Very handy to Motorway and shopping .

Great location handy to the Westfield New Market. We were up for the Luke Combs concert was easy to get to Eden Park and the City. Ubers and Flamingo scooters ready available. Good living quarters would stay again.

It was a convenient location for the places I wanted to visit in Auckland, New Market, Remuera, Epsom. The Spa unit was very reasonably priced and the bonus of free parking was great.

Appreciated the amenities in the room even though our stay was short

The owner was absolutely amazing to deal with, she was very pleasant to deal with and even offered us a disability accessible room for my husband at short notice incase we wanted a wet floor shower. Will definitely stay here again when we're back up in the North Island.

The location of this hotel is perfect. It’s an easy 5-minute walk to restaurants, transit, museums, and a huge mall. It’s on a tree-lined street and is in a bustling yet quiet and safe area. The room was gigantic, well-appointed, and tidy with a lovely view and a large, comfortable bed. If you’re talking about value for the money, I would stay here again, but the room was in need of some updates. The grout between the bathroom floor tiles was permanently stained, the bathroom itself was dated looking, and the shower stall was old. That said, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, and the woman at the front desk was lovely and welcoming.

Excellent facilities for disabled person

Love the area the motel, only down fall I had with this stay is I booked a room with a spa bath but couldn’t use properly as one of the jets was blowing water all over the place. However I did inform staff and I was asked if I was ok in that room and I just said yes due to the fact we had a lot of things and couldn’t be bothered moving them all. One other down fall the bed in room 07 was horrible on one side as they are two singles pushed together, I have had a sore back for over a week now.

Perfectly Situated. Quiet and Restful

Quiety tucked away, yet close enough to walk into bustling Newmarket, we often stay here. Rooms are always clean, quite and comfortable. We leave our car at the motel when we check out and wander down to Newmarket for brunch. Close access to city and motorway to airport. Highly recommended.

room was clean and tidy, great facilities and ideal room for my son and myself.

I wanted somewhere near the southern cross surgery centre so I could walk to and from my operation, and have a good space to recover. It was only a short walk to the mall with lots of food options, so it made for a nice easy stay - exactly what I needed.

This was a nice small hotel, perfect for our intended purpose of winding down from 3 weeks in a motorhome, attending a sporting event at Eden Park, and preparing for the next leg of our journey from the USA to Australia. The room was clean, quiet, and nicely appointed, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Shopping, dining, and public transportation were within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

It was a really nice stay at Alexandra Inn for three nights. Great location and free parking. Friendly staffs and reception. Reasonable rate in Auckland compared with others. Will definitely book again.

A great accommodation in Newmarket

Always a great place to stay. Handy to the CBD and main routes north and south. Friendly and efficient staff. My go to when on business in Auckland as has all the amenities one requires.

The staff were lovely and the check in and out was quick and easy. The room was lovely, clean and tidy and had coffee and tea. Shower was so nice and the bathroom was very spacious. My only negative with this property was the location as it is on a busy road I could hear cars zooming past all hours of the night and people were screaming and yelling on the street which is not pleasant.

Not a place we would stay at again

When we first arrived, all went well, easy check in, lovely receptionist. The room was a bit dark and the view to the neighbouring building was not that private so we couldn't make use of the nice divan in front of the window to perhaps read or relax. We had a Romantic Spa Suite supposedly, but there was no spa - just a bath, and it was definitely not romantic in the bathroom! But.... we got on with it and cooked our dinner in the very tiny kitchen. The glass table was awful - so hard to not make a noise on it, and to have to be careful not to break it - unsure why some places have glass tables for guests - silly idea - keep it simple and wooden! It was a rainy and cold night so we decided to stay in after doing a bit of "work online". So much for that - the internet was not working, but by the time we found this out, the office was shut. Turned the TV on to see what was on - not much on normal tele, so tried Netflix (maybe, just maybe the internet was only a problem on our devices). No Netflix, no nothing - just boring TV and a rainy night in a dark room with no romantic atmosphere whatsoever. Next morning I complained - the very understanding receptionist refunded our next night's stay that I asked her to cancel - without question. It didn't completely make up for the crappy night, but better than nothing.

What I thought I booked for the money I paid wasn't the room, on arrival the rooms were cold and I was told it would take 20mins to warm the room wzs tidy and clean, and the staff were friendly.

The Stay was OK. The location was OK. The receptionist/owner treated us OK. Not easy to find and enter the property with a car. Good place for the price.

We stayed for one night and it was fine. Room was clean and tidy. The only thing was the room configuration was different to the pictures so that could have been made clearer in the listing perhaps but it was a nice place to stay and we would come again.
