Me and my wife stayed for 8 nights at the Ameera guesthouse in Dhiffushi, Maldives and i cannot recommend it enough. For the price you cannot really get any better, Ibrahim was a great host, really friendly, personable and helpful with any queries we had. The rooms are spacious and comfy, and the guest house is located right by a beautiful beach. The island itself really has all you can ask for, the sand is white, the sea is crystal clear and the water is warm. Excursions are very reasonably priced compared to other resorts, and you get to see the most amazing sea life on every corner of the island. We went to a private island stay, snorkelled in a reef where i saw sea turtles really too many fish to name and an excursion to see wild dolphins out in the sea. This was really breathtaking and it was so refreshing to see these fish in their natural habitat and not in confinement where one would normally have to go to see them. I cannot recommend Ameera guest house enough, it was a surreal, beautiful holiday and we cannot wait to come back when we get a chance. -Mario & Julia

Ameera was all I could have wished for and more. The place is gorgeous and the staff wonderful. I opted to purchase 3 of their offered activities: 3 wins! Beautiful unforgettable experiences at a surprising price. I am SO glad I did not book a resort. Might not have the beach views or a over the sea cabanas, but in trade you get a real Maldivian feel by walking around the island and meeting the locals. Will definitely come back.

Great place, great tours, very friendly staff

Very clean and well kept guesthouse. Staff were very accommodating and always happy to help. The tours were great, very well organised and very reasonably priced. The island has 3 bikini beaches, very clean, the closest is a minute walk from the guesthouse. Everyone in the village is very friendly. Nice little cafes on the beach. We had a great time.

Nice cosy room with basic necessities

Had a wonderful time in Maldives and water activities worth the money. Hotel staff very accomadating to our needs as it was our first time here. Overall it was fun to be in Maldives!!

Peace and Quiet

While a small property, was very enjoyable! This new property is really committed to making a good reputation. They are very service oriented. Rooms were very nice, clean, and comfortable. Nicest was lobby/restaurant....has a real "Island Guesthouse" ambience. Ideal property for those seeking peace and quiet not to far from Male.

Ameera is best accommodation in Dhiffushi

Wonderful hospitality by the calm and patience bros, Arysh and Anees. Greeted with welcome drink. Prompt check in and surprise by the clean and spacious rooms. Decor in the hotel is well thought and artistic. Highly recommended to go for the Sandbank as the speedboat ride was relaxing. Sandbank promises clear beach and Arysh was patience and a wonderful snorkel guide. I can't swim but he managed to assures with care and brought us around the coral reefs for 1-2hrs. It was breathtaking. Speedboats, beach umbrella, snorkel guide and gears all in at US$25 per pax. Worth while. We also stayed at another pricier hotel in the same island but Ameera is better. If u intent to do more outdoor activities since it doesn't has its own private beach.

The island is small and cozy (about 1,000 people). Easily walkable. Our only reasons for not giving 5/5 for all is due to the fact that our satellite TV worked in only 1 of the 3 rooms. This was attended to by the staff but didn't get sorted out until our final (5th) day. Also, Room Comfort was 4/5 because the mattress was too hard for us to have a comfy sleep. But that might just be our preference. Regarding meals: We ordered off the menu rather than the full board rate. Breakfast was $4 US and included 3 pieces of toast, 1 egg, 1 sausage (a hot dog), fresh fruit (usually papaya) and juice (nondescript and orange in color). For the five days for a family of 4, we spent about $500 on food and excursions (do the dolphin tour -- it was amazing). The days that we were there were VERY HOT -- we walked around the island at 9 am and came back drenched in sweat. After 3 pm it's pleasant to walk around. But the morning was brutal. Also, when we ate our meals at the lobby/dining tables, the flies came by instantly. We ended up taking our meals in the room to avoid this problem. One tip before you book your flight: there is a gov't ferry that runs from Male to Dhiffusi -- see Ameera's website for departure time -- but I wish I would have checked the flight arrival. We ended up arriving late at night and had to spend a lot of money on a "private speedboat". We took the private ferry back for $25US per person and then $1 ferry in Male to transfer to the airport.

Lovely guest house staff very friendly

The only thing I could fault was the fact me and my partner were the last people to get an all inclusive holiday as the guest house no longer does this offer and to find that all we got was a stock up of the mini bar daily which consists of 6 energy drinks 4 small bottles of water 2 soda water but if I wanted a fresh orange juice or an ice cream this would be an extra 2 to 4 dollars in our eyes this is not what you call all inclusive we were both disappointed about this

Ameera brings a new touch, fresh design and effort to keep their place the destination of choice! ROOM (103) Top notch initial impression! All furnishing (except glass and electric) is made of palm wood and given a local traditional style. Spacious "superior" room we had the pleasure to stay at had a double bed, night stands, luggage counter, open end wardrobe and desk-plank. Bathroom similar, with shower area devided by curtain. AREA On the south east end of the island is where the ferry arrives and is less than a minute walk to Ameera. Conveniently placed with the first line of houses makes it visually appealing. Soon you find local marts, restaurant and diving school all in the west direction to the private/bikini beach - the only place to enjoy the sunsets. Close to excursions port. STAFF Welcoming, polite IMPROVE: The assistance could be more intuitive,for example replenishing in-room household goods" (toilet paper/scent/coffee/etc) but none of them were a problem when requested. Communication is quite important and the food offered could me more competitive with island's alternative. SUMMARY With the prices/availability this lodge is our best choice of Dhiffushi. Coming back here would be a bliss.

Habitaciones amplias, cómodas y limpias. A pocos pasos de la playa. Desayuno muy bueno así como las comidas. Los precios del menú son buenos . La atención del personal es muy bueno, tanto Ibrahim como su equipo nos ayudaron en todo lo necesario. Ofrecen salidas muy recomendables en grupos reducidos. En general muy buen ambiente. Lugar muy recomendado, sin lugar a dudas repetiría. Un punto negativo es el gran consumo de botellas de plástico creo que deberían reducir el uso de botellas , un mal muy extendido en toda la isla.

Sehr nettes Personal, man hat das Gefühl in einem familiären Umfeld zu sein. Abends hatten wir sehr gute Gespräche mit dem Inhaber aber auch mit anderen Gästen. Die gebuchten Touren waren allesamt gut organisiert. Das kleine Hotel liegt in der Nähe eines wunderschönen Strandes. Sollten wir nochmal auf die Malediven fliegen werden wir das Guesthouse mit Sicherheit wieder besuchen. Perfekte low budget Alternative. Vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit im Ameera

Hotellet tilbyr også å hente dere med båt på flyplass for en billig penge , alle snakker godt engelsk , nydelige strender i kort avstand fra hotellet

It was a great and unforgettable experience in Dihffushi and to stay in Ameera. The room is clean and cosy. I like the wooden furniture and the natural design of it. The staff are friendly and helpful. We played the board game together and had much fun. Thanks for teaching us. We’d definitely like to visit again!

Ameera guest house is goed gelegen nabij het strand. het ontvangst was perfect geregeld, vanaf de ferry werd je opgehaald. personeel was erg attent. wat ik wel nadelig vond het eten was beperkt voor volpension, je had maar 5 keuze voor ontbijt, lunch en dinner en het eten was niet te pruimen(dit wel aangekaart waardoor ik in een andere restaurant kon gaan eten op hun kosten). de geboden excursie waren geweldig, niet te klagen hierover. ik heb een top vakantie gehad.

Wir haben 8 Nächte im Ameera verbracht . Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit und versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen . Wir hatten Halbpension und das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt . Die Insel ist sehr klein und naturbelassen , etwas mehr Sauberkeit an den Stränden etc würde das ganze noch unterstreichen . Der Transfer mit der durch das Gästehaus gebuchten Speedbootfähre war problemlos . Die zimmer waren stets sauber und schön eingerichtet. Wir waren sehr zufrieden .

dhiffushi是一个非常舒适的居民岛，没有什么蚊子，生活气息浓郁，岛民极其热情，酒店老板也是相当相当热情，食物也非常美味，大赞！下次有机会来马尔代夫还去dhiffushi，还去阿梅拉！

Ameera, molto più che una guest house: una famigli

Consiglio assolutamente questo posto, abbiamo passato una settimana da Ameera e siamo state trattate benissimo, meglio che in resort! Ali e tutto lo staff si fanno in quattro per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile e soddisfare non solo la richiesta ma.anche solo il pensiero della richiesta. Consiglio assolutamente tutte le escursioni,snorkeling con Alì indimenticabile!!!!ottima qualità prezzo per tutto, cibo buono (tipico maldiviano). camere semplici ma curate, nuove e belle. Ma la vera ricchezza di Ameera sono le persone:ti fanno vivere le maldive con i loro occhi e questo è un privilegio! Non pensateci due volte, prenotate da Ameera!

Grazioso Guest house

Siamo stati la settimana scorsa in vacanza a Diffushi. Naturalmente le Maldive sono le Maldive. Lo staff della guest house era simpatico, cordiale e disponibile. Un apprezzamento speciale va ad Ali ed alla simpaticissima Ameera che più di tutti di hanno fatto sentire coccolati e quasi in famiglia. Certo nella piccola isola c’è ancora tanto da fare per migliorarla e sono certa che tra qualche anno qualcosa cambierà (spero però non troppo) in quanto la bellezza di quel posto sta proprio nella sua non omologazione. Se ci tornerei? Si. Lo spero già il prossimo anno.

Ottimo rapporto qualita prezzo struttura semplice ma confortevole

Ameera è una piccola Guest House sull’isola di Dhiffushi, una delle isole Maldiviane abitate dai locali che si è aperta di recente al turismo. L’abbiamo scelta seguendo le ottime recensioni trovate in rete e siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. La gestione è molto familiare, dopo poco tempo ci siamo sentiti un po’ a casa. L’hotel ha aperto da circa un anno,la struttura è moderna e confortevole. Ibrahim, un giovane ragazzo che si occupa della gestione, ci ha organizzato diverse gite sapendoci consigliare anche i momenti migliori. Come già sapevo, avendo letto anche altre recensioni, non ci si deve aspettare una cucina internazionale o un’ampia scelta nel menu ma per noi non è stato un problema. Consiglio per chi come me ha voglia di sperimentare il ‘’Mashumi’’, la colazione Maldiviana a base di tonno, cipolle e cocco accompagnata da uova e Roshi, un pane non lievitato che ricorda le piadine italiane. Posso dire che abbiamo passato una bellissima settimana e porterò nei mie ricordi Ali e tutti i componenti dell’Ameera, persone speciali che nessun resort può sostituire.

Vacanza bellissima

Abbiamo prima dell’isola conosciuto persone fantastiche, nonostante il nostro basso livello di inglese riuscivamo a comunicare benissimo! Fidatevi della cucina, qualità prezzo ottima, fidatevi delle escursioni( belle), fidatevi di Ibrahim, gestisce un po’ tutto ma con passione e amore! Che dite, ci ritornerei?? Anche domani!! Per descrivere il mio soggiorno in Ameera Guest House bastano 3 parole: GENTILEZZA, DISPONIBILITÀ e PASSIONE. Stanze pulite, curate ed accessoriate, cibo ottimo e tipico del luogo, vasta gamma di escursioni ben organizzate. Ma la vera differenze la fa lo staff che mette cuore ed anima per offrirti un soggiorno indimenticabile. Consiglitissimo!

Grazioso albergo a conduzione familiare. Struttura nuova e dall'aspetto gradevole. Camera grande e confortevole. Il servizio di pulizia è a giorni alterni ma non crea problemi. Migliorabile la varietà di cibo offerta in regime di pensione completa.

Das Hotel war Klasse. Es befindet sich auf einer Einheimischen Insel. Auf der Insel gibt es keinen Alkohol. Die Inselbewohner sind sehr gastfreundlich und das Hotelpersonal immer hilfsbereit. Beim Essen sollte einem Fisch schmecken, das können die am besten.

The trip to Dhiffushi took us about 30 hours (three airplanes and ferry), but that time was worth every moment spent at the Ameera Guest House.Thanks to all Ameera staff for their patience, help, care, wonderful service and unforgettable moments (we saw the dolphins :)). It was the best holiday of our lives :)

Empfehlenswert

Schönes neues Guest house. Sehr saubere Zimmer aber Roomservice nur auf Nachfrage. Das Frühstück sowie andere Mahlzeiten kann man sich sparen, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht. In einem umliegenden Guest house oder Restaurant essen ist ratsamer. Es sind viele Baustellen auf der Insel (neue Hotels) die natürlich nicht unbemerkt blieben.

Magic Island

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Nächte auf Dhiffushi. Unser Aufenthalt im Ameera war toll. Wir hatten Vollpension gebucht. Die Zimmer und der Zustand der Unterkunft ist super. Sehr schöne Möbel, große Zimmer und alles sauber. Man kann bei jeder Mahlzeit zwischen zwei Gerichten wählen. Zum Frühstück gibt es entweder das Kontinentale Frühstück (3 Scheiben Toast, Butter, Marmelade, eine Wurst und ein Ei) oder man entscheidet sich für das traditionelle (Curry mit Fladenbrot und Ei) + jeweils Obst. Mir hat das traditionelle Frühstück immer am besten geschmeckt. Dazu gibt es Kaffee (der beste von allen Urlauben) oder Tee und Wasser. Mittags und Abends gibt es Curry, gebratene Nudeln/Reis, Pasta oder Fisch. Alles was wir gegessen haben war super lecker. Das einzige - wenn man fast 2 Wochen dort ist hätte ich mir mehr Abwechslung gewünscht. Als Nachtisch gab es Sago, Pudding oder Eis. Am Kriterium Essen könnte das Hotel noch etwas arbeiten. Ansonsten kann ich das Guesthouse uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Der BikiniBeach ist schön, man läuft ca 8 Minuten durch einen kleinen Dschungel. Am schösten ist es jedoch nach Sonnenuntergang dort, da man von hier wunderbar die Sterne anschauen kann. Zum Baden sind wir immer zu dem anderen Strand, am unteren Ende der Insel gegangen (ca 15 Minuten). Das Wasser ist ein Traum!!!! Bei den zwei Pfeilern kann man wunderbar schnorcheln. Wir haben tausend bunte Fische gesehen und sogar mehrere große Kugelfische :-) Die Insel ist unsere Magic Island!!!
