Great staff. Clean and comfortable

10/10 for the price range

Great location, close to the airport. The room looked newly renovated and very clean. The service was great, always quick to help.

Friendly helpful staff, efficient free airport shuttle, good fish and chips 10 minutes walk away. Not flash but clean and more than adequate.

Got a up grade on arrival Had to fly the next day lunch time Stayed hour after check out I wasn't charged Pleasent stay

Close to the airport, nice pool. But music from a nearby community hall was blasting late into the night before our early morning flight.

We did not feel safe, too scare to leave our stuff in our room. Very limited stuff. Had difficulty with language barrier. Choose place for the location and free shuttle service but ended up doing airport drop off myself as they would only take them 2.5 hours earlier than wanted. It was cheap but didn’t appreciate being woken all night by loud music and bottle skip being emptied at 4.30am

The motel is basic but very clean and I could not have been more impressed with the lovely young man who collected me from the airport and took my bags to the van. Charming , cheerful and efficient

Not the greatest.cleanliness in bathroom between shower nd sink with 2” gap lots of mold old toothbrush’s. Towel had what looked like dried snot. Totally lack of soap in kitchen and especially shower our sheet had stains.

needs up-dating

staff were good , motel needs up-dating .. bathroom shower needs up-dating. bed was comfy and sheets were clean .. swimming pool needs a lick of paint .would not rate this motel 3 star .. but you get what you pay for ...

we thought this place was great value for money. very clean and looking brandnew.

Das Zimmer war gross und sehr sauber. Die ganze Einrichtung war neu. Die Nacht war nicht sehr ruhig. Um 2 Uhr morgens konnte man noch Fernseher hören. Wir sind diesbezüglich sehr empfindlich. Eine kleine Flasche Wasser im Kühlschrank wäre perfekt gewesen, der Getränkeautomat hatte nur Süssgetränke. Der Shuttletransport vom und zum Airport hat gut geklappt, auch um 5 Uhr morgens.

Clean, friendly and helpful staff

It was what we expected. Nothing more or less. Even though it's dated, it was clean. Extra blankets would have been good. They are working on upgrading, good to see.

It was good for sleeping the night but the room stank like a wet dog. I think animals had been there at some point because we had to spray that room thoroughly, just to get to sleep.

Reception was helpful and friendly. Price was reasonable. Good service by housekeepers always giving good service when asked for something eg towels shampoo etc. Did have a few things missing cutlery plates blankets which i asked housekeeping and gave.

The room are smell like toilets; Construction was right next door and hazardous surrounding; - lack in communication, Overall , I wont recommend to my worse enemies

Owner was more then welcoming couldn’t have asked for a happier person to greet you and make sure if we needed anything to let him no. Nice brand new room clean and tidy. Would recommend to stay here again

It was an inexpensive place to stay before flying out. Airport shuttle was convenient.

Simple improvements would make the stay better. Bathroom is very tight at the sink. Just looking tired. No coffee. Matches the cost of the room. Airport transfers excellent.

staff very friendly and helpful, was a bit noisy, but we were told about that, and it was only for a night before we flew out to sydney. didn't realise we got free shuttle service, wicked, driver was very very helpful is advising us what time we needed to be at the airport the next morning. rate was very cheap for convenience.

The bathroom is old and the shower is not a walk in shower but an old bathtub shower that is dangerous and can't work for older persons or disabled. The toilet also does not flush well. The place does have ample space in bedroom and living room but really needs to have the bathrooms remodeled. Also very expensive for this type of quality, Location is good for being close to airport but needs a bit on an upgrade.

Noisy location. Room and swimming pool need a total upgrade.

The staff was very nice and helpful but the room was very run down and the toilet dirty. It’s over all run down and overpriced but close to the airport.

I did not stay at the property because expedia indicated there were rooms but the hotel cancelled my booking due to no rooms, very disapointed with expedia. Not the customer care i have expected from expedia in the past, a refund is necessary

Fantastic Host he gave us a ride to the airport. But we didnt know we could of got a ride to the motel if we had rung.

Was booked in due to storm in Auckland and cancelled flights. Was clean, bed was comfy. Nothing flash but adequate for a night. Appeared to be used for social housing more then a motel.

Contact hotel directly if you want shuttle to pick you up 24Hr service otherwise taxi charges $70

Friendly staff. Promp service on dropping us off at the airport. No air conditioning but it does have a fan. Comfortable bed. Less than 30 minutes from CBD. About 5 minutes from airport.

The free airport shuttle was perfect.

Bed & linen was comfortable. Friendly front desk reception. However I won’t be be back - due to permanent tenants who frightened me outside my unit at 1am with his ph blasting rap music. So much for a good nights sleep before an international flight. Wouldn’t recommend.

Double bed studio room with ensuite was a generous, airy, clean and bright. Full kitchen was fully equipped,. This budget priced accommodation included an airport shuttle service.

We picked somewhere with a pool for the kids but it was unavailable

Spacious rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite a bit of road noise and the room next door had the tv going all night, which we could clearly hear. f you like firm beds then great but for us, bed was a bit uncomfortable. The place is a bit tired overall but for a stay overnight it was fine.

Office staff were very officious. Only provided airport transfer at requested time after my insistence.

I arrived late and was met by lovely Manager at Airport who drove me to Hotel . He provided the best customer service and care as I was traveling by my self . The rooms were very clean and the hotel was well priced. It’s old style buildings but very well priced and so close to airports.

I have used the property before and knew what it was like. It serves the purpose of what i want. Thank You

The Airport Gold Star motel was an excellent place to start our overseas trip. Liam was extremely helpful and obliging from check in through until picking us up at the airport at the end of our trip. While the motel is oldish the family room we had for four adults was clean and comfortable. The extended car parking was secure and very cheap compared to all other options. A big shout out to Liam who was professional, helpful, and committed to providing great customer service. Thank you

Only stayed one night but for price had verything we need except my partner couldn't find a hair dryer other than that was good for what we wanted . Stuff was most helpful and perlite.

Great Airport shuttle service

Not so good, stains in the bathroom and one faucet loose

Very run down. Terrible hard spring beds. Cheap linen and covers. Wi-Fi almost works- very slow. Area around motel is scary. I wouldn’t be walking around at night.

The free parking while overseas and shuttle to airport

Pool access right in front of the unit was great and the kids were able to interact with others staying at the motel. The unit was clean and comfortable however there were a few maintenance issues that needed attention. These were mainly cosmetic but not expensive to fix. Overall we were happy with our brief stay before our early morning flight.

The Manager was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him to do for us

Transfer to airport was great, friendly staff. Easy to acces room and appropriate parking for vehicals.

We had a one night stopover between flights and found the motel clean and comfortable. Was fine for our family group of 5 for the night in a 2 bedroom unit. Handy shuttle service pickup and drop-off even early in the morning with friendly staff. Supermarket and takeaways were a 20min walk and a dairy 2min. Would be good to have a curtain up at the glass door to stop headlights from parking coming in when you are sleeping. Varying reviews here, so perhaps luck of the draw.

Good for a quick stop over.

Very accommodating as the first room had an issue so he put us in another room. There was used soap in the shower from the last guests, that wasn't great but overall it wasn't bad for a quick stopover. Was helpful in being our taxi to take us to pick up our campervan early in the morning. The heating in the room was good too.

A little old. The bathroom is a bit run down. Needed more crockery for 7 people

A Little Disappointed

If you arrive early before check-in time and you want to go to your room, even though the room is clean and ready for occupation you have to pay an extra $10 over and above the normal charge. If you don't there is no where to go and the motel foyer is too small to sit and wait. It would have been nice to be told when booking was made.

Shown as full kitchen but could not use oven!! Lots of instructions re doing dishes but no plug for sink. Also with a full kitchen a few complimentary condiments would be nice i.e salt, pepper and oil all of which we had to purchase from local dairy. It also would have been nice to get some facecloths.

a bit worn out, kitchen area grotty, bathroom had mould. But staff nice, shuttle bus service excellent.

The staff were great and we took advantage of the airport shuttle service after our late night flight but the room was very dated and needed some work.

Gets the job done for a stop between flights with airport shuttle included. Just the basics. No coffee or coffee maker and no hair dryer but clean enough and friendly staff. Didn’t have time to check out the area but was quite and allowed a good nights rest.

This property is old, the free shuttle was great and the fact that I didn't not arrive in Auckland until 11.30pm was a bonus, staff friendly. Room a mismatch of old furniture, and taps over the bathroom sink reversed cold left and hot right

Wasnt helpful to cancel when hasnt recieved info on booking and to book another room.
