A lovely Abu Dhabi City Stay

Great facilities, perfect location within the city with plenty of amenities within a walkable distance.

Not bad

Good hotel, service was good but starting to look dated. Breakfast can get very busy. One of the lights in our room did not turn off so the room card had to be removed at night. One day the cleaners did not clean our room.

We got upgraded to a suite which was about 700 square feet with city views which made us want to stay longer than the just one night stopover we did. Staff was very courteous and always ready to help. The property is in a bustling downtown location with lots of shopping and dining options. We tried Al Farah restaurant, traditional Syrian cuisine recommendedbyone of the hotel'sporters, that was a delight.

Great experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room were very nice and great location in between the main attractions of the city.

Rooms smell like wet dirty socks, sometimes like urine. Valet drivers left the windows to my car open overnight, the area is like a slum, it does not feel like a safe place to leave your car windows open at all. Staff did nothing about my complaints.

Mix up with rooms on arrival but resolved very quickly. Impressed with cleanliness and very good value for money. 1 bedroom apartment very spacious and to a very high standard. Rooftop pool and gym are amazing, are much better in person than pictures on site. Overall, extremely happy with property and would recommend. Suggest hiring a car to get around as free parking also available.

I was attending a conference at the St Regis and Hyatt Hotel, so I had a direct comparison and I would say that for the price point I made an excellent choice to stay with the Al Maha Arjaan By Rotana. Congratulations to the Al Maha Arjaan By Rotana team for offering such a comfortable and professional hotel for business travellers.

Closed pool for construction

It is a great hotel with excellent service! The rooms are big and clean and get cleaned every day. My two biggest downs were that the swimming pool was closed for construction and nobody told me anything in advance. This was particularly sad as i booked this hotel specially for the pool.

I enjoyed my stay at the Al Maha Arjaan, It is so clean, convenient, and walkable and the staffs are amazing 1000/10. I had an issue and the manager Thei along with the security manager went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and my stay was comfortable. I cannot thank them enough. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I visit Abu Dhabi.

I checked in here due to a horrible experience at another hotel. I arrived at noon, not expecting my room to be ready however the lady at the front desk fast tracked this. She took me to the coffee shop connected and I only waited about 10 mins. An amazing fruit platter was delivered to my room as well. Staff were friendly without being too in your face. Pool space was beautiful. WTC shops and food court about a 15 minute walk. But there are loads of places to eat nearby. Biggest issue may be peak hour traffic and trying to get a taxi. Really happy with my stay here, highly recommend.

Nice hotel with decent rooms and comfortable beds. The room had TV screen, cabinets and bathroom which were in a good condition. The level of cleanliness is good at the rooms but in the gym is not. The breakfast was good.

The staff members are great! Everyone I interacted with is friendly and helpful.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel between the Corniche and World Trade Center. Some tips: look for hair dryer tethered inside drawer below tv in bedroom not in bathroom. You need to tip thee rockers down for outlets to get electricity. Staff at desk very helpful. But...there are a few Rotanas in Abu Dhabi and even if you show taxi room key with name of hotel and show taxi hotel on map taxi will take you to wrong Rotana. Two in town similarly named.

Prime location + service was exceptional. Travelled aeound the world but the service here was amazing. The staff were really humble ans friendly.

Great hotel

Very comfy, spacious room. When we returned to the hotel late at night on check out to get our luggage before heading to the airport, we were given a chance to shower and freshen up, which was much appreciated. Bus 94 stops only a few hundred meters from the hotel, and heads to the louvre Abu Dhabi in one direction and the great mosque in the other. Only one letdown: the staff were utterly unable to provide clear info about bus routes, stops and where to buy tickets.

Great breakfast, good service, spacious room. Down side: awkward cleaning hours, hard to guess which light switch is for which light, room not bright enough.

The staff were so very helpful. I was provided with very early check-in after arriving on an early morning flight. The pool is fantastic and the breakfast buffet superb.

Lovely hotel - nice pool area

Very friendly and helpful staff . Stayed whilst in transit after a cruise so we did r sleep there , just took a room for the day . Well worth it as roof top pool is a nice place to relax . Had a full body massage too which was excellent

Central location. Walkable, welcoming, near shops, cafes, restaurants, mosque, corniche, and a nice public park. Staff are friendly and caring. Rooms are large with huge windows and nice city views. Excellent in house cafe restaurant with a wide selection of dishes and drinks.

Good hotel and service. Although there was a cafe a shame there was not a bar on site for a drink in the evening. Everything else good.

The location of the hotel is great with shopping and transport close by. Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Changes were made to the cooked portion of the breakfast buffet each day which was welcomed. Concierge “Achal” was particularly helpful, polite and professional. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent location in downtown Abu Dhabi. Café 302 is very good for breakfast.

Just checked out yesterday,after a stay of 10 nights,would definitely stay again,it’s worth upgrading from a normal twin room to a deluxe twin room,the deluxe is massive & has a living room & kitchen also very handy they will put an extra single bed in the deluxe for £20 a night. Good location a short taxi ride from the Louvre museum & Marina Mall,walking distance to Cornice. Plenty of shops,Restaurants & Shesha near by.

great hotel centrally located

the room was terrific and the staff was even better

Only problem was a leaking bidet which flooded the bathroom. It took time and phone calls to get this sorted. Otherwise, just lovely ...as usual.

This hotel is beautiful. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. It is also close to a lot of places in Downtown Abu Dhabi. The Cafe was also a great place to eat; the breakfast and atmosphere was amazing.

Perfect two days stop in Abu Dhabi. The hotel is in a perfect location for moving around the city. I really appreciate the breakfast and dinner at the Cafè part of the Rotana.

Check in was fast even though I was early. The hotel was very accommodating. The cafe on the ground floor has delicious food and is convenient. The room is a decent size and very clean and well kept. I will definitely return to Al Maha Arjaan when I visit Abu Dhabi.

Great service and large suite

The hotel staff were amazing, especially Tigiri and Zoe at reception. They really took care of my needs during my stay. The room was huge and had every comfort I could possibly need. Great hotel, definitely recommend.

The hotel's location is in downtown Abu Dhabi. There are many stores and restaurants that are walking distance.

It was good stay

Reception was terrible.

I booked the hotel through expedia, which shows that breakfast is included. When I checked in the hotel, the reception told me that breakfast is not included in my reservation. I sent my Itinerary, and she agreed with that my reservation includes breakfast. However, in the next morning, she still told me that my reservation does not include breakfast, but hotel gave me it because the document provided by expedia is unclear. I am very unhappy with her behavior because I am not responsible on this issue. The hotel should talk to the expdia, and if they do not like it, just do not accept the reservation through expedia. I will never use this hotel because I was treated as cheating the hotel. I will not recommend this hotel. You will dislike it. Also the hotel gave me the smoking room even though I made reservation on non-smoking room.

Fantastic hotel in the center with great staff.

I liked this hotel at the first sight. Is nice outside and inside...clean and shiny. I arrived 20 of May. Check in was very quick and hotel made my small request. I loved the room and recreation floor with swimming pool. Room was spacious with comfortable big king size bed, nice soft carpet, big TV with loads of channels, bathroom with shower and bidet, fridge, complementary tea, coffee, water. Swimming pool is located on the roof...always clean with warm water. There is also jacuzzi, steam room, gym and SPA. What I also like is the curtain in the room which they really make the room dark and you can sleep well. Hotel was quiet, nice corridors and elevators with soft music in the background. I would also like to mentioned about the hotel staff which is very professional . Thank you very much to Harold concierge, reception team and Anowar from recreation -it was always nice chat with him.

The AL MAHA ARJAAN by ROTANA IS In a great location on Handam Street ABU DHABI. It has Exellant staff and good fascilities and a great '' street '' level Restaraunt '' serving great food. The Pool at the top of the hotel gives a great relaxing location away from the street traffic and the GYM fascilities and supervisors are a good help for you daily Excercise. Lift Operations are good and fast from Hall location to your room. House keeping staff are only too willing to be of help and your room Is left In great '' shape '' once you have left It for your days Activities whatever they may be. I WILL be recommending this Hotel To any of my friends who want to see ABU DHABI for the first time as a great place to stay.

I have visited Al Maha Arjan from 2 years ago and it was a good hotel, but in my last visit they had renovation it's absolutely amazing! comfort rooms, cleanness, great stuff! I highly recommends this hotel!

I got the book from the internet I got the date wrong I couldn't change I couldn't get back dated fee .18 17. One day I couldn't stay in my room I want you to give me the room I paid for. I couldn't read English I'd appreciate it if you help me because I don't know

Fantastic hotel..beaches and pools at sister hotel

Excellent helpful staff all round. Spotless brilliant food and really spacious comfortable rooms.temporary work on top floor closed pool but able to get free use of nearby sister hotels.

They charged me 70 UAE per night for the WIFI

40th birthday trip

Hotel great,is a dry hotel...only a few doors down from crowne plaza which has four licensed restaurants ,great location ...great roof top pool! Friendly helpful staff...only bug bear was you Had to pay extra for wifi...I think it should be included in the price!

Very well appointed hotel in central downtown.

Very well appointed hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Leisure suite and pool on top floor was well managed and the staff took good care of me after a minor accident. Location in commercial area of town maybe a slight downside as places geared to tourists (i.e. quality shopping malls) were outwith walking distance.

Need to Add facilities

We are upset while we noticed that Mini bar, Sofa and chairs missing. Free Wifi can be offered since free Wi Fi available most of the hotels in UAE.

Nice hotel

Nice hotel. Stayed during F1 weekend. Not too far from Yas Island. Hotel should consider complimentary Wi-Fi for guests.
