Clean, convenient location
Morning staff service poor
Hotel was conveniently located near Nippori Station. Accommodating and friendly staff. There are small restaurants nearby and a Family Mart. I would stay there again.
Toilet dirty
There is very convenient transportation.
Proximity to Nippori station
Near train one ride to airport
Nil
Near train station. Easy access to and from Narita Airport via Narita Skyliner (55min). Many convenient stores within 5 min walking distance.
This property is a great base of operations for visiting Tokyo. The Yanaka Ginza is more my speed the the bright glitzy market street downtown. Via the yamanote line right next to the hotel you can hits almost all the must-see attractions in the city. Get a room as high up as you can and get well oriented.
The washroom had a bad smell of dampness. No other complaints. Standard hotel experience.
Excellent base for exploring Tokyo. Right by yamanote subway, but quiet. If you’re on the street side away from the station.
We found what we look like a Camera in our room
Had a tough travel to the property from where I was coming from and arrived at 1pm. I rested in the lobby until 3pm checkin. The staff let me know there was an elevator at the north gate to the train station so I wouldn’t have to take the stairs on the way back.
I stayed a few nights here. It was great. Right next to the train station, clean, easy to navigate around. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay again.
Nearby Conditions
The nearby condition deteriorated obviously, many suspected red light all along the street. Very annoying. But the hotel is very good in terms of service etc. APA always good for solo traveller.
Excellent service and was the perfect spot to recover from a long flight.

Great stay but need option for cooling room
The hotel was exactly what I expected, perfect size room with all the amenities I expect from APA. The only problem was that my room was very hot and you can not adjust the temperature. I bought a small fan but the room was on a high floor and very hot to stay in. I would have appreciated an option to turn down the thermostat, even for just a short time to cool the room off. The hallways were very nice and cool but the room was like sauna.
They are very strict on check in time. You arrive at 2:50 and the room is ready, but you still have to wait till 3 pm.
I was satisfied with my stay. The staff is incredibly polite and very nice. I would book with them again.
Great stay - the rooms are small but perfect for what we needed. A short walk from the station, which had a direct train to Narita. Plenty of eating options in the area.
We booked a 5-night Tokyo stay here for 6 people (2 people in each room). We already knew before booking that it didn't have an on-site onsen, but it was pretty average for an APA hotel. Room cleanliness was average and they provided an amenity bag (towels, robes, toothbrushes etc.) everyday. Everyday room cleaning was optional, but you could also indicate on your door if you needed it. They offered room cleaning every 3rd day as well, whether or not you asked for it. The staff were exceptional and provided excellent service. The location is great, especially if you're flying to/from Narita. We would stay here again on our next visit to Tokyo.
I stayed lower level floor. It would be better that not so noisy from the train station.
Good location for any transportation. I think higher level floor has a bit noisy from the nearest train station.
Okay
Despite being a few doors down from the laundry facility, where there was always a huge queue of people waiting to wash their clothes, the room was in excellent condition and I was able to sleep well. Regretfully, I discovered dried blood spots on the chair.
Close to train station. Very convenient. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Highly recommend!
Staff was great! I would stay in the place again.
Great amenities, cleanliness, and location for an affordable price.
Very small hotel, but great location. Nippori station have a direct access to the Narita Airport, and also have the JR Yamanote line, which means this is an amazing option in terms of transportation. The hotel room is extremely small and there are no additional amenities. It's great if you don't plan to stay in the hotel room the whole time!
Good
Exceeded expectations
This was a perfect accommodation as I was visiting family in Tokyo. The proximity to the train station was excellent. The room was exactly what I needed, and the amenities fully met my needs. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Good hotel
A great location
Staff is great. Location works for me. Stayed here several times before but this time made it that I might not return. My room smelled of Urine. Nasty. Tried to change but when I called down the desk person couldn’t understand so I just put up with it. But that is groas
Very close to train station and easy for transportation from Airport. Staffs very helpful and nice.
Five stars, if the double bed is not that narrow. The so called double bed in fact is only for one. Except for this, all the services, conditions and facilities are great!
Fast check in and check out decent price
Great location, Perfect service
The room we had was tiny, as expected. It would be fine for one person, but it was a little challenging to have two people in it for three nights because of the tightness of the space. I found the location very convenient due to its closeness to a major train/metro station, and there is a nice grocery store nearby. I was amazed at how quiet the neighborhood was -- quiet enough to sleep with the window open. Although there was a little yelling on Friday and Saturday night, to be expected given its proximity to some night life.
Clean room with adequate amenities, nice shower and bathroom. Comfy bed with a large TV. Staff were helpful even though I couldn’t speak Japanese.
The hotel is conveniently located very close to the South Gate of Nippori Station and there are several restaurants and convenience stores close by, but otherwise it was an average location. The staff were accommodating and kind, during check in and check out. However, my room had dirty towels and dirty linens, which was disappointing. It was also very noisy, as room service was working early around 9am and I could hear everything they were doing, from moving things and carts around in the hallway, to talking, to vacuuming other rooms. My room also faced the train tracks which were noisy, but it’s expected of a hotel so close to a station. For tourists, this is maybe not the best hotel to stay in but it’s still good and budget-friendly.
Great! Definitely recommend!
The hotel is on a lovely street, with restaurants and convenience stores, as well as being extremely close to Nippori station! Nippori station is very well connected to the rest of Tokyo and has the Skyliner train that goes to Narita Airport, making it ideal for both city and airport access. The room was clean and had great amenities! Would go again!
Will choose the hotel next time
I would definitely stay here again if I visit Japan next time.
Bad wifi
Close to transport system
This is my second time staying at hotel irs proximity to metro and line for narita airport is only couple minutes walk the rooms are small but comfortable and quite reception are always very pleasant
Very good for business trip.
The room was small even for Tokyo standards. The pillows were so thin we had to buy additional pillows from a store. The bed had sagged on one side. Location is excellent, staff were excellent.
Convenient to Narita, Yamanote
Very inexpensive, clean, modern business hotel on Yamonote line. Once very 3 nights cleaning unless requested. Amenity bag everyday there is no cleaning. Convenient to Narita. Free VOD on the days i was there maybe low season? Just only one water bottle free (the first) for 4 nights.
All the staff are extremely helpful and service are top class!
Good price and good room for a short trip
The chair in the room had a large liquid stain, the toilet needs repair as it constantly leaked and had a dripping noise all night. My room over looked the Yamanote line and it was very noisy. Right before I got into the lobby, a woman tried to pull me into a massage parlor one building away. I had to pull my arm away from her grip. As always, APA staff is very nice but I'll never stay at this one again.
Awesome value. The hotel is really close to the Nippori Skyliner stop that is a direct 37 minutes from Narita. The rooms are small, but the layout is efficient and you can spend more if you want more space (this is Tokyo after all). The main con to me was that the internet is very slow (can’t video call and YouTube videos take a while to buffer). Overall, I’d definitely book again when I visit Tokyo.
Great place to stay.
Coffee, tea and yukata were in the drawer, so I didn’t realise their existence!
Great location near the skyliner if coming from NRT
Although the room wasn’t cleaned daily like western hotels, everyday I came back to fresh towels, yukata, coffee, tea, and toiletries. I loved it because it gave a sense of privacy to a hotel stay. The location is amazing!!! You are a minute away from Nippori station and very close to Ueno, a great location to dine with locals and enjoy Ueno park. Would highly recommend.
Very nice Budget hotel. Perfect location
APA always the best choice for me (and all travellers) ,best location ,cleanliness, facilities, etc. This branch is great location ,easy for transpotation between airport and Ueno. Quiet and great staff.
Short walk to the Nippori station which has access to the JR lines and Keisei lines as well as the Skyliner for easy access to the airport. Lots of small restaurants and stores for convenience. Stayed in a 1 person room, not a whole lot of room for storing items. Rooms were cleaned every 3 days. Amenities provided in a bag outside the door for the other days. Breakfast costs about 1200 yen every morning but with plenty of other options nearby. Laundry available on the second floor, no need to bring detergent. Costs about 300 yen and 100 per 30 minutes in the dryer. Pleasant and helpful staff, easy check out if you didn't order extra services..
Not so clean
They didn’t clean our room. Bathtub had mold and shower curtain was smelly.. bed wasn’t comfortable and they had very thin pillows. Otherwise service was great. Very close to Nippori station which was pretty convenient.
Perfect staying who looking for budget hotels.
near to JR station, amazing restaurants around
Great location very close Nippori station.
It’s convenient location
Near train station and Keisei skyline. Easy when we go to Narita Airport.
It’s good I can recommend to all of my friends
Staff was friendly and accommodating
Its ok
Next to train station, good for family
Breakfast is delicious very good. Comfortable price and place.
I would stay here again in the future.
quiet
We liked everything except the pillows. They’re stuffed with a flat, hard insert and I woke up sore with my jaw locked. We had to stuff them with our clean clothes to make it comfortable.
Clean but terrible pillow
Clean and updated. My only and major complaint was the super thin/uncomfortable pillow.
On the 15th floor, when you have the exhaust fan and vent running, you can hear the trains through the vent.

Convenient to transportation and going to the Narita Airport Great location for quick eats and quick access to getting to and from shopping in major metro citifies
Value for money
Value for money
The staff were not exceptionally welcoming when I was leaving my luggage with them. Furthermore, when I returned to receive my luggage and check in the staff dropped my back containing all of my electronics.... Although they did apologise I'm pretty certain that it takes little effort to avoid anything like this happening in the first place.
Nice
Good hotel. Close to the subway. Lots of food options in the area.
The qas aw
Very close to the station. There are some dining options and a concubine store a few doors away. The staff was not very friendly at check in but another staff at check out was very nice. Soap scum was all over the bathtub and I stepped on the someone's cut finger nail. One of the rubbish bin was half filled by the spare bags. I stayed here 4 years ago and I really liked there but I was disappointed this time.
The staff is extremely helpful and kind, offering everything from sending your suitcases to your next destination to finding a watch you left in your room. They are mostly bilingual, very sincere, and offer an unimaginable level of service. The rooms are very small, though. This may be the only problem with this hotel. I love the location as it is right by the Nippori Station, which is the first stop in Tokyo on the Keisei Skyliner (an express train from the Narita Airport). This is not the city center like Shinjuku, Shibuya, or Tokyo, so the rooms are quite reasonable, and Tokyo's tranportation system enables you to be anywhere in Tokyo within a few minutes. Many restaurants and cafes are all around the area. You can walk to Ueno (with its fantastic zoo and elegant museums) from the hotel. Highly recommended.
Best locate ,polite & helpful staff, great room space and amenities , easy for transportations…APA’s always be my priority choices✨👍
Only one concern is toilet odor smell
It was a very good sty. the people are wonderful
It's a great property, convenient location to the subway!
Close to Subway Train Station and local shopping/dining establishments
It was ok; the pillows were hard.
Pretty nice room overall. It’s really close to the train station so you can travel around easily.
Excellent location and a lot of restaurants, pharmacy, and shops nearby. Helpful staff.
Great hotel for the price. Conveniently located near Nippori Station. Easy train access to and from Narita airport.
