Central location

Staff and resort awesome. Lovely breakfast daily rooms older style but extremely clean. Location central to everything and love the two entrances. Family room was great.

This hotel is very outdated with old sewage system, moldy faucets, slow running tub and sink that are clogged. They used old towels and also are very conservative about giving guest more than 2 towels in the room. They also charge you for dirty towels, even though that’s is part of the hotel’s amenities. So don’t get your towels dirty as they claimed they do not use bleach to clean their towels. The rooms ar not cold enough and there’s always mosquitoes eating you alive at night when you are sleeping. Don’t expect to have a peaceful night of sleep as the surrounding area has live music and parties nightly so if you want to sleep in peace go elsewhere. There are no elevators in this hotel so you will be climbing concrete stairs on a daily. Employees are nice but it was really annoying they keep asking you for your room number everywhere you go on the property. The food and drink serve at their restaurant was just ok. The Kuta location seems a lot nicer.

Our family with young kids stayed here on our holiday and we really enjoyed it! The hotel itself is located in a very convenient spot, a short walk to the beach and within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is clean and spacious and we loved having a pool when we weren't at the beach. The only thing to note is there may be noise/music at night from the clubs next to the hotel, but it didn't actually bother our family.

Loved the fact that it was a small hotel, and felt personal … breakfast was delicious, pool amazing, staff very friendly, food great & location brilliant.. just outside your on a bustling road but being at the back still quiet enough to sleep at night. Will definitely be returning to the Adi Dharma Legian

Everything about this place is wonderful, from the staff to the restaurant, right in the heart of everything but still with a resort feeling.

We loved our stay. Pool was lovely, restaurant was great and the room was clean and comfortable. Loud music can be heard at night but when you choose to stay on Legian St, that’s to be expected. We would definitely stay again!

Nice old style hotel.Big rooms and clean .Good reasonable priced restaurant on site with breakfast available,ours was included . Only downside was a couple of noisy nightclubs nearby which we could hear from our room. Staff were friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help out if needed.

Absolutely love this hotel . The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The overall appearance and upkeep of the hotel and grounds was brilliant. Considering covid lockdown and closure of Bali the Adi Dharma hotel rooms were kept immaculate. Restaurant and pool area are both great. Very central location to everything and everywhere. Very good price for this little gem of a hotel

The property was in a great spot close to all shops and restaurants the pool is small but still good had the pool to ourselves most days the down fall is the 2 night clubs close by the music goes till around 3 in the morning it’s very loud most nights

Location and cleanliness staff very helpful good food

We recently stayed 5 days at the Cottages and 5 days at the Hotel. We had issues at Cottages with smell and a significantly leaking roof, the smell was not addressed and it became so bad the bathroom could not be used, we did complain and nothing happened. Once the ceiling leaked happened then we were offered to be moved to another room. None were available for a family at the Cottages, we were then moved to the Hotel of a room of the same level, an upgrade would have been nice given the problems. Pool at the Cottage was beautiful, Hotel was a little old and run down. Swim up bar is great in theory but we couldn’t get near it for people sitting at it, loud offensive language and chain smoking, as a non smokers this made us not really want to use the pool. The pool close time of 8:00PM was early and would suggest opening up to a later time. Breakfast was similar at both places, adequate for an included price, maybe Cottage offered a better breakfast menu but Hotel had a buffet if that is more your style. The staff were friendly and helpful and grounds and gardens well maintained and beautiful. If you are looking for a reasonable price, central location then would recommend if you are traveling on a budget.

The property was an oasis in Kuts with beautiful gardens and quiet rooms while in the midst of the chaos that can be Kuta. Great pool & staff too! Would absolutely go back!!

Great staff, beautiful rooms gorgeous gardens. Once inside it feels like a beautiful quiet oasis distanced from the noise and bustle of the main street even though its all on the door step

We had an excellent stay. We were up on the 3rd floor Adjoining rooms so there were steps to climb! But all good helps to walk off the Amazing food and drinks!

The staff are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Have stayed here many times but has now just been renovated. It has still kept its Balinese look and feel and is in the heart of Kuta but not noisy staff are very friendly and helpful

Great hotel reasonably priced. This is our fourth stay here. Newly refurbised also. Staff are lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay at Adi Dhama Cottages. The staff were friendly & helpful and not intrusive. The location was great for shopping, eating & massages. The ammenities at the cottages were perfect for lazy days. We loved our stay here.

Staff were very friendly, helpful and kind. Always smiling and wanting to know if you need anything. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable two bottles of water provided daily which was nice. Bathroom was clean with all amenities provided. Definitely recommend & would stay again!

Great value hotel in great location.

It was our second stay at Adi Dharna cottages and it was lovely once again. The bed was comfy and nice balcony. Good breakfast with lots of choices either at the cottages or at the hotel which is a nice option. Gardens and pool are lovely also. Recommend to stay here.

Lovely cottages in a great location.

This was my third stay here. The cottages and gardens are lovely. Very balinese which is what I love compared to modern hotels. It is great value for money, rooms are immaculate and have everything you need. Pool is very nice especially with the waterfall. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Adi dharma cottages to anyone. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

A quiet Oasis in bustling Kuta.

Set back from the road in beautiful grounds, built with traditional Balinese touches - a welcome change from many of the generic hotels in the vicinity. There is even a temple on premises and I saw occasional dance performances being advertised. Located close to Kuta bars/shopping with a passage to the beach. The pool was lovely and staff were helpful. Room was very clean; bathroom was a little dated but immaculate with perfect water pressure/hot water. The hotel was quiet with minimal traffic noise but there was a little noise from neighbouring Sheraton bar that stopped around 23:30.

Beautiful

I stayed at the cottages for 1 night when we first arrived in Bali. The hotel pool and staff were amazing super friendly and helpful. The bed in the room was a tad hard.

Overall a good experience. Room was quiet and relaxing considering the location. Staff were friendly but sometimes a bit pushy in trying to get you to attend their BBQ evenings. We ate at the restaurant on our first night but the food wasn't anything special - considering the options for eating and drinking in Kuta we didn't choose to have dinner there again but for breakfast it was fine.

Slightly disappointed

Room I was given were nothing like the pictures on hotels.com site. No hot running water in sink basin had to use shower hose to fill sink for a shave! On the plus side staff are pleasant and friendly

5 STAR LUXURY for a Great Price

Just returned from my 10 days stay at Adi Dharma Cottages ..it was perfect ...Great Service ..friendly staff that make u feel at home and leave being family...excellent restaurant with great food..perfect location to everything walking distance ....had a Deluxe Room with private shower (NO BATH) Rm 428 which was perfect for me..very private and quiet on ground floor level...my friend had a Deluxe room Rm 435 on 1st floor with private balcony overlooking the pool area which was beautiful also..highly recommend Adi Dharma Cottages to u..great price for 5 STAR service and location..u wont be disappointed...will definitely going back next year again..thank u Adi Dharma for a perfect holiday..

Good for a basic hotel but it can be very noisy depending on what cottage you stay in.

Short in-between stay

This hotel is lovely, but depending what your after, for me the surroundings was a bit too busy. I had a beautiful new room at the back of the property, which happened to side the lane way next to eateries and shops, so got a little noisy at times. Having said that, there are some excellent eateries a short walk from the hotel. Breakfast was just basic but adequate. Room was extremely clean and large. overall great value!

Great Hotel & Location, friendly staff

Loved the location of the hotel and the pool is fantastic. Very friendly staff and extremely helpful and prompt if there is an issue. Our air con didn't work, maintenance turned up within 20 mins and had it all re-gassed and fixed.

I have been staying at the Adi Dharma Cottages over many years .. It has been 13 years since my last stay and I have been back twice in the last 3 months . The staff still remember me after all these years . I Love the Adi Dharma Cottages and will only stay here in Bali . It is close to everything I want .. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A very nice place.

It was a very nice stay. The staff is excellent. The restaurant is a nice place with good service. It's a pity that the loud music of the opposite hotel can be heard in some rooms at night.

Great Location - Old Style Hospitality

Another wonderful stay at the Adi Dharma. This older Bali style establishment offers true old style hospitality. Usually visit 3-4 times a year and the very friendly staff always make me feel welcome at my "second home". A big thank you to the owner and staff who organised an appreciation night for the many guests who choose to return every year, a great night with dinner and entertainment on the house, a very nice gesture.. Stayed at the cottages again mainly due to the central location with their very popular restaurant the Nasi Bali situated right on Legian, addicted to their seafood curry served a "little spicy" on request. I find the breakfast choice unique too, order from the menu at the Cottages or enjoy the buffet style at the Hotel and only a 2 minute walk away - the choice is yours.. Looking forward to returning there in November, my bag is packed.

Stayed at both the Hotel and cottages, the staff were absolutely amazing, particularly Dewi who offered so much help and kindness when flights were grounded due to the ash cloud. Both the Hotel and Cottages were fabulous, very clean, lovely gardens and pools, and fantastic location. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! :)

I only stay at hotels that offer well maintained rooms that are 100% clean and the Adi Dharma Cottages supply this and much, much more, I have stayed here on five occasions the latest being for 16 days in May and it is the best hotel that I have stayed at anywhere! It is a traditional styled hotel of beautiful buildings including a small temple, it also has lovely serene gardens and pathways sprinkled all through the property that are a delight to walk through.The rooms are large as are the bathrooms, the beds are big & very comfortable and everything you need in the rooms is supplied, a fridge, TV, air con, a room safe, ample closet space, balcony etc and is cleaned every day to a high standard, also plenty of fresh linen is supplied.The staff are all very friendly without being intrusive and are always willing to assist with any request you may have, be it advice on where to change money, transport, tours, shopping, restaraunts, local informatiion.The restaraunt supplies great food & drinks in a relaxed atmosphere with an outlook over the pool area which is very inviting & spotlessly clean, in fact the entire grounds are a delight and a tribute to the staff. I find the hotel to be peaceful & quiet, it doesn't cater to footy teams or schoolie type holidays, but still provides a great venue for adult kids to enjoy the facilities & have a great fun holiday, the Adi Dharma Cottages are great for any type of holiday so stay here with confidence all at very reasonable rates!
