Convenient location for theatre goers.

Good location for the Civic Theatre. Parking outside for drop off and checkin on the day was problem free at the time but could be an issue as others have indicated, particularly on days when special events are on. The duty manager on check in was not super friendly - the one on check out was on the other hand the opposite as were all other staff that day. Our room wasn't ready until almost 3 pm even though check in is from 2pm onward. Parking does seem expensive but the other options aren't great. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. We would stay here again if we got a good price by booking in advance.

Helpful and friendly staff

Very spacious and clean. Close enough to various restaurants and sites to be walkable.

All of the above, but the price of the food was way too much in the restaurant area.

Staying at same hotel with friends

Understanding that security is a high priority, but we had trouble visiting friends who we were staying in the same hotel and on a different floor. The elevator wouldn't allow us to visit other floors.

Holiday

All good until we got to our room. Bathroom was tiny and hardly able to dry yourself. Room small and had to watch you didn’t hit tv when walking past. Good bed.

Underwhelmed

We were given a room that was not very well appointed. Our mini bar had nothing in it. When we inquired as to why ours wasn't stocked, but many of our friends were, we were told thst people on our floor had a tendency to steal the items, so they didn't put them in. Our room had no view, but for a gray wall and pit below it. Frosted glass windows, so we couldn't even see out. The bathroom was so narrow, 2 people could've pass through. We had friends who payed less than we did, but got betrer rooms, with amenities and views. When we asked to change our room we were told that they were full!

The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs during our stay. The only difficulty we experienced was at the restaurant inside the hotel as the service was quite slow. More than once they were very delayed in serving our food.

Noisy hotel

Very noisy on first night with other customers

Room 501 was noisy as it was adjacent to lifts. Floor are close to fridge was dirty and sticky. Tea cups where dirty.

clean and comfortable, staff communication could be better, wasn't told about potential construction noise at check in had to read about it once in our room, luckily we weren't impacted at all. Breakfast first morning was a fiasco as no eggs and no bacon! were able to choose alternative and given free drink that evening to compensate, which we needed after fire alarm at 11pm but staff were amazing with the fire drill/evacuation.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. Great bed. Most important, a wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We felt at home and will stay there again the next time we come to Auckland.

Great location about a 10-15 minute walk down Queen Street to the harbor area. Some construction near the hotel but the room was very quiet and large. A great all around value. Would stay again.

Excellent staff

Lovely, comfortable, modern room. The location is brilliant, right next to everything and yet away from the noise. The staff are fantastic - very friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast was also very scrumptious.

Convenient local. Spotless and clean! We got to the hotel early and were given an early checkin. We had a very early excursion the next morning and were offered a box breakfast to take along plus coffee! We highly recommend this hotel!

Gorgeous hotel.

Return traveler... have stayed here 4 times now and always enjoy the friendly service and beautiful rooms. I love the amenities they supply ... one of my favourite stays. Only downfall is parking is not on site.

Great hotel centrally located to everything. Great shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel gave a twist in art deco vibe.Hotel staff were lovely. Very nice would definitely stay again.

20 minute walk to Harbourfront. Close to Art Gallery for hop on/ hop off bus (purchase on line) In house restaurant, a bit pricey but good

Really lovely modern room, spotlessly clean and very helpful, friendly staff

We enjoyed our stay very much. The suite was very comfortable and the bed was great. The restaurant was good, but the service was a bit slow. We would gladly stay there again.

Very suitable hotel for central Auckland

The staff are nice and helpful. The room is clean and with comfy bed. Not much choices on the TV channels though. The surrounding is quiet and a bus stop is right in front of the main door. The property is about 10-15 minutes walk to city center. The food of the in house restaurant is surprisingly good.

Generally a great stay. Sadly, a poor experience in the bar - slow service, very poorly made drinks. On the other side, the dining room feature, salmon tacos, was excellent.

We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and tidy. Very convenient to the town hall. Shout out to Ollie who checked us in, he was extremely helpful we give him a 10/5.

Outstanding stay

We stayed at Airedale Boutique Suites for a couple of nights while visiting Auckland. I highly recommend this hotel. Very comfortable and clean room with all the amenities. Great location.

Enjoyable Stay

The room was a modern, renovated, spacious room that was very comfortable. It contained many amenities, such as coffee maker and other items. Very glad that we stayed there. By the way, the free hot breakfast was delicious.

Beautiful modern design! The bathroom vanity was a little tight, but the shower experience was amazing. They have a beverage fridge, which kept our wine the perfect temperature.

The room was large with a large sitting room separate from the sleeping area. There was a large bathroom. We found the room to be very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms restaurant in the lobby had was good and had several gluten free options.

Smart hotel

Really nice hotel in a great location. Parking easy in the municipal car park and at a fair price. Breakfast was disappointing - would prefer a buffet for cereals etc and cooked breakfast on request. Also would expect to have drinks replenished at no additional cost.

Not easy to find access as it is locked after certain hours, and no staff has notified me that it would be done that way crazy trying to get back into the hotel

I really enjoyed my stay. Well furnished and clean modern room. The big and comfortable bed gave me great rest to help beat the jetlag. I had nice conversation with the bartender and guests downstairs, and I quite enjoyed the breakfast. The Japanese restaurant immediately across the street was good and has apparently been there a while.

Hotel charges additional fees for credit cards, so be aware the total you see from Expedia is not correct. This should stop, when I book all fees should be included. It's an average tourist class hotel. The gym is a joke.

Solid experience

Excellent service! Highly recommended.

Love the decor and furniture. Art deco style. Close to city and restaurants/eateries. Affordable. Staff was great and accommodating. Although we didn’t eat at the restaurant it’s handy to have. Shower curtain could be a bit wider so that the water doesn’t splash too much. Not exactly triple glazed you can still hear the sirens but not too much. Bed was comfy.

First room we were given had a very loud air conditioner outside the window which meant there was no way we could sleep. After complaining we were moved to a quieter location. Staff knew about the noise when we complained so this is a problem other people have also experienced.

Highly recommend this Hotel. It’s very central, with shopping and cheap eating available very close by. Staff were a stand out for helpfulness. Rooms are also a standout. So clean, modern and comfy.

It was a great, central location! There was a bus stop right by the front entrance, shopping all around and it was an easy walk to Sky Tower and the marina.

It was a nice and cozy room. Staff were really friendly and were helpful when i asked anything of them. Simple check-in and check-out process. Great pricing too.

Our rooms were amazing, view was amazing and staff were so nice and so helpful always! This place was perfect for all 5 of us we had two rooms and honestly was so good!
