During my experience here I saw 3 peoples trucks with smashed windows, robbery.

I had a fantastic experience at the UTSA Aloft, largely thanks to Rebecca's exceptional customer service and hospitality. When I encountered an issue with my room's TV, Rebecca went above and beyond to try and resolve the problem for me. Despite her efforts, when it became clear the TV couldn't be fixed immediately, she promptly arranged for me to move to another room with a working TV. Rebecca's dedication and willingness to ensure my stay was comfortable didn't go unnoticed. Her proactive approach and genuine concern made a significant difference, especially after a long drive from Dallas. I truly appreciate her efforts and the care she showed. It's people like Rebecca who make a stay memorable for all the right reasons. Thank you again, Rebecca, and kudos to UTSA Aloft for having such a wonderful team member!

My stay was great just wish the room was bigger and the pool was inside.

This is a cool hotel - we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, clean, and the staff was super nice.

It was overall a good stay decent clean hotel with friendly staff. My only complaint is the was no complementary breakfast offered and the blinds in my room were broken.

My room was not properly cleaned. Stains & hair on the bedding, stains on the furniture, dirt on the floor, something smeared across the bathroom door. It felt very dirty staying here.

Love Aloft! I love the simplicity & the practicality of these properties. I’ve stayed at several Aloft hotels and I have to say that their beds are some of the most comfortable.

Room was very “used”

Good Vibes but cold shoulders

I loved the vibe of the hotel common areas and room itself. Staff was kind and overall it was good, except the fact that it took 10+ minutes for the water to heat up. I accepted the fact that the shower was going to be lukewarm and then mid way through it was scalding. From there I couldn’t keep it a consistent temperature. A heads up or warning from the staff would have been appreciated.

I like the concept of the hotel.

Overall it was a great hotel! It accommodated us for the location the we needed to be in! Very clean and quiet atmosphere!

The property is clean and it is in a good location for dinning and shopping options. Also a great location if you are in town for UTSA reasons as I was.

Old raggedy towels

Several changes have been made since my prior visits. The hallway lighting too dim. I was surprised at the quality of the towels. They were hard, stiff and shredded, never have I stayed anywhere else that provides towels in such poor condition. I don’t know if these towels maybe were placed in use by error maybe?

Don’t waste your time

If you want a hotel that looks cool, but sucks at everything a hotel should do, this is the place for you. Rooms weren’t ready an hour after posted check-in time. Neither room had hand soap. Gym water dispenser was empty, and stayed empty after the front desk was notified. One room had no hair dryer. Each room only had two towels, despite sleeping four people. When we called down to request more towels, the front desk said they were drying and would be “brought right up”. Twenty minutes later we called for an update, and they said it would be at least 25 more minutes. We told them not to bother, because we had an appointment. The hotel is very cool looking. The gym is nice. Everything else was a disappointment.

We were very disappointed, there was no hot water so for two days we had to take cold showers. There were no apologies, or anything from the front desk people.

Do not recommend this hotel

No hand soap to be found. Also there was no shower gel to be found. Water bottle seemed to be opened before. Front check in was not very friendly. Do not recommend this hotel.

The mature B/F on duty in the evening on Christmas STANK. She sits in her car, parked by the front door, so she cam smoke, then comes inside IF she sees someone at the desk. There was no toilet paper available for guest. Used Kleenex boxes

The bathroom door fell off twice and trapped my husband inside. They eventually moved us rooms, but they should do safety checks more often- door was very heavy and this could have resulted in an injury

Great location

I selected this hotel based on the location and rate. Upon arrival, the host at the check in desk was very kind and professional. The lobby was super cute too. Our room was cute, but not the cleanest. It had a dingy smell that I believe was from the rug or upholstered chair/sofa. The ottoman needed a good cleaning too. It was a mustard yellow color, but the stains were very noticeable and it was scribbled on with a pen (looked like a child did this). The bedding (top comforter) had stains on it. The reviews here were great, the hotel employees were very friendly and the location and rate is awesome. I will stay here again. I think we just got stuck with a room that needs a little extra attention.

Perfect Stop-Over

I had a good time especially for the area being so expensive, this was a very affordable area that has comfortable beds and clean rooms. I wish the shower pressure was more but still it was not too bad. TV was a good size and was movable so I could watch some teley while eating my Fuego Bowl from the Mexican food spot that is across the parking lot (on the other side of Burger Boy). Bar is very nice downstairs and the morning coffee was pretty decent! Great accommodating front desk lobby as well!

Fun Venue. Lobby Bar. Variou games in lobby including Pool, Jenga, Connect Four, etc. decor is modern and bright. Staff friendly, knowledgeable and helpful

property was unique in design, the beds comfortable. Great shower. decent brekfast. however the facilities looked generally worn. and there was dog poop in my hallway. that remained there the whole stay no apparent maid service the entire stay

Great stay

Brand new hotel in far northwest San Antonio. Everything about the stay was wonderful, but travellers should know that nothing is walkable, except the Costco across the street.

No Ice no pressure

water pressure low in shower,remote control for blinds for big window didn't work,ice machine wasn't working and bed mattress was pretty lumpy

Aloft has a taste of modern contemporary art and design. The location is great if your looking forward to visiting Fiesta Texas, or going shopping at La Cantera

Great stay for the money

Love the hotel. Very contemporary feel. Love the shower and bathroom area. The price was great. The only issue was my daughter’s room had dog hair on the seating area. Staff at front desk was very friendly and nice.

Was not great experience

We’ll come back. Really safe area, full of all sorts of restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops like Starbucks, Dunkin & Dutch Bros. There is Costco 3 minutes away, yet quiet enough to rest. Clean room. Coffee including decaf, hot water and three kinds of milk in lobby in the morning. Only thing: Hot water takes a good 4-5 minutes to get when showering. Again, we will come back since it is our first time staying far away of River Walk and we totally loved it. It is definitely a different and better San Antonio up North.

VICTIM OF THEFT ON PROPERTY!

Victim of Theft on Property! I stayed two nights at this location in San Antonio for a work conference. While the rooms and property were fine, I had a major issue on my last night—my truck was broken into, and several hundred dollars in items were stolen (none of which were in plain sight). When I reported it to the staff at 6:30 am, they mentioned this had been happening frequently. If there's a pattern of theft, they should inform guests at check-in, not just rely on parking lot signs. A simple warning like, "Hey, we've had a few break-ins recently. Please take extra precautions" would have made a big difference. I would have parked differently or removed valuables. While the staff was apologetic, they made no offer to credit my room or do anything to help make it right. This is poor customer service. Although Aloft isn't directly responsible for the theft, they failed to take preventive measures or offer a meaningful resolution after the fact. I’m out thousands of dollars in damages, and it’s safe to say I won’t stay here again. Thanks a lot, Aloft!

Nice

Nice location. Is self park but you have to go back to your car to put a parking pass in your window. A little annoying when you’re a woman traveling alone and checking in late. The shower was dripping all night. Again, annoying but not the end of the world.

It was a beautiful site and very clean

No breakfast. Small rooms. Room was relatively clean except the carpet had stains showing. Hallways were dirty.

Large window shade down with broken mechanism, mattresses totally worn out, sliding door to the bathroom can’t stay open, tiles grout showing dirt…this chain of hotels is usually so good! Here the architecture and the lobby are awesome but the rooms need care.

I’ve stayed at quite a few Aloft properties and this was by far not held up to the Aloft Marriot standard. I was very disappointed. The room was very dingy, dirty and not well maintained. The front door has been painted and had paint peeling. The bathroom sliding door wouldn’t stay shut. There bathroom floor was cracked and had about a 2 inch chip in it. There were specs all over the floor I thought was dirty but I think it might be paint? Looks like spray paint over spray. The carpet was rainbow and you could see how filthy the carpet was with on the white areas of the carpet.

The staff gave me an extremely late checkout and seemed to go above and beyond. Will be back!

Great stay near UTSA

I had a great stay! The room was really comfortable and I loved the retro decor. But what really shines is the staff. Friendly, helpful and efficient are words to describe them. Loved the bar. Very nice place to come in from a long day and have a glass of wine.

My first time here and will be staying more, very convenient to everything and UTSA. The view from my room feels like I'm somewhere else.

Property is perfect locations for parents visiting their college kids

My family and I were looking for a hotel we could frequent whenever visiting each month so we decided to give Aloft a try. Aloft is a great hotel with super friendly and helpful staff. Although we enjoyed our room and was pleased and were aware the hotel is pet friendly, I do believe Aloft could do a better job cleaning rooms and any shared spaces of pet hair. The couch in our room could not be used because it had a significant amount of pet hair on it which leads me to believe it had not been vacuumed/cleaned prior to our check in.

Everything was excellent!

This hotel was neat, very clean and modern. The only thing is there was a lot of construction sounds going on. Other than that I would stay here again, staff is great and there’s so much to do. Swimming, board games, pool table etc

The guy in front that check us in was very Unapproachable and he was also the bartender and he look very frustrated with making the drinks . I don’t know his name but everyone was great and friendly. I will definitely stay there again !!!

Loved the property

We stayed for 3 nights. Housekeeping came once. They never made the beds or emptied the trash. We had to call for toiletries and towels the tensing 2 days. It’s a nice facility and worth the price, just slightly disappointed.

Simple weekend

Was great for a weekend get away. Pool is small so didnt bother to use since therr were a lot of kids. The room was great otherwise, king bed was comfortable, AC worked great. Shower took a bit to get the hot water going. Room was clean. Shampoo/bodywash/conditioner/lotion and soap provided. 1 complimentary bottle of water. No military discount.
