Great base for Munich - hotel is clean, staff friendly and close to the underground

Very convenient to the subway (U-bahn), Olympic Park very near for activities and walking. The kitchenette allowed us to cook breakfast, and get a quick start. Quiet, as long as windows are shut (railroad track adjacent to the building). They allowed free early check-in and luggage storage.

Lovely apartment - large kitchen/diner/seating area, lots of storage and a spotless bathroom. Ideal for a couple wanting self-catering accommodation. Just twenty minutes by public transport from the city centre. Great value for money.

Overall a very nice stay, some service issues

Overall we had a lovely stay. The apartment was very clean and cosy. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. It was also very quiet at night. Great location and easy to get around on the U-Bahn. Check in easy and the staff were very nice. Kitchen generally well equipped although small and we didn’t have a spatula which made some cooking difficult. To add to this we would not recommend using the tumble dryer service. We followed instructions and split our load in half. We put a half load in the tumble dryer once, it was still wet, tried again and it was STILL wet! So we wasted €4 and in the meantime the other half of our washing had air dried! I also used the gym (limited to an hour) which was relatively basic but had what you needed although there was nothing to clean the equipment or your hands which is not very hygienic in covid times.

Somewhat clean apartment, 20mins from city center

Apartment is 20 minutes from center by train, but conveniently located within 10 minutes walk to the train station. Neighborhood seems relatively safe at night and close to Olympic Park and other touristy spots. While location is somewhat convenient, there were passing trains throughout the day and evening. The noise trains on the tracks can be disruptive with sleep even with windows closed. Bring earplugs or block it out with music. There was sufficient cookware for a few weeks stay. Space is relatively clean, but the water kettle in the room I stayed at was dirty. It had hard white things settling at the bottom and it certainly wasn’t mineral from the water. Very hard to remove with sponge and soap. Definitely check and wash the utensils carefully if you’re going to use… who knows what’s in there before. Despite the cons, I’d still recommend it. Costs a bit cheaper than staying in center depending on season.

Nothing unique, just no frills, clean.

The staff was very friendly, zero service partly because of COVID-19, very clean, modern building, good location, nice kitchenette, spacious, quiet, BUT: terrible design, grey walls, grey tiles, ugly curtains, old fashioned lighting/lamps, tasteless food/snacks at the reception, the place felt cheap and not homely or welcoming at all, even for business standards. This place could be so much better. My recommendation: redesign, add some color, introduce better food, make this Aparthotel more inviting. There are much better hotels nearby.

Small but good

Smaller than I expected, and the bed was a fold out sofa which I did not expect but it was fairly comfy! Bathroom was modern and the room had a kitchenette and bar fridge. It wasn't serviced but that was not a problem for me as my stay was short. It's about a five minute walk to the U-bahn on the U3 line so was very easy to get into Munchen and close to Olymiapark and BMW Welt. For the price, it is good value.

Accommodation was great. Come with mini kitchen and utensils that allow us to do our cooking at night. Overall rooms was warm and toilet shower constantly supply hot water. 👍

Nice new hotel and near the metro. Kind employees and clean room...the only problem was the bed, it was a sofa bed and not a proper bed: therefore very uncomfortable

The property is not located in the center of Munich yet it is very accessible with the u-bahn nearby - it was ideal for us!

Disappointed Guests

The shower head did not work. It sprayed high pressure water to the wall, the WHOLE bathroom ended up flooded! From ceiling to floor!!! We requested 4 beds only 3 were made. Beware the extra beds are extremely narrow. The heater was very loud, the curtains didn’t properly cover the windows, so that the room was light flooded at night.

New Year 2018

We chose the Adagio as we wanted an apartment for our stay over the New Year period but didn't want to pay too much. Despite some mixed reviews on other sites we were very happy with the apartment, the facilities, the helpfulness of the staff and even the location. The Adagio is a relatively short walk from the nearest U bahn station and is a relatively new development, the room we had was spacious and clean with all of the facilities and equipment you need. We also booked breakfast for our stay and whilst the options were limited it certainly offered enough for most people (we particularly enjoyed that they made their own fresh fruit salad and not pre-prepared or tinned). The reception staff were friendly and helpful when required. Overall an enjoyable stay and a good base for exploring Munich and the wider Bavaria

Great location for Oktoberfest. Very close to the Ubahn and then only 15 mins. The apartments were spacious and the small shop downstairs was super convenient. We would definitely stay again

My friend and I loved this aparthotel room. It had everything we needed.

Nice room for price, but poor service

Quite nice, clean rooms. They could use a small coffee maker however. You could request a coffee maker, but what they give you is an oversized full machine, without providing coffee and creamer. I would describe the service as stand-offish. They do provide help, but reluctantly as if they are begrudgingly doing you a favor--the type of service one expects at a budget backpacker hostel.

ok location but rooms were very hot

Industrial location but near Olympic Park, BMW museum and Strassenbahn. If you go during the summer be prepared to sweat. The rooms are hot and although they claim they have A/C in the rooms, it was barely a trickle of cool air. We knew this is normal in Germany but had hoped for windows to circulate air. The two in the room didn't open fully which meant a hot night.

Ok for a short stay only

The breakfast was not included in my bill and they failed to inform me about this. Also the rooms are cleaned weekly, which I was not made aware of. I tried calling the reception and got no answer at all. The only plus to this hotel is the laundry.

Clean and modern hotel in good location

We had a small studio apartment that has two seperate rooms one with double bed and the other with a sofa bed that can accomodate two persons. The apartment is very clean and the kitchness looks brand new. The hotel is small and few stops U-Bahn from the center and the U-Bahn station is only 4 minutes walk from the hotel. So it is very conveient to get any where. It is one stop from Olympia Shopping center.

Self catering apartment near train station

Due to our own ignorance, my wife and I weren't aware these were self catering apartments and therefore, due to the length of our stay, the rooms were cleaned and the towels were only changed weekly and we had to empty our own bins. Cleaning items (e.g. brooms, mops, etc) weren't provided in the rooms themselves and on arrival, due to the snow outside, we had traipsed the snow and mud into our room but then had to go to reception to request things to clean our own room with. The staff were, however, very helpful. There is a small kitchen area but if the fire alarm was set off the hotel could levy a charge of up to EUR 1700. We were therefore too worried to use the facilities. Unfortunately our room also faced the train tracks which is used by freight trains and kept us up during the night.

Reasonable location

We went there as four people by car. There was a lot of free parking space. Though the surrounding buildings were under construction. And underground station is nearby. I would recommend for sightseeing.

great Oktoberfest visit at great price and location

Great location for Oktoberfest, Mall, Marienplatz, English Garden. All off the U3 metro/train station, including this hotel. Got a great deal here. Nice staff, met people in the lobby, had drinks, beer, and food for sale downstairs.

Adagio Aparthotel

Very good stay. I was in group of 10 and everyone said they enjoyed it.

Efficiency Hotel

Good place to park car and take U into city center. Entry and Exit are very narrow. There are several scrapes on wall where car paint has been left. That means someone is going to have to repair their car. Bad place for just walking around. Nearest market is 40 minutes walk. Same for ATM. As you might expect, the room is small. The mini-kitchen is barely functional.

Great hotel, location, construction noise.

North of city center and just west of BMW. Great location 2 blocks from subway line to center of city - no changes. 1 stop from shopping center and from BMW. Has garage but can park free on streets outside hotel - no one else around because whole area is a construction zone for big buildings. So construction noise is a problem is you leave windows open. Great staff, very friendly. Excellent simple breakfast - meats, cheeses, yogurts, breads, 2 cereals, freshly hard boiled eggs. Great rooms - comfortable beds, shower heads were marvelous - a good solid feel rather than thin tiny streams. Perfect except for construction noise. Apartment for 3 had bedroom with queen bed, v good closet. Entry hallway with bathroom, bdrm, and main area off it, each with door. Main area is kitchenette and living room, couch is a comfortable single bed - just take off back cushions and cover.

Modern clean hotel close to metro

The hotel was clean and modern, it offered a continental breakfast for 8 euros. The staff were friendly and helpful and moving was too much trouble. There are more hotels being built around this hotel so there was some noise early in the morning. Would use it again.

Amazing apartment for a family of four

Brand new apartment-hotel in Munich. Easily accessible from airport and city centre by tram. 5 minute walk from nearest tram. One tram stop away at Olympia tram stop is a nice grocery store and even student laundry facility that a student let us in (0.90 euro per load for washer and dryer) - very cheap. The apartment had most of what we needed. A dishwasher would have been nice plus a toaster too. Air conditioning was great to have.

Don't bother, find another hotel

As with most things in Europe, this place is very small. Its the first time I've slept in a Murphy bed anywhere, let alone a hotel. Its also in a very industrial part of town, nothing near by within waling distance, construction all around and no outside parking available. We were driving a BMW 5 Series and it just fit into the garage, if you are driving anything larger, it might not fit in the larking garage. The AC unit leaked water on our suitcases all night and everything was wet in the morning. They don't take credit cards for miscellaneous items which was very frustrating. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Fairly New, Modern, Clean Apartments.

This is a new idea, based on the principle of having several studio apartments in the same building. Cooking facilities, crockery, and utensils, are all provided. The description is accurate, although the rooms may be a bit small for some people. Furnishings are basic but modern. There is only a bakery nearby, although a "mini market" is provided. Housekeeping needs to ensure that the shower drain is cleaned regularly, and all door/cupboard handles are not loose. Access to lifts and rooms is by contactless Key Card.

Hotel was fine and the room was comfortable. This is an Apartment hotel so the rooms are not serviced daily. Close to a subway station which gets you into the centre of Munich in about 20 minutes. However, this is part of a new development and there is a lot of building work going on. It is also adjacent to a very busy railway line.

Good, clean and friendly

You will need to walk a good 5 mins to train station to get anywhere but the trains are brilliant a 5 min journey to aldi and large shopping mall another short trip takes you to the center of Munich. Loved every minute 4 nights is no where near enough time to see everything and will be going back.

spacious but not completely functional.

We stayed in a lovely, huge room with a comfy double bed and a sofa bed that was nearly as comfy as the others. Sadly many things in the room did not function properly...the water heater, the towel heating/drying rack, the shower drain (we could shower for about 5 minutes without flooding the floor). We were very busy and did not let them know of these issues, but it was mildly frustrating to not have a working room when we walked in. The kitchen sink also broke on day two of our trip, and they kept saying they would fix it- never did. The next day it was still broken and they offered us another room- at 11:00P.M.! Also, they don't clean your room daily (for us, not at all) if you stay from 4-7 days (even though you pay the same amount per day as someone staying 1-3 days who gets cleaning every day). They don't tell you this until you get there, which is kind of cheap and sneaky. Overall, this hotel was great for my group's needs, but our expectations were low. If you're looking for a perfectly functioning hotel, keep looking. If you want a huge amount of space, a kitchenette, and super comfy beds, this is for you.

The hotel is ideally located if one is attending anything in the Olympic Village precinct. We could get around quickly, without effort with the U-bahn station on the doorstep too.

Functional without charm

A minimalist hotel, perfectly functional but utterly without charm. Beds pull down from the wall, front desk is efficient but this is basically a self-service operation.

Family vacation in Bavaria

It is very easy to get to hotel from the airport by rent a car,parking is very easy to find and there is also in the hotel garage,Munchen is excellent for finding city atractions and we did not have necesserity to use metro. Hotel room was very modern, well equiped kitchen, I was sorry that we did not have the room from Adagio hotel in Paris on Haussman avenye where we were on the first floor and have a terasse of 100sq.meters with beautifull music from balley school under the terasse.If you want to see the chateau on the romantic road in Bavaria during the stay I find this lokation very good.

Bad customer service

When arriving they couldn't find our reservation - when they finally did they only found one of the two rooms booked. Once that had been clarified too we could finally get into the rooms - the service level at the desk was weak and unprofessional - same thing happened the next day when asking for an ironing board: " they are all with other guests, cannot help you"...what ?!? The hotel is new, staff most likely too but there needs to be a certain level of customer understanding to actually have that type of job i would assume

nice hotel and location

Overall happy with the choice of hotel. We arrived late in the evening so when i looked out of the window in the morning, i was confused with the view but it was just constructions going on around. The transportation actually was great, you could to get you anywhere with the Trams form the station. The staff at the hotel are very informative and you should utilize the information you get. very clean but be aware they do not chenge the sheets and towles (we stayed 4 days) but there are washer/dryers in the building (which was great). they offer breakfast but we didn't get and i think it was a smart choice as the grocery stores close by has whatever you need. Another positive thing was that they had universal power adapter in the lobby (i had forgotten the power converter in U.S. so benefitted from this. One thing they don't tell you there (and us as turists learned the last day) is that you can return the bottles of water and get your money back (thats why they collect them at the hotel too). we always wondered why we were being charged so much for water... everywhere.. but overall, i would suggest staying in this hotel.

Good Hotel for Family when Long Travel

Good & New Hotel with mini open kitchen and basic kitchenware for cooking. Appreciated for the laundry room in hotel. Good Sound proofing. Only a few minutes walk to Underground station. Nice and friendly staff. However, extremely bad car park entrance, very difficulty for big car go in & out.

Nice new hotel

Overall good hotel. Would have been nice to have made the website clear that you get a pull down bed. I like a firm bed however, others would find uncomfortable. Area is undergoing significant building works however we were up before it got to noisy but again, if you like a lie in you may struggle with noise. Location is brilliant re airport and centre. Leave the tube station by the escalators away from the lift. As you come out of the station walk past a building called breman and turn left.

Its very new hotel, on December 26th 2014 its been on the market just for 25 days. The hotel is everything you wish for: with washing machines, GYM and cleanest modern comfortable rooms with kitchen. Parking on the street is for free and you dont need to pay for hotels parking. Go for it!

Convenient hotel within reach of U-Bahn to centre

Inexpen, clean, brand new - and highly recommended

Stayed there for three nights. The hotel is somewhat isolated, but only a few minutes walk from the subway station. Also, the Leonardo hotel next door has a great bar - but the hotel itself is much more expensive than Adagio. Price/performance wise, this hotel is very, very good. The hotel is brand new and the rooms very cleaned impeccably every day. Two thumbs up !

Quarto muito bom! Estrutura boa, cozinha com utensílios, banheiro com sabonete e secador de cabelo. Quarto com mesa, cadeira, guarda roupa e cofre. Destaque para o atendimento dos funcionários: atenciosos e muito gentís!

Gutes Personal, mehrsprachige Kompetenz und hilfsbereit. Unterkunft ist Appartment, gerecht. Das Frühstück, für jeden sollte eigentlich was dabei sein👍.

Das Bett ist wirklich sehr sehr unbequem, außerdem ist im Zimmer erkennbar, dass du nur sehr oberflächlich saubergemacht wird.

Ich war das erste Mal in diesem Hotel. Und sicher nicht das letzte Mal. Alles ist gut! 😉👍

Im ersten Moment , dachten wir ruhige Gegend, als ich dann aus dem Fenster sah, waren Gleise gleich nebenan und die Güterzüge sind nicht gerade selten gefahren. Das Zimmer war nicht so eingerichtet u komfortabel, wie erwartet. Am Kopfende gab es eine durchgängige Konsole an der Wand unterhalb des Fensterbretts, dies hat nicht richtig abgedchlossen mit der Wand sodass man sich daran gestoßen hat, beim Kopf heben. Die Fernbedienung hat gefehlt, es gab kein Schriftstück auf dem die wichtigsten Dinge des Hotels standen. Eine kleine Küche war eingebaut mit Kaffeemaschine . .1 Tisch u 2 Barstühle gab es , was ich persönlich ganz gut finde, aber nicht gerade praktisch für ältere u gebrechliche Leute. Wir hatten 1 mal Frühstücksbuffet gebucht ( pro Person 17€). Die Auswahl war sehr enttäuschend. Gleichzusetzen wie im Hostel, wobei ich im Hostel zw . 7 u. 10 € Zahle. Die Damen an der Rezeption wirkten etwas lustlos, aber bei Fragen u Problemen antworteten sie freundlich u lösten auch gleich die Probleme. Es wirkte alles erwas unorganisiert. Die Anbindung an die Stadt war sehr gut, weniger als 10 min Fußweg zur U- Bahn. Alles in allem würde ich nicht noch einmal das Hotel buchen. Preis - Leistung 2 Sterne.

Es gab massive Probleme check-in. Das Zimmer sollte ab 15 Uhr bereit stehen, wir kamen später und müssten noch 2 Stunden warten , wie einige andere Gäste. Die Zimmer waren noch nicht gereinigt. Als wir dann ins Zimmer kamen, lag noch ein benutzes Handtuch und der Müll vom Vorgänger war auch noch in der Kitchenette. An der Rezeption war die Dame allerdings so nett und hat uns für die Unannehmlichkeiten ein kostenloses Frühstück gebucht und die Kosten für die Tiefgarage erlassen. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Tag, bot sich ein ähnliches Bild und die beschränkte Auswahl, wäre meiner Meinung nach, keine 17 Euro wert gewesen. Positiv ist: das Hotel liegt fußläufig optimal zum Olympiastadion und in den Zimmern ist es sehr ruhig. Bei voller Auslastung muss man frühzeitig in die Tiefgarage fahren, sonst sind alle Plätze belegt.

Zimmer war nicht sauber, voll mit Haare, Staub und Toilette war nicht sauber.

Gut gelegenes, ruhiges Aparthotel, nahe zur U- Bahn, die Innenstadt ist schnell erreichbar, Sehr nettes Personal, den ganzen Tag freien Kaffee, Bäckerei fußläufig. Nebenan ein schöner kleiner Park, optimal für kurze Gassirunden mit dem Hund.

Für einen Städtetrip gut U Bahn super erreichbar. Zimmer ausreichend durch Gute Fenster ruhig. Super der Kaffeeautomat ist immer zugänglich. Einzige negative Sache die Dusche Abfluss dicht und schimmel in den Fugen .Die Behinderten Vorrichtung lose .

Zimmer war bei der Ankunft leider nicht fertig. Hotel und Apartment war die Ausstattung sehr einfach und nicht ansprechend.

Au prime abord, l'appartement nous a semblé correct hormis des oublis de nettoyage sur les portes. Nous avons eu un souci avec le réfrigérateur qui ne fonctionnait pas. Signalé à la réception il était réparé le lendemain. Dans la salle d'eau la barre maintenant la partie fixe de la douche est détaché., et pour finir le sommier à lattes du canapé est désagréable pour le dos et les ustensiles de cuisine sont très faibles. Sinon tout le reste était bien.

Zimmer modern,sehr sauber, große Dusche, Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ottimo hotel situato a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione metro Oberwiesenfeld. Siamo riusciti a trovare parcheggio gratuito proprio di fronte all'hotel. Le camere sono confortevoli, ben illuminate, insonorizzate e calde. Il bagno è moderno e pulito. La cucina ha lo stretto necessario per cucinare (consiglio di aggiungere qualche strofinaccio per asciugare le stoviglie). Purtroppo il materasso è morbido, ma la comodità è molto soggettiva. Ci torneremo!

Praktische Unterkunft in U-Bahn Nähe. Spielplätze und Parks in der Umgebung. Tiefgarage kostet leider 16€ pro Nacht. Einrichtung zum Teil renovierungsbedürftig, aber bequemes Bett und ausreichend Stauraum.

Das Bett war leider gar nichts sowas unbequemes. Die Kissen sind auch von schlechter Qualität war mein Eindruck. Ins Bett zu steigen war mir fast unmöglich da darunter noch so eine Art ausziehbares Sofa war. Die Angestellten sehr sehr lieb und aufmerksam. Die nette Dame an der Rezeption war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wenn ich das gewusst hätte mit dem Bett hätte ich natürlich nicht gebucht. Einsteigen ins Bett ein Alptraum und nervig.

Die Gegend und der kurze Weg zur U-Bahn war gut. Bin mit Hund angereist, es gab ausreichend Grünflächen. Die Duschefugen im ersten Zimmer war leider sehr von Scimmel befallen. Daraufhin bestand ich auf ein anderes Zimmer, was auch freundlicherweise zur Verfügung gestellt wurde.

Unterkunft ist okay für eine Übernachtung. Mitunter sehr freundliches Personal. Sauberkeit: Böden waren gewischt, Küche und WC waren sehr schmutzig, Schimmel in den Ecken der Dusche. Das Doppelbett war ein Ausziehsofa. Gesundes, gutes Frühstück.
