Great hotel in an amazing location. Friendly Staff. The breakfast was exceptional.
Fantastic hotel
Stayed overnight before catching a flight home. Great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was big and had good amenities. Had recently been refurbished. Excellent buffet breakfast 😊 Would definitely stay there again.
Second time staying at this location. Reasonably priced, great location. Friendly staff.
We like the hotel's breakfast, it was just great. The water pressure was lacking and at times there was a pause in the hot water availabilty.
Great location and nice staff. Restaurant is excellent.
Restaurant manager Vinny was amazing and a great person to talk with and provided excellent restaurant and bar service
The customer service was outstanding !!! The food at the restaurant for dinner was amazing and the environment was so polished and welcoming !! In the center of everything you want to see and do m Rome !Very safe and secure ! Showers was amazing . Beds are a little low but comfortable !! We ll stay again when I return to Rome !!
Central
Elegant older hotel
This is the second time I've stayed here. A wonderful experience. Centrally located to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and metro.
BAD EXPERIENCE
THE HOTEL HAS NOT DRINKABLE WATER, YOU HAVE TO PAY 3 EURS FOR A SMALL BOTTLE!!!!, I MUST BE AGAINST LAW TO NO PROVIDE WATER!!! RESTAURANT WAS PRETTY BAD AND VERY EXPENSIVE OVERALL POOR EXPERIENCE
Stop Looking and Book!
Lovely little hotel close to the Spanish Streps, Trevi Fountain, and the Piazza Barberini metro station. Friendly staff, excellent hot breakfast included. Rooftop bar, great stay!
This hotel was very convenient for all the sites like trevi, coliseum and pantheon plus easy access to Barberini underground. The staff were great, breakfast had a large variety of hot and cold dishes, pastries, yogurts, fruits, cold meats, etc. the room was large and comfortable. The hotel is classic in appearance but adds to its charm. Shower was as hot as you liked and plenty of towels. Staff cleaning was outstanding. You are in the heart of the city which never sleeps so it you don’t use the airco but have the windows open you will hear the pleasant drone of life outside. We’d definitely choose to stay here again. Fab stay. Thank you Ottocento.
I like the location but don’t like the facilities-,room is small, no kettle, no free tea/coffee bags available
Hotel is locared within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Room was noisy at night from street noise and sound proofing between rooms is poor. Room was also not particularly clean. There seemed to be a lack of good restaurants within walking distance and male staff in particular were unhelpful fulfilling requests.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very nice boutique hotel with such a helpful and accommodating staff!! Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.
Hotel is within walking to most sites. Room size is basically standard for Rome. Not like American hotels. Restaurant on premises is good and not expensive.

Great bargain
Front desk service was amazing. Very quick and ver accommodating Great price for that area too
Perfect location little old but quaint
Stay was good all around
This is our 2nd tome staying here We love this hotel amd wonderful staff Breakfast was plentiful . Our room was a good size
The location is great, close to all of the great sites in Rome! Room was decent size air conditioner worked great, morning breakfast was same everyday, but it was very tasty! Coffee, eggs, bacon and pastries. The front desk staff were amazing! Would stay here again!
Property was close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.
Nice hotel
Excelente albergo y comodo Fácil de llegar y buena atención.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Clean and spacious room. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. Lots of dining options around the area. Near bus station. Will stay again
Rome
Great staff and location was close to town
Convenient location, restaurant very good.
Average as Average gets
Admittedly I generally stay at a higher star hotel. There was nothing particularly bad but also nothing that would cause me to rebook. Location ok. Street (including alarms and gunfire?) and hall noises made for sleepless nights. Breakfast just ok. Front desk minimal personality. More interested in computer work. Room tiny and sparse.
Early check in was permitted and slightly late check out as I had a very late flight out and I had 5 hours to wait before heading to the airport for a further 3 hours. It was a clean and neat room. Was not permitted a kettle in the room I found strange in a 4 star hotel. Restaurant staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. Older building so may explain the weak water pressure. Otherwise very happy with my two night stay.
Great location. Trusting staff. Great service
Very convenient location - 5 min walk to the Spanish Steps, similar to the Trevi Fountain. Cute little restaurants near by that are reasonably priced and good food We stayed 3 nights and were very comfortable; the room was a good set up and enough space with bathroom privacy. Breakfast was good. Nice variety and a water fountain for fresh spring water just outside the property BIGGEST PLUS: we left all our money out in the room by accident, left for the day, it was all there when we got back - thank you to Monica our housekeeper! The service overall from all staff amazing! You drop your key with front desk when you leave and collect when you come back which is cute The Hop on Hop Off bus stop was a min walk away and the pharmacy was the same
A lot of potential and friendly staff. Noise from street was disruptive
We really like this hotel
4 adults and a baby, two bedrooms.
Service, cleanliness, very good breakfast, perfect location to visit Rome, near the car park. Highly recommended for families.
This hotel was excellent. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I thought the location was great - it was close to the Trevi Fountain. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and stay here again if I’m in Rome.
like the location and breakfast
The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and the staff were helpful and courteous. Great location!! A
It’s OK. But not a 4 stars hotel.
Very nice property in a very central location of Rome. Nice breakfast, helpful staff (multilingual) and reasonable rates make this a serious consideration for anyone looking to be in the thick of a Roman holiday.
Very well located hotel with very friendly staff. However, the hotel could do with a refurbishment. Very hard and uncomfortable bed.
Very friendly stuff, especially Dimitrios at the frond desk, always smiling, ready to give an advise or suggestion, also Erik at the restaurant, great host, food is very delicious . Not our first time in Rome, this is one of the best places we stayed in
So convenient to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property and hope to be back soon.
Great staff; super clean and central to great sites and restaurants/stores.
Very friendly staff. Restaurant in hotel had great food. Hotel was close to many popular sites. Would recommend staying here
Nice
Nice but older feeling property. Clean. Front staff friendly. Rooms were pretty hot.
2 night break
Fantastic hotel in the centre of Rome located on a quiet street. We got a coach from airport to bus station in Rome centre then walked to our hotel (maybe 30 mins). All attractions in walking distance - fountain, colossium, St Peters etc. Hotel lovely with great breakfast choice. Restaurant on ground floor or roof top terrace.
It is good for a hotel in Rome, but it's not one of the best hotels in Italy.
Away from main tourist area , so less hectic.
Staff spoke English and was very helpful. Breakfast option was very good. Absolutely loved the location. Everything is in walkable distance.
Staff very friendly. Great location close to many tourist attractions. Great breakfast buffet. Very clean.
Very nice hotel to stay in Rome, thank you for all!
Albergo Ottocento Stay for 6D5N
Location was EXCELLENT, 2 mins away from Bernini Metro station and in the middle of town, easy to get to anywhere. 1) Staff were excellent 2) Room size was abit tight 3) Bed and pillows were average 4) Bathroom was average
Average stay, superb location in the city centre
The room was not as shown in the picture. The beds were okay. Average hotel. However, very nice and courteous reception staff and supberb location
Great stay! Will definitely stay here again when in Rome.
Staff were the highlight of this property! Extremely friendly waiters and the reception team were all incredibly helpful! The hotel is in a great location for Rome - most sightseeing places are 20-40 mins walk. Its a cute little hotel but do feel it could do with a little bit of a updating in decor.
Loved this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was very spacious as was bathroom. Breakfast staff quick clearing tables and getting you anything you needed. Hotel right beside Metro station and within walking distance of spanish steps, trevi fountain, and pantheon. Great eating places. We ate regularly at Pepys Bar which was just around the corner. They had great selection on menu, lovely staff and great prices. Would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely return.
Amazing hotel on perfect location, just few minutes from the very centre. Excelent personal, great breakfast, beautifull large and clean rooms.... Now we have a place to return....
Breakfast was pretty nice, and runs until 10:30AM daily. Rooms are unique, and reasonably spacious. Rooms were quiet, and you're able to block all light from the rooms with solid flat wooden shutters (like three layers of closures on the windows, helps with noise and light). House keeping does not annoy you. The TVs in the rooms are tiny. The key for the room is an old metal key, and you must leave it with the front desk whenever you leave, which is fine, but kind of annoying? They realized I was the only one staying in my room, so while I had two towels to start, they removed one set a day in... Kind of annoying, what if I needed another? Sure, I could ask for it, but, they could have just as easily left it in the room (like they did with an extra roll toilet paper). Daily house keeping was through, and nice. The beds are comfy, but firm (I like that). I would stay again, it's a good option. The area is very touristy, which is the main downside, but that can be said of much of Rome.
Clean room but very small and bad service
Good choice near metro
Very clean. Quiet after about 9-10pm. TINY elevator! Nice hot breakfast. Taxi arrives within 5min of front desk summoning them! Good location. Fabulous restaurant. Hard beds. Mini bar isn’t cold enough.
Close to metro station yet on a quiet street. Close to major attractions like Trevi and Spanish steps. Welcoming staff. Good restaurant on premises. Great breakfast.
Friendly and helpful staff. Near metro and bus stops.
Great place to stay
Great location. Walking distance to the top of the Spanish steps. Twin beds. Comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good.
Great hotel. Clean, large and quiet hotel room and friendly staff. Excellent location for all sights in Rome and good dining. Loved it!
Small boutique hotel. Very helpful friendly staff, excellent English language skills. Fresh pastries, coffees and scrambled eggs Bacon, hams, salami, selection of juices included. Room was small, beds comfortable, clean hotel. Tiny elevator barley two people, stairs down to room annoying. Otherwise a nice centralized hotel to down town Rome, restaurants and attractions.
Excellent place to stay. Amazing breakfast with fresh scrambled eggs , bacon and Croissants. There is an amazing reataurant Osteria Barberini just on the side of the hotel. The hotel restaurant is also good. Highly recommend. We loved our time there and in Rome overall. Secret tip: You could ask for cappucino in the morning with breakfast staff.
It was quaint lovely furnishings. Ambience. Small not some huge bland hotel.
The cost, of their own taxi service, was excessive.
Great location.
Stayed for 3 nights. Location was really good and we were able to walk to all the attractions. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Loved their rooftop restaurant.
Very nice location, near shopping and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. We would stay here again, no doubt.
The staff were very helpful and professional. They called cabs, helped us with navigation of the prominent sites around the hotel, which were plentiful! The room was lovely and very comfortable!
Nice stay
Very nice hotel, good food and good location. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant downstairs. The staff is friendly, professional and helpful. There is a metro station really close to the hotel. Many landmarks are really close.
Very clean and friendly staff.
It was a very comfortable hotel. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.
Beds and pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
I love the staff of this hotel. They go above and beyond. This morning they packed me breakfast because I left before breakfast time. Pictures are accurate. Like other reviews the just old smell is there when you enter but you get used to. ac works great. Maybe not too much of a window light. There are no elevators but Staff helped carry luggage. My room was freshly painted and spotless. Room 501. Location is amazing and v central. I walked from there to the Vatican and got back and being central meant I could take breaks during the day and go back to my hotel, which you would not be able to do in other locations.
Great location.
Quick stay
Hotel was nice. Great location. Walkable to all attractions. The only negative would be there was only AC in your room only, not in the rest of the hotel, hallways or elevator. The AC in your room was great but it was very hot in the rest of the hotel. Staff were very kind.
Great location - close to station and attractions Spanish Steps/Trevi Fountain. Room was quiet and air conditioning was very effective… a godsend in the extreme temperature Friendly staff , and a good choice for breakfast
The hotel is in a very walkable location. The staff is great. the breakfast is very good but did not change for 3 days.
The location was terrific. Accessible to the Spanish Steps, yet very quiet. The front desk staff was very professional and hospitable. The breakfast service was lovely.
Great location
Good hotel
Helpful staff ,room was clean very nice area ,food was ok!
The room was VERY small but the location was perfect and the AC was amazing (they really blast it which is glorious to come home to).
A lovely boutique hotel with charm. Breakfast included. Service excellent. Has 2 restaurants and very clean. Beds alittle hard, but can't beat the location and convenience.
The hotel room was very nice and accurate to the pictures seen online. The only downside was they have no irons in the room and you have to pay per clothing item from a third party.
5/5 would go back. Great location. Double shutters made it surprisingly quiet. Great buffet for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and MODERN (no weirdness with wiring or plumbing). Although nothing is cheap this summer, this place was a great value for the price compared to other hotels on this trip.
Bellissimo
This hotel far exceeded all of your expectations. It was in a great location, had a rooftop restaurant as well as one on the first floor. The service at the front desk was exceptional. They were very helpful with suggestions and directions. If we’re ever in Rome again, we would definitely stay there.
Hotel was old and needs updating. We had several rooms and in one room my daughter found a bug in her bed. We had reserved one room for 3 people but it was a queen bed and did not have a pull out bed, when we checked in and asked they said well all the staff are gone for the day so we can’t bring up the bed. Then why did we get charged for the extra person charge for the room? !!!!!! There are many other hotels in the area, I recommend you stay elsewhere.
The staff was wonderful, everyone spoke English and they were all very helpful. Our room was beautiful but small; of course I knew this ahead of time, but booked it anyway because of the great reviews I read. There was an incredible, fresh breakfast every morning from 7-1030a which kept us full til late afternoon. The hotel was in a good location, Trevi Fountain was about a 10 minute walk in one direction and the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti about 10 minutes in another. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good but a bit expensive; of course there a ton of dining options in Rome! When we visit Rome again we will definitely stay here.
We had a great stay at this hotel. I highly recommend staying here for the excellent location. I would like to thank Patricia for her excellent customer service and allowing us to check in 3 hours early.
I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, right next to the metro and also had plenty of cafes and bars nearby. My only small complaint is that I could hear the people in the room next to me, the walls seemed paper thin. I would stay here again.
The property is in a great location. Just a quick 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps and metro. The staff was polite and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was the traditional Italian breakfast, some sweet Pastries and cappuccino. They did offer eggs and some kind of bacon as well. Although the rooms are on the small side, they were very charming. I only wish they offered a refrigerator in room for all the tasty leftovers we brought back with us from our dinners. Overall I would recommend a stay to my friends.
This is a good option for a solo traveller. The room was small but functional. Cleanliness was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The roof top restaurant was an excellent dining option. I like to walk around a city so the hotel was perfect. 25 minutes to the Colosseum 10 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 15 miutes to the Spanish steps and a good 40 minute walk to the Vatican. All in all an excellent choice.
Loved the old school hotel vibe. Loved the shuttered windows we kept wide open. Honey colored floors, woodwork , and furniture were gorgeous and super super clean. Loved the large shower with great water pressure .
