Location is good. Near to train & tram stations and pick-up points for tour buses. We were not provided garbage bags.
Not What was advertisied
This property is a breach of the ACCC laws for fails advertising. Showers had mould in them. It was advertised as plenty of room, there was no room to move around the main bed room bed. We booked 4 king singles and did not get them. Door handles and tower holders where falling off. patch marks ion the wall. Some one need to spend a couple of days cleaning and doing minor repairs. Ensuite door doses not close properly. Location was good
disappointed with the apartment, loved the location
The apartment had no balcony (as pictured in the sample photos on the website) not even a window to the outside world! There was a tiny internal sun room, the only source of fresh air. Everyone felt stuffy in their bedrooms. You have to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to another, poor privacy I think there were 20 pillows in the apartment all made from concrete. The tiny lounge room did not cater for more then 5 people seated. Plenty of towels and great location.
Easy access to CBD
This apartment was nothing like the photos. Very mis-leading. If you want to stay here mid week then that's ok but from Friday until Sunday, don't expect to get to sleep until after 2am. A night club is situated directly below and the music is extremely loud coming through the floor. The lounge area only really seats 4 some what comfortably. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid to stay here.
Not the apartment in the photo
The Anchor on Collins claims to only have two rooms, 1 x one bedroom apartment and 1 x 4 bedroomed aprtment. The apartment I stayed in was neither of those pictured. It was dirty, poorly furnished and outdated. The was no air conditioner in the bedroom and the dishwasher was broken.
Living in the center of the city.
The apartment situated at 400 Little Collins St was not the one I originally booked (at 350 Collins Street) as apparently there was a plumbing problem at the original. None-the-less the substituted apartment was just as conveniently located and of a good standard. I'll never know if I did better or worse due to the change as I never did see the originally booked apartment. Besides this, I was impressed by the service and how some minor issues such as the TV and hot water kettle were fixed immediately by the maintenance guy. Overall, I'm glad I chose the apartment option.
Do not stay here. It was disgusting.
Xmas night arrived. Check in lady Sandy was late meeting us, but she was very pleasant and could see by our faces we were very disappointed. OMG it was horrible. Dingy, shabby, dirty and so noisy, the walls were paper thin and the people next door may as well have been in our apartment. Not one window but had an "atrium" in the centre of apartment, it was the dumping ground for old mops buckets and unidentifiable rubbish. We had to close the blinds around it because it was so off putting to look at. One bedroom was only accessible by walking through another bedroom and it had no aircon at all. The other rooms had a/c but the batteries were flat in the remotes!! Cigarette butts scattered on the floors, cockroaches loved the place. One bed was truly that old and should have been thrown in the dump years ago. The linen, well sleeping in a bed that had linen on it that was stained yellow was kind of yuck. By this stage we could not have cared less and couldn't wait for morning to come to find somewhere else. We paid a bucket load to stay here as well as an extra fee due to a date change. So not what the photos show, oh wait the picture of the foyer is correct.
Penthouse with views of city.
Beautiful views of the city, nice apartment, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very cold. The installed a new heater the next day. But we still have terrible colds. Sixteen steps up to the room were hard on my knees with cane.
Unbelievable apartment !
I booked a 4 nights for a 4 bedroom deluxe apartment for 8 seniors friends , stated in the booking the apartment is 160 m 2 with balcony . I end up with a an apartment like a college dormitory . -The master bedroom with double bed attach to walls so we had to climb up the bed . - 2 nd room is Ok - 3 rd & 4 th bedroom is adjoining with bunk bed . So its like 4 pax in a room . - No balcony and No windows at all !!!! - Dining table was not stable . I had complained to the representative who show me the apartment but no answer , even I send email to concierge ..but no response . For the price I paid , I should book a similar property like service apartment with 2 room and 2 bedrooms with a full reception . -The plus point is they allowed 2 of my friends to check out later bcs they have a late flight , bcs they can not stored the luggage anywhere in the building -The location is convinient for shopping and transport
Great location
The location was excellent for a long weekend with friends. The view out over the city was awesome although the common areas were looking a bit tired.
Excellent
Amazing room, great service and cheap. Doesn't get any better than that Cheers

DONT STAY HERE, unhygienic, unsafe, no support....
The accommodation did not present as advertised and did not have enough seating for the guests to eat or sit together. The bathrooms were unhygienic and the down lights throughout the unit were hanging down from their mounts - fire hazard. The door handles on most doors were falling off. The Foxtel did not work (no tv) the entire premises was very poorly presented. We were given the wrong wifi password. I contacted the booking people who referred me to administration. No reply to our email, still no response. The property is falsely advertising the property and will not return messages left. Our family holiday was ruined by the shabby accommodation and we Paid premium price for the stay. Will never use anchor properties again, just glad none of us became ill from staying there. Horrific experience.
