Near the main hotel zone’s attractions, but not worth the price at all. If this hotel is a sample of what an Aloft hotel is, you’re better off absolutely anywhere else. Premium price without the premium look, feel, food or rest. The disconnect between the room price and what you get in exchange is far too great to not feel taken advantage of

Air condition did not work well and property did nothing to fix it. We had to ask every day for extra towels even after requested upon arrival.

Very happy to stay there. I wish a balcony of see view was there. But rest everything was very nice.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent place for vacations in family, all staff are very engaged to support with all you need.

Pros : price, close to tour pickup spots, resturants. Very nice and friendly staff, house keeping, front desk etc(you may have to use google tranlator). Onsite tour bookings. Good option if you are busy with day acitivities Cons: Front desk staff spoke little english. They gave us paper bracelets and told us we had to return or $12 fine. No onsite resturant (only breakfast). Ongoing construction. Asked for beach towels and they said staff was not available to process(clean) towels and they are limited. They had open bar with limited drinks but staff handling bar had limited knowledge on making cocktails.

Very clean and modern. Not sure if it is good for family as the room I had was great for two people. Very close to gift shops, restaurants, convenience stores, etc., but no beach access directly.

Reasonably priced for a four day stay. Location is close to everything. Downside is there are no resturants. They serve breakfast in the am but it was underwhelming looking and cost $14. I couldnt buy a coffee there without purchasing the breakfast. There is not a coffee maker in the room or a microwave but there is a fridge. However there are two Starbucks with in walking distance. Very nice rooftop pool area but both times i visited it, there was no one occupying the area.

Location is great close to everything. Beach, shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and attentive. Places are clean. It is not a luxury hotel but more of an affordable place

The hotel is very weird about having a bracelet and gives me the vibe as if i was staying in a jail. Everytime I enter the building they hound you if you have no bracelet. This is very over the top and unfriendly to guests. The management seems very cheap because they are looking to charge for extra guests. Also their trash cans have no bags, management is so cheap.

Just finished our stay at Aloft and would recommend it, as it was quiet, clean and affordable. I was there for medical reasons and had to do some recovery in my room, so it would have been nice to have a smart tv, but it's not the end of the world. Even though it's in the party zone, we couldnt hear any of that noise at night. Staff were friendly but didn’t go out of their way like I've experienced elsewhere in Cancun.

The property is very close to the beach, the peer to go to Isla Mujeres, local restaurants and many other things. In conclusion, it is very well located for a getaway.

I had room 409 There was hair in the bathroom By the sink and the shower. The sheets were dirty and it looked like the room had not been cleaned

We came to this property after leaving our original booking, which we reserved for seven days. This is another property in the downtown area. This property makes our trip so beautiful, value-added, and nice. We really enjoyed the property's facilities and surrounding activities. Our children really enjoyed it. The breakfast was very good. I like the beans and eggs. Thank you. We will come again.

We loved the able to walk to different beaches, restaurants, and shops. Very convenient location. Breakfast buffet was ok, same food for 3 days. But the 12 hours of drinks was great as well!

The hotel was very dirty. Some of the areas were with evident neglect in cleaning and lack of follow up on things which were not working. One of the two The elevator two elevators was not working.

Aloft Cancun is at the perfect location. The most happening street is close to hotel location. Also, you will able to find many options for food.

The property is run down and there was no water this morning for showering. The water from the shower trickles down. Housekeeping staff is friendly but the front desk takes a long time to check in. The hotel is connected to the convention center so the location is great for conventions.

The bathrooms were a bit dirty. It is within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach. You can also take the metro which has a stop right outside of the hotel

Good, friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Gave me a wristband pass for free bar drinks this was unexpected but good. Rooftop and pool area is nice. Room is ok. Great view and comfortable bed and pillows, I slept well. Bathroom and mirror a bit average and tired, but everything worked. I was happy for the price.

Decent for a quick 1 night stay. However not the cleanliness and some staining on the bedding.

Seemed very mediocre. Wanted to use the foosball table but they needed to use my passport for collateral. Half the lights in the room didn’t work. Very meh

Loved this property very convenient to the night life we can with Cancun jump off and the staff were very accommodating and friendly they even helped get taxis for us the hotel could use an upgrade but I would definitely stay again

Front desk staff was great, first time going to Cancun and they were so easy to talk to and explained everything perfectly 10/10.

Excellent location if you want to party

Location, location, location. The location of this place was so convinient. Once you exit, go right and public beach access is found just crossing the light. There is an Oxxo and grocery story on the corner. We walked everywhere from here. Beds are comfy, as you would expect from a Marriot hotel.

Room very clean, comfortable bed, good pilows, bathroom very clean and good shower with good pressure of the water, room specious, bottles of water avaiables every day, drinks are free all day and very good breakfast with scrambled eggs, beans sausage, good coffee. This hotel doesn’t have beach but you cross the street and is playa caracol and ferri to isla mujeres.also, the hotel is very convenient for transportation, infront you can take the bus to go to cancun center, good location

The place was noisy. People were allowed in the rooms did not sleep all night. I notified the front desk. Nothing was done about it.

I had a great 10 day stay at Aloft. Exactly what I paid for. Hotel is a 3 minute walk from beach, the rooftop is beautiful, and plenty of bars, restaurants, and clubs within a few minutes of walking. Friendly staff and free drinks all day.

Great and convenient location. Grocery store beside hotel and beach across the street. Bus stop outside. Excellent friendly staff, free open bar from 11 - 11 and free WiFi which we weren’t aware of and bought SIM cards but we know for next time. My teens loved it and the rooftop pool was perfect. It was much better than expected. Recommend for all families. Will return again.

The property was a perfect location. I wish the rooftop pool opened early so I could have watched the sunrise. One of the best parts was Mario. Mario helped me with everything I needed and made great suggestions. If you stay at the Aloft find Mario and work with him.

Good hotel but not a 4*

Confortable and well located hotel General state of the room was fine but some details need to be fixed to make it a 4* hotel. Room was quiet, spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Spacious bathroom but would need to be refreshed. Breakfast was fine but not so much choice. Could be improved. Hotel well located. Very close to the beach and to the ferry for Isla Mujeres. Many choices for restaurants around.

The good: it was on the beach, very beautiful beach. We went on night and day walks on it. Some food was good and some items surprised me like slow cooked tender beef shanks. Bones with marrow intact. They can cook eggs for you on the spot. Rooms were clean and ours had a pool directly outside our room with a sunrise/sunset view. Seats on the beach were comfy and useful. The bad: 1 restaurants needs bookings a day in advance with limited time. I couldnt do a massage because it was booked. And the staff at the normal restaurant had to be told like 3-4 times to bring a coffee before they did. They smile and say they will bring it but just dont. If your looking for party vibes, this aint it. It was more quiet and family vibes.

Loved the location and the included bar. Staff will knock on your door asking u when your going to check out at 9am even though check out isnt tell Noon

I stayed at this property in 2016 with my grand daughter and we really enjoyed the rooftop pool, bar and restaurant. I was very disappointed on this trip to find out that the bar and restaurant no longer exist making the rooftop pool not much fun at all. They replaced it with an “open bar” downstairs which offers very limited and very watered down drinks. Plus the area has turned into even more of a party central than it used to be. So loud, price gouging and limited options. If you are young and looking to party this is your vibe. Me, not so much. However as usual the staff are super professional and helpful. They were awesome.

Everything was good except there was no cable TV available. The entire hotel had no signal for over 24 hours.

Fake beach advertise!!

Despite of being a good reputation chain ALOF this particular hotel does NOT have direct access to the beach as they advertise it!! You have to cross a high traffic street in order to access to their " front " beach!!

The hotel is OK. But what's not OK it's when police trying to break your door in the middle of the night and when you open it they say just checking. Kids are scared, you are in shock and no explanation from the staff, 0!!?thats horrible, won't recommend it

Aloft is in the perfect area for shopping and clubbing. Everything was close (walking distance). There is an $115(USD) additional charge to add people to the reservation.

The facility has an amazing staff and an updated boutique feel. We only stayed one night before catching the ferry over to Isla Mujeres but I think it was perfect for our needs. The walls are a bit thin, so I could see it being loud at times, but for a short hotel stay it worked perfect for us.

For the price, it’s really not terrible. Staff was nice and the open bar is a nice touch. But the rooms are pretty rough, similar to a motel kind of vibe. We only stayed overnight to catch an early AM flight.

Easy access to shopping and food, The ferry across to Isla Mujeres is directly across the street. Access to one of the best beaches is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Good location. Lobby and open bar were great. Hallway carpets need to be replaced. Room ambience (furniture, fixtures, etc below the standard I am accustomed to in a Marriott property.

Loving Aloft Cancún

Perfect location with rooftop pool and beautiful views! Affordable and casual. Free select drinks from 11am - 11pm. We loved our visit and Mario who works in the lobby, is a wealth of information and super helpful!
