Rooms are small but service the purpose. Price point reflects. Good service . Close to all trains and buses . Food options around hotel. Would stay there again .
The hotel was perfectly fine except it really is small. If we didn’t have two large suitcases it would be easier to navigate. The staff were great (replenished toiletries and towels daily). They also tried their best to help us with the laundry machine (we eventually went to a laundromat down the street) The location is great - walking distance to subway, restaurants and Tokyo Dome. Also a 7-11 on the corner which you will visit daily - that’s a promise! Overall we had a decent stay and it was well worth the price.
Good hotel with an economical price, string recommended.

All good
It was clean, quiet, well serviced by staff, convenient and close to transit. I would stay again.
The overall experience was excellent. However, the rooms needed a little more cleanliness especially carpets, and there was some dust but not to the extent to make it a deal breaker. Just going the little extra mile will be awesome. Besides that I will definitely recommend the hotel. Very accessible to multiple locations, attractions and train stations. Keep in mind rooms are not very big but that’s how it is in Japan so we expected it beforehand.
Everything was amazing! Easy check-in and check-out, the app option on the TV was great since we could use it to watch Netflix. Only gripe is that the bidet didn’t function correctly.
Our room was dirty. The bathroom had mold especially under the sink and in shower. The desk was very dusty and carpet was dirty. Breakfast was not great but okay. Staff do not speak English so it was difficult to ask for assistance. The dryer was so dirty and the dust was so bad that our clothes did not dry because the lint trap was never cleaned. The lint was all over the ceiling and dryer. Probably would not stay again.
Every thing is great!

Our stay here happened to be our first stay in Japan for a two week trip. This location definitely helped ease us into the environment. There’s a ton of food options nearby ranging in price, even several convenient stores if a tight budget is at hand. The buffet this hotel offered was delicious and did not cost very much to attend on the first floor. Our room was a bit small but that seems pretty standard across most Hotels based on our trip.
Staff incredibly welcoming and helpful. Room however was too small. It was supposed to be a double but but really should be a single.
Room was small, but it was clean, staff were nice and it was perfect for a couple nights stay
Small but efficient
Nice room just really small. It automatically turns on the heat which made it very difficult as the window only opens slightly. The AC had no instructions in other languages which made it a bit difficult. The service was great though. Very friendly staff.
tight space like the room is not spacious enough the AC dont work that good so the room is not comptable to sleep if its hot.
We stayed 7 nights, it was a great location and a short walk to DOTONBORI without the noise. The staff are great and the area has amazing food.
The staff was really nice.
Second time spending a one week vacation at this APA location and love it. Highly recommend
Bueno, bonito, precio acorde
Volveria a repetir

Great stay and within walkable distance near the metro train lines.
The room was a bit small, but very clean and affordable.
Excellent place to stay
Convenient location.
Very small rooms. Never came in to clean the whole 3 dsys we were there
great stay
Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful - communicating in English was not a problem. Hotel is located close to many book stores. Short walk to a subway station. Room was clean. Hallways and other common areas need a bit more cleaning - staff needs a better vacuum cleaner. The building is quite beautiful. Breakfast was good - restaurant staff every friendly and helpful.
Had a really enjoyable stay in Tokyo. Great hotel in convenient location. Room was cosy and served all my needs. Hotel staff very helpful and polite. Will definitely use hotel again on next visit in 2025.
Stayed here for three nights. The room was small, but understandable. Although it was on the smaller side, no issues with space for two people and two pieces of luggage. The staff were friendly and super helpful. I would easily stay at this location and other APA brands again.
Cool
Excellent place!!!
Excellent place!!!
Good
Quiet
The staff are super helpful. Rooms are small, basically no view, but the room is very clean and have all the essentials. There are many bookstores and ski/skate boards shops around, very walkable distance to stations, and feel safe in the area too
It was ok
The room was smaller than we expected, but very clean. We were happy with the accommodations.
a bit of a walk from train station
Outstanding service! Thanks for the upgrade!
It was absolutely outstanding. Had stayed at APA hotels previously, nevertheless, this time, the experience was amazing! Got a free upgrade during my check in process (due to availabilities and for having a members card I believe). The room was so much spacious, very different to all my previous experiences using this same hotels franchise. Also, the bathroom was very spacious, totally different to all those standard modular ones.
Front desk staff were all very sweet and helpful
Amazing
Checking in wasn't the easiest. To check-in, one must input their name on the check-in screen. In my case, it was set to Japanese, and I could not input Roman characters.
If you enjoy book stores this hotel is surrounded by then and old vintage shops
Staff is not friendly. Dirty
Staff is not friendly. Dirty.
Staff is not friendly. The air in the room and hall way is not fresh
Friendly staff and budget friendly!
Good location, not far from the metro line, lots of dinning options. Loved how the housekeeper hung a bag with fresh towels on our door( we didn't ask for the maid service). The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was very small, difficult to get around with 2 people.
Kind Staff, Room Maintenance Lacking
Despite the kindness and attentiveness of the staff at APA, my recent stay was marred by neglected room maintenance. While the room was quiet, it showed signs of wear and tear, indicating a lack of upkeep. Additionally, the inconvenience of having to call the front desk every time I wanted to use the AC was frustrating. Overall, while the staff were commendable, the maintenance issues detracted from the experience.
The room I booked was a single room, size was satisfactory, excellent mattress comfort. The cleanliness could have been better on arrival but it improved during my stay. Staff were lovely. I found the location just perfect for my stay. Not extremely busy, easy to get around Tokyo.
Very good !
It’s a pretty convenient location.
No complaints over than the size of the room. Expected with location but it was a little uncomfortable for two.
Very nice staff, close by shopping stores , food stores , transportation
Room was bigger than I expected. Some of the APA hotels don’t have enough floor space but this hotel had a walking space. The bathroom was a good size for APA hotel.
best hotel in japan!!
it was amazing. room has everything u need, the amenities are awesome! the reason their rooms are small is to reduce environmental impact , and even with the size there’s nothing u can’t do.
Good location
Apa hotels are definitely my favorite places to stay when visiting Tokyo. Will book again on next trip
it was nice
The staff were very helpful, centrally located, easy access to subway lines, grocery store near by, and a few eating spots within a couple steps. Late check out was a little pricy at 1000yen per hour.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and located in a very convenient area. The staff members are very kind, welcoming and they do their maximum for help us.
It was close to the station and surrounded by many conveniences stores.
Very good
Great comfortable and clean room. Staff was very helpful with our check in. I Would definitely stay here again when in Japan.
Peaceful and safe location
The staff was very helpful and kind. Hotel is close to coffee shops, convenience stores and between two metro stations. Rooms are small, but they have all the essentials needed for s great stay! Would definitely come back and stay here.
Good for Business Travel
Great for business. Good location and good price.
Enjoyed the stay
Great hotel to stay close to imperial palace. Rooms are small because this is a hotel for business people.
A pleasant stay
Always a great stay at an apa hotel. The breafast quality option can vary from hotel to hotel would be my only caution.
Good choice
First APA hotel stay. Convenient location for our schedule. Wondered why our taxi drivers were not familiar with its location. Only disappointment was no alternate breakfast available.
It was a great location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We found the double room difficult for two guests (cramped), but overall a great stay. For those wondering, this hotel did not come with a "Handy" device, but had great wifi within the hotel.
Nice hotel, relatively good value. Small rooms, but well designed to squeeze everything in. Breakfast was interesting. Choice of rice balls with miso soup - very traditional and I liked it a lot. Better than boring buffet in other hotels Location good for Imperial Palace
Just really small but I think that's normal in Japan. Otherwise great. Except the pillow, it was 1 flat pancake so we asked for 2 more each. They accommodated us no problem.
Compact yet comfortable
Amazing place! Really comfortable bed, but there was not sufficient space for our bags. Nonetheless had a great time!
APA Life
I've stayed at several APA hotels now, and this was my second time to the Kanda-Jimbocho branch. I've always found them to provide a comfortable stay, free WiFi, TV in the room, free amenities in the bathroom, and bottles of water provided to encourage more environmentally friendly/cost effective laundry practises. Some people might complain that the rooms are small, but they are no different from other reasonably priced Japanese hotels. If you book a hotel in Japan, especially central Tokyo, and you didn't spend a fortune, you have to expect the rooms to be on the smaller side. This hotel's location is pretty great, it is technically walking distance from Akihabara. But is situated between two underground stations providing access to many lines, including the Toei Shinjuku line, and the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi, Hanzomon, Mita, and Chiyoda lines. No JR lines particularly close, so not quite so handy for JR Rail Pass users, unless you walk to Kanda, Ochanomizu, or Akihabara station. They are walkable distances, but maybe not something you want to be doing every day. Unlike many hotels in Tokyo, the top floors of this hotel have a fairly open view from the windows, even if the room is not advertised as having a view. There is a coin operated washer, and dryer on the ground floor, 300円 for a wash and 100円 per 30 minutes in the dryer. Quite convenient for a longer stay. But they do not sell detergent, so you will need to provide your own.
Convenient to public transportation but small room
The place was very closed to the station but there wasn’t any places for my clothes to be stored. Hangers were limited for my suits.
Good hotel for a short stay
There was bot enough space to store my clothes. I think this hotel is good for a short stay.
Great location and clean room. Room was very small and hard to maneuver around.
Like: The location; Clearness Dislike: The room size; The breakfast, though I really like and prefer Japanese food. Booking a room in this hotel with breakfast is a ,istake. There are so many nice Japanese places around with good mealchoice.
Property was well maintained staff friebdly free water everyday
It was perfect for what I needed. Staff was very helpful and the property and rooms very well kept and clean.
The room is a little tight for two people
We had a lovely time at the Hotel it was very nice, clean and central, we were near shops and restaurants.
This hotel is very conveniently located: within 5 min you have access to various subway lines that get you to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Asakusa, Tokyo Station. Akihabara is a 15 min walk away. The rooms are small but clean. Although located at a main road, we couldn't hear any traffic when the windows were shut. Would recommend.
Good value for money.
Good hotel. A bit smallish rooms but hey this is Japan :)
its really convenient and walking distance to my office which is so convenient. but hotel in toyko is so small. .. i stayed for 7 nights and its really so small...
Not good
We did not like this hotel. The room was extremely dirty, and the lamps were so bright that it felt like a prison. It was extremely cold, due to the fact that the corridor was open. The only good things was the nice and friendly staff and the good location. Can not recommend this hotel.
