The hotel is very well located on the beachfront far enough from town to be quiet and close enough to be walkable. It is less crowded than other hotels in the area. The facilities and service are excellent. My only remark: it would be nice if one of the outside swimming pools were heated - it is too cold to swim in November.

A lovely high end hotel in immaculate condition. The quality of staff across all functions and their hospitality was exemplary. We are lucky enough to stay in many lovely hotels and this was up there with the best. Highly recommend the Amavi.

Wonderful hotel, food & staff!

Fabulous hotel, couldn't fault it. The staff were so friendly & went out of their way to look after us & make our stay special. The food was all spectacular & the half-board package with included soft drinks & a bottle of wine with dinner was excellent value. Our room was stunning & had beautiful views across the sea from the balcony. Due to the season, the outside pool was closed but the indoor pool in the spa was open & was pretty quiet most days so we enjoyed swimming there. We celebrated our wedding anniversary & our babymoon at the hotel & had a fantastic time. We've recommended the hotel to several friends already & plan to return again ourselves. We visited in January so the weather was a bit windy and wet on occasion, but was still between 16 & 20C most days.

This Hotel is overall lovely. Most of the staff are great and can not do enough for you. Food is ok, but not fantastic. Only one of the a la care restaurants was open whilst we were there and if you are coeliac (gluten free) it’s not good. Reminded me of a college restaurant run by students. The deluxe sea view room we stayed at, needs some deep cleaning, lots of thick dust on discreet ledges and cobwebs. When we arrived there was thick dark long hair in a clump at the side of the shower and a dirty towel in the luggage rack. Also water/soap marks on sink,taps, shower glass window and water marks on the tiles in the bar area. There was also two long dark long hairs in the bed and the pillow smelt of hair. Someone had used the room and this upset me. (Not a great start) Also a random piece of tile was used at the side of the sink near the skirting to hold something up. I took photos if needed. The guest services did manage to sort the room ‘surface clean’. I didn’t tell them all about the thick dust etc because I didn’t want to appear fussy. They were trying to help. Pool area is nice. Pool not heated. Nice indoor pool too. We decided not to participate in the New Year’s Eve gala, because you had to get a coach to it and share tables with other guests. Guest services were very helpful and offered to ring some local restaurants for us. They said they would come back to us…. Still waiting! Also the air conditioning has been turned off for the winter, our room was boiling.

We had a wonderful stay at the Amavi propert. The service was exceptional, especially by Diana. She made our stay even better in every way. They had great cocktails and live music every night in the bar. We upgraded to Executive Suite which had sweeping views of the ocean and was so spacious and grand. I highly recommend this property and it’s great because it’s for couples only!

Amazing property, George was great at assisting us in our anniversary celebration and we can’t wait to come again!

The hotel is very nice. We like the fact that only y and very comfortable. The asian restaurant was not available gor all the stay 3 nights. The restaurants were nice. The bath window was broken and didnt fix it. There is no conditioner in the bath only shampoo with conditioner

Cleanliness, customer care focus, value for money, facilities, and services all excellent. Amavi is a quality hotel, providing a quality service.

Pleasant stay

All staff were very helpful, courteous & welcoming. Any query we had was answered swiftly. The food in general was of a mediocre standard & slow to be topped up in the buffet for evening & breakfast, however the Nocturne taster menu was excellent. The Selene cocktail bar staff were amazing! Each evening we were in for a drink they couldn't have been more welcoming & excellent to talk to. They do the hotel proud! They are Kudreet, Kyriacos, Georgi, Davis & Radka & truly deserve a mention. There is a high standard of cleanliness and our overall stay was very pleasant.

Amavi for Two Paphos

Hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Overall cleanliness from pool area to rooms was exceptional. Highly recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing holiday.

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel was beautiful, immaculately clean, great food, lovely swimming pool, you even were given dedicated sunbeds throughout your stay. All of the staff were so friendly, polite and helpful. The location is perfect, right on the beachfront with easy walking access to Paphos Harbour. If you want an escape from it all the this is the place to head. Loved every minute of it.

A place in high level

Lovely staff, who couldn’t do enough for you. Half board option good value & food very good & plentiful. Be aware 2 restaurants don’t operate in the low season, which puts pressure on the 2 that are open. Room spacious & well equipped with great sea views.

The hotel is really nicely situated in Paphos. It’s been well maintained and is importantly clean and well maintained. The staff are genuinely some of the nicest we’ve ever encountered whilst abroad. They definitely helped to make it a special stay. Also the dining at the hotel is really top notch :) so many nice meals! The one negative is the booking system for Nocturne. We were told we could only book when we arrived. Sadly on day of arrival it was fully booked for an entire week! We ended up on a reserve list and were lucky enough to get in on our final night! It was an epic meal! However, as this was a factor in our choosing the hotel, those doing so can’t currently be assured of a table. Hopefully the hotel can address this during peak season as the restaurant is only small. I guess at that point there all four restaurants will be open, whilst at the moment is appears two are sharing the space of one. All in all though, it was a fabulous holiday. There’s some lovely places to see nearby and the hotel and staff were excellent. Definitely somewhere we could return to :)

A great place to stay in Paphos. Beautiful property, nice rooms, friendly staff. It's within walking distance of the sites.

Nice but not perfect

A really nice hotel but I don’t think it is worthy of some of the outstanding reviews that it is slated with. The food was super disappointing - we had the 7 course tasting menu at Nocturne. 5 out of 7 courses were completely tasteless! The following evening we are at the main restaurant, and again, completely tasteless Italian food. Other than that, the hotel was pleasant and in a good position. I would return but I’d also try other places first.

Exceptional hotel and staff - highly recommend!

This hotel is top class in every way. We were half board and the food was amazing quality - breakfast buffet offered every possible combination, evening buffets were themed differently every night and the tasting menu at Nocturne was incredible. A great selection of wines are included in half board too. All staff were really helpful and happy to provide exceptional customer service. We enjoyed live music in the cocktail bar - and great mojitos too! Room was very modern with sea view balcony. Great communication from hotel management prior to and during our stay. 5 star in every way!

Sensational stay. The hotel itself is extremely modern and new so you get incredible amenities and the staff are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are really quiet, the view was breathtaking, and the breakfast was fantastic too. I highly recommend it and I'll definitely try to come back!

The service provided by the staff was excellent, Steffi, Valentin are just 2 names that spring to mind. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautiful in a great location and has great amenities. I did contact in advance about a milk allergy, whilst they cater for this across the hotel the room still had normal milk. Something quite small but everything else was fantastic.

We had great time! Best service ever by all the staff! Especially Tatiana the host at the main restaurant which let us feel very welcomed every day. They really think about any small thing to make the vacation perfect. We hope to come back soon :-)

5 STAR HOTEL!!! Cannot fault anything in this hotel is was honestly so nice! It is expensive but completely worth it. it is so central and has everything a couple wants

Enjoyed our holiday here had a cabana room with private pool. The only downside was the pool wasn’t heated which I was surprised at in a 5 star hotel. The food was generally excellent and we thought the nocturne tasting menu was exceptional

Fabulous hotel and staff. Only one small criticism - there was a large amount of use of small single use plastic water bottles. No other options for drinking water were available.

Excellent hotel

The Amavi is a fantastic hotel made even better by their wonderful staff. My wife was 6 month pregnant at the time of our visit, and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. From the front of house to the cleaners, everyone goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Would love to return in the future.

I think the property felt overcrowded especially if they are portraying a couples only getaway. The gym is way too small for the size of the facility - you nearly have to step on others to get to the next equipment which also needs to be renovated. I don't believe the reservation of sun beds for your entire stay makes sense and should be looked at again. Finally and on the positive side, even though the place was crowded, I believe the staff did a good job to make that as pleasant as possible.

Our stay at Amavi was such a treat. From the moment we arrived, the staff worked so hard to make sure that our experience was amazing from beginning to end. The service was incredible, the property is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are fantastic. It was our first experience of doing half board and we were super happy with the food options, including the a la carte restaurants. The beach nearby is just perfect. Honestly, there is nothing we would have improved for our holiday except for how long we went for - if only we could have stayed longer! Thank you to the entire hotel team.

Very rare to find a hotel that is difficult to find fault with. For me this hotel has everything, modern, innovative, spotless excellent food and staff any manager should be proud of.

We had a wonderful week at the Amavi for 2. The service was great, the staff was very generous and helpful. The hotel front desk did there best to help us with our need. Also costumer service. The pool staff was amazing including the pool bar service and verity of food and beverages. We think that if the food at the main court was more locally and less international it would have been better. But over all the food was good.

Top class hotel

Had an Amazing stay at Amavi hotel. The location, the view and facilities are great. The service is beyond expectations. Attention to details - 100 %. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous hotel - bad service

The hotel is gorgeous but the service was disappointing. We were welcomed with professionalism, but whenever we tried to reach spa or room service they were busy at times not picking the phone. Spa experience was a nightmare - we were told that complimentary usage of steam room and sauna requires appointment, first day we booked, when we arrived they refused to give us towels but when we asked they told us collect from sunbeds wherever we see a clean one!!! We booked 30 mins sauna and steam bath, were told max 2 people at a time which was fine as we are a couple. FOR half of the time slot we were asked several times our room number, did we actually make a booking, we provided all that information which they confirmed when we are arrived to the spa, it didn't make sense that they would be opening the sauna door every 5 minutes by 2 spa employees to verify because they double booked. The following 2 days we weren't able to use the spa anymore as they were fully booked and the internal pool was overcrowded without any respect for covid measures. We weren't informed that room service needs to be paid on the spot, so when they delivered our order they expected cash without bringing a pos terminal to pay by card, we asked to add to the room but they said we weren't eligible because we didn't pay a deposit. No one ever bothered to explain this process nor guide us to pay the deposit, we just weren't eligible according to hotel staff. They couldn't manage so many guests.

Perfect vacation !!!

Large and clean room with modern technology. Large bath. High-level service. Varied and delicious food + beautiful and delicious desserts. Everything was just amazing!!!

I night stay

The hotel was amazing, Main Course not a brilliant standard. Breakfast was not hot and the English sausages were defiantly not English. Plates could do with being warm for main course and breakfast.

An amazing experience

This is an amazing place to stay on your holidays. The most beautiful , luxurious and clean place I have stayed the last 5 years. All rooms are sea view with enormous windows giving you the impression that you are literally in the sea. The service is beyond expectation. The spa and the indoor swimming pool are great. The dinner was excellent, very rich buffet at a very reasonable price. I will definitely choose this hotel on my next visit to Paphos

Service is excellent, room is big and comfort, the Seaview from the room is amazing, breakfast is good, Ezaria restaurant in nice experience, indor pool is a little cold fof me (28°c), the spa is excellent, only adults is perfect. In total, we loved our stay

Amazing new hotel

Amazing room, comfy, well maintained Enjoyed every minute

Great hotel with state-of-the-art facilities in a superb position by the beach with the friendliest of staff. The bedroom facilities were faultless and included ample USB sockets, touch pads for lighting and electric opening of curtains/voiles – nice touch! Bathroom mirror is heated so no annoying condensation build up. Even the security safe is at eye level making access a cinch. The pool facilities and gym are second to none and the general high-quality finish of the hotel is superb. We have stayed at many five-star hotels throughout the world that do not offer the same attention to detail. Food is excellent particularly the superb food at speciality restaurants Nocturne - where you’re supposed to wear a jacket, but few did – and Immenso – excellent. We stayed for three weeks and enjoyed every minute. Would unquestionably go again.

Wonderful stay all round

An amazing stay for couples, very relaxing. All aspects of the service outstanding, and the grounds and accomodation well maintained. The food was excellent with plenty of variety and we most certainly did not go hungry! I would highly recommend the half-board package. We felt very safe. The images are a true reflection of how gorgeous it is. The beach is not fantastic and not part of hotel. It didn't matter to us as we didn't want to leave the hotel.

Service went above and beyond!

Amavi is a beautiful property located right on the board walk in Paphos. The service went above and beyond to meet our complicated requests due to unforeseen travel changes. Our room had a gorgeous view and the beach water was amazing.
