Garbage never emptied outside property. Inside clean enough but garbage in bath never got emptied. In a week one set fresh towels no place to hang current damp ones. Hot water could be scarce. No tissues so had to use Toilet paper not enough supplied so had to buy. No hand soap had to use body wash… had to buy body wash. It was ok … not bad but not great. Some times it’s the little things.
Excelente location
This is a little gem in the centre of Lisbon. On arrival, I was a little concerned as there are a number of bins near the entrance but entering through the front door feels like walking into a hidden paradise. There is a beautiful little communal garden, but the icing on the cake was our two storey apartment with a gorgeous bathroom. We had a wonderul two night stay but wish we could have stayed for longer.
Plates or some pots in the cabinet weren’t cleaned the first day. But the kitchen was cleaned the next day.
Very narrow ally and uneasy access
Nice clean apartment, great location
Excellent Stay
We had an amazing stay with our family of 4. The room was spacious and clean with comfy beds. Our welcome was excellent and we really appreciated the tips on where things were locally. If you are staying in Lisbon I would highly recommend staying here!
Antonio and cleaning lady were amazing and super helpful!!
good location, lovely apartment
Overall good
Good location. I was located in the basement so it was very dark with minimal light. Helped for good sleep but it was a bit like a dungeon. Room was also quite loud. Bit functional kitchen and coffee to use. Was happy with my stay but the basement isn’t great.
If you want a good nights rest, don’t book the cheapest room like we did. The room is in the basement facing the street, and you can hear people late at night cleaning/going through the garbage bins. You can also hear people from the top unit. Additionally, we were charged 20 euros for late check in, I understand this can be an inconvenience, BUT this detail should be disclosed in the check in instructions/policies, as we would have definitely booked elsewhere had we known.
Would definitely go back. It's one of the best quality / price I've found in the area. The staff (Fernando) is welcoming and helpful. That been said, the house would ned a few fix (moldy pillow case, amongst others)
It was in the old town and we felt like we experienced some of the local street life. Studio was in basement and you Could hear dustbins being used and view was just onto small street/wall but size of room was huge for the area. If you are a light sleeper these bins might not work for you but for us, we slept well!
Great place to stay when visiting Lisbon. Located in a desirable location with lots of food options and close to sites. Communication with the host was easy and the check-in process went smoothly.
Place is neat and quiet. Lovely lady doing the cleanings and walkable distance to Rosario, tram 28 at east access. We enjoyed our stay.
Just wonderful xx
Wonder accommodation Instagram worthy!! Brilliant location just a perfect romantic hideaway.
Stay here if you don't want to sleep at all
Honestly, probably the worst stay.To start with we got the room in the basement. There is no sunlight, I guess it's ok as we are out most time of the day. The horrible part is when come home at night getting ready for bed, the entire left half of the building is facing an alleyway which there are many trash cans put in front, you can hear the people who come collect the trash around midnight, then you can hear every noise from upstairs, you can also hear people talking outside as there is absolutely no sound proof whatsoever. It's very tiring as during travel, we can not rest at all. Very very disappointing.
No help from the staff only excuses
When you have a problem just to call a taxi you don’t have any help from the virtual staff?
Very nice
This was our second time staying at Alma Moura so obviously we liked the place and location the first time, this time however we got the less than best room, it was in the dungeon with no kitchen and glass walls for the bathroom, they were frosted but we had to go outside when we had a visitor that needed to use the bathroom, not the best for a nice place like this, also this room was a bit noisy every night during garbage pickup and or singing drunks.
The lady that checked me in was 30 minutes late and was VERY unprofessional. I stood outside in an alley with dirty garbage after 24 hours of travel to get there, and she barely communicated she would be late. Once she arrived, she wanted to take pictures of my vaccine records (which is fine) and of my passport (NOT fine). I told her no, as we are taught to not let others have that information besides viewing it, which seemed to cause some tension. She sat down on the chair during all of this in the room which is ignorant. Then the real issues began. I laid down in the most uncomfortable bed I had ever been in, and people in the alley were SCREAMING until 3:00am, banging on the door from the alley that directly was in the apartment, garbage cans were being rolled around, glass was breaking. I felt UNSAFE. I stayed awake all night, afraid for my safety. When the morning came around and I went to shower, there was NO hot water. I messaged everything to the lady that checked me in, and she told me I had no reason to feel unsafe (excuse me???), and that there is nothing that can be done for the noise or shower. I was supposed to stay for two nights, and left after one and am demanding a refund through Expedia. This property should NOT be advised.
We had the Alfama studio downstairs. It was modern, clean and comfortable. Great amenities. 1st class in all ways. Pablo & Paulo are wonderful hosts. Very good location if you want to be in the Alfama neighbourhood. Cons - not much exterior light. Sometimes felt like I was in a very fancy cave. Unit was across the street from garbage bins. It could be very noisy at any time 24 hours a day.
Great location, quiet, reasonably priced. Pedro, the manager, was helpful with arranging airport transfers. Would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.
Great location and the property was very nice. The manager seemed a bit distracted when we arrived -he seemed to have a personal phone call that needed his attention more than we did, he also needed to be asked a couple of times to attend to the drain in the sink, he promised to leave us with coffee a few times (still waiting for that) and there is no laundry facilities on site, as advertised. In addition, there were some minor added costs (tourist taxes) that for some reason could not be included in the original bill and we needed to pay cash for -I'm still waiting for the receipt. Other than these minor issues, it a great place.
Wonderful staff and residence
Paulo and the other staff were just amazing. I had a very late arrival, due to an airplane delay in Lisbon so Pietro was making sure that the taxi driver will wait for me. I reached the hotel around 2-3pm in the morning, and the staff waited for me to check-in and let me do a late check-out the next day. This was so greatly appreciate it as I was tired and travelling with a child. They went above and beyond to make sure that we had a nice stay. I would recommend anyone who want a home away from home. The residence is clean, has all the things you need, nice location.
Great Location for touring the old city. Court yard not as pretty in real life as in the photo featured on Expedia. Room at street level had very little light, however room is nice. Okay property but Expedia room not a balcony room as noted in photo.
The courtyard had a smell of stale cigarettes which greeted you in entry and exit and meant the kids couldn’t play there sadly
First of all the apartment was clean and well appointed. The managers of the property couldn't be nicer or more helpful. They would do anything to make your stay pleasant. The location was great. The only issue we had was with the noise on the street. The garbage collection (at least that's what we think it was) seemed to go on at different periods of time all night long and the noise carried down the long alleyways. By no means is this the fault of the hotel but it disturbed our sleep each night. Otherwise, I can't think of another negative.
Would recommend if noise/sleep is not an issue
The room is clean, huge for EU standards and well decorated. Although we were in the basement units, it was still bright. The shower was amazing. Location is perfect. However, the bed was super uncomfortable and hard. We also heard every noise from room above and people walking outside of our door (leading to the street). They had garbage pick up and local businesses had much activity happening over night that kept us up due to the noise.
Terrific Spot in the Alfama District.
Paulo was an excellent manager. He arranged a restaurant for us to hear the beautiful "fado" songs and provided other helpful information about Lisbon. He was one of the most professional property mangers we have ever met!
Great place, will go back
This is in a great part of town with good access either walking if you like hills, or take tram 28. Great place, good people, would definitely stay here again. Only down side was that the people above us were a little loud but not a problem except at late night and early morning. Breakfast was at a great place a few buildings away so look up Copenhagen coffee lab for info. Each breakfast was enough for two meals. We made sandwiches with what we couldn't eat and then had a lunch for later. Great little market a block down for any extras you might need.
Great Location. Everything in easy reach either walking or by team. Hotel management also went the extra mile to look after us.
The apartment is very nice. We had a leisure 2 days in Lisbon and we are more than happy to stay in the apartment the whole day. We had good rest and we were able to cook. All what we need in the kitchen, in the bathroom are ready in the apartment. It was just a very pleasant stay! Location is also very nice. Walkable distance to the cathedral.
In the heart of Alfama district, this gem had every amenity we wanted and a great host always available to answer our questions.
The accomodation is very nice, however extremely noisy from chairs moving upstairs etc. etc. Children did not sleep until 1am. I supposed this cant be help with people above and below you, but it did unforutnatly affect our trip
Very good location! Very clean and well equipped. Would highly recommend it.
The place was great, as were Paolo and Pedro who helped us. The only complaint, which is significant, is that on two of our three evenings we were awakened in the middle of the night by someone ringing our room doorbell from outside the gate. Once after midnight, once at 4:40 a.m.
Fantastic Alma Moura residences!
Nothing but good things to say about these apartments. We stayed in “Castelo” which was very comfortable lovely, decorated and would definitely go back. We briefly seen another 2 apartments Amalia & Graça and they were also beautiful. Pedro & Paulo were very welcoming and helped us with local tips and ordering taxi etc. Ana who I only communicated by email will also very helpful. The area is fab and we loved stepping out the gate and we were right among a very traditional atmospheric area.without hesitation I recommend Alma Moura residences.
Very good stay, Host was super nice , helped me find my way around
Great neighborhood for the flavors of Lisbon
We had some difficulty to get into the gate upon arrival but remembered the coffee house just at the corner, mentioned as a place to order breakfast. They made a call to the manager for us. The room was well appointed with everything needed to use the kitchen for meals, if one wished to cook. Do note that driving to the location with GPS was somewhat challenging (as read in other reviews). This is a compact neighborhood with, very narrow/steep streets, tram tracks, and one way indications. The underground parking just 5 minute walk which this lodging can provide for $15/day is the only way to store your car. We walked the area without a problem but you may choose to use the bus or #28 tram up and down. Perhaps there could be a few more lawn chairs to enjoy relaxing in the small courtyard. Some guests were smokers which took the two chairs just outside our ground level room. Thanks so the management for our comfortable stay!!
A fabulous place to stay in Lisbon
Pedro was an amazing host. The taxi driver dropped us off at the wrong location and we were able to ask somebody to call Pedro. Within minutes, Pedro picked us up and walked us back to his apartments. The apartment is spacious, very clean, has very clean bedsheets and a wonderful large and modern bathroom. The entire apartment must have been recently renovated. Pedro was also helpful and that he offered to store our luggage while we took a weekend trip to Sintra. Pedro also provided us with a welcome bottle of Vinho Verde, a Portuguese produced wine That I have also enjoyed drinking at home. Note that this area of Alfama Is the area of this been that it did not burn down in the earthquake a couple of hundred years ago. The streets and shops are still original and very narrow. There are many, many restaurants, so I’m having fado music in this area. Be sure to follow Pedro‘s instructions if you are going to be dropped off by a taxi. The streets are uphill entering the area. Apolónia train station is very nearby down at the main street. From there you can take trains too many locations including Porto.
Great spot, centrally located.
Great little hidden gem. Would ha e been nice to be one floor up but our exit door was great. Good location to everything in Alfama.
This property was luxurious with beautiful amenities. We recommend Alma Moura Residence to anyone who’s interested to stay in the historic Alfama district of Lisbon.
Fantastic location ,right in the centre of the old town with just a short walk to all Alfama street life.
very Nice and well located, Paulo very helpful. Quiet and beautiful
Darlene, Ontario Canada
Great location would highly recommend. Very spacious and clean. The location is perfect and close to everything. The host was on time and very helpful
An Oasis in Alfama
An oasis in Alfama. Great service and very comfortable.
Lovin' Lisbon
Location in Alfama requires a little work to find. Parking is near non-existent; fortunately we turned our car in at the airport and took a taxi to the hotel. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street and the nearest car friendly street, Escolas Gerias has very limited parking, but does have trams running in both directions. Staff was quite prompt in admitting us to the hotel and setting us up with keys and codes. We had a studio with basic kitchen, a spacious walk through closet and a very clean comfortable bathroom. We also had a dining space and love seat at the foot of the bed. We were on the ground floor and there was a small but pleasant shared garden just outside our door. There is a wonderful coffeeshop one minute walk from our room. We had a very quiet, comfortable night's sleep and we hope to be back.
Lisbon
Loved the area we stayed in. Close walking distance to restaurants bars and cafes. Custard tarts are to die for. We only ate seafood and it was the best tasting seafood
Excellent location in the old town area of Alfama right on the tram 28 route. Clean and well equipped for our family of four. As noted by some other reviewers the beds are very firm. There's a couple of small supermarkets close by and coffee shops.
Very nice apartment in old Lisbon, trolley car and more. Next door to great breakfast place and 1 minute to great restaurants and grocery store. We loved our stay!
Very good location in Alfama. Walkable to everything. Property manager Paulo is incredible!! So helpful, gave excellent recommendations for our entire day and even invited us to an underground, locals Fado show. Would stay here again just for him. Parking/driving is a bit difficult so I would call ahead so hotel staff can meet you and show you the parking location.
Paulo was an excellent host. He was available when ever we needed him. But also went above and beyond to recommend places to visit. We hope to visit again. Thank you for our stay. Bridget and Alan Beasey
The room is super clean, very confortable and of a great size. The staff was super friendly too!! The only downside was the fact that when we got back to the room late a night, we've tried to turn on the AC but it didnt work. And it was too late to disturb anyone about it! But I would definitly go back there, localisation was perfect :)
Spacious apartment close to scenic views
Enjoyed 4 night stay on top floor apartment. Very friendly and helpful host . Apartment is on quiet street just a few steps away from number 38 tram stop yet very peaceful. Lovely modern apartment just a short stroll from central view point, shops and restaurants in the historical quarter of Alfama.
The apartment was great! The only complaint I have is there was construction being done right outside our window so sleeping past 8am was not something we could do. I understand that the apartments were not at fault.
Located in what turned out to be our favourite neighbourhood in Lisbon - Alfama. Our room was located in the basement, but because of the hilly nature of Lisbon, we were able to have enough windows and even a back door leading out to the laneway that we could open, step out to for fresh air. The residence always felt safe and intimate. There's a small yard with tables and chairs set out to relax in, read a book, have a drink, etc. They met with us prior to check-in to show us around and give us our key. They were patient, as our flight landed later than expected. They gave us some great restaurant recommendations as well. Also, upon checkout, we had forgotten something in our room. They were kind enough to meet with us again when we returned from Porto to return the item. When we return to Lisbon (and we will), we would definitely stay here again!
The weather was excellent. Very friendly welcome to the hotel - accommodating our arrival time - and very helpful during our stay. Would definitely recommend.
Absolute Perfection
Located high on a hill, a large modern home, fully equipped and I mean fully equipped, with great views. A 5/10 minute walk to beaches and restaurants. Very quiet/tranquil location which ensured a very restful holiday.
Excellent location, super clean and comfortable, and the owners where always helpful and available for advice. Very quiet and easy to get to main sites in Alfama. Highly recommend. Loved it all! Thanks for everything.
Clean, modern, with a bit of luxury in a vibrant and extremely charming district. Staff was excellent! And super helpful. We loved our stay!!!
A great hidden gem in Alfama!
In the middle of the Alfama area close to the castle, it has a very nondescript entry from the outside but once inside the gates, it has a beautiful garden/patio area and a great, big, clean, modern room. Paulo and Pedro were very helpful and attentive. A wonderful 3-night experience!
We’ll be back!
It was pleasant, once we got into our unit. Due to tranportation issues and having trouble connecting with hotel agent, it was difficult to get into the hotel. But we would definitely stay there again!
Great place to stay, noisy neighbors
This is a great hotel in Lisbon - apartment style and nicely located. The issue we had was that we could hear the other people staying there through the side walls and above us as well as in the courtyard. There was a noisy group who partied a long time and ran around above us. Just be mindful of that in case you get stuck with a party crowd. Staff were very nice.
Perfect!
The staff (Bruno, Ana, etc.) were so helpful and friendly - the room was perfect - close to everything you would want to walk to in the Alfama. Close to the train station, and if you're flying in they will even set up a taxi for you. Would recommend to anyone!
Nice little pleace
The weather was and the city is super nice. one feels welcome here :-)
Spacious modern apartment suite in a central location in the Alfama. Everything was perfect. Pedro was very responsive and helpful when we asked for advice about finding an alternative way to get to Porto seeing we had booked to travel on a day when there was a general strike on the train system. The only small issue was that there was a few likes and bags of garbage waiting to be picked up strewn on either side of the lane at the entrance door to the property. Not the owners responsibility to keep the lane way clean and clear though, of course.
Superb Apartment and Location in Lisbon
Superb apartment in Alfama area of Lisbon. We had a 2 night stay in Lisbon before heading down to Algarve. My wife did some great research before booking, and the Alma Moura Residences turned out to be all we had hoped for. The 1 bed apartment was very spacious, well equipped and very clean and modern. Nice courtyard area with couple of deck chairs, table and chairs with parasol The location was ideal for visiting the old town, with a truly excellent Copenhagen Cafe next door, where the breakfasts were exceptional Special mention to Paulo, on-site manager, who was very helpful from start to finish. All in all, would highly recommend 5star
Nice clean property. I was very happy with the room size and cleanliness. Good location.
Great little apartment in a lovely part of Lisbon. The only problem we had was when arriving at the property the owner was not there to meet us. We had a late arrival and then a delayed flight but had emailed the owner regarding the time which he had replied so was fully aware of the actual arrival time. We were collected by the service offered by the owner and can only say this service was brilliant, the driver was at the airport waiting for us, telephoned his boss to let the owner know we were on our way and thankfully waited with us in the small street by the property until the owner finally appeared after waiting about 10 mins. If the driver had dropped us off and left we would have been standing in an unfamiliar city at 11pm with no one to help. We were then show into the property, the owner then went through all the appropriate info and left, not once apologising for not being there when we had arrived. This is not acceptable and had the taxi driver not been as helpful as he was we would have been helpless.
Wonderful small apartment block in the old town
Arrived hot and tired but the manager and staff were fantastic. Cold beer and wine in the fridge. Beautiful air conditioned apartment. What more can you say.
Alfalma perfection
Alma Moura is a pergect location to explore the Alfama district. It's clean, comfortable and spacious. Close to good restaurants and cafés. Very walkable.
The apartment itself was very large and well kept. It had all the dishes and everything to cook. The only (and big) problem we experienced was the CONSTANT noise from the street. Even with ear plugs, we were constantly woken up by trash cans being taken out at 1 am or neighbors upstairs moving around. The walls are very thin and the noise pretty much never stopped. It's unfortunate because it was a nice place otherwise.
Great apartment in a great location
The Alma Moura Residences apartments are located in the heart of the Alfama with a lot of sites and amenities within walking distance. The apartments have a lovely courtyard and are very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. Pedro welcomed us and provided great information on where to buy food, restaurants, sites etc. An excellent base to explore Lisbon.
Nightmare in Lisbon
We got to Lisbon after our nine hour flight around 7 am in the morning. We knew that the check in was around 9 am. We tried to reach the hotel personnel and they informed that our room would be ready around noon. I was with my wife and my three year old, can you imagine all that waiting time with my kid? We explained the situation to the hotel’s personnel and no special consideration was made. It was a nightmare
Great weekend in Lisbon perfect spot Great place to stay staff really helpful and beautiful room
Gives you a local feel!
Cute little studio, clean, absolutely charming! The area is very cute and close to a lot of great places and you really get the feeling of how it feels to be a resident in the area. Fair warning, be prepared to do a lot of walking in the area, uphill, stairs, cobblestone roads. We made the mistake of walking from St Apolina metro to Alma Moura Residences and it was a 10 to 15 minute walk with a checked in luggage. Uber is very much a thriving thing, use that or the tram or the buses to get around if stairs, cobblestone streets and up and down hill walks are not your thing. We plan to be back to Portugal some day and will likely stay here because it is such a cute little place!
Charming, spacious, great location
Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! Paulo was extremely friendly in arranging our transfer from the airport, then getting us situated in our lovely apartment. It was spacious and charming, and close to good shopping and restaurants. I'd love to go back!
Wonderful spot in Alfama
The apartment was very clean and spacious for a studio. The concierge was helpful and pleasant to work with. The location was pretty central to Alfama and you can walk to any main attraction in 20 minutes or less. Recommend it for sure!
Nice and modern apartment.
The place had sufficient space and had good WIFI signal. The downside was the cleanliness of the place. It is packaged as a service residence but it was not serviced (cleaned) properly except for changing the towels and fixing the bed covers. The bread crumbs on the table and floor was not cleaned. The toilet was not properly cleaned and there was a particular smell in the master’s bedroom toilet. If you are not accustom to walking in hilly places you should be careful since the roads (made of cobble stones being located in the old city) can be very slippery especially when wet. Unless you take a taxi, the main transportation is a tram that comes at intervals of 30 minutes.
Location
We managed but for seniors location is on narrow ,hilly streets, taxi could not turn right up to residence to drop off luggage. Enjoyed nice dinner with Fado music joined by another travelling group.but was challenging to find back to the residence. The taxi we had ordered for our trip to the airport the following morning could not get through to the nearest street because a vehicle had broken down and the street was to narrow to pass. So we pulled our luggage beside the tram racks to another street to catch one. We enjoyed the Alfama area and if you are younger this residence would be fine.
A great place to stay
Paulo was amazing! He took great care of us during our stay. The location is great, the apartment was very nice, and the beds were very comfortable.
Alma Moura Residences
We enjoyed our stay in Alfama, it is an old authentic neighborhood. Location is in the middle of Alfama, old town, walking distance to everything. Streets and alleys are very steep.
Kiwi’s in Lisbon
GPS took us along team tracks and very narrow street which was correct! We phoned the check in staff who guided us to a parking spot. Very helpful and check and stay was great. Perfect location.
Great Location
This is located right in the old part of Alfama, the premises have been recently updated. The only negative for me was the lack a floor covering throughout (just painted) and bare walls in the shower. Otherwise it is well appointed and we enjoyed our couple of days here in Lisbon.
Great Location and modern quiet and comfortable. I would certainly return. Great Location and modern quiet and comfortable. I would certainly return.Great Location and modern quiet and comfortable. Overall very good stay. Just be sure to reserve parking (for a fee) in advance or you'll have to search it in overcrowded historical district.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and it was great. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff member met us at a nearby parking garage and helped us get to the residence, carrying our bag there with us. Parking is extremely difficult, but location is great if you want to explore Alfama on foot. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to friends, along with staying here again in the future.
Really great place, tram 28 stop very close.loads of restaurant around.hotel staff were very friendly.we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Be surer to stay at Alma Moura.....
First thing to highlight about this 6 apartment property is what a fantastic location. It's right in the heart of Alfama and the historic centre of Lisbon. Great for exploring the Castle of St George (5-10 mins walk uphill) and near to the stunning viewpoints of Graca and Largo Das Portas Do Sol. It's also convenient for the Baixa district and Praca do Comercio etc. Also very handy as the tram runs at the top of the road. Despite all this - it's still peaceful with a grassy courtyard area to relax (pretty unusual in the centre of Lisbon) and I slept well. We stayed in the ground floor 'Mouraria' apartment - I understand that this is a much better option than the 2 in the basement. The room was clean with a nice modern bathroom and a fridge and kettle etc. The owners had also sorted out a cot for our daughter and organised transport from the airport. Special mention to Paulo - our host. He ran to the shop at 22:50 to grab us some milk free of charge and helped us with our cases when leaving up a huge hill! You wouldn't get this sort of friendly service at a hotel. A great 2 night stay at a reasonable price.
The apartment was very clean and fully equipped. The concierge was very helpful. Superb location!!!!
Great Room/Location/Service
First off the Alfama was a great area to stay and Alma Moura was the ideal accommodations. I The room is like a little studio apartment and is clean and spacious. It is close to many restaurants and bars. The Alfama neighborhood is old so be prepared to get lost a bunch but its safe and quaint so we actually enjoyed the adventures every day. Eventually you get your bearings and know your way around. Paulo who showed us to our room was super friendly and knowledgable about Lisbon. He took his time explaining the things we needed to know, spoke great English and was always available. Excellent service.
Room backed on to the alleyway which is used at all hours. Somewhat noisy. Otherwise perfect.
In the heart of the historic district
Clean room, professional staff, they also offer transport to and from the airport for a fee. Very positive experience.
Very good nice and clean, evrything is nearby thanks to Paolo
Excellent urban base
Very clean and modern apartments (not a hotel, so don't expect daily maid service) in a fantastic location, with a wonderful Lisbon tram literally on your doorstep. The two young entrepreneurs running the place will do anything for you and speak excellent English. Nice garden to relax in after scaling Lisbon's many hills. Highly recommended.
Fantastic!
Great location. Steps to Tram 28, restaurants, shops and sites. Lovely accommodation, clean, comfortable and modern. Loved everything about our stay. Pedro was a wonderful source of information and very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Highly recommend .
Lovely apartments , couldn't fault anything . Even checked in earlier and they let us check out later on our return. Would highly recommend these apartments .
Clean hotel in atmospheric area
Great for the old part of Lisbon with narrow lanes locals drying washing cafes etc and lots of trams
Sweet spot in big city!
Paulo, the manager is a very kind and helpful host. He helped us with getting around Lisbon. He has loads of information on Fado, food, and the culture. He is out going and very friendly. The car service was nice. We found it great to be picked up at the airport and there was no problem with finding the apartments. The apartment was nice and very new!

Off season stay X 6 nights
Loved the Alfama neighborhood and proximity to restaurants, superettes and coffee shops. Tram 28 just around the corner, but our street quiet. This was off-season. No one else was staying at Alma Moura. Walked downtown a few times. Very safe. Locks and interior door closings didn't work well...which restricted bathroom privacy and was tedious when locking/unlocking main gate.
