This place will be epic once the remodel is complete!
Friendly, helpful staff.
Building is being renovated but parking is poor, cleanliness of bedding was questionable.
They were in the midst of a renovation, so I don't hold the noise against them. Otherwise, my stay was great!
reno
Great service and nice hotel. Was under major construction.
On par, nothing special
The hotel is still under construction. The rooms definitely need updating. Breakfast was on par with this level of hotel. Staff was friendly. Rooms were noisy from other guests in the hallway
Whats Going On Here!?
The staff was friendly. The stay wasn't great. There was a crew working early in the morning making all sorts of noise in the hallway directly outside tje room. The room was across from the laundry room so all the housekeepers were in the hallway loading their carts and they keep the door open to the laundry room. Plus, the water wasn't hot in the restroom. Need I mention the dingy towels?
The property is really run down. Everywhere you can see aging. Bad shower pressure, good bed!
Quick check in. Great service and breakfast was great.
A great place to stay in College Station!
Disappointing room, but good service.
We were a bit disappointed with the room. When we first walked in the room, we found a dead cockroach on top of the cushioned chair. It was dry and appeared to have been there a while. We found a used contact on the floor of the bathroom. The shower floor was grimy from soap scum and who knows what else. So the cleanliness was lacking, but those were the worst things. We did not see any living cockroaches or any bugs for that matter in the 2 ish days we were there. The shower pressure was very weak rendering it useless for helping us feel clean. The employees were friendly and we enjoyed hanging out with friends in the lobby area. The desk chair in our room was broken when we arrived, and the front desk lady got it taken care of very quickly. We also appreciated having a room available that had bunkbeds since we were traveling with two kids (a boy and a girl). It wasn't awful, but it lacked in some key areas that will make us think twice about staying here on our next trip to College Station.
This place is terrible. The tv didn’t work. The bathroom door made a loud noise every time you opened and shut. Towels were thread bare. They gave one wash cloth. Just overall a terrible experience.
The property is in need of a major face lift and to be updated. The back door of the hotel is broken and has been since we stayed there over two weeks ago at the beginning of December. Brought this issue up to front desk back then, said they would get maintenance right on it. Appears nothing has been done since the last time we stayed earlier in December because the back door looked worse this time. The staff does the best they can with the resources available to them & complimentary breakfast is good. The rooms have always been clean when we have stayed there.
Shower head needs to be fix, everything else perfect.
Aggie graduation
There is no water pressure in the shower or sink .. it just drizzles out.. other than that.. the room was nice for a family with small children.. king size bed with a bunk bed. . Definitely AGGIE support!!
Ice machine was broken. Property looks a little worn down - not very modern. No laundry room
very high price with minimal amenties, rundown conditions of the hotel
This is an old hotel that has been "renovated" and signs of the old hotel are still apparent. The beds are fine, the hotel bar is great.. But the water pressure in the showers is poor. This is also a dog friendly hotel, so beware, there's a possibility, as in our case, where the owner of a dog leaves the room and barks and can be heard down the hallway.
The hotel appeared to be reused but not refurbished. Clearly price gouging based on the events of the weekend. Overall, wouldn’t recommend unless you’re paying less than $100 a night.
Every time we're in the area we stay at this Unique Boutique we love everything about it. Nice rooms nice air conditioning good breakfast and nice bar.
.
The third floor smelled like there was a water leak.
Overall great experience
This is an older hotel, it has been re-done and is ok. Nothing special and ok for one or two nights. It is walkable to the campus so that’s why we picked it. Will probably stay here again.
Good stay
The staff was friendly and facility looked clean. However, the building looked like it could use some love. Location was good so I’d still stay there again in the future.
Cute
The location is great but the entrance is a little weird. It’s like entering a store rather than a hotel. Everything is pretty and nicely decorated at first glance. Upon further inspection, the paint on all of the walls, floorboards, trim, etc is chipped and peeling. But, it’s a cute hotel, and it’s clean. We loved the room we had with a king bed and bunks. I wish more hotels offered this layout!
There was great the only thing was we had hardly any to basically no water pressure in the shower
Pay $50.00 more
We will not stay here again, we drove 8 hours to get here, We call to ask what time the restaurant and bar closed, They told us the restaurant served until 10:00 pm We got there at 8:30 and told us they were already closed, Font desk staff a little no caring, To top all that off the TV in our room did not work Take my word spread $50.00 more and stay at a nicer hotel
Close to Kyle Field and TAMU.
Remodeled Ramada
Older property that has been renovated. My room was clean enough. Staff was kind and considerate. My pet was allowed to stay for an extra fee per night. It is not the best nor the worst place I have ever stayed. I saw very few other guests at the hotel, which was odd. Several places to eat close by.
Great hotel and location.
The only thing I didn’t like was the over night attendant at the desk was very rude to my wife because she asked her to program key for room again because neither of the keys were opening the door to our room. This was around 1:30 am after midnight yell we were too tired and exhausted to even complain we just wanted to go to bed after a 6 hour drive to College Station.
Our TV did not work the entire time we were there, but did in other rooms and the lobby and the only thing they offered us was a free drink.
The ac unit wasn’t working properly but nothing major
Good location, but that’s about it.
Hotel is really run down and not maintained.
The rooms, elevator and building is basically lipstick on a pig. Low water pressure, rusted restroom, musty smell, stains on carpet, half ass paint job in room.
Good stay for the price
Good stay for the price. Convenient for Taxas A&M and restaurants
The fire alarm went off at 5:00am. Could night find anyone working to help out. The alarm continued for 2 hours
Close to the Track
Sold on Amenities that didn't exist!
First off the description for this location stated laundry facility; while it does have a hotel facility for linens, it does not have a laundry room for guest and the picture of one is not true. Secondly, there was no gym access as listed in description. Restaurant, is a working kitchen but seating is in general lounge area; there is no separately attached restaurant. My room was not cleaned upon entering. It appeared to have been a while ago but dust, dirt and debris seemed to have is way for a long time. Property ridden with plumbing issues: clogged bathroom sink, poor water pressure (showing was difficult), leaking game room ceiling, seepage of rain through air conditioning unit was apparent. The water issue in hotel was so much an issue that by my 3rd night, my asthma started to kick in. Finally, on second night I had to resolve being charged a "did not show fee," after I had obviously checked in; and being charged for my first night twice, it took a day and waiting to resolve. Great location and good breakfast were all this place had going for it.
Went for TAMU NSC. Wasn’t disappointed esp for the price! Staff was polite and room was clean. Good bfast!
Very limited parking, not super clean, crowded (long waits for elevators). Someone was obviously smoking weed in a room and the smell of it blew it through our vents. It the best stay, but things get super booked quickly in College Station when anything is going on.
Nice but loud
The staff was friendly, and the free breakfast exceeded expectations. I really appreciated the bunk bed in the room too. The only thing preventing a 4-star review really wasn’t the fault of the hotel, but maybe it’s because it’s a college town, there was loud and extremely rowdy guests. We heard them yelling and laughing in the parking lot and in our hallway at night. They were running, wrestling, and yelling in our hallway until THREE AM. I assume they were drunk, but I traveled with kids for a National track event and they all needed their sleep, but did not get sound sleep because of how loud and wild it was. For that reason, I wouldn’t stay again with kids.
Convenient location, some renovation needed in rooms and lobby
It’s a place to stay. Be aware they don’t offer late check outs.
Comfortable room
The hotel room was very comfortable. The double beds was a nice touch for my two kids. They were able to have their own bed and not fight. There was enough space to put all our luggage as well. The room was very comfortable.
It was a little sketchy….
This is a $100-$120 hotel.
Overall, the hotel was decent. Parking wasn’t great. The lot was so full I had to park behind one of the strip centers and was concerned my truck would get broken into. I saw 2 dead roaches on the floor coming out of the stairwell. But hey, at least they were dead. The icing on the cake was when I attempted to take a shower in the morning. My 97 year old grandfather produced a better stream than what came out of the shower head.
The shower was dangerous. Very slippery Loud guests on our floor.
A&M Volleyball camp
People were nice but air conditioning never really cooled the room. Parking was difficult which we didnt think wouls be a problem on a Wednesday night. When asked for another blanket for one of the kids, they were out. But room was clean and the people ar thr desk were nice and helpful.
Smell of drainage and dirty restroom
Not what it tries to be
The biggest disappointment is the website pictures for the food at the on site restaurant look amazing, but there is no restaurant! You can order burgers or pizza that get delivered to your room, but it looks sketchy. The bed was comfy, but there is no soundproofing for what’s going on in the hall and between rooms is only barely muffled.
Lack of service and there was dirty socks in the closest.
The first night my ac wasn’t working so I was moved to a different room. The water pressure was so bad, I couldn’t even get shampoo rinsed out of my hair. It was raining when I arrived and the lobby had buckets placed all over to catch water from all the leaks
Hurricane Beryl
Due to hurricane Beryl, we had to cancel our trip because it was too dangerous to travel. We tried to get a hold of Hotel, Expedia, or hotel.com. It was very difficult to get a hold of anybody and we were referred to several wrong numbers. I understand the the policy in that we did not get her money refunded, but nobody we talked to was very nice about it.
Decent Stay
Front desk person was attentive, first room we checked into only had one bed made with linens. Room phone didn’t work, went to the front desk to request linens for the unmade bed, they ended up changing our room. A lot of caution tape in the common areas, apparently going through some renovations. Definitely felt like off season, staff was attentive, but the hotel is needing some maintenance, which was in progress. Would stay again.
Old Hotel trying to appear New
This hotel is obviously very old and they call it a boutique because they painted the walls and added Aggie decor. Nevertheless, the ceilings are low, the shower had very little water pressure, the AC was a unit near the window. I would not stay here again.
Just okay
Hotel was old and upgrades were superficial and cheaply done. Breakfast was not a buffet and it was horrible. Game room was fun for kids. Front desk staff were very helpful.
My family and I have stayed here on previous trips. We like the customer service, design of hotel, rooms, location. I do not like the windows not being tinted… where we can see out but no one can see inside! That is a negative.
The staff is nice and beds were very comfortable. The free water was nice to have. Overall this hotel is good for a night or two. Was glad to have a fridge and microwave . More of a challenge if you are staying longer with all girls/women. If staying longer, damp rid in the room helped with the humidity of Texas. Made the a/c run more efficient. There is no dresser and the closet we had was small for 3 people and no real hanging rod. We did pack extra hangers and that helped with the storage of clothes. Also no luggage rack. No place to put things in the shower if you bring your razor or own shampoos but they do provide shampoo/conditioner and lotion. The lounge area downstairs was the place to be. The market was also a nice added touch. Nicely located in town and close to the College and walking distance to several restaurants. Ladies, bring your lighted makeup mirrors as the lighting is a bit dim.
Great spot, good value!
Cute little spot with not a lot of traffic. We would stay here again.
We were there for a work trip so we were not there very much but the hotel had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable.
Nice, clean room. Staff was wonderful.
Cute idea, but still needs a lot of work! Beds were clean, and if you don't want to pay a ridiculous amount to stay at a nice hotel in town, this is a good option. If you are picky, this is not it.
Just okay.
At check-in, we were assigned a dirty room. I let staff know we would need another room. A staff member went to check on a possible option and came back an 45 min later, no one saying a word to us. After they helped a couple other guests my husband and I inquired about the room. We were told there were no rooms available and that housekeeping was gone for the day so the original room we were given would not be an option. Stating Hotels.com oversold the night at their hotel. I asked for a manager and shorty there after we were given a cool, clean room for the next 2 nights. I understand that things happen but it seemed like the girls behind the front desk were perfectly content to make no effort at problem solving. If you took my reservation and do not have a room you should, at the very least, refund my booking so I can find another place to stay. Housekeeping being gone for the day with dirty rooms and Hotels.com overbooking their hotel is not my problem, as a pre-paid guest. Overall the hotel is okay. Seem to overlook the little details that take a hotel from ok to good or even great. Wires all over the place behind the TV, messy paint jobs in the rooms and bunched carpet in the hallways. Despite this, the bed was one of if not the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept on in a long time.
It was just ugly, no green space anywhere.
Great stay
Comfortable bed.
Never again.
Wasn’t told I would lose my room if I didn’t got the first night. Son got sick and we didn’t come down for the Friday night stay. Was told it was fine and we would see them tomorrow. Went to check in and they gave my room away. No rooms in the entire town.
Super Affordable-clean & friendly! Fun little bar!!
NSC trip (new student conference)
Very dim lighting in rooms and one lamp was on verge of breaking (desktop) room 3333z. Need some bright overhead lighting. Shower pressure was Not so great on 3rd floor. Overall bed was comfortable/space wise was good too. Nice fridge/ and microwave.
Very Helpful Staff. Always great staying there.
Staff was awesome. Checked in late after extra inning baseball. Kid got a bad headache and got sick. Staff at front helped us out with extra trash bags and the next morning let us check out late so he could sleep in.
Staff is friendly and helpful! Rooms are clean, housekeeping staff is top notch!!
Staff was very helpful.
Wow! Where do I begin! I luckily only had to stay at the property from 10pm- 9am and that was more than enough. The lobby was muggy like the AC was out upon entry. As we got on the elevator you could tell the AC was definitely having issues. Once we got to our floor it was hot and muggy. We went in our room and turned the AC on that barely worked. The room was incredibly humid. The beds seemed clean and comfortable so we were happy about that. Then we went to take a shower and there was NO water pressure to the point I had to wash shampoo out of mine and my childrens hair in the sink. Then we started hearing a beeping sound in the hallway. The beeping was coming from the AC system that was exposed in the hallway. That night I went in between the humidity of the room and the beeps from the AC system keeping me awake all night. In the morning I noticed that the floor of the room was sticky and the rug in the room was moist. My children had been bare foot and when I checked their feet they were black! They showered the night before. I honestly wish I would of just stayed at a motel 6 given this “ boutique” experience. I guess if I was 18 and blackout drunk this would of been fine.
It was okay.
The lobby is the attraction. Hip, relaxed vibe. So much maintenance needed. A little disappointing to see simple blemishes and wear and tear not fixed. Really makes the property look run down. Peeling wall paper, broken floor tiles and ceiling tiles in elevator. Sloppy paint job in rooms. Feels like a motel 6 that was renovated on a budget and slapped a “boutique” name to it. The bed was fine, room felt clean, and ac worked well. It did what we needed it to do and was fine. Small fixes will make it feel less run down and questionable.
So so hotel
Bad water pressure, a/c so so and no tv signal and no offer to fix or compensate
Sad and poor business model!
Go back and read my comment from my check in experience. You are missing the personal touch by being all digital. Because I couldn’t get through to a breathing person, I couldn’t explain my situation, therefore this stay never happened. I doubt anyone reads this comment either. SAD and poor business.
.
Wasn’t as clean and presentable as we would have assumed it would be. Entry was nice, staff was ok, not very professional but nice. Rooms were solid, beds good. No TV throughout the stay, made for a very boring stay with our down time.
Great free breakfast. Clean room with comfortable bed. Towels were like sandpaper but all else was good.
Clean, quiet, cute little hotel. We were in town for a baseball game and we were 5 minutes from the field. Complimentary water in the room as well as complimentary breakfast. Plenty of free parking. Friendly staff.
Eh, not terrible…
This hotel is extremely convenient to shopping and dining options. It is also a short walk to Kyle field. With that being said, we have been going to the hotel for 3 years and it has consistantly been under some kind of construction. This time, our water pressure was terrible! And our AC did not blow very cold…. It was not too bad, but it could have been better.
Wouldn’t be my first choice
The hotel is on par with a a motel six. The lobby’s is beautiful but once you hit the elevator it’s pretty run down. The room has a lot of dust, trash and debris around the edges of beds and furniture. Honestly, if there had been other options on a busy College Station weekend, we would have changed hotels.
They had more than a year to have a property that will represent the price I paid. The kitchen smell, the unfinished lobby, the elevators falling apart, broken tiles… frustrating.
It was nice and very quiet
I was there for an overnight softball tournament. I called ahead letting front desk know I would be arriving after midnight. Upon arrival around 130am I could not find anyone at the front desk. I rang the bell several times and tried to call the hotel for some sort of service. I stood there for about 25 minutes until I decided to look behind the back of the desk and see the small office to the left. The gentleman was asleep with his phone playing loudly by his ear. I tried to wake him with “hello, excuse me”. After several attempts I had to shake him awake. After a long three hour drive into town and an exhausting night of playing ball - I was pretty upset trying to get into my hotel room. Next time I will look for somewhere else to stay.
Favorite hotel. Affordable, nice staff, great bed, no train noise and great breakfast.
It was an alright, basic, no frills stay. Surprised by no dressers, drawers, or luggage racks- literally lived out ofsuitcases. Breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Have stayed here multiple times! Could not recommend it more! Safe, clean and accessible !
Great stay & convenient to anywhere around! Walking distance to Jason’s Deli, Cold Stone, and a few stores. Will be back!
Convenient location. Room was clean. Breakfast was the best “free” breakfast of any hotel we’ve stayed at. Sketchy guys on scooters hanging in the parking lot - I wouldn’t leave anything of value in your car.
Review
Everyone was friendly & laid back. Hotel was convenient to our local events. Easy check in & out.
Poor quality of maintanance on the elevator grease floors in the bedrooms and slippery shower floor
Good
We have stayed here before. It's close to the university and it's super cute
Staff was great. Lucia and Azalea took the time to make sure everything was well taken care of during my stay.
Stairwells were unfinished and dirty. Water pressure was terrible.

Front desk staff was excellent, other hotel staff such as housekeeping, maintenance, and construction were super friendly and made us feel so welcomed. The beat mattress from a hotel weve ever slept on!
