Highly recommended 5star service and hospitality
Excellent Family run Hotel. Food is too good. It's not a Five Star rated but apart from cosmetics everything is better than 5 Star Rated. Nice bunch of people. Highly recommended. Little bit concerned of writing too good a review as it may get costlier and difficult to book next time!
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Anuraag Villa made us feel like we were home away from home. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. Room service was the best it could be and the staff made us feel so welcomed and care for. We will always stay at Anuraag Villa when we visit Jaipur in the future.
Good
Lovely local stay
We came to Jaipur for a wedding and stayed here for 3 nights prior. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpfull (even remebering our breakfast order). There is a lovely garden with Peacocks. As we arrived late the last night, they kept the kitchen open for us and brought a lovely dinner to our room. The villa arranged a taxi pick up from the airport (very reasonable price) and since it was Diwalli, the taxi driver gave us a tour round the lights on the way to the hotel. We had friends to visit and pick us up but if alone, there is a friendly Tuk Tuk driver at the hotel who will happily be your guide for the day. This is a very local hotel and helps to immerse westerners in India life. It was clean and provided us with what we needed. Thank you for a lovely stay
Staff is very friendly and competent. Very attentive to guest needs in recommending honest, reliable transport around Jaipur. The building is lovely and the food at the restaurant is delicious. Highly recommend.
Quiet, serene location ,attentive staff, clean rooms good room service
Comfortable and lovely place. And staffs are nice.
The staff were wonderful.. The food excellent. We loved the garden and location. The ground floor room we had looked out to a brick wall and a bit noisy but the price excellent. We would go back to and highly recommend the hotel.
Beautiful courtyard
Really lovely charm to this hotel. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the courtyard is a delight. I love the fact you can sit in the courtyard and watch the peacocks wonder in. The staff here are very attentive making the stay all the more pleasant.
Awesome Budget hotel. Book it!
We booked this hotel because it was near the JP train station and had some good reviews. It was one of those deals that looks too good to be true. It is a GREAT budget hotel. AC was great and was probably the cleanest budget hotel I have ever been to including US and Europe. Also, the details like light switches and light fixtures were new and clean. Artwork on the wall was beautiful. We ordered room service. Really quality Indian food. Fast reliable service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone because the price to quality ratio is going to be hard to match.
well worth a visit
Friendly efficient staff, good food, beautiful garden for dining in. A low noise oasis in Jaipur with good rooms and wifi, and well priced, what more could you want.
Everything as advertised - clean, good food, good service, 24 hours reception, WiFi. Would definitely stay here again.
Very nice group of guys working for hotel
Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, Purshottam taxi driver star man
Good price for your money
Excellent home type hotel.. very cosy and friendly staff, especially Pankaj at front desk. The rooms are clean, the food is great but only veg. There are some non-veg eateries nearby. The back yard garden is nice and often is visited by peacocks. A gentleman playing the flute entertains every morning while having breakfast. We had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit Jaipur.
A lovely little hotel..
A lovely little hotel in the heart of the city with a lovely garden with peacocks frolicking in it. The sound of the flute floating v through it windows in the morning is magical. The staff is helpful and attentive and take good care for ur stay to be pleasurable one...
Good place to stay
Very surprised when we arrived after had very bad experiences in previous cities, we just loved Anurag Villa, and we missed already. Nice room, good decoration, especially the ceiling painting and marble floors. We had every meals at the Restaurant, the staff very polite and kind, always happy to help you.I just have good things to say about this Hotel, you can book it with confidence. Very nice patio also, the true is that looks better than the photo you can see online.
Staff are excellent
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I can't speak more highly of each and everyone of them. Clean area with easy access to station and our favourite restaurant The Peacock rooftop restaurant. (We did have a car and driver)2.5km. Nice garden to lay back and chill.
Great gardens
This hotel has a great garden to sit in and relax or have a meal and watch the peacocks. Vegetarian food was very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly. Only cons was construction next door and my room (106) was adjoining the kitchen which was open about 6am to late and generated some noise.
Great value!
This place is like an oasis in a big city. There is a small garden that connects with the restaurant that is very peaceful. In the mornings, there is a flute player that plays while you eat and relax. Wonderful ambience! The food is good with a variety of both Western and Indian options. The rooms are each unique with great detail in decoration. Very clean and big washrooms. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They arranged a car for us and provided complementary transportation from the railway station which is only 10 minutes away. Overall, an excellent stay and we wished we stayed longer.
Very friendly and efficient staff made my stay very pleasant
Great hotel with amazing garden
Really lovely staff that made us feel welcome. The hotel restaurant is great, delicious food. Lovely location with a beautiful garden to relax in.
Quiet neighborhood
Quiet neighborhood. Good service. They even researched our train tickets and called us while we were out sightseeing to let us know our options. Breakfast in the garden was nice. Wifi fluctuated.
Lovely and peaceful place with excellent staff
The hotel looks freshly renovated, the garden is amazing, rooms are nice and clean. That is only topped by the always helpful, friendly, and excellent staff!
very good
good enjoyed comfortable except improvement on lighting is required, improvement in toilet like exhaust, tooth brushes/paste be provided. Food was excellent, staff courtous. But booking should be taken on phone also.
A trip to Jaipur
It was a pleasant stay at Anuraag Villa. The ambiance was awesome. Hotel staff was very very cooperative. Lawn of the hotel is marvelous with peacocks roaming around. Food was too much tasty. Hats off to chef.
Absolute gem
Mid-price hotel tucked away down side street about halfway between railway station and old city. Super staff, very friendly service, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Excellent veg restaurant. Lovely quiet garden to relax in. Best hotel we stayed at in India.
Great hotel, wonderful staff
The staff at the hotel are all really friendly and kind and willing to help with any request. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the food in the restaurant is delicious.
Very good value for money!
We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Being away from the main road, the neighborhood was quiet, and we enjoyed sitting in the lawns outside in the evening. Hotel staff was courteous and helpful in everything.
We had the pleasure to stay twice here on our recent trip. Once for two nights and then just one night on our way back to Delhi. Rooms basic but very clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast cheap and varied. We also had other meals which were also good. If you're lucky a peacock may join you for your meal in the garden!
Brilliant place with super-helpful staff
Stayed for 3 nights over Holi and had a fabulous time. Hotel staff (especially the Manager) went to endless trouble to make our stay enjoyable. We celebrated Holi with the staff in the beautiful garden. Fab stay!
Home Away from Home
I have been to many big-name and multi-starer hotels in India and abroad in my lifetime, but this very neat and friendly hotel have caught my attention. I stayed for 3 nights with 2 other adults and an infant, and the stay was really enjoyable. The cleanliness, the nice green lawn which were frequently visited by peacocks, the smiling staff always ready to help - were the keys to this fabulous experience. When I am going to Jaipur again, I will make sure to stay there again.
Lovely quiet place for the night
Great overnight before a day of sightseeing. Front desk offered to exchange smaller bills when I came from ATM with only 1000r notes. So very considerate and helpful! Lovely garden cafe, look for peacocks and peahens! Ice cream was dissapointing- actually terrible- but tea and toast were spot on. Room and bed were very large, typical Indian style furnishings. Wifi and cable available.
A nice hotel to stay in Jaipur
We had a very nice stay at the Anuurag Villa. We really appreciate to be far away from the noise of the street. The room was confortable and the restaurant was very good. The most was the staff who was very kind and helpful. A special thanks to Om who helps us to solve a problem we had with the travel agency. It's a good price- quality ratio also. We recommend completely this hotel.
Nice quiet treasure
Hi, we stayed in this hotel in October 2014. In quiet location this hotel is a little treasure. Building is with high ceilings which gives you more space. Room was big enough for my family and clean. They don't do every day cleaning service, maybe this facility only on request I don't know. Shower was nice and clean too but no curtain, so water goes everywhere. After shower have to clean little bit around not to get hurt from slippery floor for little kids. Water pressure is good. WiFi is free but connection is not very good, couldn't talk on skype. Nice and helpful staff. Excellent garden for eating outside. Food is very nice. It is better to book only room without breakfast, because not very good option for breakfast including in the room rate. Generally it is quite good budget hotel. Would recommend!
cool, comfortable, peaceful
My stay at this hotel was quite comfortable. Service was friendly , responsive staff with understanding to keep the visitors at ease and comfortable and helpful. Place is good and well maintained.
Great se4vice
The hotel staff were very helpful at all times, even with 3am check in and arranging onwards bus tickets. Very impressed and would return if I am back in jaipur.
Near-western comfort in India
Everything was excellent. Service was prompt (for India) and the reception was always helpful. There's a vegetarian restaurant as well with lots of options (if you get tired of Indian food)
Amazing experience
Anuraag Villa was the perfect place to stay. Fantastic food and we loved watching the peacocks roaming around the garden in the afternoon. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic tuk tuk driver (Sam) who made our trip amazing. Cannot fault Anuraag Villa at all and would go back there in a heartbeat.
Best value hotel
Extremely helpful taff, clean and spacious rooms. Best value hotel i have visited till date
Pristine hotel, great restaurant
I almost cried with happiness after seeing my room in Anuraag after the hotels I had been in! It was so clean and comfortable. I will say that the linens felt a little damp and I was cold at night (it was unseasonably cold at the time). The hotel staff was wonderful and the restaurant is great and reasonably priced. The only drawback is that I, and many other travelers, had a lot of trouble with the wifi on any floor but ground.
I booked it in 10 mins !
This hotel is a must stay! Staff is great and good is cheap and safe! We at even fruit salad here. They are helpful and serious.
excellent place to visit
Overall stay was very nice..I went for honeymoon to Jaipur and we really enjoyed our stay at anuraag villa specially the Masala tea..the best tea in town.. It wud really b appreciated if room heaters cn b provided during winter..
ok for indians but not for western
Cold hotel. No heating and dirty
Great place to stay in Jaipur
Had a great stay in Jaipur at the Anuraag villa. The staff are really helpful, the rooms are kept very clean and tidy and the hotel is generally well and pleasant decorated. The garden is a real bonus giving us an area of calm to sit and enjoy the sun while catching our breath in between visits to the various sites. We booked a driver, Bunty, through the hotel for a day and he did a great job looking after us as he took us to the sites around Jaipur. I'd recommend the Amber Fort for a good half day (or more) outside the city, we really enjoyed the elephants and beautiful architecture and decor of the Fort. I'd skip Jagarth and Nahagarth forts if pressed for time. We spent another day visiting the key sites within the old city around the city palace (i.e. Jantar Mantar and Hawal Mahal) all of which I'd recommend as worth a visit. The Jantar Mantar in particular is fascinating to anyone with even a slight scientific bent and is a break from looking at the architecture of forts and palace decor etc. One other thing we did that is worthwhile in Jaipur if you have time is go to the Galta (monkey) temple. we took a tuk-tuk to the path that leads up from the city edge and then walked up and over the hill. The temple sitting above the pools, nestled in the valley is a calming relief from the hussle in the city and feeding nuts and bananas to the monkeys is a fun way to spend some time (though watch out as they will grab your bag and run off if they think there's food in i
Beautiful stay in Bani Park, Jaipur
We had a GREAT experience at this sweet little boutique style hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very nice. When we arrived our room was still occupied (guests had a late check out) so they upgraded us into a more deluxe room free of charge. it was a nice surprise! The garden is beautiful! Peacocks roaming around. It was especially nice to have breakfast every morning outside. Close enough to Pink City but glad we decided on staying in Bani Park instead of the city. It was nice to have a relaxing place to go after the hustle of the city visit during the day. Would highly recommend this hotel!
Nice hotel in nice area
This hotel is in the neighborhood of Bani Park, a nice escape from the traffic and noise. Close to the train station. You can walk to a busier area for coffee but all the "sights" are a taxi/autorickshaw ride away. Lovely garden in the back with ok restaurant. Staff helpful and refreshingly low key. First hotel in India that actually cleaned the bathroom well. Our A/C electricity broke and they fixed it same day, needing to call an electrician. Arranged our airport transportation efficiently. I would stay there again. Good value for the price range
Good hotel for recommendation
very special as hotel since it's a villa where the facilities are good and the rooms are clean. The decoration is typical Indian. Highly appreciated and recommend.
Great value
This is abeautiful Indian hotel. Staff really friendly. Very clean. Lovely garden. Good food. If you want the cosmopolitan blandness of the international chains this is not for you. If you want a taste of India then it is. Would highly recomend.
nomen est omen
"Anuraag Villa" has got the most friendly and honest hotel staff I have ever met in my life; it is a most pleasant oasis within the terrific traffic of the city, thanks in particular to the garden with a Buddha under his tree in the middle of an extended lawn, and beautiful Hindu Goddesses painted on the walls around, among real flowers and lots of green, everything enligthening and exciting at once; you may relax sitting on the lawn and watch another guest sitting on the peacock throne inside an elegant pergola; you may rent an oldtimer Simca belonging to the hotel with a young driver who respects other cars, cows, and even pedestrians, driving soft and swift; all in all, the hotel embodies the meaning of the Sanskrit word "Anuraag".

Perfect stay!
Absolutely incredible hotel. Would recommend to anyone! From start to finish everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We arrived on New Year's Eve and the hotel put on a big party with music, drinks, food, dancing and fireworks. It was such a special occasion. The owner and all staff went out of their way to help with anything we need. They booked our safari tickets for us and arranged transport to take us there and back. The room was amazing and photos do not do it justice. We had a private pool room which was beautiful. It was so peaceful here, especially after Delhi and Jaipur! We really managed to relax and take in our surroundings. There was a restaurant in the hotel which served breakfast and dinner. Everything we tried was delicious. A range of yummy Indian dishes and even some western ones if you wanted. I don't often write reviews but this hotel really was brilliant.
