Only convenience is that it is near the airport. Which is good for transit passengers.

There was Ants in my room. Area around did not much to choose from as far as food. Mosquitos in the patio area. Probably wont stay here again if given the choice.

Large cockroach in room, holes in towel, burned cigarette burns marks in sheets. Overall, place felt dirty. Only positive, less than 5 minutes to the airport.

Close to the airport. Room and bathroom is huge. Very roomy. However, word of warning if you stay with another person. The bathroom door is glass and the curtain is white. It's see through. So others will see while you're doing your business in the bathroom. Our kettle was very moldy. It was gross So be careful when you use anything. It's good for an overnight stay while you wait for your air flight. They also will overcharge you if you use their service for airport transfer. It would be cheaper to go with a taxi or grab but you pay for convenience.

Staff and owner very helpful

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We booked this hotel as a quick 1 night stay before flying out of Hanoi. It looked decent in the photos and was a good price. The advertisement on Expedia said it had breakfast and a free airport shuttle!! They do not! The man at the front desk spoke no English. No breakfast option at hotel and no free shuttle! The man at the front desk said (via our phone translator) that he would call us a cab (we would pay) in the morning to take us to the airport. This was annoying but we agreed. We took our key and went up to our room. The room was clean enough but felt like a sauna (very hot and moist). We tried to turn on the A/C to find out that after twenty minutes it only blew hot air. It was broken. We started getting ready for bed only to discover massive cockroaches in the bathroom!! They started flying around and crawling on our bed and luggage. At that point (around 11pm) we packed up and booked a new hotel for the night. I’m warning you. Do not book this hotel. You will end up going elsewhere and wasting your time and money.

Reliable Hanoi airport layover hotel

A reliable airport layover hotel! You can hear some traffic through the windows, but not too bad. It's clean and reasonably comfortable.

Staff live in the facility. Low shower water pressure and barely no hot water (ran the water over 10mins). Property too far from the city.

The hotel was not at all what we expected. The room and bathroom didn’t feel clean at all. The beds were not comfortable. The staff was fine, but didn’t speak much English.

Great place, close to airport!

This hotel is very close to the Hanoi airport, so especially convenient if you're just staying overnight, or on a short trip. Stayed overnight in between flight to Hanoi and flight to Laos, and the hotel very kindly kept spare luggage for us until we returned to Hanoi. Very comfortable beds, nice service.

Room was big, but smelled very bad. Not many food options nearby. Convenient only if you have an early morning flight, as we did.

helpful staff

For the price and proximity to the airport this hotel is a winner if you just want a hotel to stay at when you are about to catch a flight. Picked up and dropped off at the airport efficiently. Breakfast was decent, staff friendly and helpful and room was pretty good. Only minor complaint is that the shower had a hundred different attachments that only produced hot water which provided much amusement but might be an issue if you were staying more than one night.

Good enough

Very basic property, but clean enough and plenty of space in the rooms. Close to the airport and cheap, which were the two things I was looking for when I booked. Breakfast was pretty good and the transfer to/from the airport was cheap enough, on time and convenient.

Convenient for an early flight. Hotel transport booking is a must. Comfortable room with hot water, AC, TV, WiFi, free in room coffee/tea/bottled water and basic breakfast. Limited food choice that might be best get at airport. Good value.

Close to the airport, but hard bed

The room was spacious with a great view. The pick-up service was good even though we had to wait for some time. The staff was not very friendly when I asked for help to book transport from the hotel to the city. The grab taxi was way cheaper than the hotel one. The breakfast was mediocre but considering the price, I guess I should not be complaining.

We stopped at the Anova before boarding our flight back to the UK. It is 5 mins from the airport and the property arranged transport for 100000 dong ($4 ish). The manager was polite and efficient. The rooms were clean with two double beds/aircon/minibar and a simple room menu delivery service (we had pizza which was very good). Adequate for the purposes of a quick sleep /shower and rest prior to/after a flight. The room cost £30 and was a bargain. Compared to spending the evening and early hours on the airport floor this was excellent! Would recommend for this purpose.

The man who was working at 11pm when I checked in was incredibly helpful. It was late and our whole family was tired. Check in was smooth he even helped pay my taxi fare because I ran out of VND. The room is huge but definitely not fancy: this place is so close to the airport it made my life so much easier. They even drove us to the airport in the morning in a big vehicle that could hold all of our baggage.

Great services with cheap price

I book this hotel for my boyfriend and his grandpa. My reservation was for 2 nights. When my boyfriend checked out early they ask for 250.000 for late check out. I feel like they try to make money off of him due to his lack of the native language.

I liked how close it was to the airport. Everything was fine about the property. Not great, not terrible. It had a bed where I could sleep, and a shower to get clean. You get what you pay for! Not much going on around the hotel. One or 2 local restaurants.

Amazing roof top pool and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room had floor to ceiling windows which was just beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival at the airport my driver that the hotel arranged had not shown. I had to call to see where he was. Our room had bedding that had not been cleaned and the towels in the bathroom seemed a bit crusty. I would definitely not stay here again.

Very good for a stopover near to airport

We stayed at the Anova Hotel on two separate nights as it is close to the Airport, 5 minutes by Taxi, so we didn't have to get the children up so early to get our flight. The rooms were big and clean and comfortable, breakfast is just a basic Vietnam style, or eggs and toast, but is included and was fine. The Hotel does not have a lot around it but there are some local restaurants and a spa close by. I would definitely use this Hotel again if traveling through Hanoi, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at this hotel, the service was first class, the rooms were large and comfortable and it is located in very convenient Street close to everything with the benifit of not much traffic noise at night

Comfortable hotel near the airport.

I stayed at the Anova hotel for one night following a late night arrival at Hanoi airport. I would stay here again. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the Vietnamese breakfast dishes (eggs were also an option).

Good hotel near airport

Great size rooms, lovely hot showers, very comfy large bed. We needed a hotel to stay near the airport due to our plane arriving early hours of the morning and it was perfect for that. The only downside to staying next to the airport / main road, is that it’s incredibly noisy throughout the night.

Perfect for the airport

We used the hotel in between flights from Hanoi and it was perfect for what we needed. The room was spacious with a huge bed, free bottled water and was clean. There was a slight smell of smoke in the hallway and the room, although my husband couldn’t smell it. We took the airport shuttle which cost 100,000 VND and took a local taxi the following morning which cost only 70,000 VND. The airport is just 10 minutes drive away so it’s a great location.

Anova hotel was a very decent airport hotel for the night before an early flight out of Noi Ba. There are dismal reviews for most airport hotels near Hanoi, as you know, and opinions on Anova seemed a bit better so I gave it a shot. The airport shuttle was delightfully easy - the driver was waiting for me outside of bag claim with my name on a sign. The room was big and clean, and I slept just fine even though the walls were thin and I could hear the highway cars rushing by (more so than the planes). The no-walls shower is next to the toilet, which I never love, but the water is hot and the bathroom is otherwise pretty glitzy for an airport hotel, so it’s just fine for a night. Hotel staff were attentive and friendly, directing me to a nearby restaurant for late night dinner and serving eggs, bread, fruit, and coffee/tea in the morning for breakfast. Even with the highway noise, I’d stay here again for the clean rooms and ease of it all.

Short stay before a late night flight.

Just spent a few hours in the hotel before taking a late night flight. Easy check-in, staff at the desk spoke English and arranged for a taxi to take us to the airport. Good local places to eat close by. Room was very large and clean. Might have been a little noisy from the traffic if we were trying to sleep through the night. Overall a good choice for a hotel convenient to the airport at a great price.

Say they have a restaurant, they do not. They have pictures of a nice restaurant but that does not exist. We checked in around 7pm hoping to eat and they couldn’t do anything for us. I Was expecting a free shuttle ride to the airport the next morning but they made us pay 100,000vd for a 5 minute ride to airport. Since we had nothing to eat and nothing to do we just figured we would go to bed early and watch TV. However TV was broken when we got there. Luckily my boyfriend was able to fix the wires so we at least had TV. Wish we would of stayed in old quarter Ha Noi. If you just need a place to sleep it’s not terrible, but don’t expect anything else. Did not try breakfast. After the bad experience we just wanted to leave. We at least grabbed a banana and coffee there.

Room was very clean. There was no shower curtain around the bathtub/shower and water was getting everywhere including behind the bathtub, so I'm not sure how they clean back there or if there is a fair bit of mold back there (can't see any). Also the cooler didn't seem to work very well. Had it cranked down to 20 deg C and it didn't really cool off in the room for a few hours after that.

Too noisy to sleep

Terribly noisy, loudest karaoke bar ever next door kept us awake till 2am. Grotty street, poor restaurants nearby. Room clean and comfortable but not as good as the website photos. It’s an airport hotel but no blackout curtains or soundproof windows.

Wasn’t bad for an overnight stay when planning on going to the airport the next day. Wouldn’t recommend to stay any longer as the location is not ideal and better places to stay in Hanoi.

Clean and very convenient for a short stay

We were travelling back by bus from Sapa and expected to arrive around 10pm with a flight to Hue the following morning. We were looking for a basic hotel close to the airport for a night - this hotel is located on the dual carriageway that is the bus route into Hanoi so our bus (Sapadragon) dropped us outside. We had a large room with a very large double bed. The room was clean as was the bathroom. Had a basic choice for the included breakfast but we perfectly fine (fried eggs). The guy on reception both when we checked in and in the Morning was very helpful , spoke good English and arranged the hotel car to take us to the airport. It’s an airport hotel so I wouldn’t choose it as a place to stay longer - it’s obviously going to suffer from some road noise and aircraft noise but we had a very comfortable nights sleep. Had a problem with no hot water and the reception explained that you need to leave the tap running for quite a while. For what we paid we were satisfied with our stay as being good value

Great hotel close to airport

Great hotel close to airport which is new, clean and comfortable. Staff are fantastic and very accommodating. We had a late afternoon flight so they allowed us to stay past check out time before calling a cab for us. There are a few local eateries nothing flash but served their purpose.

Above and beyond staff makes all the difference

The receptionist is incredible. He helped me contact the airport and find my missing passport. I was also driven to the airport by the hotel owner’s brother to collect it. Super clean and nice facilities. Conveniently located close to the airport with some local restaurants near by. Perfect place to spend the night before a flight out of Hanoi or if you arrive late at night.

I'm very comfortable with your hotel and will recommend to other friends. Staff very friendly and humble and the services very good. Staff also can speak english and can assist us on location to Hanoi. Hotel breakfast very good and need to improved breakfast time. Hotel should review their breakfast on time and need to give variety of breakfast. One important things, hotel need to have muslims food and easy to eat for muslim people.

Fair for an airport stop off

This was a flying visit & did as described. Rooms were comfortable but the road was very loud and came through to our room all night! We had to leave early so missed the breakfast and no offer of a 'take away' deapite room rate including breakfast.

You do not have a lot of options if you need a hotel near Hanoi airport. However Anova is a good option, with helpful staff, spacious rooms and fabulous proximity to the airport. A slight odor coming from the bathroom -humidity or bad pipes- would be my only remark.

Beware - scam.

2/20/18 This hotel claims on its website to have multiple restaurants and shows photos of a fancy hotel. When we arrived, we discovered that is a different much dumpier hotel than advertised. Since they didn’t have the advertised restaurant we went without dinner. No restaurants nearby. Room was spacious and clean however the bathroom had no shower curtain, a bathtub that wants to tip over and a very shower shower head. Hotel appears to be only half finished. Large welded metal doors block off sections of the building. The hotel sits in front of a freeway and our deluxe room looked out over it. We were kept up all night by freeway noise, honking, barking dogs and roosters. Breakfast choice was white bread with a fried egg or beef pho. Pho seemed to be “instant pho”. We booked because of free airport shuttle and were told it would be 100 dong. This hotel is doing a bait and switch scam and I would t recommend that anybody stay here.

Excellent value near Hanoi airport

We stayed one night between flights at Hanoi Airport. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport and a shuttle service is offered for a reasonable price.

Very clean hotel. Nice rooms. Breakfast was quite fine for Vietnam. A bit in the side of the city so there is not many places to eat. Easy to go with bike to Trang An and other destinations.

Room not cleaned-would NOT recommend

I spent 2 nights at this hotel. The room was not cleaned during my stay. When I told reception Initially I was told that this was due to instructions given by management and that guests have to request to have their rooms cleaned. I had not been informed about this when I checked in. On checking out, a different receptionist expressed surprise that the room had not been cleaned. The rooms need to be cleaned everyday because the shower does not have a curtain and literally floods the entire bathroom The hotel uses regular bathroom mats rather than the floor towel used in most hotels. The mat in my room was filthy and covered with hair.

One night transit

We were on transit to Japan and had to stay near the airport for early flight next day. Arranged for hotel pickup and was a smooth process. Hotel is less tham 10mins away and room was really huge. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel staff are pathetic. Rather than facilitating my stay I felt intimidated and coerced by the hotel staff to utilize their overpriced services for taxies and places to see. Do not stay here.

This hotel is about 2km from the airport. I took a taxi at the airport. It fare is onri 60,000VND. Room is clean and cheap. If you want to stay near the airport, I recommend this hotel.

Staff talk very loud can be heard in our room. Staff is smoking. Poor appearance, unprofessional.in our room,.hole near the roof not cover. The curtain in the bathroom is see through.hard for taxi/uber to locate the place.positive side: room is spacious, bed comfortable.
