Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. I asked for a late check-out of 3pm knowing that they would reject it or at the very best they would agree to one hour or so past the 11am check out time. They allowed my request with no additional fees. Each time I pulled up to the hotel, they came out and made sure I had a proper parking place. I left my jacket in the hotel after I left. When I called them, they immediately went up and retrieved my jacket and kept it until I got back three days later. Overall, I had not experienced such friendly accommodating staff before. When I go back to Jerusalem, I would not go anywhere else.
The staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient. The food was very good quality and good value.
Very good service and extremely helpful staff. I love the place.
Property is dated and require a refurbishment. Breakfast selection is very basic. I would not stay again based on these points.
we will return one note, the bed was not for couple' it was not comfortable ' it was a little bit small
Great hotel with nice view and convenient location!
The food is always excellent and the gym vey pleasant. Staffs are very professional and always helpful.
Good location friendly staff, great air conditioning, on a main bus route, and after a bit of exploring I found some nice local bars and restaurants.
The staff and service. The outside garden and restaurant was very nice.
Loved the relaced atmosphere and rhe beauty. Parking was difficult
For the most part the property was good. I didnt like that the A/C would blow heat at night when I had it on the lowest Cool setting
Large modern hotel with generous lobby and outdoor terrace for casual seating in various configurations suitable for business encounters or casual work. Lobby bar adds to the amenity as does a restaurant and large breakfast room opening onto the lobby. Rooms are spacious, all south facing rooms have balconies with table and chairs with views over the city. Location on hillside is more remote from Old City, within a 20 minute or so walk. Closer tourist options are available.
Good accommodation in Jerusalem
Good accommodation with clean room, friendly staff but internet (wi-fi) not good - in my room (403) it did not have a strong signal
It is very close to the office and has a nice gym. Best Price/quality in the area
Hotel is well located, clean and pleasant, not luxurious. I was always glad to get “home” to the hotel after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was very friendly responsive to any need. The food was very good—our group had breakfast and dinners at the hotel. I stayed an extra night which is why I used Expedia.
Very nice 4-star hotel. Clean, modern and relativelyinexpensive since it is located in the Eastern Jerusalem. Very good breakfast. Super clean room.
Comfortable Large Rooms
We needed to stay in East Jerusalem where it was easy to park our rental car before returning it the next day. It’s also easier to get a driver from here to Bethlehem. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Room 412 had a lovely view and balcony. There is a charming courtyard for morning breakfast although the breakfast buffet is plentiful but uninspired.
Nice well furnished big rooms great staff. We will be back.
Staff is very nice.
Got a small economy twin room :(
Arrived late at night during Shabbat, checkin was quick and friendly.... Unfortunately, we received what seemed a small economy twin room (all twin rooms are economy), although i ordered a standard double room....
Nice hotel close to east and west Jerusalem
Nice, clean hotel. Great breakfast. Staff is efficient and accomadating.
A great stay
This was a very nice hotel: the staff was extremely nice and helpful with advice and answering our group's many questions. It has an excellent restaurant, a lovely garden (for relaxing or working) with coffee shop, and it's about a 25-minute walk to the Old City. Overall we recommend it highly and would definitely stay there again.
Easy access
Very good. The restaurant is excellent and the gym too.
Hotel is ok for 2 stars
Front desk service was good but the dining room service was bad, you ask for water and they will tell you were to go or ask for coffee and they will point were to find it instead of saying please set and I will get it for you. The waiters didn't look very pleased when you ask for something and that was at the breakfast buffet (Included) and we didn't bother eating there at other times. Hotel is ok but don't compare it to chain hotels in the star ratings.
Nice hotel
I liked this hotlel the stuff is very giod I am so pleasent there ..i hope to stay in this hotel more
Ambassador Hotel Jerusalem
Location was fine. We would have liked to have been closer to the Old City. It was rather a trek walking there. Staff was pleasant and helpful. However, the hotel does not arrange tours per say. They will arrange for a private taxi/driver to take you to sites/locations that you would like to visit. The price of this was very expensive and the driver may not speak you language or be much of a "guide". Best to arrange your tours separately with a tour service. I highly recommend Bein Harim. They will pick up from this hotel for many of the tours they offer. The website states that they offer round trip transportation for roughly $25 US dollars. This is not rely the case as we had to catch a shared taxi (most economical method) from the airport to the hotel ourself. When we were departing we asked for them to arrange the same the day before leaving. I was told not to worry one could be called in the morning. A regular taxi showed up to pick us up and the driver wanted 3 to 4 times the fare of a shared taxi. Communication between different shifts of reception employees is not clear. Had arranged with front desk to have coffee available early one morning before breakfast was open. That morning the person at the front desk was clearly unaware of such request and didn't really seem concerned about facilitating the request. Over all, the hotel is lovely and the staff is friendly.
Would stay there again
The hotel is reasonably priced and the rooms are comfortable.
Dishonest staff
The hotel is in the Arab part of Jerusalem. I mention this only because it is away from shops and cafes. I would not recommend this hotel because of a staff's dishonesty. While checking out he gave me a bill for the nights I stayed. Even after I showed him proof that the nights were already paid for, he insisted they weren't and insisted I paid again. Due to having a flight to catch, I paid with a credit card. They are in the process of refunding my card, but this should have never happened, in the first place.
Nice and friendly people
Nice and friendly people
Only one complaint. My room , number 5 had no wifi
Basic room, great bathroom. Wonderful staff. Fine restaurant.
pleasant hotel at reasonable price
Clean, attractive, good service
Clean and friendly Hotel
Very basic rooms compared to what it looked like online, but received complimentary non-alcoholic drink each on arrival + plate of fruits to the room, staff was exeptionaly helpful though, breakfast OK (cool "hot" food like scrambelled eggs, sausages etc). There is small sauna in the basement included in the fare.
The breakfast was terrible.I was sick 3x when I ate their buffet breakfast. The one day I was late they made me an omlette no problems at all.Therewere 5 or 6 groups for the buffet.they herd them in like cattle.and the food is the worst I'VE EVER HAD AT a nice hotel.I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
Nice hotel walking distance to the Old City
I've stayed here a few times and always had a pleasant stay. The front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. You can easily walk to the Old City from the Hotel in about 20 minutes. Facilities are nice, rooms very comfortable.
Great Value
Good value , close to public transportation, friendly staff, excellent restaurant..............Will return..........C&T
Mediocre
Mediocre hotel in all the ways. Not worth the price.
Helpful hotel staff
I got a first floor room at first and there is a banquet outside. It is very loudly. I contacted the front desk and they change the room immediately. Very helpful hotel staff and very friendly.
Poorly maintained
Ants in the rooms, slow service even thou the hotel was almost empty
Nice Hotel
Nice Hotel, and very clean. Highly recommended for budget travel
Good hotel with great service
Hotel was perfect for a long business trip. The back patio is nice to relax on in the evenings. Lots of weddings here though, so be prepared for lots of music out back on the weekends.
Great place super great place Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx great xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Wonderful staff
The hotel is beautiful and close to sites in Jerusalem. The hotel staff was wonderful - very friendly and accommodating! They made us feel very welcome.
Very pleasant atmosphere and will come back again
We have been coming to this hotel many times in the past 12-15 years and recently we enjoyed our family stay
Good hotel
The staff at reception is not very outstanding, but the personnel at the restaurant is great. On first day we went to the Old City on foot, but it was hard - it takes about 30 minutes walking up the hill. So later we transferred by taxi - about 30 - 50 NIS one way depending on the distance. We used gym everyday. Breakfast is decent and of good quality. Also twice we had dinners at night on the terrace. The rooms are clean. But the block is muslim, so it could be uncomfortable to walk late at night, but we haven't any problems. All the pedestrians were respectful and polite. The beds are very comfortable.
Ambassador - great spot to tour old Jerusalem
It was for three nights. Friendly hotel staff. Quiet. Reasonable breakfast. Basic but comfortable room
Worst hotel in Jerusalem
Probably one of the worst hotels I ever stayed. Room wasn't clean when I arrived, after the first night I found out that I had bed bugs in my room, to make matters worse wifi doesn't work at all as it gets on/off every 10 min (1h or more to upload 10 pictures). The tour guide for the day according to the receptionist was 200 USD but the guide wanted to charged me 350 USD as he said I had to pay for his car an extra 150 USD and that the lady at reception told be in the morning (which she didn't). I really recommend nobody to use this hotel.
The hotel has very bad wifi. Also, rooms are not cleaned properly. I reported it to the reception at number of occasions and no improvement. Rooms don't have an iron each so every time you need an iron you have to request it form the reception and hope they have it. If not, you have to chase it up hoping someone else returned.
Adaar Hotel ( Jay ) recommended this hotel when no room was available
Good location for business trip

Very good place to stay a bit outside the crowd. Transport and dining options are very convenient. The gym should be improved.
