The property was ideally placed for access to local transport networks to easily get around and see the best of Nice. Due to its location (just across the road) from the beach it was slightly more pricey than I would have liked due to the condition of the property. For examples some light switch covers kept falling off, the sofa bed was dated, and the railing in one of the lifts was very loose/broken, but the location easily made up for it. Staff were friendly enough when we passed but didnt have mich interaction as it is pretty much self service accomodation which worked very well. The size of the studio we had was perfect. We didnt try thebreakfast but it smelt nice every morning. All in all I would happily book this Aparthotel again.
the property is in a nice area with tram transportbclose by or a 40 min walk into central Nice. the apartments are nice with a kitchen area, bathroom and separate toilet. staff are pleasant. the continental breakfast is the same each day. edible but unexciting. there are few restaurants within 20 minutes walk.
The view is gorgeous Old property need renovation
Spacious but smelled
Spacious apartment but had a bad sewer smell combined with occasional cigarette smoke. Parking garage available down the street only.
Bad hotel, rude staff, and very unclean rooms
Bad hotel, rude staff, and very unclean rooms - Nasty smell in rooms - Uncourteous, rude and dishonest staff - Dirty linens and furniture. Unhygienic Stay away from this hotel
The hotel was located close to the airport but far away from the part of town we preferred to be (old town), so it was a long walk to the restaurants. It is across the street from the beach but only some rooms have a few of the sea, ours was on the back of the hotel overlooking other apartments. Check in wasn't easy. Took a while for someone to actually show up at the front desk, we kept calling out, hello but it was a good 7 minute wait. Then she goes through all these rules including the fact we needed to clean the kitchen and take out the trash. I've never been asked to take out my own trash at a hotel. The room was a "studio" with a very tiny kitchen, if you can call it that. More like a wetbar, and the bathroom was so small, you had to step into the shower to get in the bathroom to be able to close the door. A pocket door would be a better solution. Room was clean but dated and worn. Chips in the floor, just looked old but we figured for one night it was fine, as our stay wasn't by choice, our flight was cancelled. Bed was hard and pillows had a strange scent. Down filled maybe. There was a balcony that overlooked the city, which was nice. And breakfast was surprisingly good. Best part was the breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice, croissants, eggs, etc. So, great job on the breakfast. Construction on the floor below and perhaps they're updating. Air condtioner didn't quite cool the room but, I felt safe where the hotel was located and it served it's purpose.
Amazing safety
It was an amazing and comfortable experience for staying and the level of safety is so high even the receptionist is so collaborative. I do recommend to try the staying in
Hôtel très propre, chambres très propres, class et assez rangées. Accueil chaleureux, proximité directe sur la promenade des anglais.
Property as a whole is ok. Front desk lady barely knew any English, communication was very difficult. My bed was broken and I had to fix myself since it was much easier than to try to explain the problem. Furthermore, in the garage recommended by the hotel and listed on Expedia, our rental car was broken into and an expensive drone was stolen. Obviously hotel declined their responsibility. Took us 4 hrs to get a police report, I guess no one FRANCE speaks English. If you don't have a car and can speak French, it's a good hotel, otherwise, be careful!
It was a nice place to stay for a few days based on the price.
Just returned from a 4 night stay - family of 5. Spacious apartment well equipped with lovely sea views. Lovely staff on reception desk made us feel very welcome and very helpful. Arrived 11 am and was able to leave luggage in storage so able to make the most of our first day. Fantastic location on the Promenade de Anglais would definitely recommend and would love to return again.
It was good I would recommend
Wonderful stay
The staff was outstanding. Very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice. It had a small kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator. The location was great. The beach was across the street and the hotel was equal distance to two Tram stops. It’s a 10-15 min ride to the airport and 15 min to the NICE main downtown.
The workers were nice and helpful. The hotel itself was terrible. No room service cleaning unless you pay extra. A toilet room for a child size. The Internet was off and on. Would not stay at this chain again
Roomed smell like smokers were the previous guests. Wi fi is horrible. But the view and location can’t be beat. Overall it’s ‘ok’. Enjoy
Balcony wouldn’t close. They did fix that after first night. Bed very uncomfortable. Poor communication at front desk. Drink dispenser wouldn’t work. In general the room felt dated, not welcoming. Location isn’t great as street at the back of property dirty, not many dining options.
Property needs to be refreshed, although good overall location.
This was perfect for us. We are a family of 5 and were able to get one room to accommodate us all. It is located directly across the beach with cafes, bakeries and markets within walking distance. They had a breakfast every morning and everyone was extremely friendly. The only thing that was missing was beach towels.
The property was very clean and comfortable. It’s in a great location with bars, restaurants, grocery and tram service very close by. The rooftop was nice with chairs and umbrellas, although wish it had a pool. We would stay here again!
We had a great time there and if hopefully in the future go back to nice will stay there again
Location, great Customer service, Safe 👌
Family stay in two sea view rooms.
The staff were friendly and offered advice. They even went to get gluten free bread for the breakfast bar. The rooms were clean, well stocked, and spacious. The sea view rooms had an ample terrace and great views.
Good location, amazing view & great room with kitchen facilities.
i liked the position in front of the sea, we did not like the old interior and rugs worn out..
The hotel is very well located. Specially, if you made objective is the beach. I would’ve given the hotel better review, but I had some strange issue with the billing. I was charged the proper amount on my credit card however, two separate charges appear temporarily on my card, both at the same time at which I checked in. The charges eventually disappear, but the people at the hotel good night. Tell me what they were about. The credit card intern told me that these were temporary charges that should eventually disappear, that I should ask my hotel to clarify.
The view was spectacular. The property was tired and needed work - - tiles were lifting on the balcony. Chipped paint on walls. Bed was comfortable though.
Great location with easy access to beach. Paid parking
We had an amazing time and got a special treat when we discovered the Nice Ironman Race was taking place in front of the hotel! Beautiful to see the athletes instead of cars and trucks!
Not as advertised
better to stay in a hostel than here
Worst aparthotel on the trip. Says in front of beach, rocks as sand. Dirty, very bad breakfast, more than half the staff is rude and not even knowledgeable of the city. Apartment ac weak, have to pay to get clean towels, or clean apartment regardless of length of stay.
great customer service, clean hotel and convenient location
The air conditioner did not work. So hot! The room was very old lots of broken pieces. Very shabby. Bathroom was like a cave. The location was great, and front desk staff very nice, but everything else was in serious need of a major renovation.
Service was great. Location a little noisy from cars but view is very nice
Good location. We (4 people) were there for nearly 8 days: no cleaning. Only 1 extra garbage bag. Only 6 rolls of toilet paper
Great views of the Mediterranean Sea. Can be noisy from traffic, but I anticipated that. The windows block nearly all of the sound from the street. Large, clean apartment.
Good location, but under renovation
Staff were pleasant and helpful, and property had a great location along the English Boulevard. But the property was being renovated, and none of the sea facing rooms were available
Acceptable comfort at a fair price.
This apartment hotel is an okay place to stay. The price was good for the large apartment. Everything in good order. Helpful and very cheerful staff here too. The location is very near the tram line no.2 and there is a supermarket quite near.
Not recommended
I don't like it because there is no house keeping
Very clean spacious apartment. Ours had sea view with balcony which was privately ours but also the roof top terrace was for everybody. Great location with transport at both rear and front of hotel 2 minutes away. Great place to stay.
NOT where you want to stay !
We were there for 5 days. No room service, if you wanted it $20 euro a day !! New towels $5 per day. It got a little chilly at night...no heat. We were told it comed on at the end of November. Parking is not free 13.50 per night euro, and it's 3 blocks away. A good distance. At night the street behind it there are hookers walking, and not a good place to be. There is also a train that is behind it that is very noisy. The place is not clean. Very misrepresented. 1 mile from restaurants and stores.I do not recommend.
Happy Family of customers
We were traveling in a large family group and the Aparthotel Adagio was in a perfect location for us. We had sea view rooms and were easily accessible to the beach and the old town with the tram. The staff at Aparthotel Adagio were helpful and friendly and the rooms were all very clean and comfortable! We would definitely come back if we are lucky enough to get to Nice again someday.
The Staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was well prepared and fresh. The rooms need refreshing and updating.
A large amount of infrastructure and gear missing or broken. Was clearly known by property managers but not actioned. Loved the no smoking signs everywhere but cleaning staff freely smoking anywhere they liked
amazing
amazing
Large apartment with beautiful balcony view. Kitchen has everything you need for a long stay. Great location. Would highly recommend.
Noisy hotel
Nice is a great city. However this hotel is noisy. Even when I turned off the air con there was still a constant loud buzz noise. I asked to move rooms but was moved to a room where I could constantly here the lift. There were also noisy families in the rooms either side of me.
Very comfortable stay.
We were very comfortable in our apartment, with a balcony overlooking the Cote d’Azur and close to the bus stop to go to the Old City. No need to go out for meals if we didn’t want to because we had facilities.
Great position, everyone was friendly and everything you need
Worst place to stay
Worst place to stay on my current trip, staff attitude was very cold and the AC wasn't working, thankfully it wasn't hot, and it wasn't just us other people were complaining about the hotel as well
One of the Best Places to Stay in Nice.
An amusing place right where to want to be on the sea shore with a tremendous view1
Nice hotel
Comfortable stay
Amazing apartment
Spacious apartment facing the promenade...had a wonderful time with kids
Nice staff, Average stay overall
Average in comfort. The staff were exremely nice and helpful. Unfortunately we expeienced a couple of disappointing points during our stay: 1.We saw few insects(like smal coskroaches) in our apartment. The staff was helpful and changed our apartment but we saw a couple of the same insects in the new one as well. We reported it and they said it will be resolved. 2. Wifi in higher floors was not good at all and sometimes we did not have any signal in our apartment. The positive points: Staff,Computer/Printer station in the lobby,Close to the beach(a nice walk to city center during good weather)
Perfect hotel
Great location, fantastic room, friendly and helpful staff
Amazing location
Couldn't ask more from this stay, right next to the blue beach and a lovely promenade. Carrefour city store was just a few minutes walk away and plenty of restaurants to spoil you with choices. With Tram 2 line in service, there is a direct tram directly from airport to the doorstep of the hotel, which is very handy. Amazing staff and hospitality. Will visit again for sure.
Great location on Prominade Des Anglais with wonderful views of the coast, passing Cruise Ships and activity on the promenade from our sea view balcony.
Great hotel
Very nice hotel with excellent location and connectivity.
Perfectly “Nice”
Perfect location for access to the beach, transit and walking to sights and restaurants. All the staff we encountered were delightful and helpful with special mention to Lavinia, who was an angel. The view from our room was perfection. Able to watch the sunrise and sunsets.
Spacious close to beach wonderful staff I would like to rebook my next trip for sure.
Nice Peace
The desk clerk, Anna was amazing!! Room was great - all functional, clean and great view---Get an ocean view it is worth it.
nice view and very close to the beach.
Super Convenient to Nice & Airport, Clean, Communicative Staff, Fabulous View.
We booked a "room with a view," and from there everything just went downhill. We were put in a room that did not only did NOT have a view, but was facing a huge construction zone in the back of the hotel. This was not only an eyesore for a room we book specifically because of this advertised "view," but also incredibly noisy in the wee hours of the morning. 1 am and that construction was still going. Apparently having a balcony is considered view enough for listing on Expedia, which I've called the site and argued against, and they said they would change it. Also, Expedia has informed me hotels under construction have to always state this fact, which Adagio clearly failed to do. I would not have been so angry for this room mishap if this hotel were in a good location, which it is NOT. 40 minute walk under the glaring sun to the Nice city center/Old Ville, which is also literally where all the action happen. We are from NY so very used to walking everywhere, but it's an entirely different thing to have to walk for that long under 100F degree heat. Buses run infrequently and unreliably off-schedule, so yes you can take them, but to rely on them to get you everywhere anytime you want is to not enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Staff was incredibly rude to my husband when he complained about the room we were placed in, told him we could "stay somewhere else." There you go. If you're reading this review, I'm going to HIGHLY recommend you stay somewhere else yourself.
Pleasant stay, but a long way from centre
Adagio apartments are always of a good standard and this was no exception, though showing signs of wear and tear. The staff were always charming and helpful, the studio spacious and well equipped, though the fridge had seen better days and was lacking a couple of hinges and shelves. It is fortunate that the buses stop very close to the hotel as it is a VERY long walk into the town. However, the new tram system, soon to be up and running will also help. The area around the apartments is a little shabby, but there is a small supermarket nearby. The airport bus also stops right outside, just look for Fabron stop.
The views are wonderful, the apartment has everything you need and is comfortable - although it is quite tired. We found all of the staff to be very friendly. We had most dealings though with Vanessa and found her to be absolutely charming and willing to help at all times. If you come out of the Hotel at the back and turn left, there is a very good minimart a couple of minutes walk away. We enjoyed the walk along the prom into the centre of Nice.
Simply brilliant
Simply brilliant, clean and spacious, free parking across the road and roof top views were awesome.
Loved it
This place is great. The view is amazing, very large rooms and the staff is so friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
Great apartments
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room big separate toilet small kitchen no oven or toaster comfy beds. Big balcony with table and chairs paid extra for a sea view well worth it. Bus stop opposite hotel short ride to centre. Would recommend.
Best apartments in Nice!
Very good, ideal location, especially if you enjoy walking. Town and airport equidistant. The apartment was bright and airy with fantastic sea views, the sun terrace on the roof is amazing. Ask Vanessa on reception for the best restaurant in the area, it is three minutes away, and well worth a visit. The traffic noise is negligible when the balcony doors are closed. Well equipped and furnished, plenty of towels and cleaning supplies provided
Location, location, location
Spacious, convenient, if you want it cleaned every day you’d have to pay. Regardless, the view is astonishing for their price! I had a sea view room and never got tired of waking up to a blue Mediterranean Sea! Adagio is not the Negresco or Westminster but is great hotel for the value! Super reccomend it!
Good hotel but far from town, costumer service in the morning was great not so much in the afternoon.
Lovely apartments with a fantastic view
We recently had a wonderful stay at these apartments. It was our first holiday with our 8 month old son. We arrived early and the lovely staff checked us in well before the 3pm check in. The room was great with a wonderful view of the promenade. Very clean and so spacious. Provided in the apartment were plenty of towels , hand wash , shower gel , washing up liquid , dishwasher tablets etc. The location is great too, just outside is a bus stop , walking into the old town takes about 20 minutes or so. Would highly recommend the adagio.
Hotel on the Promenade
This is our second time staying at the Adagio on the promenade. The rooms are really comfortable. The balcony could use a facelift, but you could not beat the view. It’s great having the kitchen, the bed was comfy and the room was spacious. Was it glamorous? No, but it is a good value and the staff is great. I would recommend it to anyone.
All good.
Good Stay.. Nice view
Good location.. Nearby bus stop, convenience stores and pharmacy. Parking space available at a nominal price and is nearby as well. You just get a bottle of water so you may want to carry along with you or buy it at convenience store.
This is a great location, right opposite the beach. Bus stops within one block to go into central Nice (15 min walk) and back to the airport. Good supermarkets and cafes within 2 blocks. Very convenient.
Hotel close to beach, great seaview
This apartment hotel is on the promenade d'anglais, 5.5 Km from airport and 3.5km from Gare Nice ville. Easy access to buses as stops both ways just outside of the hotel. The new tram link when complete goes right behind the hotel. we got what we paid for - a large apartment with separate lounge /kitchenette, separate bedroom, with balcony overlooking the Med. so breakfast every morning on the balcony was a wonderful start to the day. There were 2 pull out sofa beds in the lounge that would have slept another 4 people. The furnishings were basic / functional, nothing plush or luxurious. This is an apartment hotel - there is no room servicing. none of this was other than expected. Staff were friendly and helpful. Desk staff knowledgeable about transport links to other places and were always happy to assist My only negative was that the Wi-Fi in the room was appalling. Even after complaining, it got no better. The only way to get a reliable, strong connection was to go the reception foyer / breakfast room. We were not alone in this view as out neighbours also commented on how bad it was..
nice hotel opposite beach
we had nice suite. good kitchen. huge deck for eating on. nice roof top sun area
Very nice and relaxing days
We loved our 3 days getaway. After busy days in Paris arriving in Nice was perfect. The staff was beyond helpful, everyone willing to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The room was clean, comfortable and with THE perfect view. We definitely will recommend to our friends and will return with our kids.
Nice hotel across the beach. Many buses access.
Nice apt. Suite with nice kitchen equiped. Nice big bath. Recently renovated. Internet is very slow. We enjoy our stay at the Apart hotel Adagio on La Promenade des Anglais.
On the beach!
We booked a family suite and saw they had on site parking. Beware, it's limited and parking during high season is difficult. We ended up paying for parking at a near by garage. They say they have a deal for hotel guests to rent a patio chair on a private beach...no deal. We had to pay full price. We didn't have to stay, but we did because we were there. Great views, walking distance to restaurants, shopping and on the beach.
Lovely hotel in a good spot
Staff were very friendly, hotel right opposite the beach, terrace was lovely, apartment was ideal for 6 people, we had the 'biggest room' we had plenty of space. Would highly reccomend and go back.
Basic and simple
Very basic hotel but with spacious rooms. A 3.5 km walk to City Center but its a lovely walk along the beach boardwalk. Lots of construction in back street of hotel. Parking was expenive and a long walk from hotel.
Beautiful balcony view of the beach.
Family stay in Nice
Old, musty and undergoing renos
Although the hotel staff were super helpful, they couldn't make up for the renos underway, as well as our burnt out lights in our room (albeit, fixed when I reported), and my ripped bed sheet. We overlooked construction as well. Being across from the beach was handy, but beware, the waves are rough and the rocky shore ripped my knees up. I would definitely pay more to stay in a nicer place closer to Rue Jean Medicin.
Location good
Location excellent. We had daily service but that was really bad, the floor was dirty and dusty all the time. Not good cleaning
Excellent location
Great location across from the beach. Friendly bilingual staff. This is my third year stay at this hotel and I plan to come back.
The staff were really friendly, and the room was comfortable, it fitted 6 adults easily
Gorgeous views but creaky beds and elevator
On the plus side: the location is lovely, toward the western end of the Promenade des Anglais so outside the bustle of the main drag, but easily bussable, bikeable or walkable. The sea view from our apartment was beautiful and the kitchen was very convenient. And the concierge who welcomed us was lovely and helpful. However, on the flip side, construction in the hotel was disruptive, with a creaky elevator covered in duct tape that terrified our 11 year-old daughter. The apartment suite looked beautiful when we first saw it, but the sofa beds for the children were hard to set up and then uncomfortable. Do not expect to sleep six adults in the suite that says it sleeps six! And parking was full when we arrived in the evening and we had to fare for ourselves on the street. Overall a manageable home base in Nice but overpriced for value.
Nice hotel close to the beach
Really good service from the staff. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Lovely view from the room. Lots of building work taking place in Nice so was some noise in the daytime but it didn't bother us too much.
Overall, the hotel was ok. Good view but customer service was below expectations.
Great location and value.
This apartment hotel is a great value for the location. Right on he Promenade. Amazing sea views. Well equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer available. Nice and friendly staff who speak English well. Unfortunately the mattress in my apartment was not comfortable. When I entered the room it was very visibly apparent that the mattress sagged. It was also very lumpy. It was clearly quite old or of poor quality. Maybe both. I was very active during my stay and I came back each night quite tired so I still slept well. Also the wifi is free but not good. It was ok for emails and Facebook but forget about Netflix or streaming any video. I would stay here again if they would guarantee me a comfortable mattress.
close to beach.. this is all
The location is great- for the beach. But everything else..bathroom and room were not cleaned properly. We stayed for 3 nights and it was a complete nightmare.
Convenient to all
Good spot. Stayed 4 days. Parking is away from hotel
Good value
Check us in to a twin bed room and wanted €50 to change rooms, as it turned out twin beds gave us both great nights sleep :). apart from this staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is located away from main part of Nice which suited us as we enjoy walking and clocked up 60km during our 5 days. Main part is approx 30 mins walk away. Rooms are fairly small but functional. Overall pleased with this hotel
The location is really good .exellent nice staff. room has everything you need I was cooking all the time for my kids. Some renovations would make this place even better
I would return
I'm no stranger to the Adagio hotel chain. However, this was my first stay at the Adagio Promenade des Anglais. We really liked this place. Is it fancy? It's not the Ritz, but it definitely fit our needs and was better than expected. The apartment room was clean, had a sea view with balcony, was next to a carrfour express, across the street from the water, near public transportation, and the staff was pleasant. I wouldn't say the place is run down, but it could use some minor repairs. My one issue with the place was the larger lift. It would take forever to come up or down. Sometimes it just never came. There is a smaller lift that works fine, but there were six of us (past its capacity). It is possible to walk the promenade down to old town from this location. We did it three times with four kids in tow. We're also accustomed to walking everywhere after living in Europe for some time. The nearest bus stop is basically 50 feet from the front door and we rode that, too (Fabron Musée). The airport is about a 10 min bus ride on bus 98. Housekeeping is optional during your stay. I was a little confused at the wording on Expedia while booking. It's an additional 20€ per day IF you want housekeeping. We skipped the option saving ourselves quite a few €€€. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. Overall, we'd stay again and plan to within the near future.
Vacation in Nice
I stayed with my wife and 2 kids for 6 nights . the Apartment has a double bed for 2 adults , and a sofa bed for 2 . Our room 201 had a terrible smell in the toilet , and we cleaned the toilet our self daily , but apparently its a ventilating or plumbing problem . you will have also to pay 20 EURO to clean the room and change the towels during your stay. Great Sea view. beach is gravel , and you will have to buy your own umbrella and chairs and carry them daily to spend some time on the beach , or pay 25 Euro per person to get the same including some snacks in a nearby beach. A super market is near the Hotel to pick up all what you need. bus station is near the Hotel to go to Cannes , and the opposite one to go to Monaco or anywhere else . From the train station , take bus number 12 till you find the hotel and then step down from the bus , and walk few meters to the hotel.
Great apartments close to beach
Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Had air con that was really great after being out in the heat all day. Roof top solarium was a bonus. Close to beach and shops. Bus service really good and only 6euros to airport. 1.50 anywhere else so would definitely recommend taking the bus.

Amazing location. Great view. Apartment has everything you need.
