Worst place I have ever stayed.

Communication was difficult at first.

Not much special but there was a nice breakfast restaurant right next door.

U of I Parent Weekend trip

Says they are pet-friendly, more like pet-tolerant. Be sure to read what you're signing when checking in, there is a spot about no pets, when I said site says pet friendly, I got we don't like all the hair and the mess. Says $20 pet fee on site, got charged $40. Arrived early, got my key and left for game. Came back about 10, got in room, forgot something in car, couldn't get door back open, had to get help, she said you have to pull on the door, turn the key and then it will open. Have to shut door hard to get it to stay shut. Door needs fixed if that is the case everytime. Parking lot is small, so if you have a big rig, be prepared. Thin walls, next door had TV up loud and could hear through the walls. Bed was comfy enough, I was there for UI parent weekend, so checked in, left, came back, slept, got up and left early next morning.

The room seemed unsanitary and it smelled. Old floral bedspreads when the online photo at the time of booking showed an updated, nice looking room. The booking even stated “newly remodeled.” Very deceptive. They did not even have conditioner, lotion, or a soap dish for the bar of soap. No coffee pot, and door would not shut properly.

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Hotel workers/owners are from India, which is obviously fine. But their approach to business and honesty is a bit different. Quoted me $25 as a pet fee to my face at check-in, and then proceeded to charge my card for $43. The place is disheveled and gross. Avoid at all costs.

I have given this poor rating to help consumers understand that the managing staff have extreme limitations and training. I prepaid for my stay, and yet the staff verbally abused me and made outlandish accusations based on something from her past. What a shock of mistaken identity and her past experiences! I am a long time EXPEDIA senior member. Nothing like what I experienced has ever happened to me previously. I booked this motel because it was 1 mile close to my wife's family and we were here for an unfortunate family situation. Expedia members and consumers-- take my advice and steer clear of this property. Even though Pullman is a University city, with many University events that attracts folks, please take my advice and be cautious and aware of this property.

There was NO television service or internet functioning. Awaiting repair!

Staff was helpful, but property was aged and dusty. Quiet considering on main drag.

The Inn keeper was nice. However, the place is VERY DATED. I know I OVERPAID bc it was a last minute booking. There was NO EV Charger.

Great reasonable WSU Welcome Week room

The hotel was perfectly adequate - a good price and convenient location for moving our first-year WSU student into his dorm room.

Towels in the bathroom had stains on them. Bugs on the floor. Smelled like someone had smoked in the room.

It is sad and dimly lit, with a lot of noise from other guests. It doesn’t seem to have been remodeled since the 1980’s.

The old pool filled in with concrete is funny. Also makes sense. Keeps the prices down. Half the TV channels didnt work. Awesome wifi/internet service. Easily in the top 3 of the cleanest room ive ever seen. Definitely would go back without pause.

This property is extremely basic, old and outdated. It had aeveral construction workers there that left early in the morning. They did not try to be quiet either. The rooms were dingy looking but clean. Beds were comfortable. I wouldnt stay there again if i had a choice. We stayed this time because we couldnt find anything else. It was definitely not worth $140.00 a night!!!

Noisy, inside and out. It sounded like someone was herding cattle in the room above me, and I could hear every time they used the bathroom. Activity in the parking lot all hours of the night. Would not stay there again.

Room was clean and spacious. Clerk at counter when I checked in and left very friendly. Will return again.

Too expensive for the condition of the property

There was a spider in the bed, some weird tape covering the smoke alarm, and what appeared to be semen sprayed on a picture on the wall. The blanket on the bed had holes in it like it had been burned. I think I would prefer sleeping in a tent.

I have stayed at quite a number of motels in CA, NV, ID, OR, and WA; the rating on this motel was well below ratings I have seen for other motels with no more and often, less quality rooms.

Location was great. The hospitality was not so great. I felt like I was an inconvenience the staff. There was no complimentary coffee offered in the rooms or lobby. The lobby doors were locked during business hours, making it difficult to to talk to the staff to ask questions. The ice machine was out of service and had to buy ice from the convenience store across the street. There were no electrical outlets near the bed making it difficult to charge electronics devices. It really sad to see such a great place lacking good old American hospitality.

Pro- parking areas well lit and clean, quiet stay, some double rooms if you have extended family or a group traveling Could improve- a little more attention to room cleaning, some updating would be nice in the temperature control area, replacing chipped countertops and less furniture in the room If you can handle low budget youth hostel or are on a budget this is perfect!

The facility is a good value.

Completely sufficient. Seemed clean and attendant was courteous. Would have been nice to have an actual coffee cup to heat in microwave, not just the plastic cup. Would have been nice to have coffee. Television was small and hard to see and hear. I did not need fancy. I needed a place to shower and sleep. Worked out great!

Pullman,WA.

Room Heater kept shutting off @ 66 degrees. Our room never got warm. No ice maker. No Kleenex box. No shampoo/conditioner samples. No spare toilet paper rolls. Only a half of a roll. No extra bath towels other than 2 thin ones for a 2 person room. No breakfast items other than old coffee. Manager complained to me for booking online instead of calling hotel directly. She said I would have saved money then she tried to upsell me to an 2 bed room for $25 more . Old motel building. Cheap.

Good price motel

Booked room for my daughter who needed a break from the sorority house recovering from an illness. She said that check-in was fine but they do require $40 cash deposit which was not an issue until the end of the day where they couldn’t find anybody to give them the refund. They had to drive back later that day, because for some reason the office was not open. Other than that the room was clean she had a comfortable recovery and the front desk person was flexible in return for the inconvenience of my daughter having to come back for the cash deposit refund. We appreciate having the lower cost option accommodation, but they probably could revise their deposit policy

Prices were outrageous for this size of town and quality of hotel due to a college football game nearby Staff was bossy and unprofessional. A common theme as hotels across the US are bought up by folks from India Sad to see!!

Way Overpriced!!

This is a very basic motel. It was clean and the beds were comfortable although the pillows were horrible. The room was way overpriced as it was parents weekend in Pullman. The owner/manager accused us of having more than 3 people staying in our room because my daughter and her friend came to the hotel in the morning to go out to breakfast with us. She was very rude and did not apologize when we explained that they had not stayed there but came over from the dorm.

The staff was helpful and friendly

They have electrical situations that made our room unsafe. We had to use players to turn up the heat. It’s very apparent Expedia does not vet the motels or hotels. This is the 2nd one where the price was astronomical and not as represented. We took pictures and will be contacting Expedia directly as they should “stand behind” what they market.

Other patrons were noisy way too late and the property is dingy and not clean.

The room was not ready. Cleaning stuffs left on the table. The owner blamed new housekeeper.

The room was perfect for a weekend. Queen bed, mini fridge, microwave… Clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Lots of parking and lots to do within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again!

Never stay here!

Do not stay here! It hasn’t been updated since we stayed here in the early 1990s. The lock was impossible to get in, we asked where the ice machine was and we’re given an ice tray, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, and the manager and a worker had an argument in the parking lot! Do NOT stay here.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly, and there was plenty of food options within walking distance.

It is a neat old school place to stay and is very reasonably priced .

This is a very basic but clean and convenient motel. My daughter and I came to Pullman to tour the WSU campus and this motel provided us exactly what we needed - a very comfortable bed, a clean bathroom with a powerful shower and free parking directly outside our room. Additionally, the Old European restaurant was just a few steps away and we were very satisfied and our stomachs full after breakfast on Friday morning. The motel staff was attentive and friendly. I have no complaints. To all those who left nasty and negative reviews, I can only guess they thought the accommodations would be akin to the Plaza in New York. We looked for simple, clean and basic and were not disappointed in the least.

One day stay

Our stay was only one day but we only wanted to have a place to rest after a long day at a celebration we attended. If you need quality TV entertainment, then don't get your hopes up or go to another motel. The towels and wash cloth were a little iffy as we had to ask for an extra washcloth, luckily we did bring our own. The only real bummer was that the room did not have a coffee maker but it did have a refrigerator. However our room was clean and we slept comfortably with little noise. For the price and the great restaurant next door for breakfast, we would stay again.

The owners are rude and unhelpful. I have stayed at this motel a few times and I continue to think it will get better but it's the worst place to stay in Pullman. If I was a recent alumni coming back to party and limited funds...this motel would do the trick. But as a grown ass adult and parent of current WSU student, it's the worst. Avoid if at all possible!! Only good thing is that it's right next door to the best breakfast place in Pullman, Old European. But even their fresh-squeezed OJ and amazing coffee isn't worth staying at this dump.

We booked a 2 bed room online and It defaults for 2 people Apparently. We were a family of 4, I just forgot to change it online. When I checked it she asked if for 2 people, I said it’s for 4..she charged me extra $25 because rate is based on number of people in the room...? That didn’t make sense to me and she observes you as you make your way to your room too..

Safety issue

I checked in Friday. The woman checking me was very friendly! She gave me the option to look at two rooms and decide which one I wanted, Rm 251 or Rm 240. She gave me the two keys and I headed up to the 2nd floor. I couldn't spot Rm 240 right away so went to 251. I used the Rm 251 key to open Rm 251, no problem, room looked fine, clean. I left and when I went to lock the door from the outside, I couldn't get it to lock. The woman saw me and came up to help me. She took the Rm 251 key from me and then said "you don't need a key to lock the door from the outside, just pull it firmly shut." That worked. I then asked her to show me where Rm 240 was. We walked down the walkway, and then had to step out onto a low roof, go around a corner to Rm 240, which was away from the rest of the rooms. She still had the key for Rm 251 and proceeded to unlock Rm 240 with the Rm 251 key! I was shocked and asked her about it. She answered:"Oh the keys work the same for all the rooms." What!? Unfortunately, because it was Apple Cup football weekend, there was little to no availability to stay anywhere else. I ended up staying there. I used the deadbolt when inside my room (251) and then just took my items with me anytime I left the room. I only slept there. I can deal with outdated furnishings, a lamp that doesn't work, a bathroom light missing one light bulb out of three. But a safety issue like this?! Nope.

Clean, warm on a cold winters night. Next to the best breakfast restaurant in the he whole town.

Excellent location next to The Old European Restaurant and a Gas Station across the street.

When I checked out no one in office so I left key in mail box.

Although short staffed, the owner was very kind and busy to make sure our rooms were ready. She was very helpful!

It’s not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect that but it’s clean, close to campus, and the owners are friendly. Really all I could ask for when in town for a couple of nights!

The location was ok. The receptionist was difficult to understand with her accent. She was friendly and efficient though. The building was in need of an extensive remodel. Certainly over priced for a room

If all you need is a clean bed, this is a fine place. Location is great. Lady at the desk was hard to understand and very short with how she spoke. Paper thin walls and windows.

I booked in advanced and showed up at 8:30 p.m. to check in. No one was available or answering any phone calls. 30 minutes later the staff showed up with Domino's pizza. No apology for me standing outside...just ushered me in like I was a nuisance. The room was okay but bathroom was dirty. Of the five shampoo packets that were given to me, two were open and all of them were sticky. Soap packet was open as well. Looked like they reused the soap. I have stayed here many times and it has always been on the low list of Pullman hotels. But this was the worst and I will never stay there again. Only benefit was being located right next to Old European for breakfast.

Not much to see here. If you want to sleep, bring your own pillow. no outlets in the room except for the bathroom.

Old and expensive

This hotel is in need of updating. Our room was on the second floor around a corner from an outside door that did not lock. The fridge and microwave were plugged into an extension cord in a bad place. For the over $300 we paid for the night we should have had a better room.

Room was not clean. Stayed two nights no check in for clean towels or garbage.

We needed a hotel for the weekend and this one was clean, and the staff was helpful. If we ever needed a place to stay in Pullman again, we would come back and stay here.

I had prepaid our stay for the room. My husband went in and checked us in. They charged him again and he paid unaware that I had already paid. We tried to get our money back and they kept telling us the manager wasn’t in. He would return the next day. We came back and there was another reason why he couldn’t come in. No other explanation to getting our money back. This is ridiculous.

WORST MOTEL EVER

THE WORST POSSIBLE MOTEL EVER. This is the last place you’ll ever want to stay. I’d rather sleep in my car personally then stay here every again. The owner harassed my friend and I and made us feel so uncomfortable. He would stare at us when walking down the stairs by the office and would tell us he’s watching us. He always doesn’t speak to you like a normal human, he only SCREAMS. So be aware when trying to communicate with him because you won’t get anywhere. STAY ANYWHERE ELSE, I promise it’ll be a better experience and you won’t get treated wrongly and harassed. The motel also smelt extremely awful. So there’s that too.

Facility is very old... no updates. It appeared my bedding had not been changed when we arrived. There was hair and specs of other stuff in the sheets. I don't like hotels that have a no refund policy... which this is one. All other hotels in the area were booked.. otherwise we would not have stayed here.

The rooms are older and need updating. Electrical sockets didn't work. There was mildew in the bathroom tile, stains on the carpet. Cigarette burns on the bedsheets. Since the motel is on a busy street, you'll hear traffic all day. You get what you pay for.

It’s what it is…

It’s expensive for what you get. Welcome to Pullman on game day. Staff were fine, bed was hard, room was cold and noisy. For a place to sleep it works but you aren’t getting 5 star accommodations or anything!

The facility itself was old but fine. Clean with friendly staff. My chief issue is charging over $700.00 per night for a $62.00 room because it was family weekend at WSU. I get upcharging to take advantage of a captive audience but this was ridiculous. For that amount of money, I would expect a lot more amenities.

Great stay

Great place to stay for a night after a game!

Due to a Hotels.com mixup I got booked into a hotel that was closed and then was put into this hotel as a lone option for a place to stay. It was clean, but it is about as no frills as you can get. It worked ok, but leaves a lot to be desired.

Dirty Hotel

The bathroom tub/shower had hair everywhere and the toilet had a cigarette butt in the toilet and dirty. So I went to the store bought cleaning products to clean and sanitize the whole room. I woke up in the middle of the night itching with bed bugs bite all over my body. Worst place I have stayed at!
