food options 5. Halong bay buses all leave from here so it's one of the best areas to stay Overall we are really happy with the stay except the aircon which made our sleep miserable. It was fixed on the last day.

Clean hotel right on the coffee street

Hotel was very clean and comfortable, it looks like it's just been renovated. Guide told us that we're right on the coffee street and the hotel was just a stone throw away from the famous Giang egg coffee place. Airport transfer was also reasonable. Pity that we only stayed a night here. Would definitely stay again if we go back to Hanoi.

Great staff, central location

The staff at the Aquarius were fantastic - always ready with a smile and happy to provide assistance. Our room was good - exactly as shown on the website, clean and great for what we needed during our trip to Hanoi. The Aquarius is within walking distance to everything (depending on how much you like to walk - we walked to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum) or you’ll easily find a taxi right outside. Loved the towel art that greeted us when we checked in :) Note: There is very loud karaoke nearby - it seemed to shut down around 10pm(ish) so don’t despair. We’ve learned to travel with ear plugs but did not need to use them at the Aquarius!

Perfect home base

Great room, friendly staff, close to everything. The perfect home base. I planned my tours over the internet with hotel and they did an awesome job. Airport pick up was great. They also provide a great breakfast. Made us feel welcome and at home. Shower is nice with lots of hot water. Saw no bugs anywhere and the bed was very clean.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of the city. The staff are very helpful and attentive and went out of their way to help us with various bookings, even after we had check out of the hotel.

Even though I checked in late at night, I was welcomed with a smile. Also, the room was kept clean and comfortable. Although it is located in the old town, it is quiet at night and convenient to go anywhere.

Top hotel in het centrum van Hanoi. Ontbijt met uitgebreide keuze. Goede wasservice! Enkele punten in de kamer kunnen beter onderhouden worden, maar zeer goede prijs kwaliteitverhouding.

Hotel correcto para pasar la noche. La habitación, incluido el baño, estaba limpia. Lo unico malo es que era bastante pequeña y no habia casi espacio. Ademas, tenia una ventana que daba directamente al pasillo de las habitaciones, hecho que no daba ninguna intimidad, a parte que la cortina no tapaba bien la luz que entraba. La situación es muy buena, al lado del lago Hoan Kiem y cerca de todo tipo de comercios

there are rats on the ceiling of the 5th floor. i can enjoy it, but who can not enjoy it should not stay on the 5th floor.

消毒かも知れないが、部屋の臭いが強い。タオルは黄ばんでいて、気持ち良く使えない。朝食は質素だが不満は無い(個人差が大きいと思う)。スタッフはにこやかでファミリアス。とても良い。

　チェックイン時の対応からすべて問題なし。 　子供2人との3人でダブル＋シングルの部屋に宿泊。 　部屋は普通のひろさできれい。水回りもきれいでバスタブなしのシャワーも問題なし。頼めばスタッフは対応してくれる。見た目の豪華さやステータス以外は備えている。 　部屋数が少ないのか、食堂が狭く、朝食の並べられている品数もやや少ない。この値段帯のホテルは朝食時に無料で温かい料理（オムレツや麺など）をオーダーできるので、それほど気になりませんが。 　旧市街の中にあって立地も便利。週末だったため、ナイトマーケットの音楽が部屋の中まで聞こえてきましたが、普段の町中の音は静かです。
