Beautiful Hotel, Great Location
Stunning hotel and was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The location is close enough to walk to some of Athen’s tourists spots, but is located extremely close to the Psyrri neighborhood that has some great restaurants and nightlife. Would highly recommend!
Great place to stay, good location.
The staff was beyond great.
Perfect place to stay in Athens!!!!
The staff are all warm and very accommodating. Thank you everyone
Super friendly staff breakfast was good very small room not the best location, although walking distance to some attractions and shopping
I liked the centrality and walkability to most points of interest as a visitor. The cleaning was good and every day there changes of sheets and towels. What I didnot like is a total disregard and sensitivity to "noise" in the Hotel. They scheduled the cutting of a palm tree that has been in the middle of the Hotel during the holiday season which started at 8.30 am and went on for 3-4 hrs. The guests were loud and played loud music with doors wide open. When asked to act on these examples of extreme noise generation the reception was only able to say we have informed the management. The other guests were expected to tolerate the noise.
like getting to your hotel but had to drive through the Bronx first it seems graffiti got a little out of control
Large room with amazing balcony and view.
Awesome place everything was close to the hotel
The location is perfect, not too far from restaurants but far enough for quiet nights. Very safe neighborhood in my opinion, would walk by myself every morning. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast was great every morning, with lots of variety. Overall, 10/10 experience.
Great experience overall
Short walk to lots of good dining options. And a short walk to the metro. We enjoyed our stay. Pretty good place. Heard car alarms going off at night sometimes outside but nothing too sketchy otherwise.
The Apollo Palm Hotel is an oasis of calm, very near to all the main attractions of Athens. We adored our stay, thank you.
This hotel was located close to restaurants and shopping but the rooms were so small there was nowhere to put your luggage. The bathroom had no shower door so water was everywhere. AC is controlled by the front desk so we had to ask them to control it but we had to discover this on our own. The halls open to the courtyard and cigarette smoke is everywhere. We even think the staff were smoking in the halls. Breakfast was lacking food. Need oat milk, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, smoothies etc. The hotel has many stairs amd carpets.on top of tiles so its hard to move your suitcase. Staff don't offer to help. There are fridges in the rooms but no microwaves so its hard to heat leftovers (staff said there were no microwaves on site at all).
Pros: The hotel's location was great, had a beautiful backyard with gorgeous trees. 2 minutes walk to the most happening area in Athens, lots and lots of restaurants, some with live music. Walking distance to Acropolis and so many other historic sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent! Cons: The hotel needs some renovations. The lobby carpet was worn out terribly, some stairs were patched!! and the door getting outside looks really bad and needs paint. We had the most horrible view from our room which was a parking lot across the street plus some half-demolished properties. We preferred to close our curtains completely our entire stay. In our room, the carpet was very dirty, we didn't even like to take off our shoes after a long walking day, The closet was behind a curtain, no doors! the safe box which was covered with a mini curtain was not attached to the place, just to the outlet, even a kid can pull it out and carry it!! The hotel needs remodeling and updating.
We would use this hotel again.
Staff is fantastic, especially Thomas, lovely gentleman and fun to chat with. Service is fast and always with a smile. Breakfast is wonderful and plentiful with amazing smiley staff. Hot eggs and a selection of cheeses, delicious bacon and OMG the Greek baked goods/ pastries. If you want to sleep in and relax, open till 11 am! Although TBH I wish it started earlier, as I missed it twice due to leaving early for tours. Regardless, they prepped something for me to go and allowed me to grab coffee quickly before leaving and a snack. The hotel is 10 mins walking from a major metro station (Monastiraki) and a ton of beautiful cafes and restaurants. Most of all the hotel has such a sweet vibe, bohemian yet chic and laid back without being pretentious. The atrium is stunning and lovely to hangout and sip drinks or coffee. Was very upset that I didn’t know the rooftop bar will be closed for the season but there is a handful within a couple of blocks. Definitely recommend and coming back! Only knocked off points for cleanliness because the carpets was old and dingy and had a few gross stains, and tbh, the ONLY thing bringing down this rating. Thanks Apollo Palm and see you again soon!
Very nice property. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning.
Very nice facility. Quite. Rooftop bar.
It’s an older property with an okay breakfast down stairs. It’s fine but there are a bunch of better places with rooftop breakfast with views of the acropolis. That said it’s a very happening neighborhood, and staff were super nice.
Everything was WONDERFUL!!!!! Daily breakfast was delicious. The rooftop bar was closed unfortunately. The staff was so nice and very helpful. My only "complain" is that there is no dresser/drawers to store your clothing. That is just me being petty!!! You will be so glad you stayed here, we did for almost 2 weeks and enjoyed being able to walk everywhere-eat, drinks, shopping and people watching!
Everything about this place and staff was perfect. I intend to return to this hotel
Great front desk staff
Pros: good location, excellent breakfast and a decent sized room. Cons: breakfast hours 8-11 am , so it is not convenient for people who go on day trips or to catch an early flight home. The rooftop terrace has a great view of the Acropolis but was closed for the season even the temperature was in the 70s. Total nonsense!
My husband and I stayed at the ApolloPalms hotel for 3 nights in October 2024. We booked through Expedia and during booking, saw the option to choose a junior suite, which we booked. We were very disappointed when we checked in. What we were assigned was not a suite, but rather a handicapped room with no furniture other than a king sized bed and a footstool. There was no dresser, etc. The shower was a roll in shower for handicapped purposes and water blasted all over the room when we used the shower. Additionally, the drain was partially plugged, so when we used the shower we continually needed to shut off the water or it ran all over the bathroom, and extended into the carpet in the bedroom. Completely not satisfactory. The pictures of junior suites on Expedia showed a lovely bathroom with a nice counter as well as chairs in the room. Not so in the room we were assigned. We went down to the front desk and asked for a different suite. We were told they had no other suites and that the handicapped room we were in was a suite. We asked three times for a change of room during our stay and we were not accommodated. Guide to any potential guests at this hotel: do not book the junior suites! Final word, we stayed in this area of Athens 3 times during this trip. There are plenty of better hotels in the area with much better accommodations and customer service. My suggestion is to book elsewhere.
The last 2 stairs need to be fixed and railing is wobbly. Breakfast is great.
The room, hotel location and service was great! Room was well equipped and clean. The hotel is located within safe walking distance of major attractions and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The rooftop views are amazing. The staff was very helpful with any questions or requests. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Very accommodating, very clean, great breakfast and easy to walk to main part of city.
Wonderful spot in plaka to explore Athens
Amazing stay. Great location with lots of dining and shopping options close by.
Super nice staff. Very helpful. Nice clean room
The property was fine. The neighborhood was not the best. The biggest problem was we had to cancel our reservation and they will not give us our money back. They to give us credit for two nights like we’re gonna come back to Greece from the United States for two nights, My husband was admitted to the hospital upon our return from our cruise and we were not able to go to the hotel. We canceled our reservation. It’s a shame they won’t give us our money back.
Located at a very convenient to all city places!
A very comfortable hotel in a convenient location.
The carpet was so dirty and needed the cleaning badly. The location is real bad as well. It seems they got this building and converted to hotel that does not look like a hotel. The rooms are so small. They asked for another fees (city environmental charge) that was not mentioned during the reservation at all.
Staff was friendly . Amenities were clean . The room needed a long mirror no matter what grade the room is
Great hotel in a great location.
Great experience. Was a 10 minute walk to montisiraki square, with tons of restaurants, bars and shops along the way. Clean and comfortable room with a great rooftop bar with amazing views. Breakfast had plenty of options to choose from with a very helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice small hotel, great breakfast and roof top view of city
The room was full of mosquitoes. We spend hours trying to kill them all.
**Hotel Review** I recently stayed at this hotel and was happy with the location—it’s Conveniently situated near all the main attractions, it made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. For that, I would give it 4 stars. However, the room was a major disappointment. It was extremely small, with barely any space to move around. The carpet was FILTHY and TORN, I felt disgusted . Worse still, there was only one way to get on and off the bed, which was awkwardly positioned against the wall. If you needed to get up during the night, you had no choice but to roll over your partner to get out of bed. I brought up these issues with the reception, but unfortunately, no resolution or offer of compensation was provided. Overall, I’d rate the room 1 star. The great location can’t make up for the poor quality of the room, and I would hesitate to stay here again.
Great location and fun vibe with easy walking and great dining close by. Staff was helpful and friendly. Loved the Nuxe shampoo etc also.
Great
Really beautiful hotel, fantastic breakfast! The eggs where amazing, plenty of choice from pastries to bacon and sausage.
It's a great hotel with a beautiful courtyard, excellent breakfast, the staff are wonderful and very helpful. The rooftop patio and bar has an amazing view of the Parthenon, at night Parthenon has accent lighting to showcase this amazing and beautiful structure.
Need renovations, rooms dated, carpet dated and stained.
Beautiful view! Within walking distances to everything. Sitting area at the feet of the bed was not functional, fell through it when I tried to sit on, lol. I understand the retro style of the interior decoration but the couch and chair needs to be cleaned or replaced. Otherwise had a great time there
Nice hotel with easy excess to attractions, food, shopping got hotel room right away at arrival, left early next day for airport before the breakfast started, requested for togo, they did but just one cheese sandwich, to eat
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was nice & while it’s conveniently located, it isn’t on a main street so it was quiet. On the cab ride from the airport the driver told us where to avoid around the hotel, and where was safe. We walked in the evening with no concerns. The breakfast had something for everyone. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the Acropolis. Mostly all the staff were super helpful.
Hotel was very nice . Location was close to a lot and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful
Cute hotel in a great location!
Good place to stay when visiting Athens. Closed to historic sites, a lot of restaurants and shops. Recommended.
The room was stark, but the common areas were attractive. I was sent in one direction by hotel staff for dinner and it was dark, scary streets. The other direction had a pedestrian street full of restaurants, just 2 blocks away. Close to 30 minute walk through park to Acropolis. Breakfast needs to start at 7 am (not current 8 am) to allow for tour starts and airport travel.
Accessibility
The hotel and staff were amazing and the entire experience was wonderful, except the location. It felt unsafe to walk around in the evening, especially walking to the block where the restaurants were all located. The hotel and staff and how we were treated was a five star experience.
Lovely boutique hotel, good bars (one on the rooftop with a great view to the Acropolis) another off the central courtyard.
Excellent location for the main attractions. Very professional staff
Hotel is clean lovely staff
Did not have a restaurant as stated. But there were many nearby.
Very modern decor , very clean bright rooms breakfast good . Area is near good value dinning opportunities around corner .
I didn't like the fact that the rooms are very small. Otherwise, clean, safe, and very good service and location.
Lovely property but in a very rundown, rough area
We enjoyed having a drink at the rooftop bar with a beautiful night time view of the Acropolis/Parthenon!
An excellent hotel. Very comfortable room with convenient access to most all attractions and restaurants. The rooftop bar is great.
Don’t get taken in by the gorgeous photos of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar, the rooms are unbelievably shabby with filthy carpets and tiny tiny tiny. The neighborhood looks like a ghetto. The female receptionist at check in was lovely and very helpful, the guy who staffed the desk the next day, not so much. We woke up to a taxi strike in Athens and had to get to the airport, he wasn’t remotely helpful.
The people were so nice. The hotel was excellent the breakfast was superb I will be back
Great stay in the middle of all the action but still in a quiet street. Breakfast was always warm with lots of options. Overall a great stay.
Perfectly positioned for exploring the town. Easy location for catching the hop on hop off bus for the beach. Lovely friendly helpful staff. Room was clean. The roof bar is the highlight of this hotel. What a view ! Would recommend a stay here.
Great location to many little cafes etc. shopping
Very close to all you want to visit in Athens Friendly staff
The area is not the best, but inside the hotel you have everything you need.
Cozy,comfortable and clean !!!
The view of the Parthenon in rooftop bar at night is amazing.
Whilst the location was excellent, we did have a small issue upon check-in where we requested 4x suites. One of the rooms did not look/feel like the photos at all. However, it's in a great location. It's very well priced and breakfast was amazing. The view from the rooftop is pretty special too.
Beautiful stylish hotel in a good, safe location. The standard loft was great for three people, and we loved the vibrant Psyri area with many great restaurants and bars.
Big, clean rooms and great air conditioning
Though the hotel sits in the noisy area , somehow the noise from the street didn’t disturb us at all. 10 min walk to the Metro station. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful , just wish they served it at the awesome roof top terrace! We were not happy with our room mainly because it was ridicuosly small. But the bed was very comfortable! AC was perfect.Receptionists were friendly and helpful.
Very centric and close to most important sites
Property was clean, AC was great, mini fridge was stocked with reasonable crisis, staff was so friendly, and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend.
Athens for 1 night
Lovely hotel in a great location Restaurants nearby Room was very small but for someone that only wanted to sleep there it’s perfect 😀 Id recommend this hotel
The staff was extremely accommodating to us with our check in and check out time and the breakfast was delicious with load of Greek food options for authentic flair. The room was lovely as well
Had a good stay with my family
The room was very Little Tejeré are not for 2 person
Easy check-in, friendly staff, spacious rooms
Nice clean small hotel. Very noisy area at night on the weekend making it difficult to sleep. Air conditioning was sporadic as well.
The room was really tiny and the sink for the bathroom was outside of the toilet/shower area. It was very small and had no Vanity area and was not private at all. The bed was comfortable, but it was tucked into three walls with no way to get out except on one side of the bed. The size and layout was not ideal, but it was high-quality and very clean. luckily we were only staying there one night. The breakfast was very good.
Very clean and new hotel Good courtesy breakfast Close to all the attractions
Great location walking distance to iconic points. Rooftop is another plus. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Well Located close to restaurants and bars. But blocks around hotel were kind of trashy
The buffet breakfast was excellent with many choices. The staff at the front desk very helpful. The staff at the bars was great and exceptional service from th breakfast buffet
The hotel is in a fantastic location for great local restaurants and access to key tourist sights. It’s a stylish property and the staff are generally friendly but the rooms can be tiny so be careful to understand what you are booking. We stayed here twice and had a loft room the first time which was spacious, but a minute city room the second time where we had difficulty moving around our luggage. The carpet is very worn despite being fairly new so makes the property seem more tired than it probably is. On the upside, the roof top bar is fabulous.
Beautiful property with an excellent location, especially if you're looking to tour the greater Athens area. The staff was so friendly & the breakfast was tasty! I would definitely stay here again!
Incredible breakfast and amenities at Apollo Palm. Would absolutely love to stay again!
The staff and the room were exceptional. The rooftop bar has a great view of the Acropolis and the included breakfast had a huge array of choices. It's a bit tough to find if you're not used to reading Athens maps, and the Psyrri area has seen better days, but this hotel was a great bargain. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely property Off the beaten path in a not so great neighborhood If I were 25 again I wouldn’t have minded but too far from the Center of Athens. The surrounding neighborhoods was not great ! Aside from that it was a great stay
Though area looks scary, its actually not and is a very short walk from cafes, the Agora, and Acroplis area
A modern hotel very close to metro station , 2 min walk. Very clean, and the rooms are very spacious. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our stay was more than perfect, highly recommended!
The hotel was clean the service was great the staff helpful. Close to a lot restaurant walkable to the acropolis. For sure I would stay again.
Highly recommend

The staff were incredibly helpful and polite... ruly exceptional at the front desk ....breakfast was great ...the loft room was unique but the stairs were a little steep ...restaurants everywhere
