My wife and I stayed in A.P Acropolis View Apartments located in the Psyrri neighborhood during the last portion of our trip to Athens, Greece. For reference, the 1st and middle portions of our trip included stays in the Esse hotel (Plaka neighborhood in Athens) and in the Ira hotel & Spa (Firostefani neighborhood in Santorini). Pros: Psyrri location; Luxurious appearance of rooms; Great hot tub; Great water pressure & hot water in bathroom, Good views; Spacious bathroom; balcony. Cons: Terrible internet Wi-Fi (not working for our floor at all during our 3 night stay and we had to use Wi-Fi from other floors which was spotty at best). No staff available for help after 4pm (we arrived at 5pm and hadn't been informed on how to enter the building so we had to wait for another guest who was entering to let us in. We then found our room key on the reception desk w/a letter). No smart tv. Many, little issues with the room like a loud filtration system under the bathroom sink with doors that would not shut, loose towel rod, missing shower valve control knob, sauna-like hallway temperature that could not be adjusted, drywall damage in bathroom ceiling, no power to tv for 1st night and half of day 2, partially broken safe, etc. The hotel mgr. Wasn't there during our stay so the person at reception tried his very best to help us with our many issues but he was new so he was constantly calling his 2 mgrs for answers. Thankfully our bill was adjusted to compensate for the shortcomings.

I want to say that my experience here was nothing but exceptional. The team is welcoming and accommodating. If you're looking for where to stay in Athens, this is where!

The property is perfectly located to enjoy Psirri and surrounding areas. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are beyond helpful. Breakfast baskets are huge and to be enjoyed leisurely overlooking the Acropolis from the rooftop. Highly recommend! Thank you for an excellent stay 🙏

Unique hotel stay in Athens

Unique hotel stay in Athens! Perfect situated in a lively and vibrant part of town. Elegant and functional rooms, fantastic breakfast on the rooftop terrace and amazing service!! This is one of the best hotel experiences ever!

Staff was great! Wish the bathroom was bigger; the hotel room was very spacious yet the bathroom was small. And our safe did not work.

The street where apartment is located is very run down. If you walk a few blocks you can easily get to a great area for dining and the to the Plaka. The manager was the nicest guy who brough us wine and a basket of goodies up to our room. The unit was so nice and very clean.

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars across the board, I would. I was traveling with my husband and his mother and sister. Everyone loved the rooms. Bright, clean, modern, comfy - and amazing A/C. And the staff was the sweetest. They were genuinely kind and helpful. For example, when they found out we had to check out super early for our flight, they made us a basket of Greek breakfast treats (including a vegetarian sandwich for me), and delivered it to the room that evening. By the way, highly recommend doing breakfast (also delicious and included) on the rooftop for stunning views of the Acropolis. Oh, and there’s a sauna and a steam room you can reserve for free.

It was alright for a one-night stay in Athens while in transit between other destinations in Greece. The staff were the best part of the stay. They were very friendly and helpful.

Great location walkable to lots of dining options. Staff were amazing and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. Our flight was delayed and our transfer we arranged left and the transfer back to the airport was a no show as well.

The staff (Adriana & others) went above and beyond to serve us. The breakfast brought to our room early, so we could make our Acropolis Tour, made our day. As well as the help with our luggage. We also loved the Rooftop view open to all in the hotel!

A great stay

We had a great stay at the apartment. Location and hospitality was exceptional. The reception ladies were extremely nice and welcoming. It felt very nice staying there due to the exceptional service. However, the accomodation was a bit tight for a family of 5 and although AC was working fine, the humidifier systems or structure of the rooms made the AC a bit less effective on a hot summer day. We really enjoyed our stay overall.

It’s such a great place! Staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious, The Acropolis’s view was stunning. Walking distance to Sarri lots of restaurants and nightlife.

The service is amazing!!! The team really takes care of all your needs - from booking cars to making sure you have a great breakfast and helping you navigate where to go and what to do. I would definitely stay here any time I am in Athens!!!!

What an amazing experience. This is a must stay. The staff here went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We had a busy itinerary and were going to miss breakfast. They made a breakfast basket and delivered it the night before for us to enjoy. They helped us with reservations at some amazing restaurants, arranged transfers from the airport and to the cruise port. Probably the best customer service we have had internationally with a hotel/apartment. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the views breath taking. I recommend booking the suit with the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean and great water pressure. A/C was very nice on the hottest days. We spent early mornings and late nights relaxing in the hot tub on the large balcony which was the cherry on top. All in all an amazing experience. You will not be disappointed with this choice. We can’t wait to visit them again.

Staff go above and beyond. Worth it for the view alone, which is accessible to all from the top floor (with no annoying glass or anything in the way). Lots of shops and dining within 3-5 min walk.

The staffs are amazing. They were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was way above expectation. The location is great as it is close to major attractions and close to many awesome restaurants and super market. The area where the property located is surprisingly quiet. Definitely a highlight of our trip.

Location breakfast service

A.P. Acropolis View Appartments is a diamond in the rough. Don't let first impressions turn you off. The neighborhood is covered with graffiti, but it's safe and one of thenl best locations in the city. Literally a short block from the most authentic Athens neighborhood, Psyri, where Greeks go to dine and drink and party! You cant find a bad restaurant. And it's only a short walk to the Acropolis, Thesia, Plaka, Little Kook, the central market, and other neighborhoods and sites to explore. The hotel is small, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beds are really nice. The staff is extrodinary - always helpful, informative, and courteous. They were knowledgable and proactively recommended and book excursions and transfers (taxis) for us, all of which were excellent. They really did everything possible to ensure we had an amazing experience in Athens. The included breakfasts, served on the rooftop with a great view of the Acropolis, are a cornucopia of delicious Greek delicacies. We had an early morning excursion and the staff went way out of their way and delivered to our room a basket of Greek pasteries, fruit, coffee, juice, and sandwiches so we "would not go without." This is a great place to anchor any trip to Athens! Highly recommeded!!!

Spacious rooms, very clean and equipped with a mini refrigerator and coffee machine. Excellente breakfast. Great staff, and Melissa in particular. The hotel dosn't have "free parking" as indicated on the website.

Good base to explore Athens

This is in a great area to stay in Athens and ideal for joining tours of Acropolis. We were supposed to have hot tub but did not which was not a big deal. But the pool being closed after 4pm on a 37C day was a big deal and not ideal when we planned our morning out around a swim when we came back! So my overall score reduced based on this.

Great rooftop view of Acropolis

Really nice boutique hotel. Close walking distance (10 mins) to Acropolis and main square. Very cool underground small pool and sauna area. Rooftop is teeny tiny for breakfast but great views of acropolis.

The location is close to many restaurants, bars, la plaka, monasteraki and 20 minute walk to the acropolis. Staff were very kind and made sure to answer any questions even suggesting places to visit. The breakfast was great especially on the roof top where the views of the acropolis are amazing. I’m glad our family chose to stay here while visiting Athens.

location in the heart of Athens, v close to all top attractions, nice view from the roof top to the Acropolis, very kind front desk service, all girls were very helpful and kind, very clean bed and rooms, however rooms and elevators very small, made for one person not more, no where to put our second bag, manager never responded to our concern regardless we have been told he is available 24/7, breakfast brought to us in basket, more of cold choices that are not very healthy and not our favorite to eat, it could be better

Great stay.

Fantastic and personal service. Staff remember you, as it is a small property. Very close to nightlife and dining options. Air conditioning is a wall unit which struggles in the very hot Athenian summer, but everything else is exceptional.

A wonderful stay at AC Acropolis. A fantastic service by the whole team from the moment you arrive at the hotel till you check out. It’s a small boutique hotel so the staff will get to know you and provide you with very personalized and friendly service with attention to detail. A room was huge, beds were so comfortable/plush and everything was so clean. A location is fantastic. A walking distance to the tourist spots (staff will be happy to help you getting around and providing you with recommendations). A rooftop had a fantastic view of Acropolis. There is no restaurant or bar on rooftop but a breakfast is served there and at night, we took a bottle of wine to enjoy the view of lit up Acropolis (and staff brought up some small finger food). A pool is more like a hot tub/jacuzzi and it’ll cost you an extra but for kids, it’s free up to 30 minutes (which is more than enough to enjoy the tub and sauna). I thought the price was very decent for the level and quality of service we received, location and the size/comfort of our room. Highly recommend if.

Loved this hotel even though we were only able to stay one night. Absolutely great staff, receptionist was so friendly and greeted us with fresh orange juice and wine. Amazing area, only a few minute walking distance to square/shops and restaurants. And the hotel helped to set up ride home to airport. Overall 10/10 would stay again and recommend highly to others.

The staff were outstanding. There are charming streets close by lined with restaurants. It's in easy walking distance of many Athens attractions plus a metro station. And there is a great view of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace.

A gem in the city. Staff was great bringing snacks and wine to sunset and the breakfast baskets on the rooftop were fantastic. Would definitely recommend starting here when looking for a place in Athens.

Great hotel and the manager was very helpful and friendly as well as the staffs

From even before we arrived the staff from AC Acropolis view couldn’t do enough for us. They kindly offered to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the airport and again from the hotel when we were leaving. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us the impression that nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and spacious and had everything we needed with the most spectacular views. We enjoyed the breakfast basket which was delicious and had everything you could want and more. The hotel is in a central location with everywhere we wanted to go within walking distance including the Acropolis. I would highly recommend this hotel and if you have booked to go you are in for a real treat. Don’t be put off by the graffiti as this seems to be quite common in this part of the City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Athens. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. I really hope we can visit Athens again in the near future.

Must stay!

Great property. Very convenient access to sites of interest. Great view of Acropolis. Staff was wonderful, very accommodating and helpful. They even made up a special breakfast for us because we were leaving earlier then normal time. Highly recommend.

Great location and helpful staff. Unfortunately, we needed sheets for the pullout bed after the staff had left for the day and were not able to get. We made do, but that was a bit of a miss. Also, we had an early flight upon departure. We communicated such and they arranged for transportation at 7:30am. They were going to "surprise" us with a breakfast at 7:15am, but unfortunately, nothing was provided. Wasn't a huge miss because we were not hungry at that time.

Very friendly

I came with my mom and daughter, we received a very spacious room with a separation between the two parts. Very clean, feels new. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Always there from opening the door to serve breakfast, always with a smile. Thank you 💖

Highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had the one bedroom suite with the “hot tub” and acropolis view. When I booked the room, I thought the balcony with the hot tub overlooked the acropolis, but this is not the case. The places to see the acropolis from the room are in the living room and bathroom. Also, the “hot tub” as listed in the description doesn’t get hot, it’s more of a cool down pool. The manager and all the staff are extremely warm and friendly. They assisted us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. They also arranged taxis for us. The location is very central and close to many main tourist attractions and restaurants. The breakfasts they serve are very generous portions and offer a variety of food choices.

We LOVED this hotel. It was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. Initially we were a little concerned because from the outside it doesn’t look great and the lobby is very small. Don’t be worried! It was awesome. Rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. The showers were great. Location is perfect to walk to everything you would want to see. And the Service is top notch. We all loved the free breakfast in the morning with the amazing view!

This place overall was amazing! Upon arrival, our host was so very sweet. She greeting us with some drinks and took her time regardless of us arriving late. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was amazing and just very pleased with the overall treatment from the staff. Walking distance is only 10 mins from acropolis and downtown area.

It was amazing!The staff was super friendly and service-oriented. The room very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was rich and tasty. My daughter and i enjoyed the Spa (we could book the place and then enjoy it in private). Also, the view from the roof garden was amazing, and we could enjoy a wonderful view (Acropolis). Definitely we will go again!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful and always there to assist in any way possible. The room was clean but the floors were a bit dirty with lots of female hair. The area was perfect and breakfast was amazing! Besides the hair situation, everything was amazing!

Our stay at AP acropolis view on the 5th floor was amazing! We enjoyed our outdoor hot tub and sitting area. Big main room, kids shared a sofa bed. Great view of Acropolis. Hosts were very attentive, welcoming, helpful, and made sure our stay was awesome. Helped with directions to areas for visiting in Athens. Located in Psiri, lots of great local restaurants. 6 min walk to Monastiraki square and metro. About a 15 min walk to the Acropolis. Would definitely recommend, and would come back to this hotel if travelling again to Athens.

Perfect location. Amazing hospitality and breakfast on the roof terrace was such a great way to start each day. If we’re ever back in Athens we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Highly Recommend!!

Staff was fantastic, always working to ensure we had a great time and pleasurable stay. The location was great as it was on the edge of an area with a lot of restaurants and shops so everything was generally at our fingertips. We were pretty central so getting to some of the major historical sites was easy.

We had an amazing stay here! I can’t recommend it enough. From start to finish, amazing hospitality, and warmth. Incredible breakfast up on a roof deck which you can view the acropolis. The owners could not have been nicer. The place was incredibly clean. The two bedroom suite was perfect for our family of four. Fantastic location, quiet Street, but close to the heart of it.

Great location everything walkable.staff could not do enough for you jumping to attention as soon as you leave/enter the hotel ask8ng if everything is ok and can they help.we had room with indoor hot tub and was excellent,view of the acropolis room hottub was amazing.bed was very comfortable,some privacy film on the doors to the balcony would have been good as it is accessed through bathroom and although there was a blind it was a bit of a pain putting it up and down,breakfast was great although far too much for us.sage,fridge ,hairdryer,straigntners,robes and slippers all in room.would I recommend yes,would I stay here again definitely

Beautiful apartments. Staff warm and inviting. They were so attentive! Huge breakfast every morning and because we had an early flight on Sunday, we would miss the Sunday breakfast so they brought it to our room the night before and put it in the refrigerator for us. Our last night there they had us go up to the rooftop brought us a wonderful glass of wine probably the best wine I've ever tasted in a very long time, and made our first trip to Greece, memorable and very pleasurable

The staff were great. Breakfast was substantial but only if you like the offering, we didn’t, but perhaps that’s just personal choice. Location was great.

I am furious that I have been charged twice for my stay at this hotel. I have been charged AUD 719 by EXPEDIA and AUD 595 by the hotel. Neither the hotel nor EXPEDIA has made any attempt to correct this. In all other respects the staff were very helpful.

First impression of the neighbouring buildings doesnt reflect the quality of this Hotel. Excellent service with clean accommodation. The staff go out their way to help. The beds and pilllows are really comfy so would highly recommend. Great quiet location regardless its only a couple minutes walk from a street of restaurants and bars.

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at. Staff were fantastic, friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. Breakfast was awesome! I didn’t even feel like I was just another guest. Properly is located in the center. However the property itself needs some updates. Also the breakfast location on top floor is extremely small. If you're family of 3 or more, be ready to be uncomfortable.

Best location, incredible staff! Welcome drinks, brought food to our room, helped with luggage, helped us booked transportation to airport. Truly made us feel right at home! We had an early flight so we were going to miss the breakfast and they brought a little basket of goods to our room to enjoy before we left. View of acropolis on the rooftop is amazing, room was big and clean with gorgous shower. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect hosts and location

The staff were very accommodating and super friendly. Perfect location centered near Plaka. Perfect view of the Acropolis. Beautiful room. Awesome breakfast basket, wine and treats in the room on returning after a long day out. Quaint roof top garden for evening drinks or breakfast. Would definitely return and recommend.

The staff we dealt with were all exceptional. The location is also ideal being very close to monastiraki square and many restaurants. Also, we had breakfast on the terrace which was very nice. For these reasons they are not getting a one star rating. There were ants in our room from the first day, and on the day we were leaving there was a big cockroach. We informed them about the ants and it seemed like they had gotten rid of them, however they kept telling us not to leave the window open because that could be how they are getting in which the housekeeping did every day.. I would never stay here again after seeing the big cockroach upon leaving.

Loved the breakfast..definitely would stay there again just for the breakfast. Staff was amazing. I didnt like the immediate location however just 5.mins walk away was.so beautiful.

Beautiful view of the Acropolis at night.

We got a wonderful reception from the young woman concierge upon arrival. She seemed happy to be there and even happy to be working there! That seems to be a unique situation in the US today! She had lots of information to give us about Athens. We stayed one night on the front end of our trip and coming back home for one night. Anything we needed she was right there with it. My only suggestion about the room would be some kind of place to lay your toiletries while getting ready for the day or getting ready for bed. Maybe a little table over by the bathroom sink?

Great hotel in Athens! Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to Plaka, Monastiraki, and the Acropolis. Panos and the rest of the staff were wonderful! Breakfast on rooftop with view of the Acropolis was amazing. Highly recommend!

AP Acropolis was a wonderful hotel in a great area of Athens. The staff was all very friendly, even helping make dinner reservations at an excellent place they recommended on our first night. They provided a tasty breakfast that we could have in our room or the rooftop terrace. The hotel provided us with transportation from the port to the hotel as well as from the hotel to the airport (for additional cost) that we greatly appreciated. Our particular room had an amazing view of the Acropolis/Parthenon. There were some minor “wear and tear” of our room, but nothing major. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and the room had AC, which was well needed during our stay. The elevator is meant for 1, or two smaller people, but glad there was one. Loved the location and that it was just a half a block from the very busy nightlife, so it was pretty quiet at night. I would certainly return to this wonderful small hotel.

Awesome place in Athens

Amazing views from the roof of the property. The breakfast had more food than we could possibly eat with breads, fruit, eggs, cereal, coffee, greek yogurt, local honey, and more. The hotel staff went the extra mile to ensure you knew where things were around and what was around. They helped us make arrangements to get to the airport in the early morning and gave us some tasty treats when they found we were going to miss the breakfast in the morning. All of the recommendations made by the front desk were spot on. The room was well appointed with plenty of towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, a fridge, and a comfy bed with clean linens. I will definitely choose this hotel when I go to Athens again.

Staff are very helpful and very accommodating. Provided us breakfast to go knowing we have early ferry ride the next day. Gave us time to do sauna and jacuzzi just for us, even giving us glasees of wine. So thoughtful. Thank you to the staff especially to Friday. There was another girl, I forgot her name. We had a blast during out stay.

It’s a great little hotel just a few blocks from the main drag. It’s got a nice view of the Acropolis from the rooftop. Some rooms have views of it too but depends on your room location. Was upgraded to the largest suite on our last day 👍👍. Staff is amazing- Dmitra, Pathos and the rest of the crew are very nice and very accommodating. Talk about personalized service! Highly recommend for families and couples.

Athens is great, but the service was special

So much to like here. The location is wonderful - one block from the best restaurant and bar district in the coolest Psyrri neighborhood, short walk to the Acropolis. The building is totally unique (many wonderful quirks) - our room had a hot tub with view of the Acropolis and the breakfast was served in the rooftop with the same amazing view. The highlight though was the amazing attentive service, and humor from the amazing Areti in the evening and Friday the next day - these two women are an absolute delight and made our overall trip just amazing with their care for us and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would come back just to see them again.

This is an amazing place. From the outside you would never know because you would drive right passed it. The inside is immaculately clean. The staff is so very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice and extremely clean. The view of the Acropolis is amazing. They have a beautiful rooftop where you can have breakfast and see the view. I absolutely come back here anytime.

This place was amazing! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, suggesting places to eat, shop, and sightsee. The Parthenon is close and the view from the rooftop is beautiful. The breakfast included was spectacular. Baskets of sandwiches, coffee, eggs, fruits, fresh juices, bread, meats and cheese. There was nothing else I could’ve wanted. We stayed 2 nights with 3 adults and 1 child and the room was perfect. Coffee and tea provided in the room. The room was clean, smelled fresh, and the air conditioning in each room was great.
