Location was great for our concert at the cow palace, but otherwise it’s pretty old and needs some sprucing up.
I had 2rooms was ex excellent
Great Stay walking distance to Cow Palace!
I booked this hotel to see a show at Cow Palace. Despite the recent negative reviews. I had a nice room and it was clean. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Can’t beat the location!
really big rooms microwave mini fridge and coffe pod coffe great stay 👍
Cute and quaint little inn walking distance from the Cow Palace. The room was nice, fairly clean, but could use some upgrades/maintenance. Staff was very nice and helped throughout my entire stay.
Everything is nice only issue is its on a floor
Stayed for one night but won’t stay here again. Could have stayed at a Motel 6 for the room we got. Motel 6 probably would have been cheaper. Tiles in bathroom and floors looked dirty. Supposed to be non smoking room and smelled like smoke. Broken furniture. Was not easily accessible. Parking is tight and limited.
I like the rooms very nice especially ones with two beds. There not next to eachother as well. One bed is in its separate room with door that locks
Big room, comfortable, quiet.
Nice view
Only thing is area always cold and on hill. Other then that very roomy has all appliances you.
Nice clean beautiful
Good place to stay
Best hotel with best bay view ❤️
No return depósit 50 dollars
Easy to get to where we needed to go
Good ok
Very private
Convenient location and budget friendly
It was clean and budget friendly and a five minute walk to Cow Palace to see our show. The rooms are old but perfectly functional. Easy check in. They charge $10/night for parking

The room was clean and staff was nice but we did not have any hot water! After a whole day of work all I wanted was a hot shower…. We had to take a cold shower since she issue was never fixed after asking the staff twice to fix the issue
Great location. Manager was quite nice, but for some reason he could not supply us with a second blanket. How can it be that they did not have a single extra blanket?
Small, quaint, quiet, comfortable place to stay. I liked that the two queen beds were in separate rooms. Nice privacy. It's an old facility, but very comfortable and clean and one block from the Cow Palace.
Friendly staff. Easy to park. Clean room. TV was working fine. Comfortable bed.
Great stay
Very mellow and a very nice surroundings... a nice place to relax
They provide good value if you need to stay near the cow palace. The room was clean, the shower hot and the staff friendly. They provide exactly what you need for a weekend at an event. I would stay here again
No one answers the phone, no one on the property… couldn’t check in…. Awful
Dr appointment fair price
Friendly check in.
Interesting little place . would have been good if we had not been woken up around 2 am with what I think were fireworks going off outside out room
Hell pine hotel
The front desk was not there at my check in The tv in the room won't work The second room smells like cigarettes
I love stayin at this place every time I have an event at cow palace so convenient walking distance. Love the view
Good
Ok for a quick one day night not for 2 days … old rooms bad bed too stiff !!! Quick access location dan yes they do change $10 for parking 🙄
The staff was very helpfull. I wish they had repaired thenice machine tho.
Style than Substance.
The theming of the hotel room is beautiful and it was comfortable family space. My main issues were: the shower was good for my wife and I but for our 1 year old daughter it was awkward. I feel like having a separate tub would have been better. Also the man at the front desk said that housekeeping was gonna come clean our room on Saturday, however nobody showed up so our trash cans were full and we had dirty towels. Lastly when I called the front desk to ask if they can bring us more towels they let the phone ring with no answer. I had to go to stand in line at the desk just to get the towels, which is was an inconvenience.
It’s a nice view of the sunrise over cow palace. Didn’t like that you had to pay for parking, but it beats parking a block away on the street.
Nothing amazing
First room the toilet took a long time to flush, the sink took long to drain and the soap dispenser came off the wall. Second room didnt have those issues but was super humid in the room. The separate bedroom was super plain, no nightstand or decor. Just a bed and window shades. 1 rool of TP qnd 3 towels with no extra towels or bedding. Maybe you have to ask front desk but then that is an inconvenience.
Unssfe
Do hill I used to love this place. Now it’s pretty shady.
A
Pretty great could park the car 2 ft from the front door how to working shower and a soft bed Price was nice sort of cuz he tacked on $10 parking and I got $15 early check in but not too bad
Enjoyed the stay.

Everything was perfect
The employee names Vi gave an excellent customer service
I appreciate small businesses and privately owned hotels, BUT the check-in was abysmally slow, non-smoke cigarettes reek of smoke, and parking is horrendous. We arrived past the check-in time and the hotel had an outdated checkin system where things are written and scratched out on a notepad. We were assigned a nonsmoking room and were reminded of the rules multiple times just to arrive to a cigarette reeking room. We immediately requested a refund and it took arguing with the manager over the hotel workers personal phone before we got our money back and left. Skip this hotel regardless of the price. Neighborhood is also sketchy and parking parallel is difficult.
Poor
They have changed owners from the last time we visit. The assign parking was $10 extra and when we came back it was taken from us. The office/ reception area was cluttered. The head boards were filthy brown from people’s oily heads. That was the last time we stay there!
Excellent service! I always stay here and I’m never disappointed.
Nice
Place is a little out dated, our sink was clogged and didnt drain at all. Parking sucks if your stall is outside your room "tight squeeze". Will not be staying here again
This is our second time here. After a busy day it’s nice to come back to a clean room that’s quiet and feels homey. Check in is easy and housekeeping is so friendly and kind.
They were nice at first but spent an hour after the staff realized they double charged me for rooms that were already paid for online. We were late to a time sensitive event due to the front desk.
The place was clean but the towels felt like you were drying with sand paper and the bed was terrible. The floor in some spots felt like we were going to fall through. Staff was nice and place was clean and close to cow palace
We have stayed here at least 12 times to visit our child at SFSU. The lasagne we stayed will be the last. It’s just so rundown. The cloth headboards are DISGUSTINGLY dirty. I think I was dirtier after the shower. No fault of the maid service but when the shower stall is crumbling it’s impossible to clean. Too bad with some upkeep it’s a really cute hotel with easy access. 😕
Nice service and very clean and comfortable place.
Great customer service and easy check in. Definitely would stay here again.
Shady Hotel and Fraudulent Incidentals Charge
I first was offered a first floor room with a window without a lock. I went to the reception and changed me to a room with a lock in the window but it was not very clean. They went ahead and charged me for the incidentals for a room I only used for a few hours and only used it for sleeping and take a shower.
You get what you pay for. The best thing about this place is the low price. Not somewhere I would want to stay again.
Did not stay ended up booking something else
Place is nice. Area is ok. I wouldn’t walk around too much at night if you can avoid it but if you had to you would be fine.
This idiots charge for everything
From the outside the place looks good enough. Its a motel: you park in front of the room you are staying in. It is safe and there is nothing wrong with neighborhood (we stay here only for the convienience to visit family twice a year). . My gripe is with the follow details: 1) the bathroom floors ick me out. Broken, loose tiles; discolered grout and caulk; 2) the showers ick me out: small and kinda grimy and need a deep cleaning. 3) last time we stayed there for 5 days and they didn't change the linens once 3) the beds and beding are not very comfortable 4) the TVs are laughably small 5) the desk lamp didn't turn on the last time we were there. 6) we flew into town and did not have a car, but we were still charged $10 a day for parking. I had to call the front desk to have the charge reviewed, which they did.
Nice, clean, cozy place to stay
Disappointed
To be honest, from the get-go when I arrived to check in the the front desk attendant was rude. He tried to insist that he continued his break, yet there was no sign posted that the person on duty was on a break. He gave me attitude when I asked for a quick check-in Because I had plans to get to. Then when I brought up a topic that he was very interested in, his entire attitude towards me changed, he was demure and very accommodating. I was very upset when I booked a second night and told that I would need to check out, leave, and come back at the check-in time- I ended up having to pay extra fees just to stay, on top of waking up to go to the office (I work at nights as a security officer and sleep during the day) The shower leaked, The mattress was very uncomfortable, hard, and the the box spring creaky. I think I also have bedbug bites. Every time I moved in my sleep I could hear the bed. Also on Google they advertise a breakfast, and that is not offered. I feel very bait and switched because I ended up having to pay extra fees just to stay here. I booked this room because I thought it was a cute, and convenient spot To stay during my birthday celebrations and honestly it caused me so much more stress. Very disappointed in my stay here. Would not recommend. Also going to post this on Google reviews..
Average
The room that was given to us is a non smoking room but it smells like cigarettes
Hiker trip
Friendly staff but absolutely chaotic parking situation for which you are charged $10. Must be good at parallel parking in narrow spaces and was initially assign wrong spot. Then when i return later to correct spot it was occupied. Also my room key failed so had to get a replacement
Decent Rate.. Needs Upgrading
The Motel is easy to find about 1mile off Route 101. We stopped 3 nights. Each room has a parking space right outside the door. Check in was nice and easy and the guy was very polite and nice to deal with. Our room (Deluxe King Suite) was spacious.. clean.. big comfy bed.. fridge.. microwave.. TV.. toilet.. bath.. shower.. but was quite dated. All the furniture was old style wooden.. and abit tatty around the edges.. the room was for a couple.. but only one chair supplied.. and no built in USB's in any of the sockets for charging phones/tablets etc.. I had to go down to the local 'Dollar Tree' store (which was an experience in itself) and buy a couple of charging plugs. While we're on tech.. the WiFi was free but very weak.. I gave up on it in the end and just used my data. It is in Daly City so quite a few miles out from down town San Francisco.. This wasnt a problem for us as we had the hire car so drove in and out.. There is an electric tram service at the bottom of Geneva Avenue that runs to Chinatown. Its set back away from any main roads so is peaceful at night.. I slept well all three nights. Alpine Inn and Suites is a no frills get what you pay for motel.. its not at all bad.. but it could be better with abit of investment.
We want to choose a quiet environment to work on the Internet , the hotel environment is very good and safe, but the network signal is very poor, staying here with laptops and mobile phones have no network signal, we wasted three days here and can not work on the Internet, The staff blamed it on our laptop and phone,We are not satisfied with the hotel,
Nice rows of units.
It was really great for our one night stay. Everything you need for last minute planning and affordable! Staff was really nice and welcoming! We’ll definitely come back.
Nice lil hotel
Awful place.
t Everything ok
Cozy place
The location was great and accessible to all our sighting
Over all, not too bad for a place to stay just for a night
Almost like a small apartment to me. I love it
It was nice and spacious. It almost like a small apartment to me. I like it and I definitely be back to visit again.
Front Desk agent was Super friendly and even though the signage to web page says check in till 10:30pm, when I call he says he would wait for me. But unfortunately, there were a few unpleasantries. One, there was a distinct odor ( maybe Indian food) and tv did not work.
I have to be honest. We should have looked at reviews before booking. Our bad. We booked a two room accommodation. There were two big rooms that was a plus and there was lots of greenery but, after our first night everything went downhill. There was no cleaning done ( all three days), no bed change or garbage removal all 3 nights we stayed. We had same towels, no toilet paper. We had to go to the office to get these supplies ourselves. The second room had no lamp on the table. We took one from the main room. The TV was small for the size of the room. And we had to pay $10/night for parking! Outrageous Oh, and this was very annoying. On our way back from sight seeing our door key code was changed. We were locked out! The manager was not around- we were told his car broke down. So we had to wait. It was their error! As soon as we got back in the room, we left! Sill got charged for the night. Save yourselves an uncomfortable, unpleasant stay at this place.
That was a time i had no tv i told the stuff they didn't care about it
Not as clean. Water was low. Lacked of amenities. False information on parking. Customer service was low.
It was a very affordable hotel nice and clean

Check-in was at 3 PM. They told us it needed to be pushed to 3:30. At 3:40 I get the key to my room and go to it. The housekeeper was still cleaning it. I finally got in at ~4 PM. I picked this hotel as it is adjacent to the Cow Palace. However, the room quality and service are subpar.
Wont let me add the photos
To start, the front office was locked when we got there it was about 7pm When he opened the door he made us feel like we interrupted him. I booked the room, using my husbands card. The phone # was under my name. Apparently the # has to be of the person who is paying???? Never had this issue before ever. Then he made it sound like hewould not except our reservation becuas my husbands DL says Antonio, he goes by Tony His credit card says Tony. He followed up with ill do it next now, but not next time. We finally get the key card and go in the room. We go in and i see there is no blanket on the bed, only sheets. We start looking for one and find a dead roach in the closet. When my son gets there (they had their own room) The front office was very rude to him. He told him he had to wait for 15 minutes he was on his break and ge doesn’t get very many. So he cane to our room. He asked if we checked the bed for bed bugs. He is the owner of a company that deals with bed bugs. He did not see those although a roach was on the bed under the sheets. Long story short my husband ans Son asked for a refund we were not staying. The boss called and finally okayed the refunds and the front office AT THAT POINT WAS SORRY AND KEPT APOLOGIZING 😐 NEVER AGAIN....
Fairly good value for money. Great location if you are going to an event at a nearby venue. Very small TV and bathroom, but both get the job done well enough. Staff could be a bit more hospitable (yelled at us for arriving 20 minutes early).
Rather pay more
Ice machine not working, waited half hour to get checked in, refrigerator made weird noises all night, bed not comfortable, cheap price so some of this expected.
Quiet
a good option if you travel by car. The bed creaked a lot

It was very homey .
Didn't like it
Such a great little spot for what we needed. Wonderful service
Alpine Inn & Suites, Daly, CA
We liked this quirky motel and would stay there again. The staff is engaging, helpful, proactive and informative. Very convenient access to SFO, Cow Palace, and the 101.
I booked thru Expedia and when we got to the property we were told that we pass the window of accommodating online reservations and we need to rebook a room thru the property's website - which we did coz we were tired and don't want to go anywhere. We ended having to pay twice and to this day Expedia hasn't refunded us.
Very close to the Cow Palace.
Nice parking space
Only problem was the fridge started leaking
Inside room is super cold and the room with the heater is so noisy. The cleanness is ok.
