I chose the hotel specifically because I was in town for a Jets game, the location made it extremely convenient for me. I had a great experience with the staff and the room and general hitel was very clean and welcoming to walk into.

Hotel is immaculate. Rooms are very nice. Staff are very friendly. Only issue i had with my stay was the street noise that i could hear from my room on the 9th floor.

Great location and clean, nicely appointed yet minimal suites. Awkward shower as the glazing means you can look into the shower from the main room…so, lacks privacy. Shower water only lukewarm which wasn’t great considering it was -26 degrees outside. The staff were exceptional and extremely helpful.

Too hard to get to restaurants. Tim Hortons closed on weekends. Very expensive. My son’s room had no mini fridge.

New, clean and quiet between rooms. Only noise is street noise which you get in any downtown city hotel. Careful using parkade; costs go up when there is an event at the arena next door.

This property was in the heart of Winnipeg facing the Canada Life Centre arena where we went to watch the Winnipeg Jets play. Around the area there is a mall and some restaurants.

The hotel was nice, clean and near Canada life Centre an easy 1 min walk. The lobby is a cozy space with small bar and TV. If the weather is bad, you can walk to several restaurants all inside walk ways. The parking is easy about $20 USD per day with in and out privileges, I was able to park my full size truck with a 7 ft clearance. Also if you are like me with a diesel truck and engine heater bring an extension cord they do have electrical outlets to plug in to. Over all a great location, rooms clean and service good.

I think the price of the room was more when I paid at the desk at check in than when I booked the room.

Rooms are unique, large & very well decorated

We found blood stains on our blankets and when we told them they came and changed them, then charged me a cleaning fee!! When I talked to the front desk the lady said there was nothing she could do and I’d have to wait till Monday to talk to a manager about it but would Not remove the charges.

Very close to the Canada Life centre which was important to us as we were attending a jets game. Good location downtown and easily walkable to many locations. Nice hotel love the coffee maker!

Beautifully designed hotel near the RBC convention center and various bars. An 8 minute drive from Nola, and woodfire. 10 minute bus ride to le colonial. Room didn't have a microwave which is annoying when you have leftovers. And random loud noises from the walls came on 4 am and 2am that lasted for a period of time. Tv didn't have the option to look at guides and you can connect up to 6 devices to wifi.

Overall a great hotel at a good price. The only small problem is that one of the 3 elevators was not working. Everything else was very nice and lots of small details in the room.

It was our first time staying at the hotel. It is very clean, beds are amazing, good variety of pillows, room was spacious. My only issue was that the room was very dry, my daughter and I woke up with very dry throats and nose.

ALT made a Customer

We chose the ALT Winnipeg for its location 1/2 a block from the Canada Life Center where we were attending a concert. They could not have been nicer folks. They allowed early check-in and waived their fee, Our room was large and clean with a good view from floor 11. All amenities were good the front desk folks greeted us warmly, helping with questions and transportation. We would stay here again.(despite having no chest of drawers for clothing storage in the room).

It is LOUD. You hear the traffic from the 9th floor (facing Donald at Portage crossing). The front staff should explain the parking procedures instead of giving you a tiny piece of paper.

Booked this property as had tickets to a Jets game, so it was very quick and convenient to get to the game. Beautiful, modern rooms.

The wifi was terrible. That is the only complaint. I had a stronger signal from a neighbouring hotel except I did not have the password. Could not get work done it was so spotty and slow. Otherwise excellent.

This hotel has a clean, comfortable rooms and is right downtown so you can walk to restaurants nearby. I was only there for one night, but it suited my purposes fine.

Very friendly staff enjoyed the room first time will be staying there again.

It was close to where I needed to be.

The bathroom is dysfunctional. No place in the shower to hold soap, cloths etc. The bathroom window to the room means that light streams into the sleeping area and disturbs the other guest. The saloon type door to the bathroom is impossible to close quietly. The dark bathroom floor shows every drop of water. All told, the triumph of form over function.

Stayed at the property to attend Winnipeg Hets hockey games. The location and amenities are perfect. The hotel is clean and modern. The tv has all the channels with a guide so there is no endless looking for the one you want. All the safety protocols are in place. Parking was easy with a walkway to the hotel. Will go back to stay again.

Hôtel was beautiful but the streets around it are a bit sketchy for walkers. Key card access is required at times to enter from the street, which is a good safety feature.

Overall clean comfortable room , no exhaust fan in bathroom you could turn on, bathroom dimly lit, bed was comfy, room did not cool down at night even with the thermostat set to do so

Noisy from the street, but that’s to be expected on Portage Ave. in Winnipeg. Plumbing was a bit noisy too… pipes rattle when you turn water on or off, and it took a long time to get hot water up to the shower on the 19th floor. Those are nitpicks, though. Nice hotel - good to see it in downtown Winnipeg- would stay there again for sure.
