Friendly staff, let us check in early, park right outside room, laundry nearby with free detergent, large clean room with fully stocked kitchen. We ate dinner one night at the Hermitage Hotel and preferred this hotel and were glad we didnt pick Hermitage to stay at because this motel felt quieter and more easily accessible. It was the best choice in Mt Cook for us. The only improvement would be that it's a row of motel rooms and some, like ours, had some of the mountain views blocked by other motel rooms. It seemed one row of rooms had unobstructed views of Mt Cook mountains, so I'm not sure how to request one of those rooms, but it would have been an even better stay than our already pretty great stay if i had booked one of those rooms. Highly recommend this motel.

Convenient to Mt Cook hiking.

Clean, great views, comfortable

For the price, probably one of the closest places one can stay to Mt. Cook trailhead area. Views are amazing! The place is clean, well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Will stay there again.

Great room, well appointed and had everything I needed in the kitchen for cooking a simple dinner. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great with a big spa tub. Everything was sparkling clean and I really enjoyed the fabulous coffee machine and they give you a little bottle of milk when you check in for your coffee or tea. I also had great views. Super place I highly recommend.

Perfect motel for Mount Cook visit

We were very pleased with our stay at Aoraki Court Motel. The room is spacious, comfortable and the kitchenette is perfect for making some meals. We really appreciated the warm welcome, cleanliness of our room and the Nespresso machine :) We would definitely stay here again as it is close to some trails and walking distance to restaurants. Beautiful views from our room as well and a friendly Paradise Duck couple

This room was excellently designed, furnished, and maintained. If only all hotel rooms could be this nice and well equipped! The kitchenette was well designed with the basics, and the bedroom area was very spacious and comfortable.

Excellent room with a beautiful view. Room is large, clean, very good cooking supplies, spa tub was appreciated. Incredible view of mountains. Bed was supposed to be a king, but seemed a little smaller. We stayed for 3 days and loved it!

Surprised snow

Our rooms were modern and spacious, and we were warm in the cold weather. We had two rooms, 6 and 7. Room 6 had a long window with views of the snowy mountains, where room 7 didn’t as it adjoined room 6.

Tranquility,comfort and views!

This was the perfect little hideaway to base myself to enjoy the beauty of Mt Cook. A friendly welcome, a parking spot right outside my unit, and a spacious and comfortable room with my own little veranda looking right out to the breathtaking mountain views. Peaceful and comfortable and away from the crowds, with restaurants just an easy stroll away.

Wonderfully relaxing stay

We had a wonderfully, relaxing stay at this motel. Lovely, welcoming reception, clean and comfortable room, renovated bathroom, kitchenette equipped with everything you need and great views of the glorious snow capped mountains.

A piece of paradise surrounded by the majestic Mount Cook/Aoraki mountain ranges. We had a wonderful stay at Aoraki Court motel, the views are incredible and the staff were all amazing. Thank you so much!

Amazing stay

It was amazing! I have no regret for booking this hotel! The view is as equally awesome! The comfort of the room and living room is brillant!

One of the best hotel we have seen in our 11 days NZ trip. Best location, best glacier view from room, very specious room, comfortable bedding, and cleanest bathroom. Worth every penny. Must stay here in Mount Cook

Very comfortable, very clean, good cooking facilities, good customer service

Very clean and spacious. loved the white sheets. Plenty of hot water. Nice office lady. Didn't like opening up the sliding door curtain and look right at other people.

I would stay here again

Nice comfortable room, good heating which is very handy for a wintery stay. Views were great from the sliding doors and windows being surrounded by snow capped mountains.

Friendly service, lovely room, spectacular setting

Great from the moment I arrived! Very easy, friendly and prompt check in. My studio was beautiful & clean, bathroom had plenty of towels, kitchen well equipped with everything you need to cook your food. Was warned of building work in front of my front but none actually happened while I was there and the equipment in front of my room didn’t take away from the breathtaking views! Very comfy beds with amazing pillows, quiet and well located. Housekeeping came every day to replenish towels, tea, coffee etc. One of the best places I’ve stayed during my trip around NZ!

Great place to stay in Mount Cook Village

The room was excellent with very nice cooking facilities. The view was also spectacular except unfortunately we were not aware at the time we booked that construction would be going on right outside our door somewhat blocking the view with workers there from about 8:30 - 5. It was not noisy but did distract from the beauty of the view. Still would recommend.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the kitchenette well provisioned. The location was excellent with a good restaurant and bar, the Chamois, only 5 mins walk away.

Great place

Very nice hotel with beautiful views of the mountains. Really close to the park and ranger station. Highly recommended option if you don’t want to stay at the hermitage

This was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand. We had a fantastic view of the glaciers on Mt. Sefton from our expansive window. The unit itself contained a 2 burner stove and this enabled us to cook our own meals. The unit was really clean, the staff friendly & helpful. Can only hope to return someday! A

Clean, spacious, good amenities

Amazing view and access to trails. View of the Tasman glacier from the trail was stunning. Hooker valley trail also memorable. We enjoyed the planetarium show at the Hermitage since the sky was too cloudy for actual viewing.The documentary at the museum on Ed Hillary. was fascinating

Super clean and convenient. Great lighting keeping it light inside and kitchenette was easy to use and loved the espresso maker. Would stay here again!

Loved our stay and fortunate to have good weather to enjoy the area. As the description says, there are limited facilities available for food, so plan accordingly and fill your tank.

Beautiful location! Simply amazing.

Amazing views outside your window of the mountains and the ever changing weather to go with it. Facilities were new and clean. Room incredibly insulated; they have a heater but you don't need it even in late winter/ early spring. Though it's 4 degrees outside at night time, inside is toasty and comfortable. I'll definitely stay again.

These units are a bit plain but very clean and spacious. Staff was very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a great stay. Definitely more expensive than other places because within the park and it’s an extremely walkable location. The views were wonderful from my room, kitchenette was clean and ready for use, and the jacuzzi tub was fabulous after some longer hikes. Thank you!

Know before you stop at grocery

Great location and enjoyed having a hot tub in our room. Great views, spacious, clean and comfortable. Learning we couldn’t cook spicy food or seafood in our kitchenette AFTER we arrived was a bit disappointing, but they have a kitchen in the office we were able to use before they closed at 7. Would have liked a Do Not Disturb sign as we’d prefer to skip housekeeping for our short stay. There are none in use at the whole place. Fiona and Rex were attentive and kind.

The room is very good.

Heater works well. Hot water was easily accessible. Room was clean and spacious for 2 of us. View of mountain was great.

Everything was i great shape, it is convenient and quiet.

Great stay by the park. We had to check in late and they were very accommodating. Definitely recommmend.

Think before choosing

The motel is not clean. Although it had a spa shower room, the bath tub was dirty and we did not use it. We also felt itchy when sleeping on the bed whole night. The room has to be checked out at 10am and late check out more than 30 mins will be charged for NZ$50.

Stunning view from our room

We had an amazing stay here, the only thing that would have made it that little bit better was if the room had air con as it was such a hot day when we arrived. All in all though we would definitely stay again! Thanks

Big bathtub

Extremely clean and well maintained

Though small motel but well equipped. Much cheaper than the major hotel on mount cook village. Just that the only cafe, the mountaineer cafe is closed. So no other cafe available except the one in the major hotel

Fabulous room with great spa. Weather was not great but room was spacious and very comfortable. Clean and well appointed. Bed very comfortable. On a good day the view would be amazing. Highly recommend.

I really like the view from the room, very impressive. I also like the kitchenette, complete enough to make breakfast or dinner. Definitely will stay here again.

Large clean rooms with great views!

We loved it! Rooms are huge and very clean. We arrived late and I mentioned how hungry I was and was given milk. How lovely. Our room also had a beautiful Mountain View. Checkout and checking was a breeze as well! Things to note: The only restaurant in this area would be at another hotel- the hermitage (buffet) so I suggest bringing your own food to cook. The reception does however provide snacks and instant noodles to buy and cook so all’s well.

Great motel right in Mount Cook. Spacious and comfortable room. Very clean.

Bed is a bit softer than our liking, othereise everything else is okay

Fabulous view of snow capped peaks. Very warm and roomy. The host were super good at looking after us when we were snowed in for an extra night.
