Good & Bad location

Great location by the beach, near restaurants and the airport. Our only issue was with the loud bar next door with karaoke and the adjacent street full of people partying by their cars and aggressively trying to sell us weed. Hookers down the street too. I’m glad I was there with my husband and would have felt less comfortable as a female traveling there alone.

We came to Jamaica one day earlier than planned due to snow in the forecast. The Airport Beach Hotel was the perfect place to spend that first night, which allowed us to get to our resort very early the next day. The room was SUPER clean and comfortable. The restaurant next door, Wings and Tings, has WONDEFUL food and drinks! We would definitely stay at the Airport Beach Hotel again.

Although we liked the proximity to the beach, it was a public beach. At night a group of people showed in their cars (around 8p) and decided to blare loud music till well after 3am in the morning. After notifying the staff (and I mean 1 security guard) nothing was done. Let's just say we had a horrible sleep that night. The pictures are accurate and place is clean but we won't be returning to this hotel in the future.

Cute and adequate hotel. Clean rooms and charming. Staff very nice. Stayed one night before heading to our resort!! It had all that we needed for our quick stay. Would stay again for sure. Watched planes come into airport while sunset.

Great place to stay. It’s conveniently close to the airport and right by the beach. You can walk to the hip strip from there. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great food onsite.

good place to stay when arriving late to MoBay. Close to airport. Restaurant next door was convenient an had good food and music.

I love this spot the beach is across the street and i love watching planes land and take off also the staff are so friendly.

The loud music continues until midnight, making it hard to get a good night’s rest. There is no daily room service—you have to repeatedly ask for basic necessities like coffee and towels. The housekeeping staff was unprofessional; one even complained about cleaning our room after three days, saying it was too dirty. Outside the hotel, we were constantly approached by people asking for money or pressuring us to buy things, which became very frustrating. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for more than two days.

The staff were friendly and made me feel at home. Having a luxury car and driver available for trips (not part of hotel) made all the difference for me as i was traveling by myself.

Beautiful place and the small breakfast spot out side the hotel was amazing!! Rasta man know how to cook!!

Rooms are a bit dated, bathroom is extremely small, television doesn’t have anything to watch unless you sign into your own apps and most of the streaming apps won’t work out of the country. Staff is extremely nice and very hospitable. Nice restaurant right next door, good food and good vibes. Directly in front of the ocean, less than 30 seconds and you’re at the beach. You can sit upstairs and watch the planes come in and out since it’s next to the tar mat.

Great stay over Hotel for overnight stay near the runway. Staff very friendly, small room with very comfortable bed. Small restaurant on premises had excellent breakfast. Only drawback was bar next door played very loud music until midnight..

Great hotel property near beach.

The entire staff was amazing. The hotel was super clean. The strip that its on was not that great. It was cars parcked alongside playing loud music, hanging out and smoking weed all day and all night. We was woken up at 4.30am by super loud music. So we got maybe 2h of sleep.

Holiday weekend, noise, lots of hustlers on the street. Area restaurant was very good!

Overall stay was good. Looking for a place on a budget this is the place to be.

The property was nice and clean and it was next to Wingz and Tingz which is open from 8 AM to 1 AM which is perfect for grabbing food. The staff was nice. The front desk was never staffed, which was weird to me. Also if you’re trying to get sleep, they play music until 1/2 AM. The price was reasonable, and I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice property super close to the airport. Its not quiet as its almost on the airport runway but no complaints as i really enjoyed watching the planes land and take off from my room window. Marlene at the front desk and all staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Highly recommended

you can hear the airplanes in the day time, but overall, the place is clean and homey! I love that it has it's own little public beach across the street. The street is safe and friendly. The cook shop serves yummy food. I don't want to tell everyone about it, but if i keep it a secret, it's not fair, because those nice people deserve plenty bussines!!!! Anyway, itis a friendly nice clean place.

The room was clean. Proper amenities were provided (water, coffee, mini toiletries, television, restaurant in walking distance). I enjoyed my stay!

The room was clean, the bed comfortable but the crack under the door made me very uncomfortable. I couldn't connect to Internet on my phone and had no TV service. It's a very noisy area with vendors and crowds until early morning. That being said the street was clean the next morning. You'd never know there was an all night party the night before. Being steps away from the beach made it okay but I would have liked dining options.

The place is really clean it does the job for a one night stay very noisy at night. Got stuck after missing my flight price is good for a one night stay location not the best but not too bad.

The friendliness of the staff. The two way communication. The locked gate. Access to the back yard to get fruits as approved by staff. It was a little haven for our 2 year old grand son.

The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. They made the stay very confrontable and enjoyable.

We stayed at this hotel during the hurricane. The owner was accommodating and waived the breakfast the day after the storm. The chef cooking the breakfast was amazing and the staff were lovely. One recommendation is to have a generator as the island is susceptible to storms. The candle provided was inadequate when there was no power. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and is conveniently located next to the airport.

Great convenient stay to airport

First let me say that I was born on the island and I'm quite familiar with the various hotels. I chose to stay here conveniently for the price, availability and the need for only one night. It's location is at the end of the runway for MBJ airport, not a deal breaker since there are no flights after 11:00 p.m. that I could hear. That being said, Wi-Fi, TV, well provided amenities in the room and most important that your morning swim is 2 minutes away. The little restaurant on property provided me with a good Jamaican breakfast for a fantastic $7usd. If Toby's and Sea Garden are full this is a great choice, especially if you have an early morning flight. Needless to say, staff was very friendly.

This is the best placed ive stayed in Mobay and the hospitality was phenomenal...the staff and owner was top notch..they help me retrieve my wallet i left in a taxi...

Lovely, convenient friendly service. Close to Hip Strip, Doctor’s Cove, Margaritaville, and Tracks & Records. Perfect for short stays needing to be close to the airport. Wonderful traditional Jamaican breakfast.

The owner made check in extremely easy. The property is on the hip strip and conveniently located next to a wingz n tingz and there is also a restaurant on site. The beach is right across the street.

Walking distance to the airport. The Jamaicans have all their bar setups on top of the seawall. Have a seat on top of the wall and throwback a few beers. Restaurant right next door with good reasonably priced food. Good last stop in Mobay for one more night of party before getting on the airplane. Also just a few minutes walk back to the bistro.

The location is not appropriate for a late arrival, specially if the taxi driver doesn’t confirm the address, this hotel has the basic service, no water bottle, lots of noise, not a place to rest, I wouldn’t recommend the hotel for more than one night. Sorry not what I was expecting.

Airport Beach Hotel is a wonderful place to stay whether it's 2 days or 2 weeks. It is conveniently located to the hip strip and directly across from Buccaneer Beach aka Dead End Beach. I was able to check in a little sooner than expected which was nice. Very nice staff and very safe environment. The room was comfortable and very clean as well. I was happy and surprised that the room included a mini refrigerator, electric kettle and iron which nowadays you are required to pay extra for in most places. I look forward to staying again.

Very attentive to make sure my needs were taken care of.

Mine was just a sleepover to get an early flight, inside is pretty decent and clean. The landscaping is crappy and pretty much a turn-off. If it rains you’re screwed because it’s all dirt. Buccaneer hotel is right next door with a nice late night bar. Right on the hip strip off Montego Bay with Sandals down the street. I would recommend it for a late night sleep over or a one night stand but that’s pretty much it.

I recently stayed at the hotel for the sole purpose of being close to the airport for an early flight, and it served its purpose perfectly. Despite only needing a place to sleep, I found the hotel to be comfortable and safe. The room was clean, which was my top priority, and I was able to rest without any disturbances. Although there were some cosmetic damages such as peeling paint, it didn't affect my overall experience since I was primarily focused on getting a good night's sleep before my flight. It is near club/bar where you can hear the music but did not bother me. Overall, the hotel provided exactly what I needed for a short stay near the airport. If you're looking for a convenient and hassle-free option for an early morning flight, I would recommend considering this hotel.

It’s a nice hotel it’s right by the airport 5 mins. They have a restaurant next to it. What I didn’t like was they don’t have Ada . Nothing to hold on to in the bathroom. Toilet was very small like for a kid. So you have a wheelchair or cane. It won’t work for you. But the people are very nice.
