Place is run down beds are uncomfortable stayed 4 nights no cleaning of room

If you are looking for a quiet Belize vacation, then this is the spot.

The Almond Tree Resort is a gem in Corozal Belize The staff are amazing and assisted us daily from drinks to car rentals as well as sights to see in the area

Almond tree resort is a gem in Corozal. The pool and views, the outstanding staff, the almond trees on the property are so interesting. Lots to do in the area, visit the Mayan ruins and many other activities. It’s safe to walk, boats to go explore other area of Belize as well.

Travis was fantastic and helpful. Breakfast was great. Just remember when booking that their are tiers for the room which have different amenities. We didn't have a tv, but didn't mind.

Nice hotel. They do not honor the breakfast option

El hotel está muy bien, limpio y bonito, habitación amplia. No recibí el desayuno que estaba incluido, aunque llegué a la hora que me dijeron, la persona que atendía no fue a trabajar y no hubo desayuno.

For being labeled a 'resort' it lacked the very basics in the room. No microwave, barely cookware for anything, no information on water, room was not clean upon arrival, no soap to wash dishes, etc. Pool lacked being clean and bikes were shared with employees vs the guests. No information on the beach area and crocodiles.

It was in a quiet neighborhood near the Ocean and the facilities were good.

Pleasant stay if you are ok with no TV. Very nice view. Limited menu in restaurant but other options available nearby.

Beutiful property

Location is beautiful as a water front facility however it needs some updating. The outlets in the room are few and at awkward places on the walls. There is no small refrigerator to hold water or anything else, no small coffee service to make your own coffee and the lighting leaves little to be desired. A very dim room.

Best place to stay in the area. Very hard to do better than the Almond Tree.

Just a little dated and a little too sleepy for us.

This hotel is in a stunning setting right on the water. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is an amazing property with the beach on one side and a pool on the other. The rooms are kept very clean and the property is extremely well run by Betsy, her husband and Owen.

Great place to unwind and relax

Clean, comfortable, spacious, no TV in room (Great!), garden area beautiful, nice patio, feet from the sea, staff was super accommodating, polite, easy to talk to. I definitely recommend this place if you want to just chill

Perfect Getaway

If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay in Corozal, then we highly recommend the Almond Tree. We were warmly greeting and kindly taken care of from the time we checked in to arriving to our room. The property is beautifully kept, and the view of the bay was amazing. Our room had everything we needed including a refrigerator, eating table, large TV, and comfortable beds. Everything was immaculate and the kitchen was well stocked for our three-night stay. We enjoyed the pristine pool each afternoon and found the surroundings very relaxing with the lush greenery that was in full bloom. My wife and I are looking forward to staying at the Almond Tree again on our next visit to Corozal. 

We give this hotel a 10 out of 10. We were the only guests in the whole hotel. So the 5 of us felt spoiled. We had a meal especially cooked for us. We felt safe and it was super clean. We would highly recommend staying here if your taking the bus from Cancun and need to stay at a place for the night and fly from Corozal to San Pedro the next day. The Mexican border is only 15 minutes away and 40 minutes from Chetumal.

Almond Tree has a beautiful view. It’s in a great location. We appreciated the use of their nice bikes. The buildings were so well built. The breakfast was fantastic. The art/furniture was awesome. The pool was fun. We’d definitely stay here again.

The property was right on the water and away from town allowing for quiet and nice views. Having the pool also made for cooler afternoons out of the heat.

Very nice place to stay! Our room was clean and quiet. The whole place was very quiet! It had great views and the pool was really nice. The food was great and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend this place to stay!

Extremely accommodating staff!!!

The property is very unique and the exterior is intriguing. I had high hopes on the way to my room. The room must have been closed up for awhile because the dust particles causes a skin irritation. The bathroom is open at the ceiling, your business isnt private. The toilet seat was stained yellowish. This is unit #3. The sofa covers were old and grungy looking. A repair mustve been done to the wall becuase the area remained unpainted. The Oceanview is amazing as well as the landscaping. The pool was a nasty green color. Not inviting at all . I was happy to check out.

What an beautiful place! Our room is huge with 2 queen beds and large sitting area, plus its right on the water so the waves provided perfect sounds for sleep! Betsy is wonderful and has been a fabulous cook and concierge. The next time we are in Corozal, we will be staying here.

This was my third trip to Corozal. Each time has been a challenge finding the right place to stay. Fortunately I stumbled upon this beatiful tropical beach resort near town.( easley walkable or a bike ride to town) Slightly off the beaten path,on a dead in road, in quiet ,well established, and safe neighborhood. Great for morning walks or a run. The resort was lush with many exotic native plants, and birds. The pool was always clean and made for great morning and evening swims.(large pool) I booked a beach view room. Amazing morning sunrises, enchanting sounds of waves crashing on the beach, cool non salty breezes. The room (#4) had a modern tropical loft vibe with a unqiue shower. I could go on and on about this place. But I guess you will have to come and have an amazing experience for yourself!

Everything was spot on

The property was great. Beautiful ocean view, wonderful restaurant facilities and quiet. The beds are rock hard which i wasnt fond of.

You can literally walk out into the warm waters of the Bay. Its peaceful and beautiful. The public road into the property was in dire need of maintenance.

Bad location for the lack of amenities and options

If you aren't driving than don't stay here. Its in the middle of nowhere. And during the evening there are millions of bugs swarming the path to/from the property. When I was carrying my things up the stairs I put my hand on the top of a concrete pole/pillar thing. It broke! (see picture). In the room there is no TV, no refrigerator, and no microwave. Which was surprising for the price and poor location. There was ceiling fan though. When I turned of off, the chain broke (see picture). Hey Almond Tree, you got some work to do.
