Wonderful place, yes I noticed construction during the day but it’s not hard to tune out. Staff is wonderful, food is good, and will definitely be a return for me. Only suggestion is better WiFi, but that’s an uptight selfish need of mine for gaming only lol

Miss leading pictures, but fine for the price.

The room was fine, but the whole place seemed a bit run down. We were literally the only people staying there. The picture of the pool is very deceiving as well. They make it look like its an infinity pool, however, it is not... The beach is non existent and its kind of dangerous to attempt swimming off the dock. Also, the food was not great and the bar tenders kept spilling our beers or running out of cold ones, so we drank most of them warm. Mix drinks were tiny martini glasses and not good. Theres also a very large sky rise hotel being built over top of the hotel, so we listed to construction noise the whole time, during the day. Staff was friendly though and it wasnt too far from the airport. The price was ok for what we got, but I'm not sure i would stay again.

Very quiet, small and out of the city resort! Loved it. Spacious rooms. Amazing and generous staff. The breakfast always hit the right spot. Would love to stay again.

Property advertising is inaccurate. No beachfront property. Food was good. Staff was accommodating and very friendly.

I hate writing reviews like this. Especially in the Philippines because I know how hard they try to have excellent customer service. This is not a reflection on the staff or restaurant, which were decent. We checked in to Aozora for a week stay over NYE. What the pictures show on Expedia is not what we encountered. Our room was dusty and there was black hair dried on the tub. Worst of all the carpet looked to be 20 years old with disgusting stains on it. Not the nice wood floors you see on the website. On the outside the pool was a disgusting green color. And the property looked in disrepair. We went to lunch and decided we would not be staying there for the holiday. We ended up staying two nights because the next place we picked didn’t have availability for the week. The pool stayed green for the two days we were there. Extremely disappointed with the misleading info on Expedia, and with the condition of our room. Would not recommend.

Very limited dining options

I really liked staying here. The rooms and surrounds are okay but the staff make this hotel really great. I stayed here for 2 weeks. I asked the cook, Sarah, to make my cornsilog in a slightly different way and she made it exactly how I described it. One morning she wasn't there and I was worried that I would need to explain again. Turns out that she had told all the other cooks how I like it so they knew how to make it without me having to explain it again. 😍 The masseuse is excellent - experienced and skillful! The front desk is superbly helpful. I wished to try taking a jeepney so Divayn explained what to say and how to pay. She even drew a map! 👍👍 All the staff always greet you with a smile and always try smooth and bumps I encountered. Some rooms are in an unfortunate place where it can be a bit noisy from all the construction etc going on outside. It is outside the hotel's control but the staff are great so I would stay here again.

Very nice and friendly service. Always helpful. Wifi was not good. The restaurant on site was good, but limited selections.

I would definitely recommend to my friends, relatives and Family, the place was very beautiful, overlooking and spacious at the same time...

Relaxing weekend stay

We had a relaxing stay at this resort. No frills but everything went well. We liked how plated breakfast with a touch of hot soup before the main dish arrives. Over all a nice place to getsome sun and sea air.

Jay and Raymond and the rest of the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and professional

No beach and we were so disappointed. Pool is dirty. Never got the chance to use. No nearby beach that we can visit. No nearby restaurants. We lived off through Grab food delivery. Food and services in the restaurant was good but the property obviously needs cleaning and update. The carpet in the hallway stink.

Staff and facility is great

It was a good place, and the service was excellent. The vibe is great in the hotel facilities. Sadly, when you go to the pool and the seaside, you will hear the noise from the construction beside the resort. I'd like to go back again when the construction is done.

I would not recommend

There's little I could say about this property, breakfast far from good, room old and need of renovation, steps, steps, steps everywhere, no elevator. Service acceptable. Laundry service very good.

I enjoyed my time at Aozora, however the main problem lay that it is still a new resort and many construction is happening around it. It still needs larger signage for the taxis to see it when approaching and is very hard to get a transport from the hotel. Aside from all this, the room was beautiful and spacious. air conditioner was strong. Minibar fridge perfect temperature

The pictures shown on the site page was fabulous. I was excited to stay and treat my fiancee to a great experience. When we arrived the staff greeted us with open arms. Sadly that was the only great thing about the place. We couldn't sleep because of construction. The pool even after being cleaned looked like a toilet. I cant continue to complain. I hope anyone reading this review should think twice about the decision.

The location and staff were excellent. At the time of my visit they were under expansion construction next door. APRIL 2023.

The hallway is smell like urine, swimming pool is full of green moulds, room smells washroom, room has a file of aunts .

Great Price for a TURD of a stay

Well I could tell the first few hours there it was going to be a BAD stay but it took me 2 days being held there because they wouldn’t cancel the reservation without charging me full price for me to realize just how BAD it was going to be SO the positives first breakfast was really good free parking free wifi the staff was kind and friendly NOW for the bad the twin beds were very hard to the point of being uncomfortable the window locks on the window were inoperable so someone could have gotten in our room luckily we were on the second floor so that would have been a little more difficult but just the same what they call hot water is a in line hot water heater that only heats the water sporadically so it just gets hot or warm then it has a cold spot and back and forth the whole time you are showering the pools yes they have two pools should be a positive you would think but they were murky and dirty looked like they were growing mosquito in a pond cloudy looking and then you get to the ocean view which again should be a positive and is maybe if you stay back about 100 yards if you get very close then your view is of a broke down half scraped boat tied to there dock no beach area at all down the steps straight to the ocean Oh and I forgot to mention that the cable television was not working at all while we were there I was told by surrounding villagers that the property is now owned by a Japanese person so it really is not the fault of the employees if things are being ignored

Seaside hotel

Good quality rooms and restaurant over all I would say 7 out of 10 the pool just needs to be cleaned and the hotel just needs to invest in a pool cover minimise the leaves that go into the pool

Good place for the money spent. No where to go off the property. Food anddrinks were very good and very reasonably priced.

Priced properly. Property was quite run-down. Staff were great.

Please contact Aozora Seaside. I requested for a refund of our 2 nights booking. A guy entered our room at 3am, Oct 30. He stole our money worth 5000 pesos. We left the hotel at 4:30am in the morning. Checked in Oct 29 at 8pm. We did not continue oir stay there due to the robbery happened. Very dangerous place to stay. First time in history that our money was stolen. Very very disappointed and bad experience ever!!!!

Staff are friendly, especially staff in the restaurant. However, the swimming pool was very dirty, not good for swimming. Toilet was broken, no flush. There was construction nearby the hotel, very noisy even in the early morning.

Nice large room and balcony overlooking the pool. Good breakfast. Felt cost of airport transport was high compared to getting a taxi. Not much outside the resort in terms of places to eat within walking distance. Hotel restaurant food was good on the whole but we did have one meal that was not which they did agree for us not to pay. Lost water to our room one night and electricity on the day we were checking out. Some building renovations in the room below ours. Good place to stay if you want to go diving and island hopping or just relax by the pool for a few days. Bring googles though a a lot of chemical in the pool. long list of channels for TV but most unavailable.

I liked that the place had a beach/water access. It had activities to do ( scuba diving and tours) on site.

Friendly service staff excellent room service and quality facilities. Don’t forget about an excellent restaurant on site.

This is my 2nd time booking this hotel

booked online through hotels.com the resort claimed they didn't receive my booking. They gave me a deluxe room for 2 nights and had to move to a room with 2 twin beds for 2 nights with daytime construction next door. Be prepared to pay 10% service fee.

Keep original conf to prevent being ripped off

An okay place to stay if you're a budget Traveler. However, make sure to keep your original confirmation which shows the breakdown between the per night Hotel rate and the additional taxes you prepaid in your booking or the hotel will try to rip you off and tell you that your prepaid reservation did not include the 10% tax and thus you will need to pay it to them upon check-in. Also, it took us about 20 minutes to check in as the hotel claimed that our reservation was not made by hotels.com but was made by expedia.com and that it was a reservation only and that it was not prepaid. The hotel then started to say that we needed to pay them for one night's room and tax if we wanted to stay there for the night that we had actually prepaid in advance for. When I informed them that I did not make a reservation through Expedia but instead prepaid for the night through hotels.com they claim to have no record of the prepayment. I then attempted to call hotels.com in the United States that hotels.com was closed at the time. I told them that I had the email from hotels.com and that it would take me awhile to find it as it was made pretty far in advance. As I was scrolling through all of my emails trying to find the email they then claimed that they found the prepayment but it did not include the taxes. I told them that I knew that I paid the taxes in addition to the nightly room rate and eventually showed them the email which broke out the nightly room rate and the taxes.

Recommended hotel

I recommend this hotel when you are in Mactan Island of Cebu City because of its good service and good welcoming reception, I booked three nights at this hotel, for the 1st and 2nd nights I stayed at the room that I booked but the last nigh I had to moved to another room because of the hotel’s booking system, but the hotel offered me a best type of room that was larger and bigger which I satisfied and appreciated it a lot.

Great, except it lacks security in the room, no double lock.

The room was very basic. The corridor stank as did the water in the shower, which only came out at a trickle.

Only just ok for budget hotel

Worst feature was no wifi in room and tv stopped and started. Lots of stairs down to pool as hotel is built into cliff. No beach at all. No supermarket close by. No wifi as signal is very weak, yet little reception room had perfect wifi. They need to upgrade or pay more for better wifi to room. Best rooms are Villa - room 6 and 8.

Construction all day

It was hard to enjoy the pool with the construction beside it. Food was above average, room was plain but serviceable.

Travelled 34 countries, numerous hotels, I dispize hotels misrepresenting themselves, pool was not clean and food was not good. I completely hold management responsible. Staff did there best. This place is not fit to be a hotel. I stayed for 5 nights. I do not give harsh reviews unless deserved. This is a one star hotel at best.

Nice hotel right off the beach

I love the room! After travelling long from Badian, all we wanted was to rest, and so when we're taken to our room, I suddenly felt relaxation and comfort. I love the soft white sheets, the balcony, and the tub! Cheap resort option right next to the most expensive ones! The staff are all so nice. They communicate in English and with a smile. What a sweet bunch!

Nice, but we had to take a ride to beach

Quiet and peaceful, off the beaten path. It's an amazing and beautiful garden setting with pool and view of ocean. Really cute animals. I loved their poodle mix dog- Asia.

Clean and spacious for a low price

The hotel exceeded my expectations. For a very low price I got a clean room with a big bed. The pool is great and the hotel restaurant is cheap. The only minus is that there is no proper beach, and there's not a lot to do in the area. The staff is very helpful with finding a taxi or a Jeepney.

娘の初海外旅行でしたが、スタッフの方たちの仲の良さ、フレンドリーな感じにとても癒されました。アイランドシュノーケリングツアーに参加したのですが、海はもちろん綺麗でしたが、 スタッフ達の心遣いがとても良かったです。スタッフのジャンジャン！ありがとう！とても楽しかったよ！

お値段がお安い割に、マッサージやプール、レストラン等揃っており長期的に宿泊出来る。朝焼けも感動的なほど美しい。

Front desk staff was really welcoming and very helpful. We appreciate that our room was upgraded due to some problems, however in the bathroom the ceiling was leaking and yellow water was dripping to the toilet seat. The shower pressure was weak. Overall we enjoyed our stay because of the friendly staff! The view was amazing from our window and the swimming pool was great.

マクタン島の海沿いでプールもあり快適に過ごす事ができるホテルです。スタッフさんも皆親切で笑顔で対応してくます。シャワーもお湯がでるので困りませんでした。レストランも朝食は色んなメニューから選べ、美味しかったです。ディナーでも何度かレストランを利用しましたが、街中のフィリピン料理より美味しかったです。旅本に載っているレストランにも何店舗かいきましだがこちらのレストランの方がゆっくり食事ができ味も良いのでおすすめです。元々ローカル感を味わいたくてこちらのホテルを選んだのですが、とても快適に過ごす事ができました。

海に面していれどビーチは無し。単なる桟橋があるのみ。 部屋は広く、オーシャンビューで無くともベランダと相まって景色は悪くない。 シャワーの水圧は弱い、ヘッドから水が分散しすぎ、更にシャワーカーテンも無いのでトイレと共に水浸し。トイレの水が流れないことがありスタッフに対応依頼で解決策。 近所の屋外から深夜までライブ音が流れている。すぐ隣のホテルが建設工事中。 良くも悪くも値段なり。

The delax room and family rooms are big and good enough space to stay,and price is also cheaper than I thought. The staffs are so kind and helpful. Some of them can speak Japanese, so it's easy for Japanese to commuoicate each other! The seaview is also fabulous!

マクタン島のリゾートエリアにある海に面した素晴らしい立地のホテルです。日本人の方が経営されていて、スタッフも親切に対応して頂けます。レストランも併設していて、プールもあり、充実した日々を送れます。空港からも、自動車で渋滞がなければ２５分、フェリーターミナルも、徒歩10分圏内、近くの繁華街、ニュータウンまでは、徒歩３０分、交通機関利用で10分です。素晴らしいセブの綺麗な海を満喫するのに、とても良い施設です。

Started bad: no staff at check-in (if there are guests to come, there should be somebody). The fittings were messy (not just dirty) and bad fixed. In the bathtub you always have the feeling to break through. No warm water. TV is absolutely not working (so I pulled the plug), wifi bad. Breakfast variety is awful. Staff is very friendly, beds were clean. Read carefully about room service! Two and a half stars definitely are minimum two stars to much! Sorry, never again!

En väldigt bra vistelse

Fint Hotell. Fina rum, med balkong Seaview. Ingen strand, men en pir. Att gå ut på. Där djupet är så man kan simma direkt. Bra frukost Nära Mactan New Town 2 1 km. Även nära till La Vei. 800m. En Väldigt bra vistelse.

併設のレストランの料理はなかなか美味しいです。ものによっては量が多すぎるので一気に注文せず様子を見ながらの方が良いと思います。 シャワーのお湯はバスルームごとに湯沸かし器がついていますが、水圧が低いので涼しい日に浴びると暖かさが足りません。 部屋の掃除はお客様からリクエストがあったときにのみ対応なので、外出時にフロントでお願いすることを忘れないようにしましょう。 ビーチはありますが、砂浜ではなく、船着き場があるだけです。白い砂浜で日光浴をしたいのなら近くのビーチリゾートのデイユースがおすすめです。

移動手段が少ないが、日本語が通じるスタッフがいるので特に問題なかった。

A bit of disappointment

The resort was ok but i think after odette they werent able to maintain the whole hotel. Pool was very dirty. Beach was kinda lame. Outside furnitures was destroyed or unfunctional. Basic breakfast. Room has no tv.

It was a very satisfying accommodation, and the owner and the staff of this accommodation were sooooo kind and considerate. I will definitely visit this accommodation again next time, and I'm sure it will be hard to find a place as good as this accommodation in CEBU. thank you very much for everythings!! :)

Un hôtel minable sans entretien

On nous a octroyé une chambre avec un climatiseur extrêmement bruyant et la deuxième proposée sentait le moisi et donnait directement sur un mur comme la première également. Je vous parle de la chambre numéro 1 et numéro 9

シャワーの水圧がもっとほしい

アクティビティが隣接した所にあるので、色々不安な事なども聞けたし、後のアフターケアもしてくれて、もても良かったです。 レストランもお手頃で美味しいですし、出発が早い日の朝食はサンドイッチを作ってくれたので、とっても助かりました。

３階への階段のみ、疲れた時は辛かったのですか、それ以外は問題無く、良いホテルでした。

Ouderwetse kamer in het 'nieuwe gedeelte'. Slecht bed, ouderwetse badkamer. Het hotel lijkt TOTAAL NIET op de foto's. Personeel is vriendelijk. Restaurant stelt niets voor, daar is het personeel slecht. De omgeving is niet bijzonder, ver weg. Het enige goede is dat er op loopafstand een Italiaans restaurant zit: Giuseppe. Ga daar heen!

フロントでタクシーをお願いしたら、日曜日でつかまらないと言うことでスタッフが送ってくれた。帰りもタクシーがつかまりずらいかもしれないと買い物の間待っていてくれたので、とても助かりました。 設備でバスタブの水が流れが悪いとフロントに言ったら、すぐに見に来てくれたのは良かったが、結局改善されてなかった。日本人オーナーと言うことあって、スタッフは日本人向けに教育されていると感じました。総合的にすごく満足でした。

午前3時出発のツアーに参加する時にも、朝食を用意して下さったのには驚きました。 日本人スタッフの松本タクマさんには、特にお世話になりました。 大感謝です(^_−)

New wing に宿泊。部屋は広くて清潔。ベッドは固め。部屋のバルコニーが海向きでは無く横向きなのが残念。部屋のシャワーは自分で点火して温水にするタイプ。夜気付かなくて冷たいシャワーなんだと勘違いした。朝改めて温水シャワーを浴びた。アメニティは石鹸と歯ブラシ、何故か髭剃り。シャンプーコンディショナー持参のこと。朝ご飯は美味しい。マッシュルームスープもとて美味しかった。コーヒーがインスタントなのが残念。プールは深めの四角いプール。

Lapu lapu n'est pas le rêve que l'on croit

Petit resort trés calme... Chambre simple et propre.. Wifi très lent Douche et baignoire avec eau chaude ok.. Dédié aux plongeurs japonais ... Jolie grande terrasse arborée Petit déjeûner simpliste ... riz avec tranche de jambon ou poulet ou saucisse. !!! Café en sachet et eau chaude... !!! horrible pour les vrais amateurs de café !! Cuisine locale simple et sans fioritures Petite piscine super chlorée .... Accés direct à la mer et trés peu de fond pour nager Desk service correct... rien d'extraordinaire

プールやレストランなど公共の場の清掃状況良かったです。スタッフの応対も良く滞在を楽しめました。部屋によるのかもしれないが、シャワーの勢いがないのが少々不便でした。お湯の使えない時間帯もあり。次回は広い方の部屋に泊まってみたい。

Ok budget Hotel but don’t have high expectations.

Good value for money compared to the bigger hotels. Not impressively so though. Very friendly staff compensates a bit. Simple restaurant, but food is OK.
