One night stay on our road to Sydney clean and functional

Will always look for this place in the future, had everything even a washing machine

What a great find, I was in a 2 bedroom apartment, I only needed 1, it had a full kitchen, living and dining area with a seperate toilet and bathroom with a2 Washing machine, The lady that checked me in and out was lovely, other customers in the lobby spoke highly of the place as well, best thing was it was super quiet ,

The garden view provided privacy and the property was in a great location for exploring around town.

Friendly service, comfortable beds, hit showers

We stayed in one of the townhouses. The complex is good but with a bit of TLC could look a lot nicer (pressure wash and paint). The townhouse was large, fit two small kids well. Lots of small maintenance issues, toilet that would take 30 mins to refill, fan knob broken, curtains broken, blind handle broken, can’t shut 2nd bedroom door as the bed was in the way. But overall it was comfortable, clean and we enjoyed our stay. Kids loved the pool area which was well maintained too. Would stay again.

The hotel met most of our needs, however, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The room was comfortable and provided the essentials, but it felt like some details were overlooked that could have made the experience much better. One of the most notable issues was the lack of sheer curtains. The room had large windows, which allowed plenty of natural light, but without sheer curtains, we felt exposed. Anyone outside could easily see into the room, making privacy a concern. While there were heavier curtains for the evening, during the day, we would have appreciated the option of sheer curtains to enjoy the daylight without sacrificing privacy. Another challenge was the lighting in the room. There were only two lamps in the bedroom, which provided minimal light. The space felt dim, especially in the evening when we needed better lighting for reading or getting ready. Additional lighting or lamps in the living room would have helped brighten up the space and made it feel more inviting. The bathroom was generally well-maintained, but the shower head was too large for the shower space. It felt awkward trying to adjust the angle, and water ended up splashing out of the shower, making a bit of a mess. A smaller or more appropriately sized shower head would have been a better fit and improved the overall showering experience. On the positive side, the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient for exploring the city.

Fantastic accommodation will definatley stay again

An older property so a little dated and tired. Clean and functional however and close to large supermarket complex. Owner very pleasant and helpful.

Our stay was good although we were unaware that there seemed to be permanent residence living there.

Little Gem

This place is an absolutely gem and the owners are very friendly and very helpful. There is a shopping centre right across the road and take away places are very close as well

Comfortable, clean, maintained. Heated pool was heavenly. Everything in working order which is rare. Conveniently located. Quiet grounds. Lovely management. Highly recommended.

Clean, Spacious and Comfortable

Surprisingly large with a full suite of amenities, this is an excellent choice of accomodation that makes for a comfortable trip. There are plenty of facilities close by which makes the location all the more attractive

It was a very clean stay. Our garden room was away from the road and we did not get any street noise. I was not so happy with the inter-room noise, however. We could hear every word from the woman next door on her phone late at night, as well as her TV from our main bedroom which was not conducive to sleeping well.

We’ve stayed in a few different rooms at this accommodation site over the years. It’s off the highway, it’s close to shops, it’s a neat, clean, quiet place to stay for quick stopovers on your way north.

Had everything we needed - kitchen, washing machine, pool, games room & friendly owners

It was ok, did not live up to 8.6 rating.

Pool was supposed to be heated, the catch is it is solar heated so if not sun, not heat. Place was pretty average for 8.6 rating. It was very close to theplaza which I guess is a plus if you were staying longer.

The aqua villa is a beautiful resort with the friendliest people you could meet running the resort. It was very easily accessible, very welcoming staff and the rooms are fantastic. We will definitely be back again very soon.

Property was clean and tidy, nothing flash but everything was just fine.

The location was close to our friends nearby, and not far from the beach and the big shopping mall. The comfort - beds, pillows, sofa etc - all comfy. Lack of noise. The friendliness and helpfulness of the owners (whose names were Cathy and Eddy I think.

The staff communicated well, the room was clean and had every need.

Great stay at Aqua Villa

Aqua Villa Resort is in a perfect location for access to shops and the beach. Check in was simple and management extremely helpful throughout my stay. Would highly recommend

Aqua Villa was clean, comfortable and close to everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed and more. We look forward to staying here again. Fantastic couple of days away.

Good value

Good for a couple of nights. Clean and good value. Very close to shopping centre. Bonus having a games room with table tennis and pool.

The villa was a great size, beds were comfy and the entire property is very well maintained.

Could be good but service poor

This could be a good place, got good bones and setting, but our townhouse was a little tired in some respects. Check-in was pretty ordinary, lady at front desk was not very welcoming and not happy at all we couldn't check in before 8pm (we had a 4 hour drive after kids sport and couldn't get there any earlier). Tried to make it easier for her - do you want to leave a key out in a safe place? No we don't do that was the tearse reply. Really, i'm giving you money and trying to help here! Whatever.

I like the facilities in our unit, the pool and surrounds were great. Could have been cleaner.

The property is in a perfect position with near by shopping center within walking distance and public transport

When booking I specifically booked a 2 Bedroom Garden Villa as we needed ground floor bedrooms. On our way to the hotel I received a phone call saying “where are you we want to go home” this was at 4:30pm when check in didn’t close till 8pm the woman on the phone was extremely rude. Upon getting to the hotel I went to the front desk where the woman from the phone was about to leave. When booking in she said “we’ve given you an upgrade” I asked if the upgrade was still ground floor and she said “no and we have nothing left” at this point we would have left however there was no accommodation left in Coffs that would suit our needs. During the booking process I specifically asked for the single beds to be joined. This also was not done. The accomodation was run down and needed renovations. There is also a $60 fee if you don’t take out your own rubbish or wash and dry your own dishes. This was not stated anywhere prior to booking. All in all a negative experience.

Convenient location for the event we were attending

Our family had a wonderful one night stay with an upgrade to a townhouse. Everything was perfectly clean and all amenities were perfect including a everything you need to cook a BBQ. Would highly recommend.

The garden villa was a nice self-contained unit, the pool and games room were very popular with the kids. The managers were lovely people.

The pool was lovley. The shower wasnt, the fan didnt work, the tv reception was horrible. The lady at check in wasnt all that nice

Far from my favourite...

Apartment was old and tired. Multiple signs warning us to ensure we’d locked all doors before bed and not left anything outside after dark was helpful, but also got me thinking about what event/s prompted the need. Barbed wire on fencing around the perimeter added to thoughts on safety (or lack thereof?!) The number of smokers in the enclosed garden area meant the kids and I copped a lung full of smoke whenever leaving the apartment or having our windows open - this was unpleasant. Pool area was great though and well maintained - kids had fun in that space.

We really liked having the pool. The room was simple but had what we needed. Not quite a resort but satisfactory. It was one of the cheapest places we found and so it suited most of our needs.

Plenty of space, close proximity to Coffs harbour attractions, restaurants & shopping centre. Fantastic swimming pool close to villas for easy supervision of kids & also games room. Easy check in/out & parking.

The pool was really lovely and well maintained. The staff were friendly. The room was spacious and clean. We loved it and would liked to have stayed longer.

A spacious, well appointed unit overlooking the pool. Kitchen has all you could need. Very comfortable beds. Fabulous shower pressure with plenty of hot water. Convenient short walk to Park Beach Plaza. Friendly, accommodating staff. Plenty of parking. Would have no hesitation returning. :)

Holiday Sanctuary

We had a lovely, clean, well appointed unit that was clearly well maintained and regularly cleaned and serviced. I would not hesitate recommending or staying there again

Our family's second time staying here. We got a two level duplex this time which was much nicer than an one level one. Rooms were clean, towels are clean. One blanket, however; had blood like stains. Overall was nice. Will come back again.

Great spot for our family trip, and we liked the layout of the unit too. 9.30am check out was a noticeable half hour difference to usual but definitely workable. Would be happy to stay there again and recommend to others.

Loved that our townhouse overlooked the pool so we could watch the kids from our townhouse outdoor area.

First time for everything!

First time I've ever been required to remove my own rubbish, or face a possible debit of $60 on my credit card! Not a good vibe at all.

The property has wifi 👍 the pool was the best part of the stays and the bed was ok . With out listening a huge list of things they could fix and improve on I don’t think I would come back as we have stayed in quite a few properties in the same area that are fantastic

Bathroom has mould in shower. Looks like hasn’t been cleaned properly in months. The pool area could stay open a bit later during summer. Was a great spot for the kids as could sit on verandah and watch them in the pool. Apart from bathroom was clean and comfortable.

I like how its near to shops, the beach, the pub and other cafes in the area. The villa was clean and well maintained will definitely go back here.

every unit was very quit and independent. Only thing which I didn't like was we have AC only in one room. There was fan in every room, but they were ceiling fan and ceiling was very low.

Did not like anything in particular, it is just ordinary, run of the mill accommodation. Gentleman who booked me in was not over friendly and there was no telephone in my room.

The accommodation and facilities were fine. We found the unit spacious comfortable and quiet. The only problem was several days after we had returned home we were included in several group emails between the mgmt of the villa and some club members who appear to have been staying at the resort around the same time. I think it was very unprofessional of the management to disclose my private email to strangers. Didn’t go away to get spam and privacy evaded so will be complaining direct to the company.

Very convenient place to stay, close to shop and beach. Just service made me upset, no room service when back next day.

Clean unit

Funny toilet arrangement. Toilet had a sliding door which was difficult to close. Shower has no door just a curtain. We were two couples so had to have one using the toilet and shower facilities for one time. Close to shops and facilities was ok for one night stay. The unit was clean.

Had a great family time .all the family were there.

The property was clean, in a good location and communication was good. We booked for 5 people and although the unit could accomodate 6 people, it was really only comfortable for 4 people. The sofa bed was in poor condition to sleep one person so definitely wouldn't accomodate 2 people it really needs to be replaced and there was also no additional blankets or pillows which were also needed by the person sleeping down stairs as they were cold all night. I would recommend the Aqua Villa Resort but only for 4 people with they way the bedding currently is.
