Great One-Night Getaway

My wife and I stayed overnight for her Birthday celebration. We had a wonderful experience with this hotel. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. If there is anything negative, it would be that there's no elevator. However, it's only two stories so it wasn't that big of a deal. We plan to come back!

We got to the area a day early, and the front desk attendant was very helpful and let us check in for an extra night. She was very helpful on which restaurants to go to. Coffee was ready early. Room was very clean.

Lovely place and clean

Good value for the money. Location is not on the beach but a short walk to either ocean or inlet side.

The staff was awesome. The location great. The beds were horrible the mattresses were so hard we both had trouble sleeping. Will not stay here again because of the uncomfortable mattresses.

Nice but no elevator

This was our second time at this hotel and had good experiences both times. On our first tip it was just me and my wife; this time my wife and I, and our two kids, 10yr old and 8month old. Our first trip as just a couple we stayed on the first floor, no problem. But this trip, with the four of us, our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator. Not the most fun carrying luggage for four people u to the second floor. Other than that, good stay for the value and absolutely LOVED the proximity to the beach and being able to walk there. Overall would recommend.

Think twice before booking

Check in was okay. But the room was not nice at all. The shower was missing one of the doors so when the water was on the bathroom floor got wet. The water also didnt get very hot in the shower either. The mattress was very very uncomfortable and the pillows were like sleeping on cardboard. There is also no elevator. And there was broken glass in the stairwell. I will not be back to this hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, short walk to a beautiful beach with a pier and small pavillion, and parking included with the room...best price in the area, as well.

Walkable to everywhere.

I didn't stay and need a refund! There was NO staff on-site and they didn't have any power either. I called the hotel and got nothing but the run around. No has returned my calls yet about a refund. This hotel is real shady and unprofessional. There is NO customer service at all!

Safe area

Staff was accommodating and very friendly. The location was close to all shopping, restaurants, and the beach.

Nice little hotel. Lauren at the front desk is amazing. She was very friendly and fast with the check in, she made some restaurant suggestions and it was great. The beach is some minutes away and everything else as well. It looks they recently renewed the hall’s floor and it’s all uneven. Also, the water pressure in the shower es poor.

Close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel is a bit quirky but clean and comfortable.

Hotel was clean, just a little dark due to paint color. Very walkable to beach and a few restaurants. They were very crowded though. No view of the beach.

Overnight Stay

The hotel was ok for the price. The room was fairly renovated, but you could definitely tell areas that were missed. Found a baby cockroach in the bathroom, but other than that, clean. Staff was very nice and accomodating.

The staff were amazing.

We enjoyed our visit! The pool was dirty and would benefit from regular inspection. The staff were welcoming. The breakfast room is now a convention area and should be restored to dining.

Staff were very kind- moved us to a lower floor when we discovered there was no elevator. Clean and comfortable room that was also very quiet since we were a few blocks from the beach action. Pretty views of beach houses was an unexpected treat.

The place was basic...the only frill was the location. The pool was filthy and the rooms were not well maintained and not cleaned well.

The rooms were average for Tybee but the pool was brown. The beds and bathroom were clean, but we didn’t have a shower door. With 4 of us taking showers, that was a lot of water on the floor. The air conditioner was very loud and kept kicking off and back on. The outside of the property was a little run down, but that’s average for Tybee Island. It is walking distance to the shops and beach.

All was good. Our room was the 1st room from check in and where ice machine was and it was just very loud until maybe 1am. Other than that it was a good experience.

it's right on the strip, you probably couldn't hear the motorcycles & traffic if the room door wasn't warped & you could see the openings at least 1/2" around the door, one of the queen beds actually had bed bug residue, blood, etc but we didn't actually see any. Wires were stretched across the room like extension cords that powered everything, a real fire hazard for sure!, wires were not even in conduct, bathtub was rusty, older type toilet sets low to the floor & didn't flush well, I like dogs & animals but not outside my door growling at me daring me to come out of my room, This place is a $20 dollar crack motel.

Nice Beach Hotel

Overall good hotel! Spent time on the beach so the hotel was mainly for sleeping :)

Property’s side door would not lock, so I felt unsafe all th time. Property has no elevator, extremely inconvenient. Property owner needs to state this on soliciting page with Expedia.

Good stay with a few downfalls…

We grabbed a room for a last minute quick stop. They have a very nice parking area on property. Their location is excellent for walking to restaurants, shops, and beach. There is no elevator for the second floor. They have and appear they are working on updates. Rooms were clean enough. Water pressure in shower was less than desired and the rain fall head did not work. Mini frig was nonfunctional. Used the pool after dinner and a walk on the beach. It was very pleasant and comfortable. All in all would stay again, but not sure it’s a vacation destination. It served a great service to us.

It was super smoky outside from cigarettes the hotel was rundown,there was black mold in the rooms the shower head was broken and it stunk. The staff was very rude.

Friendly and helpful staff

Ok for a night.

When we arrived it was a bit before our check in time so the room was not ready but the young lady at the front desk offered to call us when it was. She was very pleasant and ended up calling to let us know we could check in about an hour later. When we came back a few hours later to check in the shift had changed and there was a different woman there. When we walked in she did not speak and I was just standing at the desk, she did not look up to acknowledge us so I had to say hello first and let her know we were checking in. We thought it was strange but brushed it off. The hotel does not have stairs but that is stated on the website, I just wish you could choose if you wanted a room downstairs because we were traveling with small children. The hotel website advertises free breakfast but they stated due to Covid they no longer offer it which is kind of weird considering it’s almost 2025 and no other precautions were being taken. Just say you don't offer it anymore and be done. The room was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable and the ac did not get as cold as it should have been. We were hot but dealt with it because it was only one night. Also the shower heads did not work correctly. The rain shower part was just random drips like it was clogged and the bathroom sink sprayed out in every direction when you turned the water on. Seems like calcium build up on both spouts was the issue. Check out was easy as the same pleasant woman from the day before was back.

The property was remodeled the room was clean and within walking distance to the beach, resturants, shopping, and the peir. The only reason for the 4 stars on condition and facilities was the shower didn't have good pressure and took forever to warm up. Maid service wasn't everyday which was ok for us but when we needed towels all we had to do was ask.

I received a call from the Inn letting me know that my room was available two hours before time. I really appreciated the call since I was really tired from the drive there.

No phone in room, Outlets did not work, Staff very unfriendly, Plank floor in the hallway, bubbled and made noise and sunken when you walked, In the rooms, all planking no carpet, Pillows, hard as a rock, Staff very unfriendly, Would not recommend not worth what we paid for it reminded me of a Motel 6 Minus the bugs. Refund would be great!!!!!

I liked the location of the property.

Property was well maintained. The rooms were newly renovated and quite nice. Pool was good though they didn't supply pool towels at all. One block to the beach. One block to restaurants and beach shopping. Quiet inside the motel. We enjoyed our stay. Cleaning staff was especially helpful and nice.

Housekeeping never cleaned our room in the 4 nights we were there. I thought they would have cleaned it at least once. Also, the pool was nice, but it had a dirty bottom. I never saw anyone clean the pool.

Peace and quiet.

We were in for a funeral for one night. It was clean comfortable and thankfully very sound proof and quiet.

Good, except for the shower

Check in was fast and easy. Staff friendly. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Location is great with easy walking to pier, shopping, restaurants. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. I know men with prostate issues that have better flow. So little water comes out that it takes 5 minutes or longer just to get the water temperature stable, and another 5 minutes to get yourself wet.

Great, clean, convenient stay in Tybee Island

A very convenient place to stay to enjoy all that Tybee has to offer. Walkable to fun restaurants, right across the street from The Breakfast Club - a favorite on the island for breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was renovated and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The only item we had any issue was getting the temp in the shower right - it was either too hot or too cool but not a deal breaker in any way. I would definitely stay again.

Very Convenient to a lot of things

We arrived about 4 hours earlier than our check in time. I asked if we could check in and she said our room would be ready in about 10 minutes. That was definitely a plus. Room was cooled off and felt great on a very hot and humid day! I'll definitely be staying here again.

Was not told that you had to put out request to have clean towels and your room made up. The door hanger for this was in the closet and we did not use the closet. Would not stay there again.

Okay for the price

The hotel was okay. It looks a lot more updated in the advertising than it actually is. There's also no elevator. If you have any mobility issues make sure you get a first floor room.

The only issue was lack of an elevator. My wife overpacks and it was a challenge getting upstairs with a 100 pound suitcase. Very central location and newly renovated was a plus.

Loved it

With some remodeling and or maintenance staff on hand. They are very nice people but toilet and shower are both pices of shi*. Bed is hard as brick. Room cleaning staff are ver nice and quick at clean up your room. Office staff was very nice. Everything else was good but i had a crying as* baby one night across from me that kept me up. Beach is 3to5 min walk and it is nice, they had a live band and people from all different walks of life party together on the pier/board walk we rock out with some nice peoples, love that. Went fishing and had a lot of help with fish and they have someone there to help you pull in the big fish. And if you like the Juicy Crab in Duluth Georgia area you want really like there seafood.

Rooms are not as described on their website. Pictures are very misleading. There is NO Breakfast. The spa like showers are not at all Spa like! We had a standard shower in a tub! Be sure you are reading the paperwork you are signing at check in. 1st hotel I’ve ever seen that will charge you a garbage fee if the garbage does not fit in the provided trash cans in the room. Thankfully for us, I’m a clean freak. We were there 2 nights and nobody checked if we needed it taken out or if we needed anything! They claim the rooms are soundproof. They definitely are not. If a quiet nights sleep is your thing, I strongly suggest finding somewhere else to stay.

Great access to beach areas. Dining opportunities are very basic. The hotel has no elevator and relatively steep stairs so carrying items to rooms on second floor is inconvenient.

I highly recommend this place if you want to stay on Tybee Island. It is right in the middle of shopping and restaurants and only one block to the beach. The staff is super friendly and the room was very clean. Yes it is an older hotel, but it has been completely renovated, so it feels new. Parking was super easy. They even let us check in early because our room was ready. I thought we might be in for a noisy night since we were right on the strip by the restaurants but it actually ended up being pretty quiet. We felt safe at all times. The outdoor pool is a bonus!

Wonderful easy service. Great location for walking to beach, dining, or shopping. Bathroom needs ventilation - humidity seems to be causing issues with the vent and paint.

The room didn't look nice like the pictures. The floors were filthy, lamp shades dented, a roach in the bathroom, comforter was ripped, bath towels were very small, shower curtain was dirty. There was no continental breakfast as described. The worst was the bed was horrible. You could hear every spring and it was so out of shape, I felt like I was going to roll off it was so uneven. Air conditioning didn't work most of the time. Walls were thin, I could here the people next us having a conversation.

Easy walk to beach restaurants and stores

The staff was nice except for the housekeeper. Cecilia and the other lady were very helpful and had a nice and respectful demeanor. The room was good for the price. The location was very convenient to go to the beach, restaurants and shops on and off Strand Avenue. Everything was walking distance.

Simple, basic place to stay. Everything was good during our stay. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The only thing I personally did not like was that the beds were very firm. The water pressure for the shower and temperature were a little off as well.

The property was excellent. My only issue was that the "workout room" had one of two lights out and had no airflow.
