Great place to stay, safe area and walkable to main attractions, the staff is very friendly Sylvia is great.

Not often you meet such nice people as those that are running this hotel. Stayed 2 nights, the bed was the most comfortable I've experienced in Italy. Good size room. Breakfast is served in a lovely decorated dining area. Excellent! Strongly recommend booking here. Note - there are stairs (30), no elevator.

Loved our stay at Alfieri9

Loved our stay at Alfieri9. We wanted a place outside the main city center and this place was perfect to get away from the busyness yet still walkable to Santa Croce, the Duomo, shops, and restaurants. Great breakfast and our room was very clean. Stayed for 6 nights and really got acquainted with the neighborhood.

Great location! Hosts are lovely

The hosts are lovely and the place is adorable. Great location to be out of the hectic downtown area but walkable. The only thing I would say is thr bed. Very old and very hard. I had trouble sleeping.

The people that operate this hotel were wonderful. I was in room 1 and it is really big with super big bathroom for Italy. They put on great breakfast experience as well. The location is in central Florence and close to all the major attractions!

I loved my stay here. The hosts especially were helpful and gracious. I felt like a guest in a private home. The furnishings were elegant, and the hotel in a central location for walking and dining. The breakfasts were wonderful! As you can see, this was a lovely respite from the sometimes tiring explorations of the city and its environs.Highly recommend!!

The property was in a quiet street, but not too close to main attractions, which was ok with is. As expected, and informed to us, the hotel stays at the 1st floor, and no elevator. We received a complimentary breakfast which had a good selection of food. The staff was delightful, specially Lorenzo from the Liana Hotel (same owner) as he did his best to help us when there was an issue with the AC. Ricardo, the owner was also a pleasure and was able to quickly get the AC fixed.

Ricardo and his staff are gracious and kind. Hotel is so beautiful. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast was splendid! Will be back.

Very nice

The stay was very nice and the staff were lovely. Can not fault the hotel in any way. It was probably a little too far out for our liking but we knew where it was so it was just a bad decision on our part.

Property could use updating. There was no hot water not even warm. No elevator.

Great for family with small children

Hotel offers a nice breakfast and comfortable room with (US) queen-sized bed and 2 singles for our family of 4, kids aged 6 & 8. If they were older it may have been too cramped. Hotel is kept clean and has what you need. A bit basic but served the purpose of clean, safe and comfortable base camp from which to explore.

A refuge in The Fray of Florence

Very comfortable and accommodating. vWe had a morning tour and were able to grab a few things. A little out of the fray which suited us. I would defintely return.

Fabulous Firenze

So glad I found this place, totally understand why it got such good reviews! Location, cuteness, helpfulness. Safe and parking next door in the same building although not related to the hotel. The host was amazing and the breakfast and cappuccinos were wonderful. the bed was perfectly firm as I get a backache from soft beds. 10 minute walk and we were at the Duomo and neighbourhood felt very safe.

We traveled with our two grown children (20,18), we needed space but were also budget conscious. Alfieri9 was perfect! The room is spacious with high ceilings. All very nicely decorated, the dining room is so pretty (the breakfast is very nice) and cute lobby area. We also enjoyed the location, a little away from the busy center but still very walkable.

The staff are so nice and friendly. I slept passed breakfast and asked for some coffee. They made me a cappuccino and brought out a few breakfast items. On departure, they were quick to call a cab that's as there in 2 minutes. The room was very quiet despite being towards the front near the communal eating area and check-in. Def recommend.

The hotel is a little bit away from the touristy hustle, which was perfect for us. The room is spacious, and we liked that their shower was bigger than every other one we encountered on our 2-week tour of Italy! The staff is wonderful, helpful and very friendly. Fantastic breakfast - be sure to book with the breakfast option.

This is a boutique hotel located on a quiet street 15 min walk from the Academy Gallery. The owners/managers Ricardo and Francesca are super nice and friendly. Wonderful continental breakfast is served each morning 8 euro/person. There is a parking garage in the same building where can park for 26 euros per day. The only limitation is that the hotel doesn’t have a bar, so if you need a night cap, have to bring your own into room or go 10 mins or so nearby. Overall great 4 night stay.

Outstanding

We loved this hotel. It’s across the road from its sister hotel Liana so as a landmark it’s easy to find if your Italian isn’t great. It’s a little walk outside of Florence maybe 20 mins to find. The neighbourhood was safe as is the city. The hotel was very quiet. The rooms were so so clean, beds changed daily. Breakfast was excellent and very homely and the staff were amazing. Felt like home from home. Would highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Florence.

Great hotel located in a quite neighborhood away from touristy crowd but at the same time walking distance 15 mins from the main attractions. Hosts, Ricardo and Francesca, are amazing. They created home and family like environment. Francesca cooked us amazing home made breakfast, Ricardo provided us with all great tips to explore the country side. Definitely coming back here.

Very quiet area. Out of main areas of Florence but still walkable. Walk from train station with luggage was a little challenging. Ricardo was super nice at welcoming.

Kindness beyond

The best part of my stay was the beyond exceptional hospitality and courtesy extended to me and my son. It began with the warmest of greetings from Ricardo filled with helpful tips and instructions to reassure us. They day followed with gracious and most kind accomodations coordinated by Francesca. Event occurred that required I alter my trip and these two amazing people could not have been more supportive.

Comfy Stay in Florence

The location of the hotel is premium, room is clean nicely decorated and had a tiny balcony also the bed was quite comfortable. I’d say best for a short & light trip; I had a big luggage and it was a hurdle to carry to the first floor. I haven’t seen staff at all as i checked-in late and left very early which was unexpected. Otherwise they were very helpful over mails & calls.

Small local hotel with friendly owner

Nice little hotel with a short walk to the centre of Florence. Owner is the friendliest person you'll ever meet and always happy to help. The breakfast was good quality and very filling. Nice large rooms.

Excellent boutique hotel. Could not fault

Alfieri9 is a small hotel located in a quiet neighborhood located north east of the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), about a 17-20 minute walk away. Due to its small size, staff are onsite only part of the day but are accessible 24/7. Staff were helpful, friendly and informative. The hotel was thoughtfully renovated about 4 years ago, i.e., many shelves (to place belongings) in room, closets and bathroom, electrical outlets that are easily accessed, coat and towel hooks, good water pressure for shower and good WiFi. We stayed in room 1 which had two beds (approx 75"x78" and 33"x74"; width by length). The European style continental breakfast offered different types of coffee (espresso, cappuccino, regular), beverages (juice, milk), breads (croissants, rolls, sliced) & cereal, fruits, meats & cheese and yogurt. Room was equipped with small refrigerator, safe, iron & small ironing board, hair dryer and personal care products.

Loved it! Great location, clean, quiet, super cute! We would recommend providing ironing though.

Great experience

We had a wonderful experience. There is no elevator but we knew in advance so no problem. The hosts are very nice. Breakfast starts are 8 but we had to leave earlier for a tour and they prepared breakfast for us. Thank you

The property was exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance of all the major atttactions in Florence. The property manager spent time recommending restaurants and showing us the way around Florence on a map when we first arrived which was very helpful. We would stay again.

Stayed for a couple of nights. The hotel is very homey. The Room is very large and comfortable the shower room is huge and super. Basiclly a great modern place for a stay in firentze!

Small but perfect!

This 8 roomed B&B was perfect for us in everyway. GREAT value for money. A 10/12 minute walk from the Centre of Florence. Extremely clean, comfortable bed & pillows. Light but delicious breakfasts with a beautifully set table where you are seated with other guests (makes for interesting but unobtrusive chats).

Alfieri9 was in a nice quiet neighborhood, close to everything. The checkin was easy and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Our room was clean and comfortable with big doors that led to a tiny balcony. It was a perfect retreat to come back to after a long day of site seeing! There was breakfast served every morning although we didn’t take advantage of it, it looked wonderful!

Wonderful hotel super comfortable and convenient

We stayed 3 nights here on a short trip to Florence and it was a great base for exploring the city. Everyone was super helpful and welcoming and the breakfast made us feel right at home. Hotel is beautifully decorated and smelled great! Would recommend, the aircon was also very much appreciated in the middle of summer!

Magnificent hotel very well located

We stayed there 3 nights and had a lovely time. This little gem of a hotel is absolutely splendid. It’s quiet, clean and well maintained. The staff is welcoming and very caring. The breakfast was delicious. A baby crib was already installed in our room as we were travelling with our baby. The hotel is very well located as we could reach the heart of the historical center within a few minutes walk. The only small negative point is that there is no elevator. The hotel is located on the first floor, but the staff was kind enough to help us with our luggage. Climbing these few stairs was definitely worth it, as we enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely go back and we warmly recommend it. Our stay was impeccable from check-in to check-out.
