It is a very good place to stay

Martina was so kind and responsive to our needs. We had a beautiful space suite and enjoyed every minute we were in Catania

Nice Hotel

I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was excellent with a great view over the surrounding area. Breakfast was okay and there were many great places to eat nearby.

Martina and her staff are super friendly and kind! The hotel has 4 main rooms, its one flight up so be prepared to carry your luggage. The room is small with a few extra chairs that are not needed. The breakfast was great, nook is small. Location is good and just around the corner from main shopping and restaurant.

Great location easy to get everywhere. Lovely rooms overlooking Amphitheatre. Contintal breakfast very good. The ladies that run this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Hidden gem in the heart of Catania. Breakfast included was delicious with great variety. Rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were attentive to our needs. Location: quick access to buses and walking distance to mini markets and main attractions. Highly recommend visiting the Anfiteatro Ruins in front of the hotel (mini-Colosseum). A big shout-out to Martina, the vibrant owner, for her warm welcome, and savvy knowledge of the city. She made us feel at home. She was the added bonus to our stay in Catania! Do not hesitate to ask questions and ask for restaurant recommendations! Every restaurant she recommended exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Catania. Excellent location, kind people, extremely clean and well appointed. Breakfast was also lovely.

Then owner Martina was amazing, friendly and went out of her way to help. From before I arrived she sent very clear instructions about how to enter the building and showing my room (with video) The accomodation is spotless and my room was spacious, quiet, very clean, with a very comfortable bed and lovely small balcony. The breakfast was generous and lovely - with coffee of course!! I cannot recommend this property enough and would happily stay again And Martina also made my stay special, with great recommendations for places to visit and local places to eat - she is an amazing host.

Super Host Super Room!

This is the best place we’ve stayed in Italy. Martina should get an award for her hospitality and charm! She’s AMAZING! The room is right in the middle of all the action. It is bright, clean and comfortable! Breakfast is perfect. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent small boutique hotel within easy walking distance of most of the major attractions in Catania. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good, and, most importantly, the host Martina is very attentive and helpful. She went out her way to help us in numerous ways during our stay. Excellent restaurant - Al Vicolo - just behind the hotel.

Beautiful place in Catania

What a beautiful place! Martina was a most gracious host attending to our needs and providing quite the breakfast each morning! Would definitely return if we are in Catania again.

This is definitely a diamond in the rough. Doesn’t look like much once you arrive but once your inside you will see why I gave a 5 star review. It really is walking distance to main center and restaurants. Staff is very nice. Room was perfect. We got a suite to accommodate 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Thank you for having us!

We loved our stay at Anfitheatro! Martina was so kind and helpful! She constantly went above and beyond to help us in our travels. She even helped us organize a trip to Mt. Etna when we asked about things to do. We loved our stay and especially our very kind hostess!

Lets start with the most important asset of Anfiteatro and that is the manager Martina. This little fireball of energy is fabulous and will assist you in any capacity. Directions, restaurants, tours, insider info, and what to avoid. All this and her breakfasts and Sicilian humor thrown in for free. She is just the best. The facility is great with all modern amenities and a really cool design. The location is perfect with a little street noise thrown in for free. Hey, it's Catania..... We had the luxury suite with a little balcony and it was great. The AC works perfectly and you will need it. All in all just a enjoyable place to stay. Give Martina a hug for us. Central and special.

This, our second stay, was as good as the first time. The most marvelous welcome from the host, Martina, and as usual, a beautiful room to rest in after a long two weeks visiting Sicily. Everything, and I mean everything, has been planned to make a stay here memorable. After staying around the island we appreciated the availability of charging locations all throughout the suite. The balcony, room size, storage options, breakfast, and the host made the visit. If you want a special stay in a Sicilian city center, you should book here. It only has 3 suites, all decorated differently, so planning ahead is essential.

Central and charming.

We were met on arrival by Martina and give a great explanation of the way to access the Suites and our room. Also, we discussed options for visiting the important areas of Catania. It was a comprehensive and fun way to approach the exploring of a city that we’ve only visited once before. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The balcony overlooked one of the excavations in Catania, and was a great landmark for returning to our lodging. Breakfast was lovely. I’m a coffee drinker and Martina kept us caffeinated. We walked into the breakfast area to the smell of fresh baked pastries. Great start to the day. If you’re considering a stop over in Catania, I’d recommend staying here. Beautiful accommodations, lovely host, centrally located, and quiet.

Lovely hotel located in the heart of Catania. Martina, her mother and staff made the stay a heart-warming experience. Great restaurants are a short walk away. Lots of sights and shopping are available within a short stroll. Highly recommended.

Perfect

Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Catania city centre, the room was spacious clean and modern with an amazing view of the roman amphitheatre ruins. Our host Martina was lovely, super friendly and went out of her way to make sure we could arrive late after a last minute booking due to a delayed flight. Highly recommend this hotel :)
