Apartaments at Cadaques Caribe

I booked this property with the option to pay at my arrival, we drove for 2 ours and when we finally arrived our reservation was cancelled because they try to charge my cc in the morning. No call, no email to tell us nothing. At the gate it was a mess to contact the owner and when she told us that our reservation was cancelled her solution was to book another apartment of her at double the price. Looks like is a scam she us to do as after you are there at night is impossible to find another place to stay.

The apartment was half the size of the one booked, it was dirty and with breaking furnitures

I made a reservation for this property, the reservation was confirmed and when I was on my way there, the host called and canceled. I was already on my way so I had to find a place last minute.

The reservation was not organized, after a while it was fixed. The room wasn’t cleaned at all. We called and it was cleaned very well. The place is ok but the outside is marvelous. I would go back and recommend it to anyone.

The apartment definitely needs some updating. The bathroom, the kitchen, even some decorative elements were in bad shape. Communication with the person in charge was frustrating, he did not respond to my messages when I told him that there were no sheets or comforter for the sofa bed. The first night we had to share our sheets with the children and we sleep alone with the comforter. The next day they put the sheets on the door, but it is not fair that we had to spend an uncomfortable night. The most pleasant thing about the hotel is the beach and the pier. But the hotel must do something with the mosquitoes and insects, we could not enjoy the afternoons in the pool because the mosquitoes bite you constantly, even having breakfast in the restaurant it happened to us.

Всё очень очень хорошо. Но если добавить WiFi и чайник на кухне то будет ещё лучше. Место прекрасное, море чистое без водорослей.

Exploring Dominicus Beach

Beautiful landmark. Next to a National Park. Wonderful beach and many good restaurants a few minutes away.

It isbreally close to the beach and to the restaurant

Beautiful place with every commodoties for family, water park for children, big Pool, amazing beach.

It was a terrible experience, the recepcionist at the property doesnt have any customer service skills plus the AC in the appartment was not cooling down, it got fix the day before we left, in top of the the water park is close during the week so I dont see any point to offered Tickets if we coudnt used it. We could have a better vacation experience as the área was nice and quite.

The worst experience ever. Very disappointed. The apartments looks very different than the Expedia photos. After send a message to the administration, they offert to me a rooms move to the Ibiza building and the housekeeping lady said “isn’t available”, what? The administrator say someting and the employee other things hahaha incredible. As the hotel manager I felt so bad. I never received the wristbands for the water park. As well I send a message asking for a late check out option, I never received an answer. The beach looks so different than the photos. Rooms very dirty and fans never works. Don't waste your time and money.

When I first arrived at the location, I was super excited since the reception area is nice but once I walked over to the location I was quickly disappointed. First of all the location where you leave your car and the apartment is far away and there is only one bellboy to help you make the trip. We had to wait about 10min in the sun before being able to go to our apartment. We got to the apartment block, the elevator wasn't working properly and all 3 floors of the apartment block were full of dead bugs. The apartment its self was easy to enter, the instructions the owner left were spot on. The apartment its self was not clean, there were spider webs in the kitchen celling, dirty ripped up curtains, bathroom towels with holes, dirty kitchen appliances and an over all smell of mildew. The smell of mildew and overall dust didn't allow my baby and some of the adults to sleep at night. When I first booked the apartment it said there were 3 bed rooms, one of which had double beds, which was not true. The 3rd room, was not a room, it was a mezzanine with 3 bed mattresses on the floor. The pictures that I saw on Expedia, where nothing like the apartment! The apartment is old and in bad shape it is in need of urgent TLC. The complex Cadaques has an okay pool area but the beach not so much, it's full of rocks! Not great for kids! Through out the complex there was no real security nor social distancing of any sort. I would not book this apartment nor the complex its self again.

it was nice and easy, i love the welcome and the staff. the apartment was mice and clean with all the house utensils you need. love it!!

Everything was basic, not bad, but nothing extraordinary. The conditions of the towels and linens provided were filthy, old, tasing, with stained, something you do not want to use or sleep on. I had my family staying in another of their apartments and it was nothing like we expected; the beds were so uncomfortable, I had to bring them over to sleep with me.

Very has experience. Bad condition queen bed and useless futon. Unfortunatly its seems this site don’t accept and reject bad reviews. Unexpected and dissapointed

I didn't like that there was no air conditioner in the bedroom. Horrible

Overall the place is beautiful, staff wasn't very nice to compare to others places that i have been in Dominican Republic like in Punta Cana, the aparment was ok but the sink was clogged, pots and pans were nasty, it has nice balcony and the air condition was great

Really great area. All the staff on property were very helpful. Everything is close and walkable. It’s a very safe community. The property is beautiful. I will definitely stay here again!

No amenities at all, and poor communication with the person

No cable,no telephone, no internet the room was awful the a/c didn’t work correctly

No good, beach is not good (rocky), I paid for an apartment but I got a studio. The studio was in good conditions.

The grounds to this place were really cool. The beach was gorgeous and the pool was very nice. Our major problem with this property was that we booked it specifically because it had a water park. In our communications with the owner they mentioned that it was open specific hours of the day. There was no mention that it is completely closed Monday and Tuesday which sadly were the days we were there. Try explaining to a 3 year old that he cant go down the awesome slides you told him he could , and now he just gets to look at them. Another annoying thing is the internet. You have the option of paying for it for $5 which is no problem but you can only use it in public areas not in the room. All in all the place was fine but if we had known this in advance we probably wouldn't have stayed there.

Fantastic !!

If you want a place to stay in Dominican Republic and enjoy of the best beaches of the world; this is the one. It's simply the BEST. Free kayaks included at your disposition any time of the day. Free sailboat. A beautiful dock (at the hotel) from where you can sail to Saona Island (Not Included in the fee); you can make arraignments with the hotel to be picked up from the hotel. Aquatic Park, excellent for adults and children and a huge beautiful swimming pool. The whole hotel looks like a replica of an old Spanish town. There are many things that I can express about this place but I guess you would have to go to experience by yourself. I highly recommend it.

Great Stay!

Our arrival and check-in was smooth. The owner greeted us and provided us with useful information. The kids room was perfect for out needs, the apartment was clean and in a great location within the resort. I was able to see my kids at the pool from the apartment. We packed out own food to cook, so the nights were restful after a full day of pools and beaches. I wish I would have listened to Greta and stayed away from the resort restaurant, that was awful. We paid and walked out before my daughter could get her juice, needless to say it took them forever to bring our drinks and the restaurant staff looked like they had giving up. The property itself is great, the water park for the kids is just right. Not to big and not too small, not many resorts have their own water park within and not having to pay extra monday thru thursdays is also a bonus. Needless to say, this is at the top of my list to stay in again and brag about with friends and family.

El departamento tiene muchísimas camas y es acogedor. Cuenta con dos baños y tres habitaciones. Un baño está dentro de uno de los cuartos. En mi opinión es muy buen complejo y apartamento. Hay que tomar en cuanta que tiene problemas con la limpieza del lugar ya que huele mucho a húmedo y encontré cucarachas en las habitaciones. No la pasé mal pero deben mejorar mucho los apartamentos. Los precios son altos del minimarket. El personal de la recepción debe mejorar ya que intentan aprovechar de los turistas en los precios de actividades. Por lo que no recomiendo hablar de actividades con ellos. Los pagos no son como dicen que es al llegar te cobran en la tarjeta.

Nos gusto mucho el complejo, muy lindo y agradable el muelle y demás instalaciones. Con respectó a la habitación es bastante simple, te lo presentan como apart pero no tenes los elementos basicos de limpieza. La limpieza con la que se recibió la habitación fue regular para mala; no nos dejaron amenities básicos ni toallas y un solo rollo de papel higiénico. Deberían mejorar las instalaciones y la limpieza, pero despues muy agradable bayahibe

Buen area social, apartamento descuidado

Ek lugar en general, muy bonito, el apartamento en si, tenia el baño sucio, y mal olor, sin wi fi ,algunos muebles dañados . Faĺta de toallas, y las q estaban, demasiado pequeñas. No habia toallas para ir a la playa. No habia servicio de limpieza.

Algo bonito, pero, por mejorar

El lugar en si es impresionante, el apartamento, bonito, pero sin wifi, los baños sucios con moho en la pared, sin toallas para la playa, los cuchillos sin filo, y las de la habitacion son sumamente pequeñas y delgadas. No hay servicio de limpieza, ni escobas, y trapeador, para el aseo.

A la hora de llegar al establecimiento me dicen que mi reserva está cancelada pues tuve que pagar 155 por noche y en un apartamento de 2 habitaciones cuando mi reserva tenía un reserva de 3 habitaciones!

Este lugar es una estafa este lugar cuando llegas te dicen que no tienes ninguna reservación para así quedarse con su dinero no le recomiendo a nadie ir a este lugar

El establecimiento es muy limpio y en el apartamento que nos toco es muy cómodo, tienen un mini parque de agua pero solo por pocas horas, lo cierran muy temprano, el proceso de check-in no es claro para una persona que viene por primera vez, ya que tienen el hotel dividido de los apartamentos alquilados, tuvo que un cliente explicarme que te envían un código para accesar a la llave del apartamento y luego ir a un escritorio no del hotel para llenar los papeles y no puedo parquearme al lado del apartamento, en fin la comunicacion fue mala.

Désagreable

En arrivant notre accueil n a pas été des plus agréables personne ne nous avait prévenu qu il fallait prendre contact afin d avoir un code pour obtenir la clé de notre appartement. Nous avons du attendre et nous débrouiller par nos propre moyen pour contacter une certaine Greta qui nous a communiqué le code 3h après notre arrivée par message. En découvrant l appartement il n était pas super propre . De la sauce tomate sur la table de la cuisine, un couvre lit dans notre chambre tout déchiré(autant ne pas en mettre!) Heureusement que nous avions reservé qu une seule nuit car je ne serai pas resté plus longtemps. Et lors du check out personne et pas de message . Nous avons donc laissé la clé a l endroit trouvé et nous sommes partis.

Site très agréable /appartements inégaux entre eux

Site adapté aux familles Etat des appartements très inégal. Sur ce 2eme séjour l'appartement etait de qualité minimale.

This private apartments are great. There are inside one of the best complex in the whole Bayahibe/Dominicus area, with an excellent private beach, water park, pools, gym, free and secure parking. Apts have A/C kitchen and basics to spend holidays. The host is very responsive and sent us a lot of important information and tips about the area, before the arrival. It’s a very familiar place. Excellent for kids. Highly recommended

El apartamento no estaba en buenas condiciones de mantenimiento

El apartamento esta bien equipado, el complejo lindo y la piscina y playa divinas. Sólo agregaría que debería haber sabana para el sofá cama y para arroparse en caso que la ocupación este completa. Nunca apareció la red de wifi. Las indicaciones para el check in fueron completas y claras.

El apartamento yo lo reserve con 3 habitaciones y realmente tenia dos, una improvisada en el 2do. piso casi pegada al techo y las personas que les tocó esa habitación no cabían parados, muy desagradable.

The complex is very nice, one of the best beaches in the country (Dominicus and Bayahibe), and without the seaweeds that affect Punta Cana. The water park is very fun for children, and pools are large and clean. We rented two apartments, as we were 10 people. One of 2 BR and one of 1 room. Both very clean, with good air conditioning, wifi, electricity, safe parking, and everything you need to have fun. We received an email with the precise instructions to make the payment before arrival. We choose PayPal. Once sent, we received a lot of information about the arrival, the lockbox code, and many tips about the area, suggestions for restaurants, etc. We had a rental car and we were able to go to the fishing villages of Bayahibe and Dominicus, and eat in several of their Very good restaurants, but without a doubt it is much better to sleep inside this complex, which is the best in the area, as it is very safe and has the best attractions. The others, such as Whala and Tracadero, which we also visited, do not have a good quality beach, which for us was the most important. We plan to return next year to escape the cold of Canada.

Víctima de un engaño!

Reservé y pagué un apartamento de una habitación y en cambio me asignaron uno tipo loft que tiene una tarifa mas baja y mucho menos confort. Reclamé al día siguiente sin obtener respuesta. Un engaño.

Very very bad !!

very bad ! Do not get close! We arrived at midnight and simply were not allowed to enter because we did not appear on the list of the guard at the entrance. All our attempts to show him the confirmation we received and the payment we made by us did not help. Also that we called the number listed in the invitation did not answer and did not refer to the our whatsapp message ! We just looked for another hotel in the middle of the night ...

We had an excellent stay in Cadaques. We paid before using PayPal and Greta sent us a lot of useful information and tips. Check in process was very smooth, our names were at the main door and we already know our codes. We rent 2 apts (1 BR and 2 BR) since we were 10. Greta has a lot of apts there so she gave us two very close from each other. All with AC in all areas, complete kitchen, balcony, TV, linens, and everything you will need for a nice vacation. Pools and beach are gorgeous. Kids could enjoy the water park as well. Is a very family friendly resort. Inside minimarket is very expensive with no stock at all, but we took advantage of Greta’s tips and went to a big supermarket before the arrival and also during our stay we costed another ones close by. We really enjoyed the local restaurant, and some of them gave us discount since we were Greta’s Guests. We really recommend spend your vacation there and we looking forward to return next year to one of Cadaqués apartments.

Not a Hotel

This is not a hotel, Some woman is renting out her apartments. You will not get any service from the hotel personell. The apartment was dirty and you had to pay extra to get it cleaned. There where cockroaches and dead lizards in the living room The showers were rusty and there was almost no pressure. The restaurant (there is only one in that area) is very expensive and not good. They serve the same buffé every day, breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have to catch a taxi to the closest town to get to a supermarket where you can buy food, and taxi is expensive there. The Wifi is not included and has a daily fee. The adventure park is only open selected hours during the day and you have to pay an admission fee to get in. The tanningbeds on the end of the pier are reserved for VIP-guests. Seems good when you're looking at the pictures but don't have high expectations or you will get dissappointed when you get there. I would not recommend this place to anyone even if the beach was nice. Spoke to a bunch of the other guests, they had similar experiences.

Appartement très mal entretenu et sale.

Premier appartement fuite d'eau dans la salle de bain. Puis un tuyau de raccord du chauffe eau cède et c'est l'inondation... On nous change d'appart. Pleins de moustiques car était resté ouvert toute la nuit. Centaines de moustiques. Mobilier de cuisine mo trant de multiples dégâts des eaux car meubles abîmés moisis Le matin des cafards dans les plats de la cuisine. Fenêtres qui ferment très mal. La femme de ménage devait passer changer les serviettes mais pas venue. En fait il y a la partie hotel du complexe ou cela a l'air bien et des apparts loués par des particuliers via des agences et là ce n'est pas top vu notre expérience. Cela fait beaucoup mais nous ne pouvions pas le laisser passer.
