Great location, right on the beach. There was always sun beds available by the pool and daily housekeeping if you wanted it. Good local restaurants. We will be back!
Great apartment with beach view
We were in a beach front apartment which was spacious.. nice sized balcony with sun & shade overlooking a white sandy beach. Good facilities with a fridge, freezer, cooker & utensils. Restaurants within walking distance & short taxi ride
Our studio condo was very efficient and contained everything we needed. The gardens are lovely and well cared for. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. A special thank you to Housekeeper Joan and Manager Gina. The beach is spectacular.
Never fails to be an excellent spot for visiting the island. Taxis easily available but having a car and being willing to drive on left with potholed roads is a plus.
taxi cabs take up all the parking & congest the parking area that supposed to be for guests. There’s not enough beach chairs for the guests. Everyone reserves one early in the morning. Very frustrating
This property is very close to the ocean, and feels really safe. Staff is great to deal with. Only thing I feel would be easy to fix is more beach & shower towels, paper towels. The bed was very comfortable, we stayed in a Ocean front Villa. Lots of people watching.
I loved the 1 bedroom oceanfront room, it was so clean and the views were amazing. Plenty of little food places in walking distance. It was very lively and also quiet at the resort. The landscape and plants were so lush and well taken care of. I want to come back for a month next time!!!
Property was well kept and clean.
Space was clean and spacious and felt very safe. A few items to possibly improve on: 1. More comfortable pillows. They seemed very old and cheap. 2. Food - it is quite difficult to get food without going to an offsite location. It would be great if the property would provide some warning and recommendations. Otherwise, guests wait a very long time at the only onsite option. Has a 'food truck' option ever been considered? This is something that has taken off in recent years in the US. Maybe a great business opportunity for some local folks!! A mobile coffee truck would make a killing. Another idea would be to stock the local shop [next to check in] with some actual groceries [eggs, fruit, bread, etc..]; or offer to stock room's with food for an additional cost. Thanks for the great stay - we hope to return.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The beach is literally steps away from the property. There are restaurants to the right and left of the property. It was very quiet and well kept. They take care of this property. The staff on the property were very accommodating and helpful. I look forward to coming back again very soon.
Not worth the $$
Not a kitchen towel or paper towel. You would be hard-pressed to make a meal with very few appliances and utensils.
Had a blast in Antigua, we stayed in beach front villas, literally walk out right to the beach, Amazing stay, everything was great, people were friendly!
Love the ocean view and the kindness of the staff.
Let’s start with the fact that my bed had no sheets on it the first night, and I was told housekeeping was closed and therefore I had to live with it. Imagine sleeping on a dingy mattress that dozens have slept on…. The next day they took hours to rectify it, didn’t come until almost lunchtime, while we waited. We found the staff, except for front desk, generally unhelpful. Beach towels were supposed to be in our room, they weren’t, and when I asked for some, I was told to get them myself, from a building across from the actual hotel! Every interaction with housekeeping was unpleasant and our room was not even cleaned on the second last day of our stay. It is also not a resort, it’s a bunch of timeshare type units. They all look completely different from each other inside, and I’m sure there are nice ones, but ours was not one of them. As basic as it comes, not worth the room rate in the slightest. There is no restaurant associated with the hotel, no room service or bar. The only plus was that it’s on a great beach. I would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone.
Stayed at a main floor garden-view room with full kitchen. Path to beach and two restaurants - Starfish and Salt Plage (Toyin best server). Ana's restaurant also a short walk away. Staff and security friendly and helpful. Taxis on site. Access to catamaran trips and a must try. One of our best trips.
Great property right on the beach. Each apartment is unique. I recommend getting a beachfront room as the views are unbeatable! Staff is super nice and everything is super well kept.
Great my go to destination in Antigua
Huge shout out to the security’s, cleaners ,Antigua village was an amazing stay for me and my wife, highly recommended, we greatly appreciate everything you guys set for us, i would give you guys 10 stars instead of 5 , thanks once again , see you guys soon
Cosy and on the most beautiful beach! Friendly helpful staff!
Amazing beach and apartment. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely cone back!!! Gorgeous spot
I loved my stay at Antigua Village the staff was awesome from the front desk to the Sercirty guards the pictures of the property dont do it justice to how beautiful it is. The beach is literally at your footsteps and pool at this property was quiet and relaxing would definitely recommend this place to anyone
Beautiful scenery and easy access to the beach
The staff were friendly and helpful. Nicky’s smile always brightens my day.
Beautifully situated. Wonderful beach. Convenient. Homey!
Rooms are spacious and grounds are lovely and well kept. Staff was friendly but front desk and on-property store closes too early. The one thing that was not good is that the bed linen did not smell freshly washed which brings down the level of property by a lot.
Antigua Village This is my second visit, to this lovely place. The property was quiet and nicely kept clean. The personal was informative and polite. It was a great experience. I will be returning with my family again. If not this definitely next year.
Wonderful property. Great security. Felt safe. Quiet, serene. Our unit was beachfront and had all the amenities needed to cook. Staff and front desk were very responsive and helpful. Our taxi driver Lesroy was great, took us everywhere we needed to go for the week. Will definitely stay here again.
It is in an amazing location!
Oceanfront villa is great. Great view , safe just be mindful it’s split level with the bedroom upstairs. Great choice, would stay again.
Great place to stay.
nice quite place beach was right there small store nearby next strip of hotels I had great on the jet ski next to restaurant and horse riding was a enjoyable experience. will go back with the family
Grounds were amazing . Pool was empty which I liked.but called 4 times to get clean towels. No hairdryer in the room
The property has a 60’s ambiance to it, your room key is actually 2 keys on a heavy metal holder. No key card here. There are no restrooms on the property so be prepared to run to your room. The saving grace is the spectacular beach, clear blue water, no drops or ridges you are on level sand getting in and out. 3 nearby restaurants at adjacent properties give a choice of dining. All in all great place to have a quiet beach holiday, between 8 and 11 you have your own private beach.
This is a nice friendly resort with all the required amenities for a comfortable stay. It’s very safe and quite clean. Just wish the unit I stayed in had AC in the living area as opposed to only in the bedroom. Perhaps they forgot to stock kitchen paper napkins or maybe they are going green but… I’ll recommend this to anyone who wants a clean and comfortable stay.
Very clean, great customer service, great view, it’s on the beach!
Solid choice. Still using physical run lock keys in 2024?! Same as when I stayed there in 2007.
I loved that the resort was on the beach and what an amazing beach it is. Beautiful white sand and clear, calm water. The complimentary permanent beach shades/cabanas and lounge chairs were a welcome addition and made my trips to the beach such a pleasure!!
It was a beautiful and spacious property
The resort was beautiful, clean , and in the center of everything. I enjoyed Casa Roots restaurant however it’s not in walking distance so a cab is recommended. Also they’re only 3 options of restaurants on the property to eat and their hours vary . I enjoyed the Antigua breakfast at Salt Plage the best . Sandals resort is next door however in order to eat at their restaurants you have to purchase a day pass and I don’t know how much that is. Don’t get suckered I’m to paying for beach chairs . The resort has free ones if you get out early , they are white . Overall I was very pleased with my stay , check in and check out were smooth . The staff was friendly and helpful . I will be back
quiet close to the beach well cared for
Pros: Nicer beach than Sandals Resort down the road. Beautifully landscaped grounds Pool Convenient location to some restaurants Security Cons: - Far from supermarket - Expensive taxi from airport
Hotel was really clean. Just need some updating on some of the kitchen equipment and some other stuff. It’s kinda of dated. Other than that, my stay was good
This is a splendid, peaceful property with a perfect stretch of beach in front of it and a beautiful pool in the courtyard. The room had all that we wanted or needed, housekeeping was excellent and unobtrusive, the gardens a joy, the kitchen very well equipped. Highly recommend.
Excellent location. Been there before. A couple of maintainence problems we had but dealt with at high speed by the maintenance guys.
Loved our view! The resort is very well cared for.
Solicitors do not leave you alone when you on the beach trying to sell you stuff
The beachfront village was just spectacular. Renovated. Clean. Full equipped. We could not ask for more. I would definitely go back.
Beach is small but perfect for swimming. Beautiful sunsets. Close to restaurants. Quiet and relaxing.
The outside of the property was well kept, however the room was a bit dated and could do with a makeover.
Great place to relax.
Property was great but Sandals next door is just plain rude by allowing their noise from loudspeakers to affect most of the property. Expedia should put Sandals on notice that they should keep their noise to their property.
Love the unit we stayed in.
Great spot! Walkable and so friendly!
Had a great stay property was convenient to restaurant and a mini mart on property. It was great to have the full kitchen. My only disappointment was I asked for a room with two single beds did not get it and being on the 3rd floor was not good. The reception was nice the security was great. I would definitely stay again.
(Unit S26) The the surrounding property and Antigua Village Beach resort was amazing. The view from the room almost made up for the poor condition of the room itself. Main room AC struggled to keep up. Bathroom electrical outlet dead. Broken kitchen cabinet doors. Silverware had to be left on countertop due to no drawers where things would splash, or fall on it. very unsanitary. Furniture dated. Kitchen faucet was so loose it’s almost came out of the base every time you would turn it on or off. Overall, the room (S26)was not maintained very well at all. For the price we paid for this room, the above mentioned things are unacceptable.
VERY GOOD PLACE; LOUD PROPERTY NEXTDOOR (SANDLES), BUT ONLY TWICE A DAY. GOOD SWIMMING; SECURITY FOLKS ARE THE BEST!
I stayed 3 times will go back again
First time here
Wonderful accommodation Very modern spacious room Cleaning service excellent Grounds were immaculate Good wifi Reception staff very helpful Beavh attached to resort was well maintained 15-20 minutes by local minibus to centre All in all
Great location right on the beach with restaurants nearby and options to book tours as well. Very convenient and will definitely book again!
3 bedroom villa, on the beach, 20 meters from the ocean. Spectacular views. Friendly staff. Safe, clean, restaurants nearby. Family friendly. Highly recommend.
Very lovely
My family of 4 had a great time staying here. The staff are lovely, the room was comfortable and the beach was pristine.
Staff is very welcoming
Reliable and friendly staff! Villa was equipped and clean.
Stayed 5 days with family. Resort is in oerfect location. Property is gorgeous, well manicured. Rooms are extremely clean, bright, airy and comfortable. I felt like i was at home. Housekeeping pay attention to detail. KatyAnn welcomed us with a smile. Taxi right at door. Every room is different which makes it unique. Property is right on the beach. Beach towles and chairs available. Beach is clean. Water is exquisite. Water is crystal clear and calm. Would absolutely come back. Definitely recommend.
Could upgrade furniture But was still lovely
It was beaufiful, relaxing, beautiful grounds and lands. caping, beautiful beach . Would highly recommend. Would go back.
Very nice, spacious and clean room. Beautiful property and gardens
We stayed in a Villa and it was beautiful. The gardens were very well maintained and we sat on the patio watching our resident hummingbird every day. It was a very short walk to the beach, they should have more umbrellas available but it was still really nice. The front office personnel were very pleasant and helpful. I appreciate all they did for us.
Villa 5 is in an excellent corner location with direct walk out to beach and it’s own patio with loungers and a hammock. Interior is clean, everything you mostly need for a beach holiday. A few key items in kitchen could make this place amazing as a condo rental such as cutting boards and cutting knifes. Also communication on it being a bare kitchen. You will have to supply your own paper towels, napkins, salt, pepper, cooking sprays/oils and any condiment should you be cooking during your stay. Also if you don’t show up before the office closes on check in day- you’re kind of screwed. Doesn’t state that anywhere in check in instructions. Overall would stay here again.
Fabulous time - great location!!
Perfect location in front of the beach. Staff is great.
Being right by a beautiful beach and pool was great - the location was ideal for getting around the island by car too. The gardens surrounding the property were beautiful.
The property is beautiful! It's not a resort, more like condominums on the beach but beautiful none the less. I appreciated how close it was to one of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua. It's also safe with 24/7 security. There are some restaurants steps away as well so it's very convenient. I had issues with my shower draining and well as the in-room phone which was frustrating, but other than that it was good.
The resort was clean and the grounds were kept clean with beautiful flowers. The beach was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful experience and I will visit again.
We absolutely loved every minute of our stay, what a place!
A free daily trip to the supermarket one mile away would have helped. Taxis are expensive.
The suite was just as described, 30 feet from the beach. My wife and I enjoyed coffee and breakfast every day on the very large deck that overlooks the beach. Fantastic place! Highly recommend
All is well except washroom door hard to open and shut including screen and patio doors. washroom needs a bit of facelift.
On the beach. No weeds in the water
Lovely property. Adjacent restaurants were not great
Great location. Great accomadation. Very clean. Maintainance and housekeeping staff very helpful. One blemish was a rather curt receptionist saying we couldnt have a courtesy shower after checking out before catching our flight. Never known that before.
It was like living in the sea. The beautiful sea is so very close, staff very helpful and the serenity of the place was awesome.
Such a beautiful property. Lush and well maintained. The views to the beach are spectacular. It is safe, comfortable and the perfect getaway. We would definitely go back. Highly recommend a stay here!
Comfortable, good spec and fabulous location. Jewel in the crown is practically having your own personal access to the sea with the gentle waves of Dickinson Bay almost lapping up to the back door
Our stay at Antigua Village was amazing!! We had a ground floor suite that faced the pool/garden area & it was beautiful. Property is kept in excellent condition & all the staff is so friendly. Everything is conveniently located, the beach is only steps away with many restaurants/bars to choose from within walking distance. We barely left Dickenson Bay because the beach is so wonderful, we didn’t really need to go elsewhere. It was a bit tough to get a beach chair on any given day because people would put towels down early & leave their chair vacant all day, one thing the resort could invest in is a couple more chairs for the beach. Pool was clean & never had any issues finding chairs around it. Our suite was very nice, comfortable bed & kitchen was stocked well with everything you need for cooking. Beach towels are provided for guests which was a nice bonus. Note that if you want a safe for your room it is $15 US for the week, wasn’t aware that it wasn’t included but it was not a big deal to pay for. Overall I would definitely stay at Antigua Village & recommended to anyone!
Beachfront property, restaurants close by on the beach, transportation access is conveniently located outside property. The grounds are well kept, nice size pool.
I liked the fact that I could sit on my balcony and watch the ocean. As good as being on the beach without the sand. The unit below was being renovated which caused a lot of noise during the day.
My wife and I spend 2 weeks at this property in a beach front condo. The overall experience was amazing, the views were fabulous, the proximity to the beach made out stay everything we hoped for.
The property was beautiful and the view of the island itself and the ocean was just the best ever! We were so luck that the staff was there to help with every little question or need we had. We actually were celebrating my wife's birthday and Katy Ann at the front desk made it a very memorable day by helping me to get flowers and telling us all the places we should see while we were visiting.
We had a 3 bedroom unit. It was a good size unit with a great view of the ocean. As in other reviews, parts of the unit definitely could be upgraded, especially the bathrooms. The one bedroom had a giant step when entering which could cause someone a serious fall. The property itself was immaculate. Never had trouble finding beach chairs. The beach was nice. Had close restaurants nearby. Security was really on the ball, which made us feel safe
Prooerty grounds are immaculate!!! Very clean property. People are friendly. Very well mantain. Beach is clean...pure white sand!! Should be called PARADISE ISLAND!!!
Staff are friendly, beach is lovely.
It’s safe refreshing atmosphere
All the rooms were different and lovely. The beach front access was wonderful. Beautiful beach and grounds. The staff was very friendly. The restaurants were ok. The service was slow, but staff was nice. They should have more local cuisine on the menu.
The staff was professional and caring. The security was on hand if needed and was very supportive. The are was nice and the beach was great.
We had a great 5day stay. Everyone was helpful and pleasant. Perfect area if going with family. I read several reviews with complaints about noise but this was not an issue at all for my family. There is plenty to do around the resort from jet ski horse back riding and tours. There is a super market and many local restaurants a taxi ride away. I will definitely stay here again!
Loved my stay right on the beach and close to everything. The staff was wonderful and my studio apartment was big with a king size bed and still had alot of space inside. I would stay there again.
Nice accommodation in a great beachfront location.
Nice accommodation in a great beachfront location. Handy kitchenette for preparing meals. No onsite restaurant/bar, but nice beachfront options next door on both sides. Unfortunately, mosquitoes were an issue with many inside the room. Definitely need personal repellent and room spray.

Great location, directly on the beautiful dickenson bay beach.
