Staff ahhmazing and very clean

It was a great experience staying here!

The staff was amazing!!!! The hotel needs some work.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 9 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was not as expected due to the ongoing issue with housekeeping. Throughout my stay, I had to repeatedly ask for housekeeping services. Each time I made a request, I was told someone would come to clean my room, but they never followed through. This constant need to chase down housekeeping for basic services like fresh towels, bed sheets and cleaning was incredibly frustrating. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve this aspect of their service.

Awesome stay

Aloft hotel was a pleasant stay. The location is centered around many shopping stores and restaurants. There is a security guard on site and it is a safe family location. Our Lady of the Lake was only a10 minute drive, but no traffic going to and back. The Zoo is close and North Star mall is nearby.

Great Location

I loved the location, there’s plenty of options to eat around at a walking distance, for Ex: First Watch, Miguelito’s, Freddy’s etc. There is a Burlington store and target near by. You can call and schedule your pick up from the airport, walk to B21 and they will Send someone to pick you up. You can also use this same service if you need to travel within a 3 mile radius from the hotel. Great and kind staff.

Parking sucked

Staff was very kind and helpful and it was easy to check in. Location is great. The room, however, was disgusting. It smelled like BO which was coming from the pillows themselves not being washed. Grout was turning red in the shower from bacteria and mineral build up. Wood built in was literally hanging on one side off the ceiling. Would not stay there again

Very disappointed

My king room reservation was not ready at 5:00 pm. Weak apology with a complimentary free breakfast, at a grab and go? Room was not cleaned or refreshed after first night. One elevator wasn’t working. Ended up with two queens to avoid an undefined amount of time for a king room to be available. Very disappointed. Parking availability marginal.

Nice hotel

They were very quick to fix a couple things in my room when I told them about them. Location is convenient. Shuttle was nice & prompt but can get too scheduled limiting use. Staff very attentive & friendly. Pool table & games to check our to play. Outdoor pool is not heated.

Screeching AC unit😤

The AC unit made a terrible screeching sound the WHOLE time it was on. Thank god it didn’t run constantly but when it wasn’t screaming at us it was so HOT in the room (it was 25 degrees outside so make that make sense). The sliding door for the bathroom didn’t stay closed and had absolutely no way to lock it. The manager could do nothing to refund any money. Also the mattress and two of the pillows were really hard. I don’t have photos but I have a video of the AC unit.

For the 2 nights we stayed there was no hot water and it's was cold outside. I had to catch a flight and shiweree at 5am with cold water. What bothered me the most was the staff knew there was an issue but they dont tell at the moment you are checking in.

We’ve stayed at this hotel many times but never on the side we stayed in last 2 nights. Room 105. No hot water in the shower. Called the desk. Busy signal. Went to the desk to ask about cold shower & was told to “ Let the hot water in both shower & sink run for 10-15 minutes to get warm water. Eco friendly?? The ac/heat was so loud that the tv had to be turned up & down 10 clicks repeatedly. Not a comfortable mattress. Normally we like this hotel but not last night.

Nice amenities, friendly staff, clean and trendy rooms, and conveniently located within 5 minutes from the airport.

Everything was good except we booked the room became it was close to the airport and it had a 24 hour shuttle. Well, it wasn't 24 hour. It didn't start until 5:00 a.m. and we needed to be at the airport by 3:30. We had to order an Uber. We made it. However, not what we expected.

NICE PEOPLE, NOT SO NICE ROOMS. This property had great customer service, everyone we encountered was so nice and helpful. Our room was in poor condition with baseboards pulling away from walls, no guard on the bottom of the shower door so water went everywhere on the floor. The room was not cleaned well either with visible hair on the carpet, dust in the coffee maker area, & the shower tiles stained with white water build up.

Staff were super nice. Sarah at the front desk was super helpful and great to work with.

Had a great time at this hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. It’s a nice and quiet place to stay. It’s close to a lot of shops and restaurants.

Staff members were very nice and friendly. However we had previously stayed here and the hotel looks like maintenance is not being performed. Starting with no hot water, the carpet smell awful. Also they try to charge a $25 fee per night for our dogs while they advertise no pet fee. I refuse to pay and they waive it because i had proved the false advertising.

No hot water for a day and a half. Check in wasn’t ideal. Couple fought for at least 2 hours (2am-4am) screaming and physically fighting until the cops came.

It was in a great location close to restaurant & a bowling alley which was fun. Hotel was nice had comfy beds. Overall a good stay for families.

The hotel needs a facelift. I’m ok if you don’t share this review but room 236 needs attention. The tv screen is going out, it’s way too small for the room and then shower looks gross because of the extremely poor tile job. Everything else was fine although the police were there when we arrived because of a vehicle broken into in the front hotel parking lot.

Everything was great except the fact that there was no hot water available. My family and I had to take cold showers which was really really unpleasant. They did give us free breakfast vouchers, but a hot shower would've been better.

The room was nice; it’s a good location with a lot to do in the shopping center. There was no hot water, I notified the front desk, they said they’d reset the water heater. I attempted 3 times to shower and had to jump out everytime because the water was too cold.

I have stayed in many hotels in San Antonio and this past weekend was our first time at Aloft, it was a wonder experience. It felt so clean, staff was nice. We will defiantly be booking again.

Hello - I stayed at the ALOFT in San Antonio Airport area on Sat Nov 9 - There was a wedding party and they decided to party on throughout the night by the outside fireplace under my window. Needless to say, I did not get any sleep. I called the front desk at 1 AM and Connor did ask the party to tone it down, which they did but not enough. There was music, yelling, dancing on top of the fireplace. Crazy stuff. I had to leave at 3 AM for a 5 AM flight, so not sure how much longer they were partying there but I must not have been the only guest who did not get any sleep because of this. I paid a handsome amount for a night of sleep, and I understand that I cannot expect total quiet, but this was ridiculous. I expect you will arrange for a refund for this. I booked via Hotels.com

Many restaurants around property. Big Mall just a block away. The free Airport Shuttle was fast and with friendly staff.

Stuck in an off-market room?

The hotel lobby and common areas were immaculate (although the bar was closed.) The room amenities on the surface looked good, but the maintenance and upkeep of our room indicated that we were likely assigned a room that was off-market. Our room was one of several (but not all rooms) that had no hot water. The beds were full size instead of queen as advertised. The television had 10 white spots that looked reflecting light but were actual burned into the screen. Then to top it off, the room phone was not working so we had to call the front desk about these issues using a cellphone. That said, the housekeeping manager (Rosie) was very kind and understanding, and worked with the GM to comp the second night of our stay since there were no rooms available to move to.

Checked in on a Friday evening and hotel had a strange odor. Tried bathing the kids but there wasn’t any hot water or water pressure. Wife has thick curly hair and she was not able to wash her hair easily. In the middle of the night, my truck was burglarized

Cold showers, clogged sink, stained upholstery, needs a good overhaul makeover.

No hot water, broken hair dryer, very poor shower head, and also a broken telephone so bad to walk down to lobby each time to complain things.

The carpet leading to the rooms is filthy and my room smelled like a dirty dog. Some deep cleaning needs to be done!

The Aloft has been one of our Marriott Club hotel we like to frequently utilize for out of town lodging accommodations. However, this was the first one we encountered issues. The hot water was icy cold, the toilet did not flush properly and the refrigerator did not work. Kudos to Juan for repairing the toilet also giving two free drink vouchers and thank you Chris for giving a credit of $50.

Enjoyed my stay and would come back again.

Convenient location for easy access to airport. Also good restaurants close by. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Clean, fun, and safe!

Amazing place, loved everything about it! The bowling place next door was a great addition we bowled till 1 a.m and walked 2 minutes to get back to the hotel! There is no free breakfast but the first watch right in front has some great breakfast options!

Main issue I had was no hot water. Had one hot shower for the week and the rest were either cold or barely warm. Two out of three front desk I dealt with were not personable at all. The morning desk and the kitchen staff were great. They saved this from a 1 rating. Definitely not what I expect from a Marriott property.

Great place to stay

They stay was pretty good, just different. The shower door would swing and not close properly. The privacy from the restroom door was not there. No lock on restroom door. Mirror on restroom door could definitely break if someone “closed” the door too hard. Flooring was coming apart.

Someone from the staff came to the door at 10 am attempting to open the door, luckily the safety lock was on. They told me someone said I was already checked out, how can I be checked out when the safety lock is on? That was odd

Came into town for a military function for a few days. The front desk team was very friendly, organized, and helpful. The amenities I saw appeared to be in good condition, I.e. the pool, laundry services, and bar. The room had a nice view of the city, was spacious, had a comfy bed and soft pillows. The area near the restroom and vanity could use some extra love. The mirror had some stains and discoloration due to age. Overall good stay.

Nicer rooms than I expected and so comfortable.

This hotel was perfect. I needed a night alone. It was quiet and calm all night. The bar was always busy, the pool looked clean. The shuttle ran every 30 mins and there was so much within walking distance. I would definitely go back

Long story short, Early check in was nice so Thank You, TV did work and took 2 X to get some progress, changing the channel took around 20 second per (no kidding), took 20 min for the shower to get warm (ish), had surgery and needed to change dressings, asked to borrow scissors from the desk NOPE had to use them there SMH, music blaring outside the hotel until 2 am (had to be up at 3am so zero sleep. Saving grace was young man Marcus who tried to salvage on the way to SAT and really nice genuine individual. Keep that one for sure. Never coming bak here.

I like ALoft hotels and usually stay there when possible. Great hotel. Convenient location to everything. And by convenient I mean, in walking distance to anything you could need. Hotel had good vibes! Rooms could use a little updating. Besides that, good place to stay.

It's a trendy type spot for ppl with pets

Kids way too loud in hallway. Dog barking. Wouldn't mind either if room blocked sound. Was exhausted and was in bed by ten and was not able to get to sleep until midnight. Didn't see any coffee in the morning or during day. Cool spot if you're up late. Didn't bother with tv. Couldn't get Netflix to work. Tv also automatically shut off. Nice shower. Expected carpet for the cost. Extremely small room. Went to red roof inn instead and much better experience for literally a third less with an extra bed.

Clean, but definitely showing some age. Tattered and patched areas. Still, decent and in a great location. Parking is shared with a breakfast restaurant which is annoying. Staff is always friendly here. Just a bit shabby. Needs some love and attention.

Quick Trip

Stayed to help get my son situated for college.

This location is a excellent example of an active relaxing hotel. There’s a lot within walking distance such as, entertainment, dining and shopping. The staff is super friendly. The gym is clean and the pool is nice. Overall a great experience. One thing that can improve is my lamp had no bulb ( I didn’t absolutely need it) and the room needed USB plug ins.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. Always a clean room and the bed is great in my opinion. Lets not mention the convenience to everything you could need while traveling . I highly recommend.

I didn't like that we didnt have hot water for 7 hours, the Pool was not function. The cleaning ladies came Monday and Wednesday never Vacum the carpet.
