Beautiful Victorian, our room was was exactly like the photos on line, comfortable bed. Sadly the property is for sale and there is some deferred maintenance such as burned out light bulbs, vent switch not working. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. We would stay there again. Wonderful things to see in Weatherford.

The house was meticulously clean inside and out. It was beautifully decorated with antiques. The outside landscape was well kept and had many shade trees with chairs and swings for sitting in the shade of the trees.The house had porches that surround most of the house with comfortable chairs to sit in. The host was very friendly. The meals were freshly cooked and delicious.

This property is amazing. The bed and breakfast is an old Victorian style house. Driving up I was excited just to see how charming it was. The interior did not disappoint. It is appointed in vintage furniture and appliances and is just a fun, cool, atmospheric place to stay.

Awesome Historic Bed & Breakfast

A beautiful bed and breakfast. The first floor has 12 foot ceilings with stained glass windows that must be at least 6 foot tall. The dining room and wood stair case are striking. The king beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff and owner work as a team, and they are gracious and go beyond the call of duty.

This was a very unique one of a kind bed and breakfast room #10 the penthouse has tall windows w stained glass and a beautiful view of Weatherford Texas !

Angel’s Nest Bed & Breakfast

The Angel’s Nest Bed & Breakfast is a very beautiful and historic place. We stayed in Room 6 which was very spacious with two king beds. The daily breakfast was a very nice way to start the day. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

THE ROOMS NEED TO BE CLEANED BETTER, UPDATE THE CARPETS, CLEAN THE TUBS, TOILET NEEDS REPAIR WOULD NOT STOP RUNNING OR WAS NOT FLUSHING . THE PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE BUT I WOULD NOT GET INTO THE TUB OR WALK BARE FOOTED DUE TO THE CONDITION OF THE CARPET & TUB. AGAIN THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE PLACE WERE VERY NICE .BUT THE PLACE COULD USE A DEEP CLEANING AT LEAST OUR ROOM & BREAKFAST WAS LIMITED FOR AN BED & BREAKFAST INN ...THE DOWNSTAIRS WAS VERY NICE AND WELL KEPT.

Second stay here and loved every bit once again!!! The breakfast was wonderful and we will be back.

Relaxing getaway!

Our stay was great! The bed was amazing with soft sheets and comforter. The bathroom was very clean. The hot tub was so relaxing. And the breakfast was great!

No working jacuzzi for us

Beautiful home !! We had a little problem we were in room 2 I chose this room for the private jacuzzi & when we went to go out after dark there was no power out there! The power was turned on & the hot tub still wouldn’t work! The person that answered the phone said just push the silver button but never came to check to make sure things were working! Made my reservation in advance so I feel like things should have been ready wen we got there! Didn’t appreciate the owner sitting on the porch outside of our room at 7:45 AM very noisily talking on the phone

Charming stay in Weatherford, Texas

We were able to check into the Angels Nest rather late without any problems. Everything we needed was there waiting for us. We stayed in room number 9 which is a really nice and romantic room. The oversized Jacuzzi bathtub was a real plus after a long day of travel. This is a well taken care of Bed and Breakfast.

The place is clean and the room we had had some issues. The shutters were broke so it took some rigging from my husband to get them to shut. We had to use the restroom across from the room which was no big deal. However it has no ventilation so being summer time it was hot in there kinda felt like an out house. I would definitely spend a little more and get a room that has a bathroom in it. The breakfast was okay. Our only complaint is there is no choice or idea what you will be having it is a surprise delivered to your door every morning. The meat was the same each day and the juice was the same each day. Eggs and fruit one day, French toast the second. My husband is a diabetic so breakfast was a no go on the second day for us.

Great stay. Very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.

It’s quirky and cute and a little bit creepy bc of the creeks and odd noises and the absence of anyone when we were there, but it was sure fun for a night. We stayed in room number 10, the bathtub wasn’t very clean and there was no shower, so that was an experience! The breakfast was super yum and right on time! The private balcony was perfect too! I’d recommend it for a unique experience in Weatherford.

Call ahead to see if their jacuzzi works

Room was clean. Breakfast was delicious. Point of this romantic get away was for a working jacuzzi. Nobody told us that theirs wasn’t working. We got in late and it was almost midnight when we got in. To find out it doesn’t work. Pointless to call and ask for another room.

The check-in was very simple over the phone. Room is clean and quiet. Can't beat the price!

Well-kept historic home - even with other guests we had peace, quiet and privacy. A few things didn’t readily work for us (plumbing, jetted tub), but for a quick getaway we would consider Angel’s Nest again.

A beautiful old home. We received an upgrade at no extra cost which was nice. Breakfast was delicious. The weather was a little cold so we didn’t get to really enjoy the balcony or the grounds. I think we all enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again.

Nice! We stayed in room 2. Friendly staff. Jacuzzi was great. Furnishings don’t match the history of the house, but there are some nice pieces. Comfortable bed. We’ll come back.

TV did not work; the breakfast was very late, so I could not eat. There was no staff to ask questions upon arrival or leaving. The shower panels were coming apart and cracking. The downstairs seemed very lovely, and I liked the unique furniture.

Not maintained with much devotion. Squeaky doors, missing faucet handles, dank atmosphere, no soap but five small bottles of shampoo left by previous guests, poor breakfast.

The staff were soooo kind. Also, the building itself is beautiful and historic.

It took me 10 minutes to get j in into the room, no whyfi working, tv not working, two people asked me what time I wanted breakfast,I said 9:30, it came at 8:45!!!! I was still in bed!!

A little gem in Weatherford. The grounds are charming. We enjoyed the food and hospitality.

What makes this property wonderful is the excellent service from Candice and her staff! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and take great care of us!

I did not like that the hot tub was dirty and the patio around the hot tub was dirty. We originally reserved room 2 but due to the hot tub not working in that room they moved us to room 3 which is right on the street and the traffic noise was horrible. We did not care for the breakfast either day we were there.

Lovely! Beautiful old mansion, like going back in time 130 years or more. Friendly staff, great service, unique experience! Delicious breakfast delivered each morning to your door. TV and internet connection spotty but perhaps this just added to the overall experience. Cannot wait to return and try another room!

Arrived and found the toliet was used and not flushed, the room needed a really good cleaning and vacuuming. The blinds and a/c unit had cobwebs. Found cheetos on the floor by the beds. Had two king beds and one was totally unusable because it was hard as a brick. There was a huge squashed pumpkin right by the front door that had obviously been there since Oct. Usually at a B&B you are greeted and have breakfast in the dining room maybe cookies and a glass of wine in the afternoon. Don't expect any of that. Breakfast was just ok. Coffee and juice in disposable cups and dinner ware probably found for free at a yard sale. Needs new management - Don't go

Lovely historic home. Quiet. Great breakfast. Easy check-in and check-out.

We loved the property, breakfast was excellent. We stayed in room #10. We loved the view from both the bedroom and the bathroom on the third floor of the tower in the hot tub! The only thing we would recommend is a vanity light around the mirror in the bathroom and a light over the eating area.

This isn’t a luxury suite at the 5 star hotel with a thousand rooms, nor is it a fancy new B & B designed to look vintage or retro. This is the house you and your relatives fight to inherit because it’s gorgeous and rich with history. Because the furniture is at twice as old as you are. Because the architecture is stunning and the decor makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another time. Because the walls breathe with memories that you want to hold onto. You may not be able to inherit this place and have it for yourself, but staying here even for a night will let you see why this place is so special and let you become a part of the mansions history. If you stay here, don’t expect perfection. But the allure of Angels Nest is not about its perfection or over abundance of amenities, but about the warmth of the staff and history of the house. And if you’re open minded, you just may see some of that history floating around the halls…

This is a must stay!!!! Super easy, quiet, clean, friendly place! Would recommend and would definitely stay here again! Breakfast was awesome 👏 can’t say enough about this wonderful place!!!!
