My suggestion is to provide better pillows, as in down. Memory foam are extremely uncomfortable. Also, there was not one English news channel available, neither CNN or BBC. Other than those two minor things the experience at the hotel was fine. It's really a lovely old Hotel. I've stayed here before and I will stay here again in the future when in Milan

Good location, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent food in the restaurant and very friendly and helpful waiter. Thanks also to the chef because everything was excellently prepared and presented, as was the breakfast. If I return to Milan one day I will return to the hotel. Thank you very much for your services.

Hotel was fine for what we wanted — a bed and shower. After check in, we went to room which was still dirty with bed unmade (presumably from previous guests).

Hotel Andreola Centrale

Hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Expresso and cappuccino during breakfast were great. It also included variety of egg, ham, croissant, fruits, and juices. It is 5 minutes from train station. Love this hotel.

Property could be better and more value for money. There was no iron when requested, I booked for 3 people, and the third bed was added randomly, and no space for the baggage, etc

Just ok

Hotel located right on Milano Centrale which is great. Breakfast decent, including stay. Extra cost is 36 euros for both (extremely expensive). Lady was very rude when I come up to her saying omelet is finished, with attitude she pointed on my table and says “seniora, sit, 10min (I can describe her as late short blonde) . Room was like walk in closet, no space at all. Too tiny.

Nice hotel and nice staff.

People from outside, not hotel staff able to access our room and stole all our cash with hotel key. Police was notified and we caught the thirf redhanded in our room as we stop him from leaving our room. Police came and found evident on him and he was send to police station after. We made a police report on this as well. Staffs of the hotel is very not compassionated about our issues and feel they are a victim instead of us. Did not offer help to us, staff was rude , arrogant and very slow to react to emergency. I highly discourage anyone to use this hotel

The service was excellent. The people at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from train station and near many tube stations to access Milan center. Yes , it is an older hotel but it is clean and comfortable. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff just added to the experience.

Good old fashioned hotel in good condition. I suspect it might be a bit too warm in the summer months but otherwise good location a short walk from Milan Centrale station.

A Real Disappointment

I have no idea how this hotel got the high rating it has. At best, I would give it a 4. The pros: clean, quiet, good breakfast The cons: -advertised queen size hideabed was a twin, unmade and without any bedding -bathroom sink ran constantly -front desk seemed to be put out of their way when asked for anything -TVs were so tiny, you couldn't read the banners on news channels. Had to move chairs in order to see TV. -no coffee, tea or kleenex in room -was charged 2.50 euro for a tea bag that I had to go to the back of the hotel into the kitchen to get myself -bedroom TV was missing the remote -chairs looked great, but felt like they were worn out when sitting in them -neither the room nor the mini bar had any glasses -had-held shower head wouldn't stay up -no place to plug in phones without unplugging lamps

A beautiful hotel with staff who are friendly and happy to answer questions. Our room was clean, quiet and super comfortable. We enjoyed the abundant breakfast. Steps away from the central train station, and within reach of public transit. Reasonable walking distance to Corso Buenos Aires if you're interested in shopping.

Good breakfast

Booked this hotel last minute due to our train being canceled because of a strike. It was conveniently located near Milan Central Station. Staff was nice enough to pack us a breakfast to go when we had to leave before the 7am breakfast to catch a train.

It was clean quiet and 2 minute walk from train station and breakfast was GOOD

The room was really good value and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioning

Air conditioning was not working and despite the fact that the room was a sauna they refused to turn it on as they only turn it in over the weekend. I was told to open window but as I was on first floor there was too much noise from the street. Some lights did not work and shower was broken.

This was the perfect hotel for us. It was really attractive and the room was very classy. For us, being near the train station was important. This was an incredibly convenient and great option. The breakfast was amazing as well. They let us check in early and were extremely accommodating. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in Milan!

The room which was given to me was terrible & trash of the previous guests wasn’t taken:( from the room…. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Everything was as presented online. Clean and quiet. Beautiful room. Courteous staff.

Loved the property. The location to train, bus, metro, and many varieties of international food was incredible. An easy 5 minute walk to the hotel door. Safe neighborhood, helpful, knowledgeable, service staff, and excellent, well run restaurant with complimentary breakfast buffet was a great benefit. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in Milan.

old fashioned Italian hospitality

My partner had booked for four nights as a short break. I chose the hotel because it was close to the train station and metro. We arrived late at night and Luigi on reception was very helpful getting us checked in and giving us tea and all the information for our stay. The room was very clean, bed linen and towels changed every day. The breakfast was a buffet but you weren’t allowed to touch anything because of Covid-19 but the restaurant staff were very attentive in getting us everything we needed. The hotel was very clean and although a true old fashioned hotel, the furnishings and furniture were very clean and not worn. The bonus was the restaurant on the sixth floor with views of the city. The food was excellent and the chef made special dinners every night for my husband as he has very strict dietary needs. In all I can’t find one bad thing to say about this hotel and will definitely be back.

Central Station

The hotel is located a few minutes' walk from the Central station. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast is sufficient. Room condition very good.

I have stayed in a few hotels around this area of Milan, and this is by far the best. Night staff (late evening check-in) were very helpful and polite.

flightless in Milan

Well placed hotel only a couple of minutes walk from central station with great connections to the airport , cental Milan (trams) and the rest of Italy!, that we ended up booking due to cancelled flights. Hotel was clean, the room was large but dated in design. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room and strangely only one extra pillow in the cupboard for a double bed (total 3). Breakfast was a good mix but again surrounding just dated, felt very 1980's.

Staying in MIlano

Great spot, close to the main termini. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pillows were terrible, so this was a problem for me. Overall a pleasant stafy

Just lovely

A lovely stay, such a convenient location. Clean, very comfortable beds, quiet. We had an issue when our Christmas day meal reservation that we made a month earlier, cancelled at 10.30am Christmas Day. The receptionist saved our bacon and found us a fantastic replacement. If we return to Milan again, we will stay here.

Edcellent hotel near Milan Central Station

I highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay around Milan Central Station. Rooms are quite spacious (a bit outdated but totally comfortable). Very good continental breakfast. Best feature of the hotel is the staff: extremely professional, kind and helpful.

Handy for station. Twice checked into this hotel and both times room was not ready, first time it wadnt ready by 4.30pm. The rooms are shabby and need redecorating. The worst point is the noise from the street is pretty bad,hence sleep quality is poor.

Good location close to Malpensa airport. Nice and welcoming staff. Big plus that they have 24/7 airport shuttle at EUR 3,-/way. Called once I had picked up my bag, and when I came outside to where it’s leaving from, it was already there. Also dropped me off at the train station at terminal 1. Excellent service. Room was clean with a nice duvet and good pillows. Slept very well. Very nice breakfast with coffee made to your choice. Nice and clean bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for more. Happy to stay here again if I travel via Malpensa,

Location is good but the hotel is a bit dated. Overall it is acceptable. The only point is that it is claimed to be a four stars hotel and a higher city tax has to be paid.

I stayed one night in a double room. This property was very close to Central station. It was also close to restaurants and shopping. The room was updated and quite spacious. I would definitely stay again..

When we arrived the first staff is really nice, friendly and helpful. Hotel is quite clean. The tourist city tax is very high, considering this kind of quality. Disappointed with another staff, dishonest about the taxi fee (only 5 euro difference, but it’s Principle) and wrong information, not appreciate the way they treat tourist like idiot.

A typical Italian hotel with all the character and ambiance expected of a traditional hotel. The location is perfect for transport and shopping. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel was clean and inviting, although the room was quite small there was plenty of space and everything you needed. I can't find anything negative to say and certainly look forward to returning.

Take the train

The Hotel is very close to the Central Train Station, which makes it very convenient for travelers. I stayed only one night so I could take a quick shower, then tour, and have dinner with friends. The next morning, it was almost at the station to catch a train to Turin.

This hotel is very close to Milan Centrale. It provided a good room with balcony, great toiletries and breakfast, access to English newspaper. Located near the tram for easy access to Duomo.

Everything was just lovely.

Beautiful building both inside and out. The room was unusually spacious for Italy. My only complaint is there's a good bit of noise coming from outside, such as the clanging from streetcars.

While the public rooms could use an aesthetic refresh, the spacious guest rooms, with their tall ceilings, had grace and charm. Bed was firm and I slept unusually well. Breakfast was generous. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Location was very convenient to public transport, and there was a small grocery store over the road. I would stay here again.

Fairly good, but I would not consider it 4-star.

The room was pretty good. Housekeeping came after 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, so we had to refuse. During the evening, one employee went into the rooms, checking for something and also looked into our cupboard. I try to let the front desk know, Sunday, that we were out for several hours, so they could start room service. The receptionist was gone and the doorman did not speak English. Neither did he try to understand my poor attempt to speak Italian. Housekeeping did not speak English, either, though a bit more forthcoming, trying to understand my attempts to communicate. The neighborhood was pretty good. A convenience store on next corner. Plenty of small restaurants and a coffee shop one street down. All in all a good stay, but for the price and the many stars, this was a bit overrated. Breakfast pretty OK. Many cakes (which we did not have), but the bread was disappointing, when you know that you can get good bread in Italy. The coffee was good. Amenities were so-so. Small flat screen TV, but could be moved and connected to PC. Channels (100s) were mostly in Italian. OK, since we watched Netflix. The room was fairly big and the hotel is close to the railway station and shopping area. There was a market on Saturday. Oh. Mind the taxes added to the bill. Fairly OK hotel.

Very close to all attractions and the main train station to go anywhere including airport. Breakfast was good, however, I could not get fresh made eggs, only boiled eggs choice. Overall breakfast good quality. If you coming via Eurostar from London then walking distance from station. Lot of restaurant in the area..

Great hotel in the city centre of Milan, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Chose this because it was close to the train station and reasonably priced. It was amazing and beat my expectations. Rooms had high ceilings and bed was nice and firm. The bathroom was quite large and had beautiful tiles.

Convenient but a bit old

The room was okay, not so big but it had everything I needed. However, one power socket was not firmly attached to the wall. And the handle of the hair dryer was broken. The staffs were really nice and polite. The hotel is located at a really convenient place, just a 2- to 3-minute walk from the central station.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Very close to central station. I had the junior suite which was very nice. Wonderful staff. As everywhere else in Milan, parking is a huge problem. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
