Anya Hotel

This hotel offers great value for money in a part of Paris which is less well known to tourists but still very accessible - 20 minutes by metro from Gare du Nord or Gare de Lyon. There are a variety of restaurants and cafes nearby, including "Chez Papa" specialising in food from SW France. A great place for a stop over ot even for a longer stay in Paris.

The staff were wonderful and the property was exactly as described!

Very convenient location. Not pretentious. The real Paris. Ungentrified. Staff were friendly and helpful. No elevator, so not for the pampered or people not fit enough to schlep their luggage up the stairs.

Not so hot really. No lift, small room with no view to speak of (straight across into other rooms’ windows) so not the City View I was promised, tea and coffee faciilities not available. Bathroom very cramped and poor

Great neighborhood

Towels need to be replaced as ours ha a hole. At the first night we arrived, entire hotel smells spices. And, the noise from hotel owner's downstairs, e.g. TV, wasn't shut well (our room is 3rd floor, or 2nd floor in French). Cheap eats nearby.

Bare bones travel

If you are on a budget, this hotel will do. It is conveniently located near a metro and a McDonalds. There is no elevator so good luck with the heavy suitcase on the spiral staircase. They only provide one room key but you can have one made at a nearby key store for 2euro. The Algerian owners are very friendly but sometimes there was a language problem since I don't speak French.

Very small

Very small, closet sized rooms. Staff not helpful. You are paying solely for the location and that's it.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Worst experience ever, room was disgusting with cigarrette odor all over the place, very small bathroom and the soap and shampoo were OLD, when I mean old is that we could 't used it. Room is hot and there is no a/c or fan and you can't open the window because there is a lot of noise. So bottom line DON'T MAKE A MISTAKE!!!

Easter in Paris

I stayed here for 4 nights. The long and the short of it is that it is not the place to take your family. If you are one person on a budget, it gives you a place to sleep and shower. Otherwise, you should accept that Paris is not a cheap city to stay in. This hotel resembles hostiles and European pensions, rather than a hotel. The staff, especially the young man at the desk, are friendly and helpful. The best thing about it is the location. It is situated 5 minutes from the metro number 9. As the rest of Paris, there are a host of cafes and brasseries within walking area. The neighborhood is also ok. I walked along Blvd Voltaire late at night and there did not seem anything odd. Overall, ok for one person.

Overall, decent for the price.

Very close to Voltaire station, ATM, a nice breakfast place, several tiny grocers, and a laundromat. Picturesque from the outside. Something in the hotel broke, but was fixed the next day. The staff are all pleasant and willing to test out their English. Shower is a bit weird being next to toilet, but at least it's in your room! Our stay was pretty well rounded for a cheap hotel in Paris.

Right for the price!

Not worth it unless on a tiny budget

I had to move from the near by Hotel Candide as that was full and for only 5 euros less I went from luxury to purgatory. 5 flights of stairs no lift, ok for me but more unfit people would suffer! the room was small and beding older than me. The toilet was still dirty from the previous customer. It was late and I couldn't be bothered in complaining as it was 1 night and 5 flights of stairs nope! Shower was ok and person on desk friendly enough. Noise from outside room went on till 2am and I got bites from the bed. Lucky I was only there for a few hours. HIGHLY unrecommended when you can pay a little extra for somewhere much better only 3 mins away.

Hotel Anya i Paris - ok budget hotell

Hotel Anya is an ok budget hotel, in a nice neighbourhood with a several pitoresque breakfast places near by. Simple but clean room and bathroom, good bed. Everybody was nice to us! The only problem was that we could hear every noise from other rooms, even with an ear plugs on. So you need a good luck with a calm neighbours!

Good Hotel but mind the CURFEW

I checked into the hotel on Saturday and was promptly informed that I would have to return Saturday evening before 1am. This is something I needed to know before arriving because I booked the hotel and had nowhere else to go. A 1am curfew is ridiculous, especially since it was a Saturday night. This was simply a ridiculous expectation.

L'hôtel est assez ancien. Toutefois l'essentiel y est. Très bonne literie et calme. Pas loin de commerces et de la gare de Lyon

Un hôtel simple et pratique pour un court séjour professionnel. Sa situation et son offre de prix ont emporté ma décision lors de ma réservation. idéal pour les petits budgets

Die Lage vom Hotel war sehr gut.Das Hotel war in der Nähe vom U-Bahn (metro)ca.200m. Das Zimmer war klein, aber für eine Person ausreichend.Die Dame an der Reception war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.Leider gab es keinen Wasserkocher im Zimmer,die Hotelinformation stimmte leider nicht ganz.Ich hollte in der früh das heisse Wasser vom Personal des Hotels.Sonst sehr sauber und ruhig.

nuit difficile

Je réserve une chambre à 54E ,je reçois le mail de réservation . Puis je reçois mail d'Hôtels.com m'indiquant que l'hôtel n'a pas pu vérifier la validité de la carte et a annulé la réservation. Je retourne sur le site et réserve à nouveau une chambre au même hôtel ,il n'y a plus de chambre à 54E mais à 75E...Je réserve à 75 E et ma carte est acceptée ...Je me suis fait avoir. Chambre simple ,mais très bruyante :le locataire de la chambre voisine prends une douche à 4h du matin ,on entends tout..

Hotel un peu vieillissant pour la deco des chambres mais l'accueil est très chaleureux et très sympathique. Ce qui est rare sur les hôtels parisiens. En tout cas j'y retournerai

Kleines Hotel nahe Place Voltaire

Leider bietet das Hotel kein Frühstück an. 5 Stockwerke ohne Aufzug. Sehr einfache aber saubere Zimmer. Dusche ohne Vorhang oder Abtrennung; d.h. wenn man duscht, wird auch die Toilette und das Waschbecken nass, da das gesamte Bad ca. 90 mal 90cm groß ist.

Hotel pratique !

Si vous désirez dormir une ou deux nuits cet hôtel sera agréable pour vous, le personnel est très sympa bien sûr la douche n'est pas très spacieuse mais on ferme les yeux sur ce détail lorsqu'on y dort pour une ou deux nuits. J'ai retrouvé une tache de sang voir même deux sur mon drap en arrivant dans la chambre...mouais. C'est le seul point négatif que je pourrais encore dire.

Et godt og billigt anbefalingsværdigt hotel

'Anya' er et mindre hotel med en god beliggenhed, kort afstand til metro og indkøb/spisesteder. Området er typisk fransk, uden det store rend af turister, hvilket gør kvarteret attraktivt. Venligt fransk personale, som taler engelsk, ikke flydende men forståeligt, og som gerne hjælper med forslag til Paris. Bad/toilet er i samme lokale, ingen små brusekabiner. Nye håndklæder og sæbe/shampoo hver dag. Et godt og billigt hotel i franske omgivelser, absolut anbefalingsværdigt.

Bonne situation, proche metro, hotel calme mais pas de service de petit déjeuner. La cmambre très petite et la salle de bain est minuscule, la literie quand à elle mériterait d'être changée. D'apparence propre, il s'avère que le ménage n'ait fait qu'en surface (belle couche de poussière sur l'armoire). Je n'ai pas réussi à fermer complètement la fenêtre... Il est certain que je ne resérjournerai pas dans cet hôtel.

hôtel pratique et acceuillant

Hotel agréable idéalement placé. Accueil très sympathique, si le ménage était correct, il y avait néanmoins des cendres de cigarettes dans la poubelle dont l'odeur était fortement désagréable dans la chambre. L'ensemble reste un rès bon rapport qualité prix

Il y a eu une erreur sur ma date d'arrivée par hotel.com que j'avais eu au telephone. Je suis arrivé un jour apres. Hotelier ne m'a pas fait payer une nouvelle nuitee. Geste commercial tres appreciable

Møg beskidt

Der var så beskidt at jeg fandt et andet hotel samme aften jeg checkede ind- Sengetøjet var ikke blevet skiftetog alt var nusset og fedtet- kan IKKE snbefale det!!

Pas de confort. Pas d'ascenseur. Pas même de séchoir. A part cela bon accueil et réceptionniste serviable.

Un hôtel pas trop cher et correct.

L'hôtel est simple mais propre. Le personnel est agréable. Cela permet de dormir à Paris pour pas trop cher. Inconvénient : pas de petit déjeuner possible (cependant des cafés du quartier en proposent). Inconvénient n°2 : pas de charme particulier.

Mindre bra

Hotellet har ett bra läge, med nära till både Marais och området kring Bastille. Lite i övrigt att önska vad gäller hotellrummet - vi fick bara ett badlakan trots att vi var två som bodde i rummet. Ingen duschkabin gjorde att hela badrummet blev vått. Ingen AC. Skulle inte rekommendera det, även om personalen var tillmötesgående.

En plein Paris ...

Un hôtel à l'ancienne, avec des humains pour nous accueillir, et pas simplement un lecteur de CB :-) A l'ancienne aussi, le look rétro : pas d'ascenseur, un escalier en colimaçon, des couloirs étroits, une chambre petite mais propre, une salle d'eau avec douche et toilettes, un grand lit et la télé. Le tout genre "chambre d'étudiant sous les toits", ce qui à Paris a son charme, et peut rappeler ses jeunes années :-) Accueil chaleureux, très proche d'une station de métro, bref, globalement correct pour un hôtel premier prix à Paris.

à éviter !

Chambre minuscule, draps sales. Pas de bouilloire contrairement à ce qui est annoncé. Beaucoup trop de bruit le soir et très tôt le matin! Seul bon point , lemétro qui est à côté. Je ne vous conseille pas cet hôtel, c est le seul point noir de notre séjour! !

Anya Hotel Review

Basically I've satisfied with ths hotel. I stayed in this hotel for 9nights and I think this is one of the cheapest hotel as single room with bathroom you can find in this area. It locates close to the metro station and there are many restaurants near the hotel and also a convinent store opens till late night. Reception speaks English and was kind to me. Internet was usable, but signal is not that strong and also have to re-log in every time when you loose the signal. The room was not cleaned for the weekend, but was taken care of for the week days. Hotel closed after 2am, but you can get in by entering the passcode at the front door. The room is tiny, but for me it was ok cuz didn't spend much time in the hotel.
