We arrived from our flight early morning and the owner let us check in early since the room was vacant. After a long time travelling, this kind gesture was very appreciated. The owner is kind and soft spoken.

Flight was delayed, couldn't get ahold of property about late check in, said the number was no longer in use.....by the time we got in the office was closed.

Great value. Our room was clean and quite. Great location beach right across the street and plenty of restaurants. What made the stay was the excellent service from the owner. Will stay thier again.

Excellent service. Very kind people. Mr. Manolis, the owner was very kind and hospitable. The staff was great! Fotini who took care of our room is a sweet girl and very good at her job. The hotel is located next to the beach. I recommend the hotel if you wan't a simple room with balcony by the beach. The hotel also has a pool and parking service.

Very traditional Greek hotel. Very clean with lovely staff. It is 2 star but great value for money. Location is great.

The location is excellent, close to the beach, tavernas & shops. The pool was fine but you can't get so much as a drink or a snack there. The rooms are adequate but dated, most of the power points didn't work so you have the choice of kettle or fridge. The staff are very friendly and helpful when you can find someone. The big downside was that we had a late flight both ways, reception was shut when we arrived but a key was left outside (which I wouldn't have known if I hadn't rung) going back we had to pay an extra e30 to have somewhere to leave our bags and have a shower. Overall it was fine to lay your head and not expensive but a few little changes would make it good.

Hotel was outdated, beds were uncomfortable. We closed 3 beds in the room but one of the beds was a cot. Linen service was every 4 days, shower was extremely small so when you took a shower all the water would go out.

Uncomfortable stay!

The hotel is very outdated, mould stains on the popcorn walls no counter space in the washroom, very small shower with water spraying everywhere and mould stained plastic anti slip that was changed once I complained, two single beds and the 3rd bed was a cot....extremely uncomfortable beds and pillows (old and worn out condition), only one big towel and one face towel per person that was changed every 4 days and no service on Sunday. The girl that cleaned the room was very friendly and helped us when a complaint was voiced. I think we overpaid for the condition of the room!

Comfortable value for money

Relaxing comfortable stay, breakfast was adequate and the room had all amenities you need. The host was friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel is in a great location. Would stay again.

Traditional furniture, conveniently priced. The guys working there were really kind. Good breakfast with homemade cakes. Excellent price quality balance.

Nice hotel, great value

This is a very nice hotel, confortable room and bathroom. The location is very good, frequent buses to chania and platanias. If you are looking for a new modern hotel then go to Platanias, not to this one. If you are looking for something more traditional where you speak to the owner directly, then this is for you. The beach is only 50 metres away, the bus stop just outside. Our room was tidied up every day. Very good experience overall. WI-Fi in the room. The swimming pool is not big and is 2m at its deepest. It is a good alternative to the beach if it is windy and you don't like waves in the sea. The breakfast was of good quality, not a huge selection but everything they have is better than most hotels, even the more expensive ones. Has got car park, easy access to Chania by car and easy to drive from the airport. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Would definetely stay again if i visit the same area of Chania.

Der blev ikke gjort ordentligt rent, kun lige svinget en gulvmobbe. Vi fik ikke skiftet sengetøj en hel uge, selvom lagner lugtede surt, vi fik skiftet håndklæder engang imellem men de var i skidt stand. Service blev bare vasket med vand og stadig pletter efter kaffe osv. poolen var enormt beskidt i bunden. Det virkede som om den blev renset men det kunne ikke ses. Enormt lydt. Poolbaren var lukket helt ned.

The receptionist (maybe the owner?) was kind and helpful. The area is beautiful and good connections everywhere. Very good restaurants around. The room was good enough for our stay. Room was cleaned nicely, but there were some small things about cleanliness not worthy to even mention. Only thing I was wondering, was some contradictional information. The door of the room had some info papers. One said that the bedlinen and towels will be changed every 4 days. Another said about covid and that these same things will take place only by request. Also on the walls in the lobby were rules about silent time: one said 21-8, one said 22-8 and I think one said 23-8. I did not bother to ask. But Im curious anyway. All in all, I definately recommend this hotel!

Bon hôtel deux étoiles avec clim et frigo, proche de la plage avec supermarkets et tavernes à proximité directe de l' hôtel.

Petit déjeuner moyen, liste affichée de tout ce qu'il y a mais non respecté . Pas oeuf tous les jours et pas fruit .

Molto cordiali, un atmosfera tranquilla , molta pace , le stanze sono pulite ,molto belle con il balcone vista piscina , zona perfetta per esplorare i dintorni , il mare a due massi dal hotel ,Agia marina a 5 minuti in macchina e chania a 25 minuti di macchina Tutto molto piacevole

Comoda in zona servita dai principali servizi, piccola piscina. Si trova a mezz'ora di taxi dall'aeroporto di Chania.

Location fatiscente è tenuta male...troppo trasandata,puzze di ogni genere muffe e di scarico fognario. Personale non qualificato,arrogante e incapace di comunicare in inglese. Piscina una bacinella immersa nella ruggine. Fuori dal contest hotel.

Tråkigt hotell

Hotellet har sett sina bästa dagar, dom har väl inte gjort nått sen 90 talet.. tråkigt rum, tråkig entré. En gård man kunde sitta i som kunde varit mysig om man lagt ner lite själ i den. Poolen var blahablaha.. inga parasoll så de gick inte att vara där, slitet. Det fanns en bar som ej var öppen.visserligen bara 2 stjärnor men ändå. Tråkigt hotell. Personalen kunde knappt nån engelska. Skulle inte bo där igen

Nice hotel close to the beach

Very nice hotel, peaceful and safe atmosphere in the hotel. Traditional and simple style with everything you need. We always found free sunbeds at pool area. We spent also time at the beach and in Chania and didn't want to pay extra for luxury. Breakfast included was great. The owner is very friendly and helpful and you can book trips directly at the hotel.

Bom custo beneficio

Hotel já é um pouco antigo, porém bem localizado. O chuveiro e box do banheiro me deixaram insatisfeita pois é muito pequeno e a água vazava pelo banheiro todo ao tomar banho. Apesar disso, atendimento é ótimo e todos são muito prestativos e simpáticos.

Lovely hotel with breakfast by the beach

The hotel is near the beach, with nice breakfast outside under the trees, but incredibly noicy road in the night. Swimming pool is a good alternative in windy weather. Friendly staff who never let you feel lonely there. The manager is helping in much questions. Above all these is a great choice of any excursion you like.

Good place to stay

The huge beach is near (50m or so), a lot of restaurants. Hotel is right next to bus stop, make sure to ask help for which bus to jump in! (as the greeks don't have very clear system for public buses). But they work, we went to Palaiochora which our hotel staff recommended and it was gorgeous! Very friendly place, everything clean and a nice swimming pool in the backyard. A good place to relax and stay for a couple of nights to a week for us. Also, cats in the frontyard while eating breakfast was perfect. Thank you for the hospitality Alkion Hotel crew!

Hotel vecchio e senza cortesia

Sono stata ingannata dalle foto super colorate e dal prezzo che sembrava conveniente ho prenotato ma ho sbagliato rovinando la vacanza a Me ed Mio Compagno, in quanto la struttura è vecchia e lasciata andare dall'usura del tempo! le camere piccole con mura sottili si sentiva ogni cosa ... il proprietario non c'è mai... inoltre,non è disponibile alla cortesia ci ha un giorno invitato a smettere di lamentarci e di andarcene via perché a Lui non importavano le nostre richieste..mi ha fatto pagare la colazione quando poi ho scoperto chiamando expedia che era inclusa nel prezzo . la colazione era misera e solo prodotti scadenti e precongelati si lamentavano tutti...personale scortese e inefficiente!!..non capisco come expedia o booking riescano a vendere o pubblicizzare strutture senza prima controllare!

Good choice, near to Chania

Greek style hotel in Kato Stalos, near Chania town. Nice and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and big enough, off course with A/C. Cheap solution, good standards!

Det var et lækkert hotel med fin lille pool meget stille og rolig beliggenhed. God udvalg til morgenmad og hjælpsom personale.

Bardzo dobry pobyt dla niezbyt wymagających

Kameralny hotel urządzony w starogreckim stylu z mnóstwem zieleni dookoła. Codziennie zmieniana pościel i ręczniki. Gospodarz obiektu bardzo uczynny - doradza co robić w ciągu dnia, organizuje wycieczki /płatne dodatkowo/. Obsługa zna język angielski. Śniadania bardzo urozmaicone i smaczne. W promieniu 100 metrów liczne restauracje, tawerny, sklepiki spożywcze. W pobliżu przystanek autobusowy do Chani. Do plaży przez ulicę 50 metrów. Zamawiasz coś do picia i leżak oraz parasolkę masz za friko. Basen w hotelu może nie za duży ale na upartego można popływać. No i cykady hałasujące od świtu do zmierzchu ale też to ma swój urok.

Lille men rart hotel

Lille hotel,der ligger i et forholdsvist roligt område..Der er hvad man har brug for.Et lille værelse med balkon (helst østvendt),køleskab og kaffemaskine.Svømmepøl og en rar have.Personalet meget venligt og hjælpsomt.Morgenmaden okay så heller ikke mere.

Hyggelig lite hotell

Alkion er et koselig, lite, hyggelig familiedrevet hotell. Rommene er rene og det finnes både pool og treningsrom på hotellet. Betjeningen er utrolig hyggelig og gjør alt de kan for at gjestene skal trives. Det er ca. 100 meter til stranden, og restauranter minibank, og supermarked i nærheten. Vi vil også nevne restaurant Kimatogi. De har nydelig gresk mat. kelnerne er veldig hyggelige men samtidig ikke påtrengende.Vi kan på det sterkeste anbefale både hotell Alkion og restaurant Kimatogi.
